Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Behind the Kyōsoku House lies a large three chamber colosseum where today’s event has been scheduled! Some time has past since the end of the First Round of the Sennin Games and today the entire village has come to watch the Second and Final Round of the Sennin Games! Between the three open spaces there lies a network of rooms and passages where the spectators can easily pass through to watch each of the upcoming matches with ease. Alternatively, the spectators could remain in these chambers and watch all three events on the various televised screens.

image1.jpeg

In the chambers of the up coming matches There would be a platform in the middle of a large space surrounded by a large moat of crystal clear water. The depths of the water reach down over 100 meters and if the spectators or the contestants look closely, they would see that there was a current being generated pulling the surface downwards. Retractable wrought iron bridges extended out to the center stone platform allowing the contestants to make their way to the center arena. Each of the contestants have been instructed to prepare for the fight of their life.

IMG_1839.png

In the center of the arena there would be a single man, one of the triplets who were selected to referee this event, wearing a suit of golden armor, prepared for this fight to be one of the most impactful this village had seen in some time. Pulling up the microphone and shouting out, he was ready to begin the match.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, as well as those within and outside of the traditional Gender Binary! Welcome to the Sennin Games!”

The crowd would cheer and an eruption of applause would be heard from the interior private chambers each contestant was provided to wait before their match would begin.

“Today we have gathered to see the wits and the strategies provided to us from the magnificent Miroku Akkuma and the marvelous plans and sharp tongue from the glamorous Silent (Chigokai Yuna)!”

The man let out a grin and a hearty laugh.

“I will be your host for this legendary battle of minds, Shinpan Ni! Let’s give these contestants a round of applause as they join us for todays great debate!”

As the contestants would come out they would see that in the middle of the arenas there would be two podiums with microphones waiting for the would-be-Sennin’s to stand behind as their Sudden Death Match was about to begin!

Yuna would step out as she would hear the roar of the crowd go. This must be the most interesting of the fight matchups, an Anbu foreigner vs someone who has had a lot of rumors thrown about, someone mysterious that only those in the know, know all about.

1704896367439.jpeg

She herself didn't have a lot of gear, nor does she really need it, for what she has planned, will be enough. Scanning around, the masked anbu would see that this arena was almost all water, what with only a small portion of land. So... She has a feeling that Raizo must have thought about her when making this. Taking a quick look at the water, it seems to pull the surface down, no doubt a way to disrupt focus of someone battling if they stand on the water. Something Yuna will have to take note of even as someone who can effortlessly control water.

She would walk to the podium, noticing that there was a microphone and how the man had talked about a great Debate. It would seem that before the fight, each contender would get a word in, probably on how they would make Sand a great nation as a Sennin. It might seem comical for someone watching this. Someone who is shrouded in mystery, a foreign anbu, but small in comparison to many people, Yuna is only five foot three.

Either way, she has a feeling this whole arena isn't just for a debate. She readied herself for a fight that will not just result in her own future, heck, not even in just Sands future, but the whole world. Mirokou Akkuma. The man that was behind both attacks on Leaf and Cloud and had put the blame on Sand for it. All for his own twisted sense of justice to see who Sands real allies were. There is no telling what would happen if this man is allowed to live any longer in this world, much less, is given the power of a Sennin. Yuna has to do everything in her power to make sure that this demon dies AND has no chance of becoming a Sennin. She would clench her fists.

This man is not going to be easy, and while she has her own feats, there is no doubts that the Demon has his own remarkable feats as well. She would eventually make it to the podium, she would stare at the opposite side, waiting for her enemy to appear. Yuna would remind herself that she was in fact, in a tournament, and she would still need to win over the crowd. She seen first hand how charismatic Akkuma can be, and her lack of talking really does put her at a disadvantage.

She would turn away and face the crowd, giving a deep and theatrical bow, something that her father had taught her. Her father, Ziren, was all about theatrics as it keeps people on their toes. Once she came up from her bow, Yuna would bring up one of her hands, and in a single wave motion, would command the waters to make huge watery letters that everyone would be able to read easily from the stands.

I would like to thank you all for having me in your beautiful country and Village! Meeting with some of the fine citizens here in Sand has really opened up new horizons for me and I hope to grow those bonds with you all together!

