Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had taken little time for the Sage to find out a general idea of who the players in the region were. Of those he was able to gleam information from there was one that drew his attention in particular. Apparently there was an ambitious faction that had been gaining quite the reputation. He couldn't resist a meeting with these individuals. Between some yen, his clans sake & his general ominous presence there was little resistance when it came to his attempts to garner a deeper understand of his newfound curiosity. Clan Gekido it seemed functioned much like his own clan. Something he needed to see for his own eyes. After all in all his time there had been few families that possessed the conviction for such ambitions. With a few seals a Crystal Eye was conjured & ascended into the air above him. Using it to survey the Casino they had chosen to use. It seemed there was little security for the business & it seemed closed. Perhaps they lacked the capabilities to function all hours of the day. If so they were missing out on a significant sum of money. Patrons such as the ones his enterprises drew cared not for the time of day, only desiring to fulfill their desires.

While performing a perimeter check he noticed quite the interesting individual enter the building. He waited momentarily for any signs of chaos ensuing. But there was nothing at least he knew it would not be empty. Another set of handseals and the Sage was engulfed in Shadow Garbs. Tangible Darkness that coated the user. It allowed him to slip through the building undetected, at least to his knowledge. Using his Chakra Sense jutsu he followed the path of individual who had entered before him. Faint remnants of her chakra remained & it only further fueled his curiosity. That was when he felt them, the presence of those along the stairs & further inside the establishment. Dropping his Shadow Garb he couldn't help but catch the last bit of dialogue from the individual who preceded him. No doubt by now they all would of felt his presence.

Like the unease that runs down your spine when an unexpected chill rolls across the nape of your neck. The sense as if some was incredibly wrong. An entity of unnatural corruption, one who defied the natural order of the world. "Now what kind of a deal is that?" the words would escape his lips in response to the kunoichi who had preceded him. A rhetorical question as he climbed the stairs, the sound of his Geta now clear with each step. "They prostrate themselves before you in the hopes of mercy or die for being who they are." he would say chuckle at the thought of what he would do in such an option. "Either you're a fool or a liar. Anyone who would risk taking such individuals back. Under the same chains of authority they so blatantly ignore & expecting it to change is a fool." when he finished speaking he had reached the top of the stairs. Long white hair that ran past his waist flowed over his form. He wore a the equivalent of Anbu combat gear under his robes. All kinds of instruments were hidden on the chance that he needed it. Being an Anbu had taught him that much.

Those emerald eyes of his slid over the group before him as he spoke once again. "Or perhaps you lie & you simply want to be able to handle them discreetly. Away from prying eyes...if that were the case. It'd make you almost as much of a monster as myself." a sinister chuckle would escape his form, building into an almost maniacal laugh. "Where are my manners?" he would casually say before giving a theatrical bow to the group before him. "Miroku Akkuma, a pleasure to make your acquaintances." he gave them all a grin full of devilish mischief when he finished his introduction. "You may find yourself surprised by just how wrong you are about the villages & how they treat individuals of alternative lifestyles." Akkuma said the statement with the confidence of an individual who knew what he was talking about. He would run a hand through his hair pushing it out of his face. If they looked closely they would see the numerous scars that littered his body. One would be right in thinking one should be dead if they had faced such wounds. But death was not the end.

"There are those who are willing to die for their beliefs...those of conviction like myself. In my time I've found death is only inescapable for those unwilling to pay the cost." his words would reveal much about the individual he was. There would be little doubt that the newcomer was not someone to be underestimated. What better way to make an appearance in his eyes. Little did he know the Hokage was present, then again it would not be the first time he had gone against a Kage. In his experience villages cared not for age or experience when it came to punishing those that defied their authority. "What a shame & such terrible shortsightedness it would be to remove assets such as these from your repertoire." he would finish with this statement & his emerald eyes would rest upon the woman who had given the children their fate sealing questions. How would they respond with a mysterious individual like himself? The Sage would seem unphased by the rather unique appearance of the individual. Such matters were second hand to one such as himself. Although he was trying to behave himself more these days, his curiosity & devilish nature still got the best of him.

Takeshi wandered back to the barstool as he looked towards Zaruto making sure that they all understood that they had the situation under control, it seemed that this conversation was going well all said and done as he grabbed a bottle from the bar and poured himself another glass full of drinks. He knew full well that the team had their orders, that was until the door came smashing in as he looked towards it seeing what could be considered an angry Asuka he looked towards the woman. He had seen her like this before, this wasn't really a surprise as he looked towards the others making sure to keep them calm his eyes locked back onto the Hokage as he listened to her words. As he sat there listening to what could be considered the ramblings of someone that was enraged.

"I simply was meeting some friends for a few drinks dear Hokage, after all, they were trying to hunt down some missing Ninja that had recently hit the gates, I must admit I am not sure who that person is after all students don't get a bingo book do they, and I just wanted to have a few drinks with some of my friends. I see no harm in this meeting happening."

As he listened to Asuka talk about the choices they had made, it seemed that she had been listening but this could be plied off for each of them being innocent, after all, he was right none of them would have known he was the true missing and he wanted to keep the group from taking any harm or punishment for his actions, while the meeting was not on the up and up he still had a lot more work to carry out and would rather not have any collateral damage happen in the form of academy students.

"A leader as always is something that leads, I mean you are considered a leader. I am a leader if you consider this Casino which I run being quite the up market place. This place has just had huge renovations to it and brings all the crowds into this place. But I digress yes I am the leader of the casino you caught me, in this situation is I charging you for the door now or do I just send a letter to your office, it seems you are quick to reply to the letters after all."

He had a smirk on his lips, as he picked up the glass and took a sip from the clear liquid inside feeling the burning sensation on the back of his throat as he maintained eye contact with the Hokage who was now currently talking about punishments for all those that were here, and the fact that leaf would track them. At best this was a wild call to make real on the behalf of the Hokage, as he sat there still looking at her in the seat opposite him to where she sat. It was clear that they still had a few options in front of them to take. but things would get a little bit hasty as he noticed the presence of another, lurking just out of his reach. Nobu was snapped back to the reality by the name for him, he laughed slightly at it as he appreciated the sentiment of the words that had been given.

"Belial, a nice touch if I must say so myself, but not quite right for me in this situation I am afraid."

