Buying exit off of Moon Island wasn't that hard. Nobu had brought a decent pouch of coin along with him on his trip originally, and had spent very little of it. His training as a shinobi provided food and water, and he had spent most of his nights beneath the stars or the boughs of a tree. Ever since discovering his Bloodline, Nobu had also made extensive use of its abilities to create gradually more complex shelters, from a rudimentary roof of packed trunks to a shaped-wood dome to an entire house, erected from the earth with no more than a tap on the earth and a touch of the natural energy he could now channel naturally.
Nobu's journey to Moon Island had been almost entirely sea-bound. Awakening to the Senju bloodline and the contact with nature it brought with it had given Nobu a desire to see nature, however. The ship would take him to the Land of Tea, and he would continue on foot from there. Supposedly, the Land of Fire had beautiful, lush forests. They would provide a better backdrop for his trip home than rippling waves and a constant feeling of nausea.
Nobu's eyes strayed to the sea as he walked down the dock towards the vessel that would take him to Tea. He knew now what lived beneath the surface of the water, the beings that inhabited the dark places usually hidden from land-walkers such as himself. They, too, had afforded him a greater understanding of the world around him. Taking a deep breath, Nobu stepped onto the boarding ramp.