The message would float above the whole arena for a few seconds, giving people plenty of time to read, before slowly falling back down into the water below, showing great and immense control of the water by Yuna, aka Silent.

Shinpan Ni the individual who could be called the Events hype man, commentator & host for the day. Began to make his announcements to the packed crowd that had filled the coliseum stands. However Akkuma wasn't the type of man to leave his Fate in the hands of others & as such he had gone through the effort of bribing the AV tech for the coliseum. He'd had a little mix put together that he felt encapsulated him more or less. It would be played upon his entrance into the coliseum, although Akkuma intended to take full advantage of this situation & the crowd around them. Sighing he would shrug off the thick extravagant robe that covered his form.

Revealing a vast number of scars that told the story of more then one lifetime. Covering his body were various seals, the majority of which are now inactive due to their pacts being completed or from the death of those he had been sealed with. He bore old Cursed Seals that were no longer active, now only the visible remnants of his transgressions remained. There were segments of his limbs where the scarring appeared stitch-like, left over remnants from when he had been a Revenant. The Dark Sage had created Abominations, Chimera, Homunculus & Clones. Even now while he was participating in the Sennin Games there were experiments being conducted within the desert dunes in his name.

There was more then one reason as to why he was considered an infamous individual. He would be making no effort to dispute that. In fact he intended to remind them of the monster he was. After all his actions gave him the resources, skillset & information that he possessed. After all he had become somewhat of a War Lord to those in the know outside the villages. Not that there weren't those within the walls who had begun to grasp just how far his influence truly spread. Taking a thin Small Summoning Scroll from his belt, clasping it in his hands loosely. Remembering the moment fondly that he had gained the gauntlets he was about to summon.

Within seconds the spiked gauntlets were hung from the side of his hips, next to a small pouch filled with Soldier Pills. The Shimiru Ancient Steel Battle Gauntlets were ornately crafted with the crest of the eight headed serpent. Along with a pair of soul gems that were embedded into them, in which the soul of Kantsuu is sealed. Opting instead for some black Tattsuke-Bakama for as lower garments along with wooden Geta as his footwear instead of his usual business suit. Now he would make the crucial part of his strategy begin to take hold. Exerting his will & chakra into the very earth below him. Breaking it down into grains of sand to create an excess. This was a technique known as Desertification (Master Rank) an advanced sand jutsu.

While not essential it would aid in the tactics he had planned. The materials & minerals below him began to breakdown without so much as a handseal into grains of sand. Next streams of sand rose up from beneath him to coalesce into a miniature cloud-like creation. Another Sunaku technique known as the Desert Nimbus, if they had any cameras in this area of the coliseum. Those viewing them would bee quite confounded. Stepping onto the sand gracefully the Sage would rise from the ground & begin his procession towards the massive gates. Those massive Gates were swung open by the Sage & almost immediately his song started playing through the coliseum audio system.

Flying around the coliseum the Dark Sage would give a series of theatrical deep bows to the spectators who had decided to take part in the Event. Giving a brief stop here & there to smile at someone or smirk at a scowling face. Once he'd completed a lap he finished back in front of the massive Gate he had come from with a devilish grin upon his face. There were still those in the crowd clearly shaken from the song, while some enjoyed. Others were curious as to the origins of the screams that were on the track given the mans reputation. What came next would be a shock to everyone no doubt. For there would be a great resonant rumbling & thumping before a crashing sound could be heard in the area behind him.

Slowly out of the darkness a gigantic sandworm (Avatar of Barnyx Master Rank) would emerge. The sounds it made would echo throughout the arena as it approached the Sage. Sand still cascading from it's form from it's fresh emergence from below, at least that was what he hoped many of the citizens might believe. Turning to face the creature float towards it, placing his hand upon it's massive frame. Speaking some silent words before it turned & returned to 'tunnel' back into the area it had burst in from. When in truth it would only go tunnel a little before breaking down into millions of blood infused grains of sand. Turning now from the room where his creation had arrived & departed he would float towards the podium.

Feeling the eyes of the crowd, Shinpan Ni & Silent upon him. Arriving at the podium he would step from the cloud of sand as it began to casually float around him in miniature streams. "Citizens of Sunagakure what a pleasure it is to see you all here today. Wonderful guests of this magnificent village welcome! Some of you don't know me, while others know me only by reputation alone. I hope by the end of today you all know me a bit better no matter the Moniker you know me by." his words would ring out full of confidence & warmth. A surprising contrast to the ominous aura that permeated him. Then again aside from his aura the rest of his body language was incredibly relaxed in fact, it looked like he was looking forward to what was about to come.

