Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

PIGS VS THE WOLF

The sharingan is a strong weapon for those who know how to use the eye properly, many people wanted to get their hands on the eye because of its awesome powers while some sold these eyes on the black market for a lot of money. This group in particular managed to get hundreds, no thousands of these eyes that had been plucked from many people. Women, children, retired shinobi, and some exceptionally strong shinobi, all sacrificed to this group of smugglers that saw that stealing these eyes were a business. A rare weapon that can be sold at double the price, for years the group had been undetected for some time but information finally leaked where this dark corporation was located. Right in crater city where if it is illegal somewhere else it's perfectly legal there.

The warehouse didn't look as guarded as one would have expect it to be. At the entrance there was a tall, muscular shinobi with a wild and aggressive appearance, which fits his personality. He has a long face with pronounced cheekbones, and pronounced, hairless brow ridges. He has green eyes and long, stringy black hair with the smile of a maniac as though he looked for the day he'd get a chance to cut someone down with that sword he had been carrying around. He's been bored just sitting around waiting, a lot of people tried to make it past him, but those people fell short in doing so. He pretty much saw himself as a one man army, the meanest of the mean. No one would get past him, and no one will arrest him neither without a fight on their hands.

"Hm?!” he looked hard at a single area ready to start attacking, but it was just a little bird that seemed to be injured. A leering smile crept on the mans face. “Well what are you doing here pipsqueak, you can't be no where near this warehouse.” He walked with that incredibility huge Axe that looked to be hampering his movements, the cruel muscular man loomed over the helpless creature that tried to fly away. Lifting up his big great foot to squish the helpless bird! Blood and gore dirtied the ground and his shoe. “Whoops..”

[Ooc: Things to keep in mind: everyone else besides the big guy guarding the front are D/E rank ninja so they'll be easy to get pass. This guy is A Rank but moves slow, gen is more effective, and he doesn't dodge.... At all. =) Have fun!]

There was a crackling of electricty as Soku materialized onto the rooftop across from the warehouse equipped in a full ANBU uniform, her mask concealing her face as her blade hung casually by her side. She would go by the code name Tempest for this mission as she would not be working with a ANBU operative for this misson. It was a standard Leaf genin and a Uchiha at that, there seemed to be many of those running around Leaf nowadays. Turning her attention to the warehouse, there was one very clearly tall and fierce looking male towering in front of the entrance blocking a path."That is going to be a problem."She murmured to herself as the girls eyes swung to identify the other ninja running around who didn't seem as scary. They were probably the minions and this was the man running the show. If they took him out, it would have a ripple effect. This was the group of smugglers she had heard so much about."Looks like a pirate with that stupid patch of his."

She looked around impatiently for Hoheto. It had been at least 5 minutes since the Santaru had arrived and had already taken in the situation and analyzed it yet no sign of her partner. She was not jumping down into that mob of thugs without any backup. It wasn't the small-time smugglers she was worried about, it was the behemoth guard. He might be slow but one strike for him and you would be down for the count. Soku felt her temper rising as the man crushed a tiny little bird under his feet, blood staining the ground."I think we'll get along just fine."She said sarcastically hating every fiber of bone in the bandits body . The ANBU took mental note of the offense he had committed so she could re mind him of it later when he was laying on the ground before them broken and battered .

"Either he's coming or not.Soku said frustratingly moving to the edge of the roof tired of waiting around for the kid. Nimbly, the kunoichi leapt down to the surface landing lightly on her two feet her eyes never leaving the towering giant. He still hadn't noticed her but he would soon after she steeped out into the clearing and made him into a training dummy. The girl undid the straps on her sheath and her blade came out cleanly buzzing with electricity letting out a low hum as it activated. She would give it a minute more before hacking away at these jokers. Just the sight of them made her blood crawl and she wanted nothing more than to visualize them destroyed and defeated laying at her feet for these horrendous crimes. Smuggling was a serious crime and they had to be transporting some valuable shipments if they had so many people around. The girl glanced at the direction of the sun to check her time ."He's got about 10 seconds before I start hacking away at Mr.Pirate over there."

Already five minutes late, he appeared as dazzling blurs unveiled as a silhouette with his back pressed on the fence to the warehouse. This was his first team mission and one which involved stealth. Reports had it that a notorious band of crminals within the confines of the warehouse had been auctioning the sharingan; a feat within a feat itself which the uchiha had first dispersed. Though at the time it appeared a rumor but now Hoheto felt a sense of duty to his slain kinsmen. Keeping a clear head, he sought after the santaru. He saw no meaning in going up against the mob of thugs he heard circling the premise with their steps. But just as he gave thought as to where she could be, a low, scarcely audible sound from the other end of the warehouse drew the uchiha's attention. It was so short that he was not certain that he had heard it, and yet Hoheto, at least, knew that he had.

Keeping low, the uchiha appeared on the roof, dropping on all fours. His eyes darted to every shadow, observed every figure and large shape, be it the remains of an animated corpse or what simply proved to be a rock. This many? He pondered, stressing on the odd number of persons he saw patrol the warehouse. Still, he listened carefully for a repeat of the noise but heard the wind coursing through the compound amidst unintelligent chatters, sounds he knew was not the same as the one heard earlier. Possible answers ran through the uchiha's mind as he moved closer to the edge of the roof. Up ahead, the shadows grew progressively darker but his eyes spun red and in doing so, began to adjust to the change in lighting. He watched with his eyes before seeing something perculiar--a familiar figure in an unfamiliar attire he supposed was Soku. The santaru had managed a feat for herself; making a napping baby out of a guard 10 times her size, or so it seemed. In her grip she held a blade buzzing with the same sound the uchiha had picked up moments into his arrival. He appeared besides her with no words but with a countenance which suggested he was prepared for what would follow next.

After moments of the two shinobi just watching the man just stand there, looking very intimidating there were for shadows that began to walk to where the man was standing. Four people in total heading down a long dark walkway, the biggest out of the group carrying two wooden crates on his shoulders, the man with a giant shuriken on his back only carried one crate, there was also a woman with them seemingly the look out, while the one with the sideburns and a really big looking nose lead the group of bandits to where the front door.

“Oi,Oi, Tetsujin! Anybody stupid came along here before we got the ‘jewels’?” Said the one with the sideburns, the man speaking mostly in whoopings and hollering.

