Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

7:45 am, 15 min before class

Kyoko's eyes were trained on the direction of the academy the whole walk there. Her father like usual walked her there ever since the incident that sent her to the hospital. " You alright kyoko", he asked her with smile. She looked up at him and nodded her head and gripped her books tighter. " Try to enjoy your day at school my little one and pay attention. Your teacher says you're always looking away". She nodded again and exhaled, as if she were holding her breath. Looking up at her dad right before the school gate she said, " S'okay father. c'ya later", she said with a grin. Both of them noticed her shakey voice, but niether addressed it. "Ya gotta let her stand on her own y'know"? Her father didn't acknowledge the voice at first, but rather chose to keep his cool even though it bothered him. " Yea yea I know, but she worries the heck out'ta me".

Kyoko walked through the school yard nervously, keeping her head down and gaze averted when she could. A few of her classmates did make a jeer or two, but most were preoccupied with a different subject. She paused momentarily to hear that a new student was joining them that day. He was a late registry, but was apparently from a scary family. She paused at the doorway headed inside the building before heading off to class 2E, where she would be learning fire style ninjutsu due to her newly found blood line. She stood at the door for a couple of minutes sighing to herself. "I would'ah liked to join the water class".

The first day of the academy had started and Ryuma was late. Though this was not his norm, he had managed to get himself lost on the way to school. His father again just let him loose into the city with no directions. "If you can't get there alone. You don't deserve to be there." Were the exact words his father stated to him before he shut the door to the house and locked it. Though aggressive it was rather tame for his fathers normal level of behavior. Next was the very rushed adventure through the city trying to figure out where the school was. Though rushed it was not quick and a few hours had passed since he left the house and still didn't seem to know where the school was. Ryuma had been removed from the house hours before school started, as of yet he wasn't late, but soon he would be. His lucky break came as he came around a corner and bumped into an older shinobi.

The older man chuckled as he helped Ryuma get back on his feet. "Where ya headed little buddy?" The older shinobi ruffled his hair with a huge smile on his face as he asked the question. Without thought Ryuma knocked his head away and got very defensive. "I'm heading to school. I'm not your buddy." Crossing his arms Ryuma barged past the older man, marching on as though he knew where he was going. "TURN RIGHT AND STRAIGHT DOWN THAT ROAD! OH, TELL KYOKO I SAID HI!" The older shinobi yelled out to Ryuma as he waved. Letting out a heavy sigh Ryuma turned right and followed his directions. "I didn't need his help. Hmph"

Here he stood now at the academy gates. A bell rang and the doors began to close. The school had started and the kids had vacated the hallways, there was nothing but Ryuma wondering the halls as he wasn't even sure where he was supposed to be. After enough wondering he eventually ended up at a teacher lounge, where a few teachers who hadn't started there day were resting. Walking in he demanded some help, and though they didn't approve of his tone one of the teachers escorted him to his class. Class 2E.

The teacher escorting him knocked on the door and they were greeted by the teacher of the class. "Ah, this must be young Ryuma. Well come on in. We don't have all day, young man." She spoke as she reached out and grabbed his arm pulling him into the room. "LET GO!" Ryuma yelled as he yanked his arm back and out of his grasp. Glaring at the teacher as he did so.

"Face the class." she whispered into his ear. "Okay, class 2E meet your newest edition. Nataya, Ryuma." Smiling as she spoke in a louder than normal voice, she waved a palm behind Ryuma as to showcase him to the class. "Now where to seat you? Hmmmmm, Ah there in the back corner. Oh, and you should say hi to the class, maybe tell us something about yourself." The woman smile never waned as she looked down at the boy with encouraging eyes.

He spoke not a word. Quietly and without looking around he walked back to his seat in the corner. Not a single acknowledgment escaped from his form. No gestures, sighs, or words.

"Well Class let's begin?"

5 minutes before class

Kyoko began to ascend the staircase with the same absent expression looking around the room when a couple of boys saw what she was doing. Their eyes tracked where she was looking, to find nothing in particular was there. "Did'cha see anythin", he said after spitting a loogey into the aisle. Another boy picking his nose absentmindedly shook his head and the girl next to him shook her head as well. "You reckon it's some sort of genjutsu that she fell for"? The lead kid stomped his foot and glared forward, " Don't insult me idiot. You think I, a Nara would not see something she did"? His companions sitting across the aisle nodded their heads before chuckling nervously, " Yea yea she's just wierd. Stuck up uchiha trying to hide'er name eh"? He nodded and looked back at her as she sat with her legs sticking out into the aisle and her torso twisted so she could take some notes. "Gotta a good idea, but let's wait for practice eh"?

