It was deadly quiet within the halls of the Student Academy. Prior to this commotion this circus has been causing around the village Koga had been informed that one of the ANBU were mysteriously being transformed. Something was offset in the balance of things, something he was now correcting. For what felt like an eternity in the shadows had truly been moments, and what was transpiring here would surely be a result. Calm, cool and collected he laid in the ceiling watching the ground beneath him with an enhanced vision. The Gate of View, gave his eye more precise accuracy and the unique ability to see clones for what they were. For most foes one eye and this Gate was all that he needed. Today the enemy was another predator something viscious, but also was a victim of the ANBU Corps. Whoever was leading this show was actually able to get to a Sunan ANBU again making Koga wonder just where were they getting these skills and boldness from. The ANBU weren't invincible far from it in fact. However they had to appear that way, but this wasn't about saving an ANBU's life it was about saving a man, a Sunan man.
Mice scurried about the ground below in a box 4 feet high. This box had a cage made of Koga's bone hidden within. It was what was keeping the mice contained and what would keep "Cobra" from getting to them all. He had left a trail of dead mice, probably using about 15 of the total to lead the snake man here. It was good that he was answering to the call of the word bro. Koga had gotten a few Ikoji clan members with quick feet to catch his attention and chide him with the word Bro! For some reason it was what he was responding to and this was definitely something the Ikoji had a handle on. It had been about a half-hour since this whole plan had started and soon his runners came through the halls dashing with immense speed. They did him proud as they dashed and cut corners in the hall heading to the safe zone.
After a few moments Koga could hear the hissing and the rattling that was supposed to be accompanied with this creature. Game time was upon him, and there was nothing else to do but prepare for the spring. Koga would cup his hands together and begin to use his chakra. The control of the Sound element was going to be crucial for this next part as he began Harmonization. He spoke loudly through his hands and yelled out the word, "Bro!?" He would keep this up until the rattling and hissing came his way. As Cobra drew close Koga moved into position ready to drop down.
Cobra was a large brown reptilian humanoid. He had no legs now, and from the waist down had a snakelike body. His upper body was more human like but scaly and his head was that of a snake but had a human's face. The most dangerous parts he could confirm with there talon like hands, venom drenched fangs, and the blade like rattle on it's tail. As he came to the hall he was called to, and immediately began to search using it's forked tongue looking for someone rather anyone to come. The snake man immediately began to slither around the box wrapping it's serpent like body around the box and squeezing tightly. However the bone it was trying to break would not fold so easily. This seemed to agitate the snake man but before he could even try Koga would get ready to strike. A bone spike would come from his hand and reveal an injector he had placed in earlier. With this bone he would inject the snake man with a tranquilizer, enough to knock out a baby elephant.
Koga would jump down but Cobra was faster than he thought and as he tried to strike the blade like tail came at him in full swing trying to break him apart. Much like a natural reaction he would pull up his forearms and force bone spires out of them creating a pointed shield to absorb the blow of the tail and inflict damage back. The Dance of the Larch one of the greatest techniques for countering the Ikoji had gained from their lineage. It was like a sword and a shield but the tail still sent Koga hurtling. As he crashed into a wall, he observed Cobra who was now wailing in pain at the bone spires that dug into his tail. While the end was bladed the rest was not and the pieces that hit the Larch were definitely not a fun thing.
However the snake man would go back to gnawing at the bone cage in which the Ikoji shinobi would cock his head to the side and begin to speak nonsense. "Bro, cool story bro. Why do you think I'm here bro? Bro? Are you listening bro? Brobalinski, Brosef, my brometer is too high for this bromance we have here. Bro? You rather be with mice than me bro? You hurt my feelings Bro, how is my voice Br-" His voice was still changing pitch between high and low due to the harmonization so he had hoped to cause some discomfort in the ears of Cobra. Before he could finish his nonsense Cobra had shifted attention and sprung at Koga with blinding speed. The killing intent was impressive even when it ran into a second serving of the Larch but still tried to bite his head off. With a forceful kick he managed to create distance and Cobra began to yell at Koga showing it's first sign of humanity.
"...I...I...I don't caressssss about your voiceeeeee. I hatessss... the word.... BRO!" With that Cobra came head first again while Koga fought to hold back a chuckle and immediately began to counter attack. The talons came first, easily countered with his bone covered arm. The second was the tail which came down on his collar bone. Normally this would have been a problem but the Larch was putting in what we call work. The pain was there but the blow was softened. It was at that moment he allowed Snake to have some comfort, thinking he had gotten the upperhand while Koga "winced" at the pain. The truth was he was waiting on this moment where snake would try to bite down again. It was the opening he needed and one that would stop this craziness. With the snake striking, he'd use the injector bone and dig right into his mouth. The fluid began to move immediately dropping the giant snakeman who hated the word bro.
With it's defeat he'd use a large amount of Ninja Wire to wrap the Cobra up and begin dragging him to the Obsidian Palace. His family of the shadows would surely find a way to reverse this with the help of the medical divsion. That was not Koga's job, his was to bring the "bro" in.