Tetsujin smirked, raising his hand up. “Well there was a stupid bird that came around here. But besides that, haven't found anyone anyone wanting to fight.” The man said, his one good eye passing over to the crates with a sinister smile coming across his face. “So let's see how many rubies you pipsqueaks gathered.” With that the two of the bandits came upfront, setting the crates down in front of Tetsujin, the were about to go in their tools to get a crowbar. But of course, probably to show off his strength, Tensujin tore open the crates to see how many eyes did the gang of sharingan smugglers had brought in…

Eyes, eyes, eyes.

Jars of eyes that filled the jars from top to bottom, each sharingan stacked on top of each other like a jar of jellybeans. However some jars a bit smaller had only a pair of eyes, guessing they separated the ones with the ability to go mangekyou so they could sell those at double the price. The basic sharingans were sloppily stuffed in the jar, showing that they gathered a lot. Tetsujin smiled insanely, standing over the group. “Well with shipments like this we'll end up millionaires.” The man gloated, the one with the sideburns shrugged.

“Shame, they train so hard for those eyes, keep them locked up in that house of theirs and hogging that power to themselves! About time someone made money off those red eyed bastards.”

….
While the men laughed amongst themselves, the woman could feel that there was two people somewhere around. She couldn't exactly ping point where that burst of chakra had came from but she knew somewhere someone was watching the negotiations. Without telling the men, she weaved handsigns to send out a greenish light off… that light didn't look good. The skinny looking one with the bald head broke from the crowd of laughing, joking men to see what was up with the only girl in the group if criminals. "Oi, you sent off a searchlight. What you do that for?" the woman looked over at the very ugly dude who questioned her, she was beautiful but she had a habit of saying "like" all the time!

"Like on the roof,I like sense someone, like, spying on us. So, I like, sent off a searchlight to ,like, flush them out." the woman finished, perhaps it was nothing but can't be too careful.

"About time you got here. What took so long?"Soku said sensing Hoheto besides her. Tetsujin suddenly seemed to perk up at the sight of a group approaching and so did she. There were four in total, three men and one woman. They were all carrying crates which Soku was sure full of stolen items. "Be on your toes, this is our time."The young ANBU said from behind her mask casually switching her grip on her blade to a more offensive stance. The group set the packages before the behemoth who tore them open with his bare hands. The girl stared at the contents not believing her eyes. There were eyes among eyes of the Uchiha Clan in there all for sale. So this was what they had up to. The lone kunoichi in the group had sent up some sort of searchlight scanning and Soku knew she had sensed someone and the time to strike was now or never."Hoheto! With me!"

Lightning boomed as the girl suddenly dashed forward weaving signs as Soku manifested the clouds."Storm Style..Fissure Slash!"Her blade began emitting large waves of electricty which slashed at the closest opponent. If he did not dodge, he would feel a immense burning sensation and fall to the ground electricity crackling around his body. She wielded her sword in a threatening manner to keep the others at bay and her eyes gleamed with a cold glamour as she spoke."So you are the smugglers and you've been trafficking these eyes. We both know this can only end one way or the other, or you could make it easy for us and just surrender. Don't make me teach you pain."She said flashing a harsh smile at Tetsujin.

The group would clearly recognize her as a ANBU by her attire and Soku made sure they saw her blade which stayed there pointed inches away from the shuriken man's face. The lighting chakra was almost so close to the smuggler. All she had to do was tilt her arm a bit and he would be toast. That is exactly what the kunoichi proceeded to do. The girl tilted her grip on the blade and it touched the man's skin, the electricity coursing through his body zapping the skin cells and sapping the life out of him."Every second you hesitate, another one dies. So tell me, what's it gonna be, pirate? Will you come peacefully or fight to your end?"

The girl was fully aware of the searchlight woman who was still up. She would leave Hoheto to deal with that."Hoheto, do you mind keeping an eye on her and making sure she doesn't pull a fast one on us."They couldn't risk anyone escaping to get reinforcements or sound the alarm. It was Tetsujin she was most worried about, although big and slow, one punch from him and it was all over. It was essential they take on the giant alone not while his cronies were backing him. That would just add to the mess and they would have to divert their focus. She wanted to take extra care not to screw up when fighting people like these. The tension was thick in the air as everyone waited to see what the next move would be.

Following the santaru's question, Hoheto failed to restrain a short smile. He flashed a look that said nothing, then turned his attention to the group of shadows he saw move towards Tetsujin. As they got closer to the light, his peering red eyes counted a total of four persons. A lady and three men, the biggest and ugliest of whom bore two wooden crates on his shoulders in a show off of strength whereas the other man to his right struggled with one. As they got closer to the giant-Tetsujin, Hoheto observed a smirk run across his rock harc features. Judging by the tone in their chatter, the uchiha was certain the group were up to no good. It was only a matter of time before they were done away for good.

Sighting the extra presence, soku questioned the uchiha's preparedness to which he whispered softly with a yes. He observed her switch to an offensive stance but only for a moment as he was more concerned with the contents of the crates which was veiled from his view. Arranged neatly, the crates were set before Tetsujin who eargerly tore them with his fists. The uchiha quickly feasted his eyes to their contents. His brows furrowed in with rage at what he saw. Needless to say, the rumors were true; jars of different sizes filled the crates from top to bottom and in them was his clan's doujutsu roughly packaged to be sold for profit. Hoheto grew irritated watching the group make mockery of the uchiha clan with the haughty Tetsujin beating his chest over their loot. His pale skin turned red with only one thought, to chop up the giant into mangled bits. But as of now he appeared cool, drawing little attention to himself--one which unknown to the others, the female pirate in the group had caught hold of.

Sensing what had played out, Soku sprung into action. Stealth she deemed was no longer necessary and now was the time for the leaf duo to act. She darted forward signalling the Uchiha who surprisingly, was already out of her view; to him, this was no longer a mission but a quest to avenge his slain brethren which had prompted him to act before she knew it. His rage guided him to Tetsujin but then, he shifted his attention to the lady pirate and her male partner he knew he had to take out first. Physically, they posed the least threat but somehow, stopping her in particular was crucial to the success of this mission. Or perhaps, the uchiha wanted the giant lastly for himself. From the shadows, he appeared a demon set out to kill. Closing on the lady, the blue light emitted from the swishing sound of electrical energy he heard illuminated his path. Weaving handsigns, he expelled in large volumns, gray clouds of searing dust which encircled both pirates and without a moment's notice, detonated them in flames. Taking them out this quickly seemed to trouble him; how he would have relished the opportunity to glance at their faces as the skin around their bodies slowly burned off. Taking positives, this way he was certain Tetsujin remained in his view.