Leaning over the glass he reached out and grabbed two more glasses from under the bar before putting them on the side of the bar, undoing the cap of the drink he poured the clear liquid into the glass and let it settle there in total now three glasses sat ready for people to drink from and one was already in the hand of Nobu. Listening to the words that he was speaking about taking the group fo students back in he knew full well that the situation was turning, he sensed that from the man. Nobu knew the presences he felt, it was one of his own kind, that was a risk, and right now the man aura showed that he was simply stronger. A fact that even Nobu wasn't stupid enough to decline the facts when it was in front of him. Listening to the man with the manners he nodded back as a name was given.

"Nice to meet you Miroku Akkuma, I myself am the owner of this fine establishment Yamanaka Nobu, and I am sure no introduction is needed to this lady, this is the Fifth Hokage, Asuka"

His hand gestured out towards one of the glasses that sat on the bar as he made eye contact with Akkuma, the man now had a name one that he would store inside of his memory. Turning his attention towards Asuka he made sure that she had the same offer as well of the second glass, hell she probably needed it to take this very unsettling edge that she appeared to be having. As he listened to the man talk, he seemed to speak from a man of the world that was some experience that Nobu would require and need. He wondered if the subtle hint would get across to the newer man as he pressed out the Aura of his own though a lot weaker. As he watched the two higher Shinobi like a hawk.

"I believe we can settle things in a civilized manner for all of us, as such I believe the confused students should be allowed to leave, after all it's clear this is out of their league and I don't think anyone wants that blood on their hand. So I would kindly ask you four to leave us to talk. More of a get out right now if you will"

It was clear in the subtle wording that Nobu had made this a direct order to each of them, he didn't want any of them to be around right now to be caught in the crossfire if things went south. After all, he was only setting things into motion now, he knew that no matter what happened Zatoru would be around to take up the mantle if he fell today. As he leaned back and took another sip of the drink he looked towards Asuka and Akkuma.

"So let's settle this the old fashioned way, Akkuma how can we help today? it's nice to see a man in the travelling world join us. But a man that travels always has a plan in mind and to come to create a city is always an interesting place."

Before addressing Asuka he smiled at the girl, it wasn't hated, it wasn't raging it was simply kindness in his smile as he looked towards the Hokage.

"I deviated from the plan slightly, I couldn't go around and do what must be done wearing the headband of a Leaf Shinobi, that had to change, the plan and the promise remain the same, I just cannot associate you with what is needed to be done. I don't believe in dragging someone's name through the mud for the sake of it, I am sure you don't want Leaf to be pulled into Wars, Deaths and suffering for what must be done, as such I took away that option for you to make Asuka. I am sorry for that, but you cannot punish others for the choices I make. I expected better from you since our last talk, I hoped for more, I hoped you would understand why I did this, it was all for not allowing anything to come back to Leaf."

Taking a sip from the glass he nodded letting the students know it was time to go as he sat there waiting to see how the two Shinobi went from here, things where getting interesting it seemed and this conversation between the three of them should be just that between the three of them.

There was much going on... but before many people could even do or react, something came barging through the door. His own gaze narrowed as he studied the movements. He had never seen a person like this, but seeing the gaze from Nobu made him sit back in the seat yet he held his guard up. If needed... he could attempt his trick with the dummy again... But unknowing how that would pack out. He looked towards the others as he heard the female talk. 'Hold up... that flashy flat-chested person is that same annoying busty Hokage..? Duuude... this doesn't make any sense... I get people to say drop the balls but this is quite literal speech!' He would sigh a little as he started to lean on the side soon found himself leaning on his hand as he listened on.

It was one of the first times he kept quiet in a situation like this, but it felt to him that it was easier to keep his mouth shut. But then another person came in and he would keep his guard up. Nobu seemed to play very well in this situation... And he knew, with his personality, he could make this go all to flame if he just opened up his mouth once. Miro, his contract, even started to warn the red-head that he should stay low at a time like this otherwise he would hurt him.

At a certain point, he noticed Nobu nodding and he thought this was his best queue to get out of this situation before he would blow it up one way or another. He would grab his fedora, make a bow to Nobu, eyed Akkuma before he would smirk and walk to the door. Leaving and kind of giving the way for the others to follow along.

Sorry Akkuma! I really liked your post.
Sorry Asuka! I did like you post though!

Her question, it seemed, would remained unanswered as they were rudely interrupted back the sound of wood splintering as the front door to the Casino came crashing into the bar area the visage of the Fifth Hokage shortly following behind it. She looked different to the pictures that Sumiko had see of her and the feeling from the Charka that she was admitted was intense however to the girl it was clear that she was putting all of this on for show, she was looking to frighten who she saw as children, it was just a shame for Asuka that Sumiko didn’t frighten easily.

Sumiko took a step back from Nobu and the ruins of the door closer towards Za as she listen to Asuka.speak, her words made the girls blood boil, it was not the contents of them it was that brought the girls ire, it was the way she spoke down to them like they were naive children, she knew better to then to speak so she bite her younger clenched her fist hard her nails digging into her palms drawing blood, she wanted more then anything to bring Asuka down and peg or two, however she was not stupid, the last thing that any of them needed was a target on their backs, that just left the other option to bow before this women and begged for forgiveness, Sumiko would never bow before Asuka, not before and certainly not now.

The mood in the room changed again with the addition of uninvited but not so unwelcome guest, he called himself Miroku Akkuma and while he didn’t outwardly seem like a hostile entity he certainly seemed like a man that you didn’t want to cross or owe a favour to but right now he was a welcome ally. Sumiko listen to them speak remaining quite until Nobu made a request fro them to leave, she knew that there was a reason that he was asking them to go but at the same time she new that there was one of them that wouldn’t go so willing, she looked over at Za, he was in no condition to fight and he was stubborn enough to stay, she was Za read to drag him out of there if she needed to.

”I know that you are thinking about not leaviung him but please my love, don’t. I don’t want to I lose you here” She grabbing him by the arm pulling him lightly as she headed out of the Casino

As quickly things would seemingly get better, they would take a turn for the worst, but Za was still a bit hazy, almost like he was in some sort of dream. There was definitely something going on with the chakras that were coming into their location, but Za would feel the need to know something was up before it happened. He had a nose for the damned things that would come up against them. Maybe that would hinder him in this moment because he was completely unaware of his direct surroundings now. Attempting to stay strong even as the pain could be felt in his legs, they were obviously shaking as he attempted to hold himself up.