Even though it was meant to be a debate it had appeared the Sage had come prepared for battle all the same. Then again given the unfinished business between himself & Silent who knew if this would be the time she chose to seize her chance. After all what risk would they face if he won the favor of the Sunan population? They hadn't calculated on the chance that he would have one of their most honored & protected bloodlines at his disposal. How could they? There had been no signs or clues. It had been perhaps the hardest part of this stage to his plan given the nature of the Kyosaku House. How he'd resisted temptation until now was a miracle, but now. Well he needed to let the public know.

Now they would be creating new monikers for him. The Worm Whisperer, Demon of the Dunes, Sunagakure's Sin Eater. Who knew, but if he got his team on it maybe there could be some merch by the end of the games. Akkuma couldn't restrain that devilish smirk upon his face as he held Silent in his emerald eyed gaze. How he was eager for this debate to begin, for the people to hear their words. Well hear his words & see Silents however it was she would be communicating with them. Having been to busy making preparations for his entrance that he didn't notice her water writing, although he did note the abundance of the element. Given their encounter in his quarters in the Kyosaku House it wasn't hard for him to guess how she would be doing her communicating with the crowd.

As the two contestants came from their respective prep areas the crowd would let out roars of excitement as the Sennin Games had been the talk of the town for a few months now. This month hiatus between the rounds gave the villages even more time to talk about who they were cheering for as well as giving them a chance to discuss their approval or disapproval of the first selected Sennin from the games, Chikamatsu Shin. The masses were unaware if this round would select a single Sennin or if the last two open seats would be filled from this round, but they were excited nonetheless.

Standing before the two possible Sennin, stood the MC for the event, Shinpan Ni. He let out a hardy laugh before speakig.

"Welcome, welcome, one and all! This match up was made in the heaven to maximize the scandalous nature that is this Sennin Game! Before this round begins, some house keeping:
First, when a question is asked, the first person to speak will be allowed to carry their response for a total of two minutes before their opponent is allowed to rebuttal. After giving their rebuttal the second contestant may give their answer and the first contest may rebuttal when their opponent is finished.
Second, rebuttals may last no longer than one minute.
Third, points will be deducted if you exceed your time.
Fourth and finally, the observers of this great match will be giving a crowd vote to see what the masses think."

The man looked around with a grin.

"For our first question... Should the Sunan Academy remain affiliated with the Toraono Dojo?"

A chuckle would escape the Sages form after all their host wasn't wrong. This match up was one that was set from the start, they were bound to face each other inevitably. However he had not anticipated it being on the stage of debate in front of the sunagakurians, nor so soon after he had enlightened the nation on a variety of subjects. The Dark Sages eyes flashed at the question. Wondering who it was that might wish to see his battle-brothers influence undone. Stepping towards the podium Akkuma would speak first on the matter. "The Toraono Dojo is a place of pride for Sunagakure. It's affiliation with the Sunan Academy is something to be celebrated. While the clan provides World Class tutelage, they contribute far more then that to the Sunan Academy." With each word his voice echoed around the arena.

"It is the Toraono way, that is most important about their affiliation with the Academy. Their culture & ultimately the teachings that become reflected by those that undergo them." For a moment his eyes would flash as he prepared to deliver the final point he was making here. "For these reasons I believe without a doubt that the Academy should retain it's affiliation with the Toraono Dojo. Now I would not expect Silent to understand the ramifications such a decision poses to Sunagakure, after all how could a Kumogakurian Anbu truly grasp the severity of what is being proposed? I suppose we're about to find out." His speech was strong, confident, controlled & well timed. He hadn't even used up half his time before he motioned for his opponent to give their rebuttal with a smirk. What stance could Silent take that he couldn't argue to pit the public more to his side?

Throughout the first round he had slowly revealed all the essential information he needed, earlier he had revealed his Sunaku nature. Now he had opted to argue on behalf of what could be argued as one of Sunagakure's more well known & respected clans. After all even among those who lived alternative lifestyles to the preferences of village standards, the Toraono were generally friends. At the very least they were more often then not willing to hear one out & give them they same respect they would any other individual. This culture of the clan was one of the reasons he believed the Sunan shinobi force as a whole to be more welcoming. When speaking from the perspective of an outsider, he dreaded to imagine the path their force & in turn village might turn to should such a day arise.