"Done" Hoheto spoke softly to Soku when asked about the business on his end. Slowly, he turned his eyes to Tetsujin in a mix of rage and uncertainty. Looking closely, this man's body was home to many battle scars. If he was correct, Tetsujin had managed to kill and obtain the eyes of every uchiha he had come up against, suggesting he was no joke. But in no way was the uchiha going to back down now. He had already deduced his opponent to be a melee type combatant prone to ninjutsu and genjutsu. It was all a matter of what his next move would be.

As the ones who had been unaware of the entire situation continued to laugh, and literally beat their chest because of the fantastic loot they brought in. They suddenly heard some little brat yelling, Tetsujin smile suddenly faded as he watched a girl suddenly appear weaving hand signs. "What the–” before the final phrase left his lips, the girl shot lighting at the biggest man who was carrying the crates! Electricity spilling into his body, causing him to jolt and convulse. Then with a hard smack one of the weaker bandits fell hard on the floor. The girl landed in front of the group, the man with the sideburns was about to draw his kunai but the girl banished a sword in his direct. The man glaring daggers at the girl, Tetsujin looked down at the little girl trying to be threatening. Cocking his head to the side waiting for someone to put this girl in her place.

"Oi that guy owed me money you little!–” the bald head man finally took action, going for his huge shuriken until he saw her uniform. “OI! KONOHA ANBU!” when those words left, Soku went straight for the mans shuriken! He waved his arms in exaggerated motions, but little did he know he was about to get the biggest shock of his life. He felt electricity coursed through his body, he wiggled and writhed but there was no use… he crumbled to the floor like a marionette with its strings cut loose, his skin still sizzling and smoke came from the dead man's body. Instant kill!

The man that had been the first to have been zapped started to move, however he fell back down. The man with the sideburns and the lady pirate took out their kunai’s, thinking that the girl may have been alone they believe that the two of them could take her no problem. But the searchlight went off! Showing a boy charging at them, which made the two pirates flinch! The lady pirate began to weave hand signs, the man with the sideburns charged in recklessly! "COME ON YOU LITTLE BASTARD!” The man with the sideburns said, charging at the boy but then clouds of searing dust which encircled both pirates and without a moment's notice, detonated them in flames! But… what he didn't know was that the lady pirate hand used body switch leaving the man to die alone. The woman looked back, knowing that her only option was to call more of the bang before things got out of hand, she pulled out a flare gun then fired it into the air! Exposing her position on top of the roof of the house!.....

….

Tetsujin stood with the three wooden crates in front of him, his one good eye taking quick glances at both the girl, and the boy who just entered. Three men dead, the woman calling for help, that just left him to deal with these brats on his own. A shame really, he also wanted to see just how tough these two can really be. “So.. You think that just because you took out a couple of small fry, you stand a chance against me don't you.” A smile stretched across his cheeks, holding his weapon carelessly in his hand. "This is a battle with swords not just some spar, as long as I'm breathing I'm not surrendering to a couple of pipsqueaks.” Getting a good grip on his blade he held it over his shoulder, releasing a strange golden chakra from his body, spreading it through the battlefield and engulfing the two shinobi to install a dreadful fear in them that would make them unable to move. But he wasn't entirely in sympathetic. "How about this, I'll give each of you one hit each before I pulverized you two. Come on! Show me what you got!”

She stared at the lone behemoth and his golden chakra illuminating him. He was one of those guys, the annoying, cocky self-centered type of guy. However, there was another problem. A flare had been shot up and it was that annoying searchlight woman again. She had survived the last round of attacks but the Santaru was going to make sure she would not survive this one."Go to sleep already...Dragon Fire!"This would be something she did not expect, Soku was not all about lightning, she had dabbled in the other elements too. A wave of fire rushed at the woman increasing in size as it got closer burning anything in it's path. There would be more on the way and they had to take care of Tetsujin before they got there, easier said then done however.
"Alright Hoheto, that sharingan could come in really handy right now."She said eyeing the behemoth as he got charged up.
latest

"Battle of the Blades? So be it then. Let's see if you move as fast as your mouth does."With a zzzzzing, the blade rose up at him going for a slash to the chin. The true intent of taking him head-on was to distract the man from Hoheto whom hopefully would be able to conjur up some magic with those eyes of his."Over here, slow-poke!"A small, black shuriken flew at him whirling at lightspeed!"Shadow Shuriken Jutsu."The one shuriken suddenly multiplied into five, flying at him from a variety of directions! It wasn't about the crates now, it was merely trying to survive now. The flare would have been seen for miles and she could hear running sounds already of reinforcments."You could have made this easy on yourself.A fight with the ANBU, what were you thinking?"

Her brown hair locks flapped around in the breeze as Soku took a second's rest to analze the man's conditon."Oi! Hoheto! You ready yet?!"She said whipping her head to look at the young Uchiha. This would be all for naught if their plan crumbled right here and now. She glared down upon the bandit."I think it's time you learned a lesson in humility. Let me teach you."She flew at him again in a flurry of movements, her blade rising up and down. The young ANBU was light on her feet against the slow moving giant, if she could avoid his big sword while hacking away at him, this would be just like cutting cake. Smiling to herself thinking about cake while on a potentially life-threatening mission, what was wrong with her? This time, when she swung her blade, she did so intentionally at one of the crates slicing it open cleanly and crushing the contents that laid within."I'm willing to bet these are worth a good amount so here is how this is going to work. You put that down and come with us, I won't spread a word about what happened here tonight. However, if you decide to be a hero about it, I'll simply just keep crushing these boxes and leave you here battered and broken along with your cronies maybe even dead and when you wake up, you'll have no profit. You choose. With that, the girl waited her blade inching closer to the second crate ready to turn it to smithereens. It was a win-win situation, if he decided to give up and come, misson successful, if he didn't, she'd just keep crushing the crates. Although she didn't think Hoheto would be too happy about her damaging his precious clan eyes but unless he had a better plan, this was the only ace card they had, to use the smugglers cargo against them.