"...L-..Lady Asuka...", Za would state as she would enter, but his voice was slurred, not afraid. Hell if they were to fight her now, maybe they would die, but they would definitely go down swinging, that however, wasnt the only thing. Nobu would begin talking about an Akkuma. Who was the silver haired woma-...was it a woman? Or a man? Maybe they were related to Sumiko, pretty as they maybe, they had a smell about them when they entered the room that made Za wince a bit. It wasnt bad... it was just... different.

Za looked to Nobu standing up straight and rolling his shoulders back before Sumiko would tug on him and speak, he wouldnt leave Nobu, but Nobu's words rang within him, but it wasnt smart to leave the guy alone with Asuka who said she was so kill him and another whom they'd just met. Maybe there was going to be something else that would allow them to move along, but Za wasnt about to, and yet, as Sumiko spoke Za felt like he would have no other choice. He wasnt in fighting shape, especially after getting that glass to the back of his head and receiving the Cursed seal.

"...Fine...", he'd say reluctantly before turning and eyeing Asuka once more before they'd head out of the Casino...

Shun jumped a bit when the door slammed open, never one for loud noises. He calmed his breathing as Nobu addressed the two that entered, and Shun worried if his work as the inside man of Leaf would be worthless now that the Hokage knew he was here. Maybe he would just have to work his way into her favor. He needed to assess his hand and play his cards right.

For now, he bowed respectfully to the Hokage and gave a polite wave to the guest that followed in after her, taking his leave when Nobu directed the rest of the clan to do so. "It was a pleasure to see you, Lady Fifth," he spoke with nothing but kindness in his tone. Despite the goals or views of his newfound family, he still held a strong amount of respect for the head of his village. His mother disappeared and his father survived countless deadly missions in service to Leaf, and Shun held that same level of respect for Asuka.

Shun filed out after the others, his eyes finding Nobu's before he looked away to continue his leave. Hopefully their leader would make it out of this encounter alive; all Shun could do now was trust Nobu's vision.

Asuka slightly turned her head towards the new comer. Listening to the words he spoke, Asuka didn't respond. It was fascinating how people spoke without thinking, without listening to their own words. She didn't care about what he was saying. She didn't really pay much attention to it. With a sigh she simply shrugged. "Do not patronize me, and do not pretend that your presence is welcomed here."

She shook her head in disappointment as the students left, one after the other. Without even acknowledging her question, without giving an answer. Some got frustrated, some were clearly angry but not one said a word. A simple bow, or a respectful address to the Hokage. But that was it, the choice was ignored but Nobu's order was taken to the letter and immediately carried out. That was the worst of it. Not only that... but she felt ignored.

As they left, Asuka's form shivered and shake a bit as she returned to her normal form. She shook her arms as she gave out a unpleasent sigh. It seemed as though they still hadn't made any room. "Spare me your patronizing Nobu." She said seriously with an angry tone. "Not only did you lie to me, but now you're insulting my intelligence." She spoke abruptly "Having a drink with friends... what just happened proved my own suspicion as I walked into the room. So don't you dare insult me by changing the narrative. Not only did you run turning yourself into a criminal but you got the students around your finger like a bandaid, for all I know they are feeding you information. You understand my position here? I can't trust them, I can't be sure that their actions are for the good of the village and not for YOUR interest."

Asuka stood up and walked a bit forward towards Nobu, as she slowly and gently moved the glass that was offered to her away. "Deviated from the plan slightly?" She repeated with a scorned look, kind of a surprise at the audacity of his words. "Have you even thought this through? Do you even hear what's coming out of your mouth?" She said shaking her head slightly. "If you were so interested in protecting me and my name why the hell didn't we discuss it?" She said with a sigh "Why didn't you come to me and simply say 'Hey, excuse me Lady Fifth, I would like to leave the village and do see to personal matters..', 'Hey! I'm gonna run but let's continue a professional channel open.' Why? Why was it so hard to simply talk? You could've come to me at any time. Did I really gave any indication that talking about... anything wasn't in the table." The disappointment in her voice could be felt for miles. "I thought, I genuinely thought that you would be the one who would be my right hand one day. You reminded me of a friend of mine called Yukio, a man who you could trust based solei upon the fact that he was able to call out dishonest actions and give his own input. You knew they were going to be consequences for this actions, and yet you ignored them. You KNEW that there would be consequences for your henchmen, yet you ignored the risk involved for them. And know I'm faced with the difficult decision of how to proceed with this endeavor. What would your suggestion be?"

The Sage smiled as his arrival received a mixed reception. Much information was revealed by the group. It seemed this was his first time meeting a Hokage. Not only that but he seemed to have walked in on her confronting one of the Gekido, if he had to guess the Head of their clan. He seemed unbothered by the Hokage's presence giving Akkuma the assumption that she had been expected. Even more curious was that the man before him appeared to be a fellow Sage. Although it was obvious that his skillset was not on the same level as the Half-Demon. Giving a smile to each of the young shinobi as they departed. A chuckle would escape his form as he approached the individual known as Nobu. Accepting the drink that would be extended to him. "I should think that was obvious. I heard about your lovely little enterprise & my curiosity got the better of me. Such devotion from your kin...impressive. What a pleasure this is...I finally get to meet a Hokage. Over the years I've kept the company of Mizukage, Raikage, Kazekage & Tsuchikage." his words would be casual & business-like as he moved to take a seat. As if he were rattling off a resume to those in the room.

Those emerald eyes of his held Asuka in his gaze as she spoke to Nobu. She was hurt that much was obvious perhaps that was why she overlooked the obvious benefits of severing ties with one another. If their bond was truly that strong it would only be something that could be weaponized against them. Nobu spoke of a 'plan' as if it were some great world altering agenda. Lady Asuka seemed as if she did not accept the reasoning of his words. "Disregard my council if you wish. But the Fates have rarely been kind to the Kage foolish enough to do so." he would say with a devilish grin. Akkuma had indeed dealt with many of the Great Nations Leaders, some more intimately then others. Countless individuals had sought his services & the Nations had benefited from his experience. A Veteran shinobi who's candor would've gotten him killed if he'd lacked the skill set & luck to survive.