After all the village had already locked itself behind the Bulwark, if they further insulated themselves & their military by limiting its instruction to that of a more rigid methodology. Perhaps to some it would be a surprise he was arguing on behalf of keeping the Toraono affiliated with the Academy. But Akkuma was in fact quite close with Toraono Kuro, in fact the two were battle-brothers. The Toraono had earned themselves an unwavering ally in the Miroku. This had yet to change so as Akkuma stood there he prepared himself to listen to whatever arguments could be made against keeping their affiliation with the prestigious & loyal clan. On more then one occasion Sunagkure had been saved by the actions of the Toraono Clan or those they had trained & now call comrades.

So... The debate will first be about the thoughts about separating the academy from Toraono Dojo. If it would have been international politics, Yuna might have the leg up on this, but internal politics that is seeped into history, is something that Yuna will have a hard time with. However... She would listen to what Akkuma had said. Even though he is a demon, he has lived here for a long time and could understand how well the natives of Sand would think of this type of decision.

He would jab at her about being a foreign anbu of saying that she will never understand the thoughts and feelings of the citizenry. There was silence as Akkuma had finished what he had said and let Yuna speak, or rather write her mind. Stepping up to the podium, she would raise her hand as water would raise up once more, to make giant watery words for anyone to read. Akkuma wants to paint her as the foreigner that knows nothing about the natives, then so be it. But she will do so in her own way.

Yes, I am a foreigner, and an ANBU at that. And Yes, I do not know your ways, but I have slowly adapted to think how the people in this Village thinks. I wholly understand that the past and tradition are very important aspects within each and every village. However, I also believe in change. Change can be scary, but it is meant to make us all better. If I do not gain the title of Sennin here in Sand, I will go back to my home country, with the thought of making it better than before, making changes inspired by how Sand Village has taught me. And not just in the work of a ninja, but also the work of a citizenry. For the better.

Now this ultimately doesn't have to happen at once, but gradually. To think of not just the past, but the future as well. The Future is everchanging with new things to happen. And we, not just Sand, but all of the Villages and their citizenry will need to also change for the better.

While Akkuma is playing on tradition and the past, Yuna will play on the future and the will to change for a brighter future. But the real question will be how will the general populace answer to what she had gave them to think about?

As the contestants spoke their moderator would shake his head knowingly as the sounds of the crowd varied from person to person.

"All right! Thats the way it should be. Share your views with the people! They are thirsty for your input, after all by the end of this contest you may carry the weight of responsibility of not only the title of Sennin, but the weight of the innocent lives within this village."

The man looked around with a grin.

"For our second question... Should the great Shinobi clans pay taxes?"

The Dark Sage smiled a devilish grin as Silent's watery words formed her point. She hadn't even attempted to refute his accusations, playing straight into his hand. He could already feel the pull of the publics attention as they had gone through his opponents argument. He needed to make no rebuttal here, she was a foreigner arguing on the behalf of change. A tide of change that had already been met with a barrier of opposition from the public. Local issues she was unaware of as an outsider & lacked the perspective to truly understand. What worked for Kumogakure, would not work for Sunagkure.

Their host for this segment of the event continued on with their commentary before posing his next question. To this question there was a simple answer one that no doubt many Sunans would agree. "Naturally any citizen of Sunagakure should be paying their taxes. But the great clans especially so, while they carry positions of respect & responsibility. It would be disingenuous if we did not acknowledge these same positions allowed them certain advantages when it comes to brokering deals or leveraging their resources with the appropriate contacts in business." Those emerald eyes of his scanned the crowd as he continued on.

"It should be a position of pride for the great Houses to contribute towards the continued prosperity of Sunagakure." He would say with a finality that had a smugness to it. After all should they not all carry the same burden for Sunagakure? Especially those that had the most to gain from their positions. Although he was not unaware of the work, that was undertaken by the clans. Largely at their own expense already to better the village, after all his own household had helped in the building of Sunagakure's surface residential zones. Without any financial recompense sought or needed. It was after all what he considered the responsibility of a clan in his position, even if it hadn't they owed it to the Toraono at the very least back in those days. But if they weren't already he could write policies to ensure such acts of robust infrastructure development qualified one for tax cuts. There were however better points he would make should he need to quell any argument from his opponent that might sway the crowd.

