STREET CRED(CHARACTER HISTORY)
With every seed that is planted a fate must grow, however at the mercy of how you cultivate to that plant will define the heart of its tenacity. Born onto Kumogakure in the Chikyuhito sect was a simple chocolate skinned baby named Namazu. A son of Kumo, a second child to Muneyoshi and Oka, as well as another blessing from Mother Eseasar. Life for the most part was pretty normal in the early stages for baby Namazu. The only cause for concern really was the myopia he was plagued with, but square-rimmed corrective lenses would be his cure. Early on Namazu received an abundant amount of nurture and care from different kindred places without fear of the well ever drying up. Even with his duties as a shinobi of cloud, Muneyoshi found time to do his fatherly business. For his first child was a girl named Bunko who surprisingly went on to be a successful shinobi, and she had made him extremely proud. Yet for a man there is nothing like having a son, and he wanted to be sure to mold him into a morally upstanding man no doubt, but more than anything else he wanted to be sure to make him into a powerful individual and for his son to be greater than he ever was or would be. So he showed his son love, but it was a calloused love that would sprout a self-sufficient might.
Namazu as a baby displayed a natural talent for coordination when he walked at the tender survival of six months. It wasn't exactly seen as a premonition, but the action wasn't discredited either and served as hint to his affinity for taijutsu. A couple of years had slipped away and Namazu had developed into quite the eccentric toddler. It was evident even in his younger years he was cool or what today's generation classifies as having swag. Around this time Namazu directly showed an interest in the shinobi world but little did he know his life would drastically be changed and it was due to this budding curiosity.
Four years down the line it had begun. What is
IT exactly? The rite of passage that every Chikyuhito takes prior to starting their journey before they enroll in the Kumogakure shinobi academy. Namazu's generation would consist of fourteen children and for the next four years Namazu along with his cousins underwent a basic training process that eventually would eliminate the weak until only the strong survived. Each of the four backbreaking years was a struggle for Namazu as he was separated from his family in the process. No longer could he borrow strength from them, not even his own father who was one of the instructors provided comfort. So Namazu developed over the span of time an inner strength called a will, he had become what he likes to call lionstrong. A individual that could endure the hardships of failure, and he developed a confident independence that he flexed like a healthy matured muscle. Also during that lapse of life the Kyoujouran blood had made its presence known through Namazu and at the end of it all, only three weapons were forged out of the fourteen that had started. Among those three Namazu stood tall, and stood with a strong since of pride.
Now at the age of ten Namazu had to assimilate back into the life of a normal Kumogakure citizen and it was not that difficult of an adjustment. He was elated to once again be reunited with his mother, and for months he had resented his father. It wasn’t until his sister told him that despite how it looked, externally his father did have a deep entrenched love for him and the reason for such a cold shoulder was to make him stronger. That’s when he was enlightened to the philosophy of necessary evil, and she further went on to explain that it’s kind of what a shinobi is defined as.
During all this emotional juggling, during life. Namazu was attending Kumogakure shinobi academy where he showcased his skills as a shinobi very well. Socially among his peers he thrived and the black frame glasses of the cocoa skinned kissed boy was standout in terms of appearance and swag. It was throughout this time the boy developed into the cool young hipster that he is today, and urbanized the traditional shinobi culture. In three years Namazu grinded and graduated from the academy nearly at the top his class, his strong Doton affinity, combined with his taijutsu prowess made him quite the formidable shinobi so much so he was recruited to become a AiT.
He quickly found out that the path to becoming a fully fledged Anbu is a difficult one, and after two years he is growing to have doubts if this is the correct path. This brings us to the present and although he is struggling with finding his way his father taught him that doubt is the birth of failure.