"Nobu I believe you may have to address the hurt Lady Asuka is feeling. I doubt we can conduct any business until you've done so." more unasked for advice from the Sage as he sipped from the drink he'd been given. His candor would only serve to further push the message he was not to be underestimated or disregarded so quickly. For over three decades he'd been a prominent individual who specialized in the darker arts in the world. Someone who's reputation was not to be taken lightly. This Hokage clearly overestimated the bond they possessed with the other villages & how they treated deserters of other nations. Almost as if the value such individuals possessed had not been thought apart. Many of his peers had traveled with ease through the great nations & unhindered. Even his own exploits had rarely been hindered or opposed. An individual with a monstrous reputation & unwavering will to complete his objectives.

(OOC: Aw bye little shinobi! Whoop Akkuma has finally met a Hokage. xD That's all the Kage from the Great Nations. I mean he'd technically met Umashi but he was unconscious for that so doesn't count. *eats popcorn while Akkuma drinks*)

Nobu sat there in his seat as it seemed that the others had got the message and left that had been the first thing that had gone his way in a while it seemed. He knew full well that with them out of the way this would make life a lot easier. As he listened to the words that Asuka gave the speech she tried to give, as he pondered the best reply it seemed that first Akkuma would be speaking as he informed Nobu that once his conversation if you could call it that was sorted with Asuka he would discuss business, this did perk the interest of the younger Shinobi as he nodded his head in agreement with the man.

"I can understand Akkuma, I will get someone to come and find you when our talk here is done, please just have a look round this wonderful Creater city and I will get someone to come and find you as soon as I can, don't expect any delay on the matter as I do take your visit and business with great importance. Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter, I appreciate your time and what it is worth"

Nobu turned to Asuka as he slides a glass over to her as well as gesturing behind the bar, knowing that this conversation would not be an easy one by any means he swished what remained of the liquid in the glass with little effort before pouring himself another as he looked towards Asuka, so many things to say to one person. If he was being honest with himself he hated it, but he understood the need for those words, and even the butterflies that rattled in his stomach showed that he needed to speak to her. As he looked into her eyes the words of disappointment cutting at him as he showed weakness at that moment.

"We both know that if we discussed it, I would have never left, and all the actions I took, everything I did would have brought hell to pay to Leaf. Gave you some hellish nickname, and brought you suffering and pain Asuka, that is just not something I could risk, you have done good would be thrown into the mud with your name, the respect that you have with your Sennin destroyed, tell me Asuka all your hard work, but getting your hands this dirty, throwing all that progress away how would you feel waking up each day knowing that you will always be remembered for the worst, and all the good you did not matter to the people. No, your fair to the precious jewel in this world to be covered in that mud, shine for the good, not for the smell of the bad."

Nobu paused slightly as he took another drink from the glass, he felt the alcohol in his blood and had realized that sitting here for so long drinking must not have been the best for him honestly. But he was past the point of turning back, both of them had to know the truth on how this would work, and even he was going to be open about the matter.

"I was never dishonest with you, I did not tell you what I was going to do because I knew how you would stop me. Let's not pretend it would have gone any differently, shall we? We both know I wouldn't have gone, if I could have a lifetime at your side I would have done it. But this way it's protecting you and honestly, I wish you could see the truth of my actions."

Nobu sighed slightly as he pondered really how to get his point across, he had played with words, he had done what he thought was the best for both of them and right now he needed to get all of that across to Asuka. He understood and knew that much, as he looked at the woman in front he admired her beauty even with anger she had a glow to her that was something most men would kill to see. Leaning against the bar he looked around at the work that he had done to improve this establishment. Not to mention the information that had been coming into this place.

"Henchmen such a strange wording for each of them, I wanted a team to help expand the intelligence we both wanted, I found those and they are in my clan. They help both of us the way I see it, lets be honest we both know that working this way allows us access to other villages. I mean Akkuma is proof of that, he has allowed me to start a business discussion and with that would come expansion. I know it's not always what you want to hear, and not want to see but this way is working Asuka, the information we are having is working for both of us and benefits everyone. We are making Creater City better, people happier, money goes back into the city to help the homeless, it goes back into the village for the same reason, its all to help those that need it the most."

"I can do what you want, I can continue to expand this information keep Leaf informed with the entire world operations. Keep everyone informed, make the profits, churn the numbers and everything goes well. Including putting back into sorting this city out into our home of operation, of course this does mean that I do need to stay where I am Asuka. Though with our constant meetings I am sure I can keep you company. But besides that point the benefits of doing it this way outway the small problems it created, we both know I'm right, but I fully admit that I went around it the wrong way, maybe I am impatient might be something I have to admit to. I will of course need removing from your bingo book, and a freeway inside and out of Leaf without any issues, however as Hokage I am sure you could do that much."

Clasping his hands together in front of him and looking Asuka in the eyes he smiled gently towards her as he left his future, and trustfully into her hands.

"Or arrest me, drag me to the Anbu area, and no doubt I will be tortured and executed for my crimes against the village. Just know the one thing I don't regret to this day was that kiss I shared with you, hell probably got me in trouble but that was the purest moment of honesty I have had towards you Asuka. So do what you will now"

Unfortunately, she still couldn't read the man. It seemed as though it would be a while before she fully understood him. But she still remained hopeful that the conversation would turn into something fruitful. She just hoped he wouldn't continue trying to keep things from her. Things that involved her village, that came into conflict with her duty as Hokage.

"My hands are already dirty." She spoke, a bit of a harsh tone in her voice. "The line of work I'm in doesn't accept clean hands. You keep talking about dirtying my name because of your actions. It doesn't matter. None of it matters. I'm already dirty, I already have things that I would rather forget. And really? You're the one who keeps talking about MY reputation but nothing adds up. Telling me you were leaving wasn't gonna do anything to me. You know what I think? I think if you had talked to me you would have stayed. Which makes it worse." She spoke, finally her emotional side showing. She still felt she could trust him but she still had her reservations. Had her doubts and she hated it. Hated having doubts. Like a dagger in her heart just making her think the wrong things.

"Us? We?" Asuka gave out a laugh as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "You truly are the best salesman. Talking about grandeur and things WE could accomplish with the right tools, or rather the right people. Let's start with Akkuma then. I don't know who he is, for all I know his a spy from frost inching his way closer to the kunai his hiding to assasinate me. Exaggerated but it proves my point." She continued with a sigh "I got no control in what you're pitching. None. If things start to go south and I "pull the plug" things will stay the same because I don't have a backdoor. For all I know you'll spy on Leaf while spying on other villages, giving everyone the run around while you fill your pockets and basically control the flow of information making you the extremely powerful. Do you understand what you're saying to me? The amount of risk the village would take by simply considering your proposal."

