Ayana figured the best thing to train is to first do the simplest and easiest thing. Which is also the very first step to being a ninja. Chakra training.
The people with the masks have told her that if she trains hard enough, she'll be a great ninja one day. But she doesn't know why they would be so interested in her.
She shrugged off the thought and decided to put her focus on training. What would be good for a first training exercise? She thought to herself. Ayana looked over at a tree, and that's when the thought hit her. She focused chakra to her feet, and started to walk to the tree. Soon, she was walking up it, that is, until she lost focus and fell.
"Ow!" she yelped as she got back up. The girl dusted herself off and tried again, a little bit mad at herself, going for a run rather than a walk. This time, she made more progress, but the wood cracked from the chakra that was at her feet, her own chakra pushing her away from the tree. She landed with a harder thud. Ayana was starting to get angry, but then a thought occurred to her.
Maybe she was going about this all wrong. Maybe she just needed to calm down and find the right medium of chakra to flow to her feet. She got back up, but this time, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Once she opened her eyes she walked slow, but confidently to the tree. Slowly but surely, she made progress, past the first try. Past the second try. And finally, she made it to the top of the tree in no time. Ayana was very well pleased with herself. Now. For her to get down from here...