A blaze of light forced the corners of Hoheto's eyes to the roof. The uchiha in his rage had miscalculated the proceedings he saw after his last action. Believing his opponents dead, Hoheto had shifted his attention to the pirate he believed was alone, but now he saw different. His escaped target had signalled for reinforcements, increasing the odds against them which made him grit his teeth.
"Shit!" Hoheto flashed his eyes around, scanning the area for signs of hostile figures he knew to be on their way. He considered finishing off the lady but looking at Soku turn up the heat, he knew their options had been trimmed down to one--a countdown to besting Tetsujin in an all out brawl, before the others arrived.

The atmosphere around the trio tensed up and to the eyes of any present, the son of the fourth hokage and his ally appeared as a squared out meal before an insatiable predator awaiting a gruesome fate. Tetsujin believing this, questioned the measure of their strength, wearing an unwavering smile. He got a firm grip on his blade, giving a full swing which brought it to rest on his shoulders. Sparks of blue electrical energy cackled in his eyes as the giant charged up, releasing a golden wave of energy primed at inhibiting the leaf duo with fear; the like of which he believed they hadn't seen. But in the same moment, Hoheto shrugged off the effects of Tetsujin's overwhelming chakra; given the circumstance, this was nothing new albeit on a different scenerio. The uchiha's mind flashed back to his gruesome training with Maru. Compared to the demon known to be allied with the dark, Tetsujin was still fresh to the aspects of fear.

Hoheto while burning with rage wore a hidden smile knowing his training with Maru had paid off. His ears caught wind on Soku's strategy as she offered to distract Tetsujin, trusting on the info she had on the sharingan and Hoheto's deft use of it. Quickly, the boy flashed his red eyes on the giant's features following his haughty comments but said nothing. Tetsujin however, in the passing seconds would notice the shadows begin to cloak the area around him in darkness with eerie whispers following. The moonlit sky he had taken into account would vanish before his eyes as the oppressive darkness swallowed everything he had taken note of. Fading in bits, the floor around him gave way to the darkness, forcing him to remain obsolete in a world devoid of light. His ears would pick the growing whispers in the air around him as the darkness warred with his entirety, rapidly squeezing the life out of him.
If Soku paid any attention she would notice the giant trapped in a dream like state with his reactions merely follow up effects to the technique the uchiha kept active with his eyes and not of her attacks.

Before the lady pirate knew what was going on, she was engulfed in flames! Burning, Tetsujin chuckled to himself as the last of the bandits had met their unfortunate end. However the big man in charge was standing tall waiting to be attacked. “Better hurry up, and take me down. Because when my boys get here they'll be more than happy to beat the shit out of a couple of kids.” As he gloated, Soku rushed at him! A mad smile he let the girl show him what she had, only she ended up slashing at his chin which wasn't much. “Welp you just wasted your free shot.” Tetsujin said then he gripped a hold of his Signature Weapon and prepared to fight. The girl threw a shadow shuriken, a typically techniques that those wannabe ninja kids learn at the academy. The giant used his golden chakra to channel it to his blade he began slashes around him, forming a barrier like sphere of… well hacking and slashing! Cutting shuriken to pieces, blood dripped from the pirate's chin as he rushed at the girl.

“Come on pipsqueak, let's see if you're worth my time.” The man gloated, bringing the blade over his head to send it crashing down, his aim was to both crush and slice the girl who was lucky enough to move from underneath it before the attack did any damage! As the blade slammed to the ground, the earth below it exploded, that was how strong the attack had been. The girl taking slashes at him, I'm which he didn't even try to dodge but each attack lead to him following up with a monstrous attack of his own. Swinging his blade in an assault of slashes, each one missing and in return the girl sliced him. His blood splattering here, his clothes shredding there, but he began to laugh. “Yeah this is what I want to see pipsqueak!” The man seemingly was enjoying himself, only this enjoyment only lasted until she swug the her blade at one of the crates!!

“WHAT DO YA THINK YOU'RE DOING?!” Tetsujin yelled, taking a more serious tone. Killing his crew, alright. Attacking him fine with him. Smashing the crates that contained the rubies of his. That was a no-no now it was time to show them the true power of his signature weapon. “Look I was going easy on you since you kids are puny. But you're messing with my meal ticket while I'm alive. Now I'm gonna obliterate you.” He said as flames took his sword, fusing an A Rank Fire ninjust with his mighty signature weapon to prepare a strike that would blow the girl away! However he wasn't paying attention to the boy, as soon as he looked at the boy he flashed his red eyes at him. Shit, he wasn't expecting to fight a Uchiha he was easily ensnared by his genjustu. He thought the boy might have been too scared to move, but it looks like he was playing possum until he looked him in the eyes.

Tetsujin had now notice that the shadows beginning to take whole, an inky darkness slowly closing in on him and sinister whispers closed in. The man was all muscle and no brains so he began to slash at the darkness. "Shit. I've got Gened!” He said, then as the darkness closed in it began to suffocate him…

In the real world Tetsujin looked to be in a dream like state, the man unfortunately was weak against genjustu as thought. Hacking, slashing, hitting hard was all he knew… But there was one thing that they didn't count on. His signature weapon! The signature weapon of the pirate typically had develop facets of human personalities which allows the semi-sentient weapon to aid their Tetsujin in overcoming situations where their senses have been compromised. His sword began to glow, then spikes stabbed through the man's hand snapping him back to the real world! The giant stood tall, bleeding from his hand and from the cuts all over his body. “Heh! Bet you bastards didn't count on my sword canceling you dumbass genjustu huh?! Thats how Im able to steal those eyes." The man boasted. “Now the real fight starts here.”

Tetsujin began focusing all his power to loose his sanity, by doing this he can do an insane amounts of damage while at the same time tearing up their own body due to the ferocity of the attack, leaving them extremely defenseless. But if there are no enemies left, who cares about the damage hell sustained!

The man had clearly lost his mind now and his blade was now a light with flames. This was bad..very bad."Hoheto? Any ideas?"She asked while eyeing the madman before them. Fine then if he wanted to play this game, she'd just keep toying with him. In response, she kicked a second crate her foot breaking cleanly through the box as the jars of eyes shattered at the force and lay in pieces at Tetsujin ' s feed, shards of glass littered everywhere. She inhaled deeply before letting it all out. It was time to get serious, and when a Santaru got serious, the result could be frightening even for this behemoth. The sky suddenly underwent a change in weather patterns as a overcast settled in and dark clouds begin to blot out the sky and the air began to pick up,"Challenge accepted, you big baby."