Asuka gave exhaled loudly once she heard his last sentences. "Do not even try and go lovey dovey on me. That kind of thing feels like emotional blackmail so don't even try it." Her words carried immense anger but underneath it all she knows his right. It was a pure moment.

The Sage sat there listening to the conversation being had by the two before him. It had become more then apparent there relationship went beyond that of friendship. There was a bond between the two & Nobu had been making the same mistakes the Half-Demon had in his youth. Even though she was clearly hurt it seemed Lady Asuka still wished to salvage their bond. Though they both made valid points on the scoreboard of this dispute the Hokage had the lead. While his fellow Sage showed his inexperience & arrogance. Yet another trait that reminded him of his days as a younger shinobi. Their conversation had reached a point where the Sage could no longer remain silent. "I really must interject at this point." his words would perhaps remind them that he was still there & listening to this matter.

Downing the contents of his drink before continuing on his eyes resting on Nobu first. "Time & experience will show you how wrong you were with some of those statements. Yet there is wisdom in some of what you did." he would calmly say as he withdrew a wooden pipe from his robe pocket, along with a small container of his personal herbal mixture. His emerald eyes would shift from Nobu to Asuka as he said his next words. "If you truly know him I suspect you knew this moment was coming." he would say as he packed the end of the pipe with the mixture & snapped his fingers igniting the contents with a small flame. Taking in a deep breath of the smoke he would savor the taste of the herbs & the aroma it produced. After doing this he began to run through some handseals calmly. His form shifting to that of Kasumi Masa, repeating the same seals his form would shift to that of Hayate Shin. Again he would do this cycling on through to Kogami Ayumu, Takahashi Sousuke & Sunahoshi Katsuo.

Dropping the jutsu he would speak once more. "You two can either learn from what I say next or risk walking the same path as others before you have." there was a somberness to his voice that was undeniable. "Know that no matter which path you walk there will be pain for you both. The Fates have at least been kind. You are shinobi & we endure." as he said these words he stood taking another lungful of the pipes contents. The smoke danced around his robed form as he moved to behind the bar to become the bartender. Making himself at home he would pour himself & the others a refill if needed. "Nobu if you're going to enter this lifestyle you're going to need someone to show you the way of things. Know that no matter the motivation your actions will eventually bring pain to those you care about. It is one of the inevitable truths of those who walk our path. Perhaps if you are taught the self-awareness to perceive such emotional influences you won't make the same mistakes I did in my youth. Lady Asuka whichever path you take from here, will burden your heart. Anyone you confide in will be a potential loose end or weakness. You will need someone though so choose wisely. In my experience those well suited to the Anbu Branch are often...more open minded to such lifestyle choices." the smoke would snake around him as he spoke. Once more he would run through a series of handseals this time creating a Black Blockade perimeter around them. It was an Anbu Jutsu which would only speak further onto his background.

"I've often found it more prudent to have such conversations with guaranteed privacy. Lady Asuka I'm sure you possess the authority to authorise any operation you deem fit. I don't take you as the type to play ignorant to the operations of branches such as the Anbu. It seems like dear Nobu hear you to are letting your emotions guide your thought." that sinister smile was upon his face once more. "I'm sure we're all mature enough to understand & acknowledge that the preservation of the shinobi way...requires a willingness to do what is necessary. Villages have the Anbu but they also use rogue elements such as myself & Nobu. The potential benefits of the arrangement you two find yourself in...has few limitations when it comes to potential. So long as you both possess the conviction to do what is needed. I suspect you both do..." his words were true & it took only rudimentary influence to begin to hear the whispers of such events.

"What a fiasco this is. Imagine the whispers if this place isn't half destroyed by the time you leave here Lady Asuka. Unless your Anbu are inept or corrupt I suggest we get this all moving along. Before I hear any offers I'll make this clear. Any aggression towards Sunagakure will be dealt with extreme prejudice...it is my territory. You may conduct business there & I will provide you with all the necessary information needed to get started. My services come at a cost & I do not mean one of financial currency." his words were business-like & collected. Yet the aura that emanated from him was abundant with an almost indescribable chaos. Almost as if the calm & collected individual were almost a conduit for it. In the depths of his emerald eyes there was an insatiable hunger, for everything. An unrelenting drive to be in the midst of chaos. Here he once more found himself at the precipice of another potentially world altering deal. It would be one of his final pieces in regards to stretching his influence to all of the Shinobi Villages. Yet he would still not be satisfied with this. No he needed more if his Empire was to rise & he would need allies like this Gekido Clan. After all he'd often found that individuals who lived outside the constraints placed upon them by society were less prone to prejudices against his kind.

It was a three-way conversation that was going well in the eyes of the younger man, as he could tell that Akkuma was interested in all of this, even giving life advice for someone so much older and more experienced. Nobu had to admit the insight was actually helpful with life and he accepted it for what it was just a friendly piece of advice currently and nothing more, there were no demands to it, no outlandish claims in the words he was using. Just words from someone that had experienced it all before as Nobu considered each of them he replied to Akkuma first, after all his mind was still formulating the correct response that Asuka deserved and even he knew that much.

"I understand that the path I am walking will be covered with pain and it will not be an easy one, I knew that from the day I decided to walk this path. It seems that I am already bringing Pain to people that I care about Akkuma with my most recent actions. And you are right, I have a lot of learning and understanding to do about the world. I need to understand so much more than what I currently do and without this experience, things won't change will they, I guess?"

Nobu took a sip from his drink as he made eye contact with Asuka, normally one to never show emotion at that moment the flash of sadness shot across his face. It was a microsecond enough to even doubt it had been there before the clam and collect face came back that was normally more well known by everyone. As he leaned back the stool creaked slightly as the two of them listened to Akkuma speaking first knowing that this was the real way the world works.

"Us Rouge elements as you so politely put it can do things that villages can not, even the ANBU have their limits. We unshackle ourselves from those limits, slip-free the dogs of war so to speak and do what is required. Believe my words when I say this to you Akkuma, I have the determination and conviction to do what must be done no matter the cost of the goal. I will achieve what has to be achieved, and do so the way that only we, those outcast or those that broke free from a village can do it."

