Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kino was delaying his return to the orphanage. He knew that they weren't going to let him out past dinner even if it was with the Hokage, mostly because no one was going to buy that story. He looked at the note and thought to himself 'They'll probably think it's a forged letter, I can see the extra chores now.' He continued on his walk for a few moments before stopping outside a shop and looking in the window. It was nothing special really, just a furniture store that was having a sale. But to Kino, that was something that made him think.

Thinking of what home was and what it had become, of what had occurred earlier and why, and naturally of just sitting down on a damn couch. The concept was great, but in reality it was something he was so far from. His bunk was barely a bed in his eyes, but it worked so who was he to complain anyway. The more he thought of it, the more he thought of if his sister was still with his mom, and what they might be doing on a night like tonight. Wherever they were, and whatever they were doing, he was certain that one day he'd be doing it too when he met them again. Hopefully with some real food, that's what he missed most about living with his dad

In his office, Keniwa felt that he did not really feel comfortable after recent events. So in an attempt to try make himself feel more comfortable he decided to go on a furniture shopping spree to make his place of work far more homely. Most of the decor's colour would now be mixes of orange and black, with splashes of red and yellow around, even bringing paint and new carpet. It was all getting a re-haul which would fit his own style of things, so that was tonight's task. With three other clones by his side, they each were lifting out several objects and furniture carefully stacked upon each other. Moving their way out of the shop, Keniwa would notice a young boy despite the time of night, even this store was only open just so he could finish his purposes.

Either way it was an abnormal site to see, despite his recent tiredness the real Kyoujouran would place down the couch and chair he had stacked on top. "Is everything okay young boy? It is quite late at night to be walking around alone. Where are your parents, I do not think they would be very happy to know you are here rather than being at home." One thing that he did not like to see was a lonely child, and so Keniwa would wait quietly to hear what he had to say. The furniture could wait.

Kino looked over his shoulder and then turned to face the man with a less than enthusiastic facial expression. This was the second comment on parents, he wasn't the only person who didn't have them.. but it was starting to feel less common given the comments. "Not likely, orderlies tend to just be angry even if you're on time." He tilted his head to crack his neck and then scratched his hair behind his head. "Well, sorry for bothering you. I was just looking for lookings sake"

Kino was tired, but not in a physical sense. His body was fine, still ready for the whatever the night might bring, but his spirit was weighing heavy on him. It was clear from his tone of voice, his defeated body language, all of it pointing to a child that had lived far too short a time to look this weathered. His eyes looked hallow, left with bags from terrible nights where sleep was a burdensome chore that could not be managed. There was no reason for Kino to be, act, or feel this way.. but he did and it wasn't easier on him to be reminded twice in one day.
