Physical Description: Just a pretty little blonde girl with strange golden eyes, something that could pierce your soul. She has a strange fascination for ribbons and often shows it by wearing them in her hair. Her hair’s actually where vanity is shown, the long, silky blonde locks have always been a source of pride. Eyes are wide, almost doe-like, and most can see nothing in them but a childish glimmer. Often in a dress, usually of some pastel color, Kori looks to be the perfect little girl. Skin is pale but with a healthy glow, a trait inherited from her mother. Kori has an average build for a child her age, though perhaps there are a few curves that aren’t normally seen on an eight year old.
Personality: She’s sweet, she’s innocent, she’s everything a child should be. At least, that’s what everyone sees. Kori is fairly adept at hiding what she doesn’t want people to see, a trait picked up from her parents. Generally this child is studious, often immersing herself in books and ignoring the people around her; unless she has the desire to listen to their conversation. Very shy, almost to the point of being pitifully so, it takes a rare person to make her open up. She can be sickeningly sweet, but sometimes the desire to just hurt something is buried beneath the surface…
Likes: The stars, poetry, the wind, and the cold.
Dislikes: Sunlight, warm weather, and loud noises.
Interests: Reading, writing, and gathering information.
History: Kori’s a bright young child, willing and wishing to learn anything the world has to offer her. Every since she was old enough to read she’d immerse herself in books. Granted, they were never books that told her very much considering her age level. A favorite pastime was sitting around listening to stories her grandparents would tell her, or begging her parents to explain why everything was the way it was. Anything she asked for was given freely, and while this would spoil most children it was not the case of this young girl. Willing to work around the house and help out in any way, it bestowed a good work ethic within her. It helped as Kori got older and things around home turned a bit rough financially. She’s a fairly shy child, preferring to keep to herself and simply listen to what those around her are saying. This made it difficult for her parents to hide much, as one way or another Kori always overheard a secret conversation. Violence was never allowed in the home, most negative emotions were kept hidden, and so she learned to hide hers. People see her joy, her smiles, but nothing else. Occasionally there may be outbursts, as expected from a child, but each day this young one gets better at controlling her emotions. Problems may arise soon, as Kori’s parents recently split up and flipped everything in her world upside down. However, as a way to placate their child they enrolled her in the Academy. It will be a good experience, she was told, you’ll learn new things. How could a child who loves learning new things refuse to go to the one place she’s told will teach her? Excited by the possibility this child looks forward to the experience, the new information, without really knowing what exactly she’s getting herself into.