There was a boom and a black lightning bolt struck the remaining crate frying anything that remained within."Storm Tempest Jutsu."The wind picked up to a howl then raindrops began to litter the ground but these were not ordinary raindrops. They contained acidic content so once they made contact with the skin, it would sear away at the flesh burning off skin hairs and cells and continue to burn unless stopped and there was the problem, very few jutsus could counter a Acid Style mixed with a Storm Element attack."Change in chakra natures plus a combination jutsu. It's a new jutsu I learned."She said glaring down the one eyed man. If he survived this which she highly doubted, she had one last means of defense although she wished not to use it and that was the Volt Whip which she kept coiled and strapped on her back disguised as a coil of rope.

No reinforcements had arrived and she intended to keep it that way. Soku made a hand sign and the water level rose flooding the street and the warehouse within and she could hear the shouts of rage and anger as the others attempted to reach their leader. "I don't think your "boys" are getting here anytime soon, at least not while we are here. Isn't that right, Hoheto?"The Uchihas sharingan was activated and even though he had cast a genjutsu on Tetsujin, the smuggler had shrugged it off forcing her to raise the stakes higher. There were no civillians around so she didn't have to worry about damage control.

For once, the kunoichi let loose her chakra and the clouds roared their support pouring down the acidic rain which burned away at any material it touched. She had made sure that Hoheto was not caught in the rain using her abilty to freely manipulate the forces of nature."I'll ask you again. Do you want to die here or come quietly and we don't have to make you whimper like a beat dog."She said coldly staring down the bloodied man. The ANBU already knew the anwser would be a resounding no but maybe he'd surprise her. The likelihood of him surrendering was nil and all three of them knew this would end only way, either he cut them into little pieces of flesh or they slew him where he stood. They had already dispatched the other bandis, she had no remorse about killing one more. This was no longer a misson to arrest some two-bit thugs, this was a battle to the death where there could be only one winner and Soku was not interested in coming in second place, because in this contest of blades, there was no second place.

Taken a few moments back in time, the inquisitive uchiha had wondered why Tetsujin clung to his seemingly uninteresting weapon inspite of its dull edges and easy to read attacks; a sword that massive simply had one purpose, to keep enemies at bay and yet the genin sensed an extra purpose to it. To what spare cause then did it serve besides splitting flesh from bone? The uchiha had kept to himself.

From his conclusion, Tetsujin was the strongest ninja he'd faced yet, boasting of overwhelming chakra, physical strength and stamina in monstrous proportions to classify him devine but he suffered greatly with a mental capability far below his seemingly infinite strength. Hoheto had wondered how a man so weak in will had managed such a feat considering the sharingan's innate ability to intrude and manipulate the minds of unintelligent individuals like his. The answer to this mystery the young uchiha thought he would never know unless he infiltrated the mind of the pirate as he aimed to observe how Tetsujin would escape from it as he had often done.

Drawn to the present, Hoheto watched in surprise as Tetsujin compromised the effects of his Technique. Unexpectedly, the pirate had done so with the bright glow that emanated from his trusty sentient weapon. Should he ever fall into gentsuju, the blade was tasked with his release by inflicting injury and causing the pirate sufficient pain to return his concciousness to him. Battered with the white of his jagged kimono bloodied, Tetsujin stood tall with a grin; a proud man as ever, defying the prickling sensations willed upon him by the edge of Soku's razor sharp blade. Despite his perilous injury, the haughty giant wasn't conservative with his words; he gave a grisly remark which suggested to Hoheto, there was plenty of fight in him still. Indeed the uchiha to recognise he was a force to be reckoned with.

Hoheto narrowing his eyes in caution, observed the pirate insane transformation. Taken by the burst of chakra emanating from the pirate, the uchiha had come to expect the unexpected from the giant. Along with Soku, it troubled his mind and immediately, he sought out a strategy to put down the pirate following Soku's question.

"The blade, we should rid him of it" Hoheto replied. He had scarcely finished his remark when his eyes noticed a change in Soku's chakra. Judging from the flow of her spiritual energy, Hoheto picked up a switch in her personality. The santaru had decided to take a different approach to things; a frightening approach. She wasn't going to listen to the boy's plan. Rather than separate the pirate from his weapon she had deemed it best to wipe away both trace of their existence. In a go, Hoheto watched with his eyes wide in surprise as Soku demonstrated the destructiveness of some of the most powerful techniques in her arsenal. Reduced to a mere spectator, he remained behind Soku content with the spectacular showing his eyes bore witness to.

Tetsujin glowed as the insane amount of chakra broke his sanity, his psyche completely destroyed, all rational thinking was out of the window. All Tetsujin can do now, is fight! He rushed at the girl, swinging his blade at the girl once again trying to take the girls head but missed due to her kicking the crates of eyes that shot debris everywhere so he ended up nicking the top part of her head before he drew back. The sky getting noticeably darker, the girl surprised him by transforming the rain into acid. This made Tetsujins skin sissle but he seemingly wasn't fazed or in the most part he didn't cry out in pain despite being battered. But just acid rain alone won't be enough to melt him away because his chakra armor from losing his insanity kept him from sustaining maximum damage! So the girl now chose to whip out her little whip as though and rose the water level to keep his boys from coming.

But as she spoke to the Uchiha brat who took a backseat to watch, he gave the girl a hard TIGER HOOK to the chin in hopes that'll shut her up. If all goes well, it might would've stun her but she ended up countering with more acid rain to melt him down but he began to produce another barrier of slashes to protect himself before he came at them again. “Thats a dumbass question!” He said as he took a step-in flash to give the girl a fast punch to the gut which was only to stun her before backing up then took two basic slashes at the Soku which sliced through her little armor and creating an “X” on her chest and since the Uchiha didn't bother to attack he rushed in to deliver a headbutt to the girl to make her go flying inside of the warehouse if all went as he'd hope.

