It had been a strange set of days. He had gone to his sennin Keita to get permission for the renovations, and gotten them approved. The next day, he had received his official account and grant from the national bank in Iwagakure for the hospital. He had marked it a week from now that the Hope Clinic would be closed to make way for the new hospital. However, one thing that the medical chief did not think about needing was workers to actually make the hospital. For the night, Hissori lamented this idea of having to hire workers.
That meant he had to hire a union. Which meant increased waged, which meant a decreased budget. Then it meant that he to have people bid on the project, and he would no longer have complete control, and that could not happen. As hissori was resting his head on his pillow to go to sleep he came up with the idea. He would get workers from the area.
Waking up bright and early. The twenty-one year old would dress shower and set out for inner Marushi. If he was younger, Hissori would have been nervous to actually go out and just start just recruiting people, but now Hissori was ready to go out and greet new people. A lot of hapless souls were already hanging out on the block, and hanging around in groups. Normally this would be a bad sign for the regular civilians of Inner marushi. These were the people that made up the gangs, but today they were potential workers!
“Hello everyone. I am Ii Hissori the head of what will soon be known as the former Hope Clinic. I am looking today for construction workers to help me rebuild our wonderful clinic. You will be given a meal stipend for every day for working and will be paid 1000 yen an hour. It is a pretty good deal if you ask me.” The medical chief asked me as he looked over at them.
A couple of the younger boys were interested in the idea, but seemed to be held back by the older members of their groups. Hissori would frown and continue to try and persuade them.
“Not only will you be able to help this village, but you will be safe, and be given a skills to make sure that you can succeed and thrive in life.” He said. One of the youngest boys nodded a bit and mumbled that he wanted to sign up. Handing over the clipboard, Hissori smiled. He knew if he started with just one person, one youth, people would start to cave in and start to join him.
This is how his day went. Talking to people, groups, youngest, shinobi flunkouts, and really anyone that he could get to work. By the end of the day, he had about one hundred people signed up to help build the hospital, and that seemed like Hissori a great way for Hissori to start building the hospital.
