Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kamaru stared down at the cup of coffee in front of him, it was definitely different to see the picture of a cat made in the foam of his cup of coffee. He tried not to pay attention to the man across the table and the women next to him as he apologized again. Her shoulders shook again as she went into another set. Kamaru didn't know if she was crying or trying to control her rage. As long as she didn't try and kill the man next to her he let her be.

Taking a sip of the coffee finally destroyed the small work of art. For the most part it was wasted on Kamaru probably he did enjoy the coffee though. He placed the cup down closing his eyes. It kind of sucked that he wouldn't be able to finish the cup. There was a guy behind him on his left that kept looking at the guy Kamaru was guarding and tapping on the papers in his hand and looking out the windows.

"Miss I'm going to need you to get under the table, after today let your boss know you're going to need to lay low possibly for a few days." Kamaru stated looking at the rest of the coffee, he didn't even have time to down it in one go.

"Up, time to go." Kamaru explained as he performed hand seals.

As the man stood he seemed to stammer out unsure on what to say or if it would even reach him, "If I could have a few more min-" he began to plead before a small manicured hand grabbed him by the belt buckle, belt, and front of his pants. "Outback. Now." the lady said in an even tone pulling him towards the kitchen.

The place wasn't crowded before but a few people had left already. Plus there was the guy signaling the whole time Kamaru thought as he pulled along the man behind him. The kitchen staff seemed to ask him thing since he looked like one of the waitresses. It fell on deaf ears as a small black shoe kicked open the back door with more force then one would expect. As they moved out back and looked around a man came running up, "You've been spotted they're com... Where's the escort?" the man started before standing upright slightly confused.

Pointing up and hopping into the man's arms the young lady simply stated. "If he needs to get out of here he can go back to the Embassy until the detail comes to pick him up. You probably already contacts the Guardians or ANBU before he got here to pick him up. We'll see them in route or they'll reinforce our position at the Embassy. And he's not going to let anything happen to me since he loves me." The young lady put up two fingers and formed a V before the man shook his head and jumped to the top of the building and moved out.

"Who transforms into a guy's girlfriend and takes him into holding while being carried by the guy?" the guy muttered.

The young lady looking around scared replied back in kind, "Someone trying to make sure she doesn't get killed or used as bait. You're the one who wanted to see her, I figure you knew you were putting her at risk." Kamaru replied in his normal voice. "Or was snukums embarrassed when I grabbed you by the belt buckle and led you out back. Did you want a lit-tle treat?" Kamaru asked in the young lady's voice caressing the man's arm with a fingertip. "Shut up! That's really creepy so stop it." the man blurted as his face flushed with color.

"We got one coming in fast. Heads up." Kamaru muttered before suddenly scream in a very feminine voice as they dove out of the way from an attack.

"Can't let you go in Gempachi. You know things we don't want you telling people. Damn shame your girlfriend might end up with the same fate as you." the man said.

Kamaru blinked studying the man, he definitely looked the part of someone no nonsense, the eye patch and mannerisms said he had no qualms in killing and Kamaru looked at the man carrying him and suddenly piped out, "Wait I'm you’re girlfriend? We haven't even been on a date yet!" she sounded slightly embarrassed, excited, and/or flattered.

"Cute, Kurotani Yoshii is a wanted merc in Earth country, don't bother with Lightning based jutsu he's immune. Don't think he had a massive blind spot either unless you want to get killed... no wonder he caught up he's also pretty good at jumping." the man carrying Kamaru muttered before putting him down. Gempachi bit his fingertip running the blood down his forearm over a tattoo before pulling a serrated version of the tattoo knife off his arm.

Performing seals with one hand a clump of rock and dirt fell from the cave walls close by mixing with tiles to for a golem of earth. As Gempachi and his golem charged the man the man easily busted through the golem his hand reaching out for Gempachi. He was surprised when the knife lanced through his chest turning to ink, Gempachi having stopped and rocketed the weapon towards the back of his golem with exceptional timing through use of a wind jutsu.

The man fell to his knees as the golem continued to crumble seeing Gempachi and the girl running away until he saw her picked up and their pace increasing. As blood pooled around him and he lay on his back he sighed from under the half pile of earth on him from the golem. "Release him, smartass sucker punched me, I'll catch up. Need time though…" he said after fumbling with a button on his neck before he went limp.

Kamaru had changed forms back to himself when they heard the sounds on the run. It sounded like someone was choking a rather large bird. Kamaru’s brain finally caught up and asked the man next to him about if he knew any big reptiles that might be coming after him now. He just swore and started running faster.

As the sound of metal on stone could be heard Kamaru’s fears were confirmed. A dark blue reptile about half the size of a horse was sprinting after them. It wasn’t metal but claws and considering the size of the beasts legs it wasn’t a surprise it was gaining.

”Idea?” Kamaru shot catching up with his charge.

”Don’t get caught, it’s poisonous also immune to most poisons.” the man next to him show back in spurts as they rounded another corner.

As Kamaru performed hand seals a wall of earth shot up in front of the beast a few feet in front of it. Kamaru looked back seeing the thing still behind them not losing ground. Performing more hand seals another wall shot up after another Kamaru was pretty sure the big lizard was jumping over them while he watch and if the walls were erected to close together it would jump from the top of one to the other. With a roar he swore loudly as he performed hand seals an area of the ground engulf in fire as a shade charged their pursuer. As it lashed out he snarled and changed tactics going on the defensive but give the two some time to escape. Kamaru swore as something big and scaly dropped down from the roof tops in front of them and hunched down.

”Is it crapping?” Kamaru asked slowing down genuinely confused.

The man next to him shoved him, ”Keep going, making reinforcements!” he blurted.

Kamaru jerked visibly horrified seeing something massive come out, a speckled egg. Seeing cracks in it made him want to question the biology but he opted he could do that from a safe location later. As Kamaru looked around he heard the sounds behind him of the beast and the shrill screams of smaller versions. Kamaru barked out his location and the situation as they moved down another street. Someone almost immediately stated they were already on route. Sensing two people moving towards him had Kamaru tensing. It subsided when the figures dashed past him Kamaru finally noticing the other four members moving behind him. Request to move to the Embassy for pick up and that a team was on route to the threat had Kamaru thankful when he showed up.

He kind of wanted to find out who dealt with things behind him. For the moment he’d take the opportunity to catch his breathe first. The sounds of explosions did raise concern though until he looked at the security detail and noticed they were still filling out paperwork calmly for the exchange of custody. One of them turned and asked about a man fitting the first attacker’s description. Kamaru started giving the run down but the man put up a hand listening and explained to disregard he was already detained for attacking the other team. In a way Kamaru felt cowardly for running. But his current job wasn’t to necessarily take down all the obstacles out there.

”I’ll check in on her later to make sure things go fine for her.” Kamaru stated shaking the man’s hand.

With the man part done he moved into the next part to complete the mission. The paperwork.