Then the mad swords man looked over at the Uchiha, giving the boy a leering grin. Giving his sword a tight grip he laughed."Your turn!” He exclaimed before sending him a assault of slashes against his helpless target, he took at least 10 strikes in hopes shredding his body, avoiding vital spots so he could have a little fun. But make no mistake, the kid was on to something when he talked about disarming him. If he didn't have his signature weapon he would be weak against his genjustu, that means that they would be able to finished this fight against this giant quickly… that was if they can disarm the man before he can beat them down.

…..
Meanwhile:

"Oi how the hell did the water rose! It was clear just a moment ago.” A loud thug wearing a tan bandana around his mouth as a ninja mask spat. There were about 10 or maybe 15 of those thugs on the other side of the mysterious river who wanted to help iron man out, Tetsujin’s street name known around the city of thieves. Some tired to swim in it but unfortunately they were washed away never to be seen again. The mean on the other side couldn't do nothing but hope that the boss doesn't get beat down, he took out many of those red eyed edge lords so he should be fine! But some of the gang had grim looks as though this might be the end of this business. No more selling eyes and having huge drinking partys. No more iron man protecting them.

The Santaru stumbled back realizing her mistake too late as Tetsujin pushed his onslaught delivered a hard hook and following it up with a nick to the chin which drew blood."Agh!"Cursing out loud, she flicked the whip at him which was rebuffed quickly when he swung the blade slicing cleanly through her ANBU scar leaving a mark on her chest."You're not bad...but not good enough!"The girl clutched her side as blood begin to drip. It didn't help that Hoheto merely cowered behind her while she took the brunt of the damage he was unleashing. She turned to the Uchiha literally screaming at him."GET YOUR BUTT UP AND DO SOMETHING BEFORE HE KILL US!"

The man rushed at Hoheto his blade a flurry of movements as he swung at the boy. It was that blade...somehow it was enhancing his abilities and if they could wrench it from his grasps, this would not be as difficult as it currently was. With a great deal of effort, Soku managed to lift herself to her feet and recovered her whip watching as Tetsujin busied himself on attacking Hoheto."All I have to do is loop this around that sword of his and wrench it away and we'll be fine. The girl had been beaten, sliced and thrown into a damn warehouse but hopefully still had the energy to utilize a whip.

Breathing slowly, her chakra settled down and the dark clouds focused the darkness intensifying so it was almost pitch black even though in all actuality, it was the daytime. Slowly, she began a circular motion twirling the whip above her head her eyes watching the blades movement and motion paths as it swung over and over."Just hang in there a bit longer, Hoheto."The motion got faster and finally after what seemed like a eternity of spinning, she launched the whip looping it around the sword and pulled with all her might."I think we have had quite enough of that."If the sword was broken free from his grasp, he would be like a deer caught in headlights.

The whip was not her only means of defense however. Tetsujin did not know hi ever there was a clone amongst them, in fact the clone she had woven signs while he was busy with Hoheto. It now appeared leaping at the bandit a Chidori forming in the clones palm as she thrust it at his chest. "You got too focused on Hoheto, smuggler. That was your first mistake."The ANBU said smirking watching as the ball of lightning rushed at him, clearly aiming for a one hit K.O. She was now panting as Soku struggled to maintain the storm she was casting, it was vital no one else intervene.

Biting her tongue as she focused, she gave a twitch to her fingers and there was a roar, a terrifying roar that could be heard for miles, A thunderbolt flashed down in front of her and formed into the shape of a beast, growling and snapping at the scene in front of it." Behold my Lightning Beast."Soku said motioning to it as it stood there waiting, waiting for a command. "Tonight you feast on human flesh."It gave a roar of approval and with shocking speed charged the smuggler baring it's fangs to sink into the sweet juicy human skin hunger lurking in its throat.

Soku's rant came as a surprise to the uchiha who said nothing with his line of sight shifted to the distressed kunoichi. She had taken several blows from the pirate and was crouched down in pain with an arm to her side in a way as to alleviate the throbbing sensations she felt around her body. Tetsujin on the other hand readily accepted the opportunity to attack the uchiha whose concentration he knew was broken. Luckily, the pirate's heavy steps betrayed him. His first strike met with the edge of the uchiha's kunai producing orange sparks of fire. Locking horns, the duo persisted in a show of physical strength which Tetsujin emerged victorious; he tossed the boy forwards, launching himself at the uchiha with a flurry of slashes afterwards. "Clang!… Clang!!" the clash of steel continued as Hoheto reacted to the pirate's unending assault but only just barely; he had the sharingan to thank for his life. Moreover, he was light on his toes. It would seem, against his quickness, Tetsujin's powerful strikes were not absolute. "You may be stronger pirate but I'm faster. In a one on one battle, speed overcomes power 69% of the time" he teased, alert in his guard as he danced and twired out of the pirate's reach. Though only at heart, Hoheto seemed content with the pirate's attention on him. He priortised Soku's recovery over switching to the offensive, knowing fully well he lacked the fire power to put down the giant, doing so would only get him knocked into rubble. The uchiha's looks said naught of his intent as his unwillingness to get hit he saw excited Tetsujin the more. Never mind that it would appear a petty move for one the pirate believed so wise—the same one he'd seen professed a Grand Plan to break him from his weapon. Regardless, Tetsujin was certain to keep his attacks coming, already impressed by the genin's defenses. His focus Hoheto believed was landing a hit. And if he continued he was sure to get one as parrying his fierce strikes cost a great deal of stamina. However If the lad could hold his own till the santaru returned, his fortune may well change. "Come on!" he voiced out retreating backwards following Soku's reassuring stance as he dropped to his knees nearing his limit. Tetsujin noticing the uchiha's decline, followed in pursuit. His advancing steps the santaru halted with her whip around his blade. She pulled with what strength she could muster, drawing Tetsujin's attention away from her clone which appeared before him with the blue electrical energy around its palm aimed at his chest. More darkness followed in the scene around them as the santaru took control of the skies; a scouring storm that would lay waste to everything antiquated and corrupt. The task before her was at once daunting, and in the eye of the cycloning storm, the uchiha could hear the far awar rumbling of thunder. Lightning fell from the sky taking the shape of a beast at the twitch of her fingers. Hoheto watched in amazement as Soku sent it rampaging towards the pirate with the flick of her wrist. "My, she's terrifyingly amazing" he thought to himself retreating from the area.