Akkuma's gaze would come to a rest now upon Silent, it would be her turn to make an argument. What approach would she use for the side of the debate she had now found herself stuck in? Would it be the sacrifices they already paid by being notable targets of the village? From the amount of bodies they invested into the military efforts of the village. To the benefits of these clans & the risks their responsibilities what approach she would take he was unsure. After all it was rarely the nameless shinobi called out by the big bad, no it was the pinnacles of a society who were targeted to send a message. It was a truth he'd witnessed many times, repeated throughout the ages. Every position of life had it's benefits & disadvantages. Sometimes all it took was a change in perspective to make the most of a situation. He'd built an empire with his uncanny skill to navigate fate. Although experience had taught him too many times not to underestimate his opponent & Silent had proven themselves an adequate foe.

After all that identity of hers had remained secret & even now before a crowd of foreign citizens. Revealed as an agent of another nation she would still argue against him. Sunagakure had taken on traitors before, perhaps she would defect? Would that be what the crowd whispered if support grew for her? Would they cry their praises for her words or would they proclaim their agreement with his proclamation.

Yuna would wait as the next question was rolled out. Should the great shinobi clans pay taxes? Is this implying that they haven't been taxed so far? Either way, Akkuma would once again take the lead and speak his mind on the matter. And for once, she agrees with him. Such a thing would be paramount for the success of a nation if all of it's citizens are treated equally on this front.

With a wave of her hand, giant watery words will rise up from the arena once again.

I would have to agree with Akkuma on this one. Such is the thing of paying taxes can be often seen as stressful it would help those in lower income know that those in higher income was also doing their part in paying taxes, and thus be more inclined to do their taxes in return. Should everyone, even the great shinobi clans of Sunagakure, were to pay taxes, it would help with education system, along with medicine, both are vastly important for the growth of a nation.

The Shinpan brother smiled and nodded at the answers. He was glad to see that his debate was staying civil as if this trial by verbiage came to a trial by steel and flames there was nothing he could do to stop it.

"My oh my, Sunagakure would be proud to call either of these candidates our Sennin! What magnificent displays of keen intellect and perspective wisdom!"

The crowd would cheer as his microphoned voice echoed throughout the stadium which housed at a minimum a thousand people watching this debate alone. He would turn and look at the crowds, waiving his hands upward to help encourage the cheers and merry displays of acceptance and the boos of distaste towards the answers provided.

It was at this moment, at the peak of excitement, that a cloaked figure wearing an ANBU mask would appear in a spiral of sand beside the announcer. He would lean in and whisper into the Master of Ceremony's ear. The jolly face that the brother had would twinge slightly and those that learned how to read people would be able to see intense amounts of anxiety forming and welling up within the man.

Just as quickly as the ANBU member arrived, they vanished, leaving the Shinpan man standing alone. He looked back at the two contestants before him.

"Well, this is quite the um.. uh-situation!"

He heard his voice over the microphone before realizing he was still wearing his mouth piece. Taking it off he gestured for the two debaters to approach him.

"So it appears that our situation has changed dramatically. I don't have all of the information, but you are um, both dismissed. Please be on stand by until we get umm, more information about his whereabou- I mean about the situation!"

He chuckled nervously as he let out a small part of the information slip out of his mouth. Someone was missing. Something was happening that was drastic enough to interrupt the Sennin Games.

If the contestants had looked around the arena, they would have noticed that the top viewing chamber of the arena has remained empty this entire time. The Lord Kazekage had not visited this debate a single time, and now the games are ending because someone's location wasn't known. Theories anc conspiracies could grow, but until and answer was given, every one was in the dark.

A soft telepathic message would be sent to Miroku Akkuma from the Sennin of Sunagakure no Sato.

`Miroku Akkuma, it's Chikamatsu Shin. I need you for an S-Rank Mission. Meet me at the Primus' Bulwark Gates in an hour. Bring the provisions you will need for a week in the desert. Tell no one about your departure.`

The Sage read the glistening words with little surprise, coming from Kumogakure he was not surprised Silent's sentiment on this matter was the same as his own. Opting not to attempt a rebuttal against an agreeing point as that would be futile, he awaited the next question. Their host continued working the crowds excitement commenting on their points once more. Then everything shifted in a matter of moments, their host had clearly received some unsettling news. That was when he slipped up, voicing the concerns felt by what he had heard. Something was going on, something serious.