He didn't blink an eye at the announcement that Akkuma the man standing in the room was like him, a wanderer without a place to call home so much as a place he could sleep. Quite an interesting fact actually one that he made a note of quickly and without any hesitation. It seemed that this conversation was at a point where he could discuss offers on the table and speak about what was really going to happen moving forward. Asuka seemed to speak about her hands being dirty, and even her words that stung to him, a blade in the chest that twisted as the truth came out between them.

If he talked to Asuka he would have stayed.

She had no idea just how true that was, how much pain him walking away had cost him, and right now how much he was willing to do for her. as he sighed to himself and looked to Akkuma and back to Asuka he wondered if his words would just sink into her, the calm demeanour of the man showed that he was not here to fight and he hadn't come for that reason. No aggression at all just a clam tone right here between them. As he pondered for a few seconds, he took the time to calculate the next words very carefully as he knew it would give both of them the option they wanted, and give Asuka the control she wanted as well a tighter leash on Nobu so to speak.

"Then I suggest something that links both the Clan to Leaf, Leaf to the Clan. Simple really, this way we have the connection that neither of us can act without the other knowing. And no harm can come to Leaf or the Clan, its a perfect position of balance really. It gives you more control over our actions as well which is what you want, and the promise that Leaf will not be harmed in the actions we take. I think its a win for you Asuka. Of course with an offer like this on the table, one that is all about control. A return in that faith would be needed. Your hand in an arranged marriage to myself. Put yourself in a position that is unknown to you, have faith that both sides will help each other. Accept this offer of marriage, and I swear the Geikodo clan will never turn against Leaf. But we expect amnesty for being rouge Shinobi, safe travel and in return, you have me at your side when required, and support of the clan financially and information-wise."

Turning his attention back to Akkuma he looked the man up and down and pondered for a few minutes, such a tempting offer, Suna opened to his clan with no hassle at all, how could this luck have just walked in here without any reason. No Akkuma had sought them out, he had come to them, he knew probably all there was to know about who he was dealing with, he was a smart man from his words and with that came always a plan behind a plan. Things would have to be worth it for a pack to be signed between the two groups.

"So we place our cards on the table Akkuma, a deal for all here and all involved in this. I think its fair to say that the deals and offers provided from each side should be amicable on all parties. So I guess the options I am throwing out are as follows take them as you want, and consider what you want in return. I purpose the following:

Konaha is not to be touched, in return Sunagakure is not to be touched
Profit is shared by 33% for all businesses we open in Sunagakure with yourself
Aid when called for by the Clan, Visa Versa
Use of all Clan Facilities in any village we expand into
Information freely shared with yourself
I want, 1 Casino, 2 Bars, 1 Springs set up inside Suna
Access to your establishments as well accessible
An introduction to allow Clan travel in and out of Sand

These are my cards on the Table Akkuma, what do you want to swap or offer in return, what are you desire with this deal?"

Nobu would wait patiently for the reply wondering just how much expansion the Clan could make with one man, he pushed for most he would dream of wondering if this was actually possible or just another man coming to claim he could make the impossible happen.

Asuka listened to the words given by the mercenary Akkuma. She couldn't deny that it had some wisdom in it although it had a very one dimensional view of the world. It reminded her of her childhood. How hard things could come for someone based on situations that weren't in their control. Or rather, choose the wrong choice.

"We've all lived through different situations that have made us become who we are. The positions that were entrusted to us are heavy and deemed necessary for the success of each of our goals. But in the end, someone always gets hurt. Whether intentional or not nobody thinks about the casualties that are left behind, left to fend for themselves." She sighed "But in any case, that's not the main point of the conversation."

She clenched her fists. "Limits have to be placed to keep things from going out of control. Limits are there to differentiate us from just normal beasts. I don't appreciate it looking as if it doesn't have a purpose. I would rather have limits and do something that can be avoided simply for the ideal that it's the easiest choice."

Asuka listened to Nobu's words, how could someone give so much? What would the price exactly be. And a big prize indeed it was. Holding a hand to her mouth Asuka held a laugh. This kid really was something. The audacity of the offer was appalling, insulting, it went against what was just spoken since it literally shackled her into a commitment based solei upon words.

The old Asuka would have not only refused the offer but basically destroyed the whole establishment in her emotional range. But her years as management, under Takeshi has taught her that the job came with benefits. But it also came with cost. Her mentors had always told her that their would be a time where she would make a decision that could affect thousands. A decision that would test her conviction upon the world. This, tested her duty to her village. She could attack Nobu and kill him, in return his clanmates might cause havoc in the village out of revenge. She could simply refuse, negotiating something else but at the risk of backfiring. The current offer would come at a cost for both, but would benefit both. "Gotta admit." She spoke "I didn't expect you had it in you. You might as well understand." She sighed scratching the back of her head. "A great cost for a great benefit." She shook her head "You truly have a way of placing people against a rock and a hard place." She sighed as she slowly walked forward, staring right into Nobu's eyes. "Fine. I accept. And to commemorate the memorial." Raising her hand she delivered a hard slap against Nobu's cheek. "That's for taking the choice from me." She grabbed his collar and pulled him forward, pressing her lips against his for a couple of seconds. "And that's to sign it off." She turned around and started to walk off. A bit flustered, not turning her head she stopped. "We'll talk details at the mansion. Gotta see what punishment to give your clanmates for ignoring their Hokage." She gave a slight sigh "I'll see you later. Nice meeting you Akkuma, hope we meet in a more... professional circumstance."

Akkuma would bow his head to Nobu. "At least you possess the wisdom to accept such council Lord Nobu. I cannot boast I'd have done the same while in your position." with a smile he would take a sip of his drink. Wondering how Nobu would react to such a title but given the rank of his betrothed that was the appropriate title to address him by. Listening even further to the exchange between the two. It seemed young Nobu certainly have a plan for taking care of the difficulties facing them. The Hokage & Nobu made their own deal. "Ah the greatest foundation to marry over...the birth of an Empire." he would say with a chuckle, while they may feel he was joking his words were sincere. The world had been shaped by such arrangements before, it was an undeniable truth to the history of the world. When Lady Asuka went to depart she would find the Black Blockade had intention of letting her pass through it just yet.