"Heh, heh, heh!” The giant spat that of a battle cry as he hacked and slashed at the Uchiha. He knew that the girl would have been out, she had been beaten, sliced and knocked into the warehouse where more of his precious eyes sat. The pirate clashed blades with the puny Uchiha, he was fast but Tetsujin was way stronger than these pipsqueaks. He attacked, and attacked, slashing and hacking but the Uchiha was able to keep up with him. Anyone else would be dead, or beaten down by now but it didn't matter how he lasted this long. All he wanted to do was FIGHT. With a final clash of blades he smiled down at him, licking blood from the side of his mouth he grinned wide. “And the other percent would be me breaking your legs and ripping those eyes outta your head.” He laughed, before pushing the Genin back before raising his sword over his head and was about to send it down to crush the boy under the weight of that sword until–

Slish!!!

The giant was so focused on beating the Uchiha that he didn't see the clone thrusted a chidori into his chest. The man coughed up blood, his eyes widen in agony as the chidori sent electricity through his body while the blade pierced his chest. ‘That little!’ furious, he went for the throat of the girl then lifted her up and slammed her down causing the earth to shatter but then the clone vanished. As he stood there, blood gushing from his chest like a water fountain his sword was torn from his loose hands. His vision went in, then out but the man stood there strong. There was no way that he would lose to two little brats trying to play hero, guess his reckless nature got the best of him this time and he couldn't come back from this. “...Heh… looks like you pipsqueaks got me.. But I still got four minutes to beat the crap outta you bastards…” *cough* *cough* blood came from his mouth and dripped down to the ground before taking a step to the duo. “Come on!” He ran, still coming at them not with the same strength that he had before. He was a lot slower, beaten, and his body aches.

He knew now that he wasn't dealing with weaklings, the pipsqueaks were trained far beyond what was expected of some Genin Shinobi, the odds were stacked against him. However, he wasn't going to simply surrender to them, he still had enough for one last justu before he goes into that good night. Both fists gunned for the children with a technique known as the fist of sin. The damage accumulated over the battle began to rear its ugly head each movement bringing stress onto his body, bones grinding and organs crying out to stop the act of combat. But of course he wasn't going to stop fighting. All the Uchiha's he's killed, all the strong shinobi who tried to take him down and failed only to be brought down by a couple of children. The thought alone made the giant furious. He didn't care if they had a Uchiha, some Anbu girl.. Oh and some lighting dog. He lived to fight and will die fighting!

…..

The storm raged on, the gang of pirates suck behind a raging river seemed to continue to block.their way, there was no way to get to the goods in time and the Anbu might end up here at any moment now. The thug in the tan mask didn't want to leave the goods there, but what choice did they have. If they all got busted, then they'll all go to prison or end up execute. The man in the tan mask raised his hand, “Common! Let's get outta here, konoha Anbu would be here any minute now.” A bit unsure, they began to scatter, then run in all direction to get out of the area.. Tetsujin was on his own..

Tetsujin was nearly beaten but nowhere near finished. Retreating a few steps, she observed as the bloodied man consumed by his own rage shot forward, his fists rising to make contact with the shinobi. However, his attack would be short-lived. Soku merely snapped her fingers and watched as the Lightning based beast by her side launched at the bandit sinking it's teeth into the smugglers neck seeking to end this atrocity here and now. "You were too confident in your own powers, that was your first mistake. Your second was refusing to die which I will solve promptly for you."Soku said coldly her hair untwirling out of her bun and it in fell in great brown locks to her shoulder flapping around giving her a savage wild look. With a glare that could kill, the Santaru leapt forward ignoring the pain in her limbs and managed to loop the whip around the smugglers feet pulling at it so he would trip and fall while being burnt to a crisp by the electrical current running through the whip.

The raging thunderstorm finally let up due to Soku's chakra not being able to maintain it anymore, that was when she saw the remainder of the pirates scurrying off, one of them had a most peculiar tan mask. Shrugging, she whistled and the lightning beast stopped feasting on a bandits corpse and in great bounds dashed after the goons emitting low growls to let them know it had only one intention and that was to kill or be killed. The kunoichi brushed off some blood that had been splashed on her during the conflict and looked at Hoheto."You ok?"She asked giving him a small smile. It was interesting how Soku could go from deathly cold to a warm, friendly loving person. It was almost scary in a sense.

She then made her way towards what remained of the warehouse and ripping open the crates which revealed Uchiha eyes in the thousands. They could be easily disposed of to shut down the smuggling gang but it would be a insult to the Uchiha boy just to simply do away with his clan eyes in such a reckless manner. She decided to follow his lead on this one."Your call, Hoheto. What do you want do with these crates."She said nudging a crate with her foot so it toppled over and jars rolled out containing the Sharingan pupils. She couldn't bear to imagine how many Uchiha had perished to support this smuggling profit. It made her sick to her stomach.

The aftermath of the storm lay before them. Bodies flung everywhere, broken pieces of wood and washed up debris lay littered in the street. Tetsujin blade lay there gleaming bloodied with his owners blood, dead or alive , she didn't know. Walking over, she prodded the man with her foot."Hey! You alive, you runt?" He did have a Chidori slam into him full impact and it would be a miracle if Tetsujin somehow was still breathing but better safe than sorry. Her eyes next turned to his sword which lay at her feet. It was quite enormous for its size and Soku would not be capable of lifting it."This could probably fetch a good price in one of the village shops."She said talking to Hoheto taking in the features of the blade and it's shape. It was a nice weapon. What a shame it was being wielded by someone so impure. She smiled placing her hand on her own blade which hung loosely from her waist. It had seen her through many battles and she couldn't imagine having to part with it.

"My body aches but thanks to you Soku I get to live" (fending off Tetsujin's blows cost a great deal and required everything he had). Hoheto bared his teeth a little, returning the smile. A blush seared through his cheeks and for a minute he thought his face was on fire. He suddenly felt awkward, demure and core; even going as far as hiding his comely features with his slim fingers.

When he unfurled them, Soku's posterior greeted his eyes. He watched as she strode forwards. Pray tell she didn't notice, he reels in thought lurching from behind. Into the warehouse he followed. Therein lay crates stacked in hundreds akin to the razed remains of the ones outside. Snagging a few open, he finds their contents all too similar. For a moment, his leaden eyes turned red underneath, whether from the constant irritation of powdered dirt afloat in the air or the substance faced before him, his hands hung limply over knees and tear rimmed eyes stared back at the crate with watery streaks washing down his grimy face as he stayed true to his character.