"Intriguing..." he thought to himself as their host motioned for them to approach, removing his microphone. However the next words from their hosts mouth made him raise a singular brow in reflexive surprise & interest. 'This level of concern, to stop the Games themselves so publicly...' his mind began to breakdown the potential nominees of who's location they sought & why with such urgency. However he felt a familiar mental connection as the telepathic message from Shin entered his mind. "Well it's been a pleasure folks!" He would pronounce to the arena with a theatrical flourish & bow. Before turning to face Silent, that piercing gaze of his resting upon her masked form.

"Until we next meet, Silent." the words were said with the flash of a shark-like grin. With those words sand spiraled around the Sages form & he would be gone. Off to make his final preparations & to discover what on earth his first official S-Rank mission would be in these lands. Akkuma wished he knew which section of the desert was their destination. After all with all the facilities out there he needed to know if one of his projects had gotten lose or if there would be the possibility of retreat to one of the facilities if needed. In regards to provisions the demonic Sage required far less then his mortal compatriots. Most of his energy would be sustained by the unseen life of the desert, drawing it in & corrupting it for his own needs.

Yuna was kind of taken aback from the recent events that have unfolded. Some things aren't adding up, but for now, she assessed the situation. Noting how the Kazekage was absent. She scowled to herself. Focusing on Akkuma made her blind to the well being of the Kazekage. She wondered if he had even heeded her warnings of those she felt suspicious of.

Looking over at Akkuma, he bid her a farewell before sand would engulf him. That is, until Yuna had let the water in the arena surround his sand, making it too heavy to cover him. She was well aware of that they were in front of the whole of Sunagakure, so she won't try to do any unnecessary fighting just yet. Walking up to him, small watery words would appear before him only small enough for him to see.

For your sake this recent turn of events better not be by your hand or your plans. I'll be keeping my eyes on you as before.

While it does seem at first look that she is accusing him, the very fact that she had it in small letterings rather than for the whole country to see it would mean otherwise. While Akkuma is her enemy, Yuna would be a fool to think that there isn't other forces at play here. It could very well be that her suspicions on Benzaiten could be correct. And if that is the case, there could be more like that Oracle that might be suspicious within this country. Yuna can't trust Akkuma, but for now, she might have to play the "enemy of my enemy is my friend", though she doesn't know which enemy to temporarily back for right now.

With that said, she would take her own leave, turning into water unless if Akkuma had anything else to say to her.

While the sands would rise to whisk away their master, the water would in turn obey the commands of Silent & clash with the element. Weighing it down & coagulating the mineral. Those emerald eyes would flash as he willed the sludge away, after all he was used to carrying denser things then water now but he wouldn't reveal that just yet. There had already been much on display today here. For what reason had the Anbu intervened, had this been the opportunity they were looking for? If not for the contract pulling at him, compelling him to answer the summons he'd have perhaps retaliated with a display. After all she had just stopped his teleportation before a crowd of the public.

When he read the words that formed however he gave a devilish chuckle of delight. "How could I be responsible for anything? I've been in the Games this whole time." he paused assessing her & the arena around them as it dispersed. Noting the growing anxiety & panic of the attending shinobi, much like a panicked herd the crowd to was growing in fear. What was going on? One of humanities greatest fears had always been the unknown, they all dealt with it in their own way. Such a shame he wouldn't be able to enjoy the spectacle. "My we are in trouble aren't we." he would say ominously as his gaze landed upon her once more.

With those words he watched as she dispersed into water, a method the Sage had utilized in the desert. After their parting words Akkuma would swap with a sand clone he created in the stands & disperse it as he used the Stunt Double Jutsu to switch into the crowd. Not wanting to be followed in case Silent was still attempting to observe him from afar. In the swarming masses he would once more teleport before the contract decided more force was required. It would take awhile to get used to the compulsion of the contract. For it had been so long since he had been under one, let alone one of another's crafting. What would his kin think if they knew? Then again it wasn't as if the contract endangered their projects or the clan he had ensured that.