"Unfortunately before you depart Lady Asuka I do have a request of you. If it would be something you are comfortable with, I propose a more...active friendship or alliance between the two villages. Not our Nations but the villages. History has taught us too often that we are made the enemy. I'm tired of seeing the villages of shinobi forced to face their threats in solitude. We can end that today. Will you allow me to open official channels for such a discussion?" he would ask her in his business-like manner. Such an action would no doubt garner much influence for the Sage who stood behind the bar, but more importantly it would allow certain agreements to be made between the two villages. Who better to arrange such matters then the being who'd built an Empire on such deals. No doubt Lady Asuka would have some thoughts on the matter or terms that she would want to achieve. Given the arrangement she had just entered such things could have no doubt been discussed through Nobu. Doing this though would ensure that it was known he wanted this arrangement to be official.

Whether she answered or not his jutsu would still resist any attempts to depart even after his words had been spoken. Hoping it was a matter that would at least make her think about a response on the subject long enough for him to respond to the terms laid out before him by Nobu. "Your terms are suitable. I ask for the same terms with the addition note that I will ensure introduction to the necessary parties that will assist you in your endeavors. I have a habit of encountering the right people at the right time. I have Labs & Safe Houses in every Nation except Fire Country I offer assets of such natures not just within Wind Country." he would calmly smile knowing that this deal would very much be everything the young Sage desired. How could he know? Because they had been the same things he'd needed for the foundation of his Empire.

"I ask for certain assurances in regards to the agreements..." with those words he would withdrew from his pocket a scroll. It was very apparent the object was of demonic nature, not that it should have been much of a surprise regarding the fact Akkuma was a Half-Breed. From a small portal he would withdrew a black quill that seemed to hum with unnatural energy. A sinister grin would become quite evident upon his face. "Due to my nature I've found people to require a certain...reassurance themselves that I will maintain my end of the deal. A Demon's Contract is unbreakable, to do so will damn one for all of time." the seriousness of his words would no doubt reinforce any concerns they had about the individual before them. His gaze would shift between both Lady Asuka & Nobu as he waited for one of them to take the quill from his hand.

Nobu finished hearing the words that were spoken by Asuka, a half cocky smile crept across his lips as he understood in that split second that it seemed he was going to be expanding his family after all. It came as a surprise to him just how quickly he had managed to achieve the task but he gave the Hokage little to no choice really in the matter. Even he knew and accepted the fact that he had put her in a no-win situation, she got what she wanted but more importantly, he got what he wanted. Apparently through this would be a slap in the face right now as he rocked from the chair slightly hit by the shock of what had just happened. Suddenly the swing on the stool was stopped as Asuka pulled in and kissed him to seal the deal. He didn't argue against it instead of kissing back before it was finally broken off.

"If that is how we are going to sign off all of our deals consider me happy with the outcome naturally. Don't go too hard on them, after all, they are part of your family you have to remember that one as well dearest Fiancee"

Akkuma seemed to appreciate what had happened as well as he glanced towards the man nodding towards him as a reply to his words about the marriage taking place in front of him. He stopped Asuka to talk to her as Nobu leaned back and listened to the words being spoken about. It was as if the man had a true ambition behind his own, but that was not something that worried He turned his attention back as he wondered how this would transpire but didn't interrupt the reply that Asuka would make, after all, he was well aware that this situation was for her to discuss and to settle. He would do what was required of him and he would of course be able to help where possible.

"Well then, it seems that both of us get what we want, I am sure that we can sort safe houses out from our side and I have no issue with Labs being created in order to achieve a mutual goal between the two of us, as I can understand that to achieve goals and ambitions one must give in order to gain. I can accept that there is always going to be some give and take on that matter."

Running his hand through his hair, feeling it slicking back slightly as he looked towards Asuka and smiled slightly he turned back to Akkuma wanting to make sure that they knew where they stood on the matter and when he would be allowed to travel into Suna. After all, it was the man's territory he would know better than most on the matter of the best time to meet the people that he would be required to interact with. Setting up in locations was half the battle between the two of them even he knew that much.

"I can accept that, a handshake with you there will be easier than on my own. The two people inside of the Clan that this will affect is Zatoru my second in command, a man you will meet one day I am sure. More importantly, I will travel to Suna with Shion the one who will be in charge of the expanse and running of the establishments inside of Suna. I will bring both of them with me, I am sure there is a meeting point before making it to the village that we can use in order to travel inside of the city with ourselves after all?"

He played his cards well as he offered the meeting in return for what he wanted, after all, constant clan efforts would be put in to make sure everything transpired correctly. And to keep the running of the group he needed to keep those informed below him in every aspect, plus a friendly face around the place wouldn't be too bad even he knew that much. Listening to the deal that would need to be signed he stood up looking at the quill. Walking over to the document he looked down at it in those few seconds as he nodded taking the quill gracefully he simply scratched the markings onto it.

Yamanaka Nobu

Turning back to Asuka he handed the quill back to Akkuma waiting to see if she did the same deal, it was an interesting state and offer to be sure, but he had one request of her right now and one that would see him sorted moving forward. As he wandered back to where she stood he looked at her with a smile on his lips, not sarcastic just pleasant.

"My dearest, I also need my name, records expunged from Leaf Bingo Book, and I also require a passport to travel freely without being questioned, we both know these things are in your power to do and I would require the passport sooner just to make sure I don't have any issues with traveling. I am sure you wouldn't want your future husband embarrassed at the gates after all?"

Asuka looked back as she was called by the mercenary. At first thought, she would like to have an agreement with another village. At the very least to meet the person in charge of said village since, although a suitable introduction, the end word ended with the person who was actually able to carry out those words. Turning back she gave Akkuma a smile. "Let the Kazekage send a letter or an envoy with such an interesting proposal." She spoke with giggle "Then we can see what to cook up." This way she could leave the road open for talks but didn't leave anything as a promise. Worst case scenario, nothing happened and she wasn't outright thought of as a liar.

With that she looked back at Nobu, giving him a knowing smile. Kind of a, "You get me, I get you." She knew how the conversation would go, or at least predicted to a certain extent. Having said that, she couldn't have predicted what price she would have to pay but she was willing to pay it. This way the citizens of Leaf were going to not only be safe, but have an advantage in the inteligence race. "You were never in it." She said turning back around, walking away to go back to her duties. "It's all love and games dear." She laughed as she walked out of the room.

Well, this was certainly productive.