"we can't exactly hold onto these for safe keeping." His voice broke in a tremulous waver, the sort of lip-trembling whine one associates with an errant child who's been swiftly corrected in front of his peers. "Send them to the other side where their owners are in great need of them" he followed, pulling his now chaotic hair backwards as his lips stuck out a little in a bid to seal his leaking eyes, soaking his bandages with the tears from his cheeks which were now cloudless.

Adhering to Soku's lead, he happened upon Tetsujin's broadsword. On the other end was the pirate's quiescent body being probbed. A pitiable corpse he appeared, soon to be devoid of flesh and pitted by burrowing insects—far less than he deserved. His life did not in any way equate to the countless others he'd snuffed out Hoheto reasoned. Merely thinking about it knitted the uchiha's brows in rage. But he had Soku. The santaru's discourse came as a soothing balm that quelled his rage and chinked his lips open in a smile. "Maybe" Hoheto replies, fixing his eyes on Soku. "There are a few who'd be willing to move around with that" He followed, resting an arm to his side as he sought to relieve himself of dull persistent pain he felt about.

Witha simple snap of the girls fingers, the man was attacked by the lighting beast as he went in for a final attack. Falling down backwards as the lighting beast sunk its teeth into his flesh, the man didn’t even scream even though it was eating away at his flesh. If he wasn't as badly wounded, he may would've pulled through but not this time… Tetsujin was finally finished. He growled, muttering about how he wasn't done, but with the final nail in the coffin. He died by electrocution.. Motionless, the giant had long since stopped moving, there were bodies of the bandits littered throughout the battlefield. Most of them burnt to a crisp, some of them horribly mangled, and there were eyes littered about the ground. It would seem that they were done! They won against the sharingan pirates! The ANBU should be coming their any minute to, however there was a unfamiliar aura coming from… everywhere.

The atmosphere suddenly gotten a little darker, their shadows as they explored the warehouse began to take a different shape. Almost like an endless abyss of darkness. Then inky shadow like creatures crawled out of Soku's shadow like insects, they were all pitch black with glowing yellow eyes and claws. Most would find the presence of the creatures of darkness frightening, but if you were to look very closely.. You'd see that these shadow creatures had the strange resemblance of Maru! Of course, they weren't actually him but weird shades taking his shape but it was obvious that they weren't here for the duo… they wanted the bodies. There were three show creatures, but only one dark creature didn't actually look like Maru at all. The tallest of the dark creatures was his shadow minion, his goal simple as well. Collect the bodies, give a message.

The shadow creatures stood over Tetsujin’s body, the man beginning to sink into the endless abyss of his own shadow to be sent straight to Maru's workshop without a okay or thank you. They gathered up the all the other bodies, dragging one man with the giant shuriken in one hand with another big looking man in the other. The other shadow monster grabbed the man with the sideburns remains while picking up a couple of sharingan to pop them into its mouth before dragging the man away into the shadows never to be seen again. Finally, the tall shadow servant carried the burnt corpse of the woman, twisting its head to the duo to stare into their eyes… cocking its head to the side as it studied them for a moment… “Not…Material…” it groaned before slipping into the shadows, none of the bodies recovered.

Clearly, the clones and the shadow servant lacked the basic smarts and only came for the bodies. If anyone were to guess, Maru sent them when he saw the flare to see if they found anything he could use to make a human puppet out of. Possibly busy working on another puppet, and being tied to his work he could only send out a few dark creatures to do his work of harvesting the bodies. After all, Crater City was his home and since anything illegal here was legal, why not use some of the bodies for a hitogustu.

By the time they were done, the Anbu officers came as quickly as they could. The duo would collect a nice reward for their bravery despite the bodies not being found. But I guess…

She watched eyebrows raised as the creatures came to collect the bodies eventually slinking away into the deep darkness that surronded them. Only one person came to mind after witnessing such a speculation."Maru"The Santaru muttered utterly disgusted at the puppet masters methods. Reaching into her pouch, a roll of yellow tape was produced which the girl used to seal off the area and the duo waited for reinforcements to arrive."Pretty successful misson, don't ya think?"The kunoichi commented as they waited patiently on alert guarding the area in case Tetsujin ' s cronies decided to make a comeback and recover their lost property which had in a sense never really been theirs. This eyes belonged with their rightful owners and she knew the Uchiha Clan would be having a word or two with any remaining smugglers if there happened to be an. The scene of destruction before them had almost wiped out everyone within a miles radius and crates lay there Broken and battered and the warehouse looked Ike it was about to cave in onto it's self.

Soon, some senior ANBU ninja arrived indicating their release and quickly moved about the scene documenting and collecting whatever evidence remained on the turf."Thanks. You can go now. We'll take it from here." Soku nodded and patting Hoheto on the shoulder indicating for him to join her as she departed the horrific scene. Usually, she worked alone on assignments such as these so it felt good and a change to have a partner for a change and she voiced her gratefulness. "Thanks for tagging along on this one. It helps to have a partner sometimes. Perhaps we'll run into each other another time, yeah?"Soku said a loose grin creeping onto her features as they came to a bend in the road. "This is where we part ways. Take care."GGiving a farewell gesture to the genin, Soku headed off humming a tune, her blade sheathed and her whip hung from her back the coils of it a bit frayed from today's skirmish. She'd have to see a blacksmith about that but for now, she was in a spirited mood having successfully accomplished her first misson which involved some people
to beat up.

The glistening and looming structures of the Village Hdden In The Leaves came into view and she stopped for a second enjoying the image. "Home sweet home." Striding forward, the gate guards nodded seeing her ANBU attire and the huge gates emblazoned with the Leaf logo swung forward to admit her. Nodding once to the men, the girl stepped through making a beeline to the branch HQ to submit her misson report and collect the proper amount of yen. She approached a tiny run down wooden shack and knocked in code voicing her code name. It opened revealing a man with a ANBU mask concealing his features. He held out his palm as if expecting something. She handed him a tightly bound scroll containing the misson contents and waited. He disappeared inside for a second and returned thrusting a pouch of coins at her. Satisfied with the payout, Soku turned heel and went back the way she
d came, a good six grand in her hand which she placed inside her ANBU plated vest for safe-keeping.