Everything was falling into place as the Sage had hoped. In fact the days adventure had proven to be much more productive then he could have hoped. Not to mention the situation he had witnessed unfold between Lady Asuka & Lord Nobu. An interesting development to be sure, it would certainly be something he would keep an eye on. There was no disputing that Nobu would indeed benefit from the Sages company. But perhaps not in the manner in which he would expect, after all his relationship with those in Suna was a complex one. "Indeed there is. We could meet at the Golden Sanctuary, from there I could escort you to the Primus Bulwark. It functions as the Village Gates nowadays." he would calmly say, although he did not elaborate on why he had chosen the Golden Sanctuary. His gaze would shift from Nobu to Lady Asuka her answer to his proposition was one a smart one. Perhaps he had underestimated how much Konoha had lost in past events. Every action they took must project strength. There was still the matter of understanding what the Gekido's agenda was.

"I'll be sure that he does Lady Asuka, it was a pleasure meeting you." the Sage would say with a smile while Asuka & Nobu said their farewells. Once the two Sages were left alone within the Black Blockade Akkuma would let out an audible chuckle. "You're certainly much more ambitious then I had expected." he would calmly say with a devilish glint in his eyes. "I would suggest that you have an establishment in the Golden Sanctuary as well. It's become quite the trading hub. The Merchants Guild runs it, but someone such as yourself should have no issue dealing with them. After all I've yet to have any issues conducting business in their territory." he would say in a business-like manner. Men such as themselves rarely had trouble operating in such areas, if you could operate under the regulation of a village. Then operating in areas that thrived on such immoral services paled in comparison. With the quill in hand Akkuma would sign his own name to the Contract as well. Ensuring they were now bound by the compact, it was a shame he had failed to get the Hokage's signature. But he was sure that the chance for that would one day come & he was a patient being.

The Sage held Nobu in his gaze as he spoke his next words. "Your ties with Lady Asuka will prove quite valuable in your expanse...but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that." he would say with a sinister smile. Running his hand through his hair pushing it from his face revealing his scarred form & a devilish grin. "Perhaps there is hope yet...yes I'm sure you'll prove to be most entertaining." he would say with a chuckle, together they would accomplish great things. "There are others who work within Sunagakure but you should encounter little trouble from those individuals & groups. Should you encounter any who would cause trouble for you. Please do be sure to contact me...I'll be sure to assist you with the matter." Again this was not an issue he had encountered himself but the Sage was being thorough. Covering many of the potential variables or hiccups that might occur during the enacting of their agreement.

"Given your ties to Konoha & the current predicament Sunagakure has found itself in. I'm sure that they will not be so foolish as to jeopardize anything by impeding your Clans efforts." he would say another matter of fact manner, although he did not elaborate on the predicament Sunagakure found themselves in. After all there would be time for discussing such matters on their journey. If pushed on the subject he would elaborate but he suspected Nobu may have other questions for him. In regards to the labs & his other interests. Akkuma had some interesting methods for ensuring his own assets were protected. Even in his absence his assets had thrived after all he had stringent protocols for such situations that had proven effective.

Nobu watched as Asuka left the conversation even he knew and understood that he still had a lot of work ahead of him. As he listened to all the information that was being given to him about Sunagakure he nodded making sure to make a mental note of all of it, after all, information was power in most situation and he wanted to make sure that he had as much power as possible in case he needed to play it. Nobu smiled and nodded happily with the outcome of this conversation as he had understood he had stepped on the toes of the Hokage, but it had worked out well in his favour it seemed.

"Indeed, I will make sure those ties work well after all expansion and profit should be shared by all, there is no point to any of this is the suffering of the lower class continues and never changes, that makes the whole point kind of mute if I just stand by and don't do anything to change situations"

Nobu looked towards Akkuma as he spoke, it was interesting to see the man taking in the world the way he did, he wanted to see the world from such a mans eyes but knew full well that he also would hate to see really what the man was looking for in the world. Though he straightened up slightly again at the Shinobi spoke to him, his eyes never leaving the man as he studied him. After a while Nobu stood from his seat and nodded slightly, it seemed that the world was working in his favour and the timing was becoming perfect for moving forward with the plans of expansion, after all the easier things were to do, the better it was for him to get it processed and sorted.

"Well it looks like everything is working in our favour then, I cannot complain about that at all, I look forward to the trip we will be making of course. I have never been myself you will have to show me the sights that are around, after all, I would like to explore the world as much as possible. So I am sure you will be able to show me all the sights that we can do and what else we can find useful together. But for now one step at a time I am sure you will agree with that one?"

Nobu walked up to the man standing shoulder to shoulder though facing different directions he looked around the Casino floor, with no-one here and the place about to open due to it hitting the lunch rush, that is when that truly involved with gambling would start there day in order to get the machine that they favoured. Of course, Nobu had work to do and this conversation had taken most of the morning. Though it was clear that he had come out with a huge win from his side, with the Clan option to expand further out he wouldn't deny that one.

"Until then I will get things in order from my side and make sure the Clan understands its place, after all, it wouldn't be worth me turning up on my own, so I must put my own plans into motion to make sure that we progress as scheduled. I will meet you at the assigned destination, I am sure you will find me when I arrive, call it a hunch. Until then though, it was a pleasure doing business with you Akkuma."

With that Nobu left the Casino, for now, he knew it wouldn't be long before he met with Akkuma again.

Akkuma would offer no insight into Nobu's words about the ideals he ran by. It would be interesting to see if this was the same model he conducted his business by in the future. At least he seemed to possess the capability to accept the wisdom & perspective of others. It was a strength he more often struggle to possess then the Sage cared to admit. His knew ally responded & he smiled in that uncanny sometimes unnerving manner that was a trademark of his kin. "Naturally, it is the best cause of action to take in such endeavors." he would say in a calm voice, after all to do otherwise relied heavily on ignoring possible variables. To do that in their lifestyle, was often the sign of a short lived organization. An unwillingness to adapt was a weakness that few survived.

Nobu said his final addition to the conversation, combined with a farewell as he no doubt went to continue on with his schemes for the day. Akkuma would smile as he followed in departure. "That I will Lord Nobu...be safe on your journey. Never let your guard down, the Deserts are very much alive with danger. Until our next meeting..." with those words he would depart. There were a few other things that he wished to see before departing this land. After all it was so rare that he found the time to leave his home, it felt like it was always facing some great calamity. But he felt re-assured by the knowledge that he knew those that were defending it. Just in case he wouldn't linger too long & with that thought he vanished in a blink.

Keenly off to see the landmarks he'd heard so much talk about. Plus he needed to assess the new territory, discern the best locations for his assets to be placed. Today would be a day to remember for the few who knew about the events that took place here today. The lives of many would be forever changed by the deals struck here today.