Kyoko unaware of everyone else began to pull out her note taking instruments. T'was not special, but she neatly lined up a notebook with an eraser and two pencils. That's when she saw the unfamiliar fellow being dragged into the room. He had a scowl etched into his face and sharp eyes, that of a cage predator's. The class looked upon him curiously as the teacher told him to introduce himself. He didn't speak up though, maintaining his scornful demeanor. Kyoko looked onward with a sigh as her thoughts started to race bit by bit. Her eyes opened wide and she gasped as her memory rushed back into the forefront. "He...he...rock boy"?

"Kyoko raise your hand ", the teacher said as she began to set up for class. There was no response for a moment, as Kyoko lowered her head in an futile attempt to hide herself. She sighed and pointed at the skittish girl and said, " There's your new neighbor, don't mind her. She's harmless. NOW THEN CLASS, turn to page 20 of your manuals. We'll get started on basic hand seals",

Sitting at his desk he listened as the teacher droned on about basic hand seals, simple knowledge that any student should already be aware of yet it was being taught. The lesson seemed to take forever and as the teacher droned on his mind began to wonder. He started looking around the room for a target to garner himself some entertainment, or even something he could do to throw the teacher off guard. That's when he noticed the girl to his left was familiar. Something about her anxious and aloof demeanor caught his eye. He knew he had seen her before, but where? The thought fled almost as quickly as it arrived, if she had done something to catch his attention he wouldn't have forgotten her.

As the teacher was begining to wrap her lesson. A thought rushed to the forefront of his mind. Kyoko was the name of the girl sitting next him, and that man who helped him earlier when he didn't need mentioned a Kyoko. "arghhh" He mumbled to himself as he scratched his head. That little twerp next to him must be related to the man who helped him out earlier in finding his way to school. That meant he must have been returning from the school and escorting her here. She was a problem, if that was the case. He didn't like the idea of someone at this age needing to be escorted to school like some weakling. Quickly two claps rang through the classroom and snapped him back to reality.

"Class its time for some hands on training. Everyone line up at the door. We will be heading over to the small outdoor training room." The teacher spoke as she started gathering up some belongings and the class began to line up in a single file line. "Chop. Chop. We do not have all day children." Another set of claps rang from her hands as spoke. The last bit of the class got in line. Ryuma stood at the very back right behind Kyoko as they began to walk through the hallway and towards the small training area for new students.

Kyoko for the most part had avoided the boy's gaze, for fear of being eaten alive. He moved like immature lion, but a lion nonetheless. She stared ahead during class and concentrated on making detailed and organized notes to occupy her him. Her eyes were sharp and mind could be honed when she wasn't trembling in fear. Today wasn't one of those days, as her notes were fairly messy and missing huge chunks of actual content. A bead of sweat slid down her forehead as the clock's big hand struck 12, signaling the start of a new hour. Their teacher in her same daughtering manner, urged the chilled with a hint of urgency to go forth to their next lesson. Kyoko slowly descended the steps to line up for the next class, but could not shake off the dread she felt behind her. She dared not peek at her neighbor or the direction he was probably in, for fear of him lashing out at her.She kept her arms close to her chest and head down, effectively losing an inch or two on her stature as the rest of the kids in class stood proud and tall for the most part. The Nara boy peered at her as she looked to the ground, with an expression of disgust.

" Something wrong nara"?

The teacher smirked as he shuttered and flailed his arms for a moment before composing himself. "Nothing, nothing at all, teacher". With that she nodded and lead the class to their the outdoor field, one of the only places in the sand with grass. The lesson for the day was practical application time, where the students would be expected to show off the fruits of their studies home and at school, depending on a teacher's challenge. Students walked up and began to show off their skills one by one. Some opted to show off their kunai training, sending several daggers flying perfectly into different marks on the field. Others began to execute their jutsu, most of which were nothing special. A water bullet here or a gust of wind there. They were all E ranked jutsu and as such, the worst most could do was throw something off guard. Kyoko watched in amazement as each of her classmates showed off some sort of specialty. She gawked at the creation jutsu especially, as boys from the senju clan made more dummies for the class to target. The teacher pat their heads and fondly stared out at them as well, because even though they were crude, they possessed a child like charm in the rough edges and excessively thin arms. Which were accentuated by the large torso each dummy seemed to have. "As expected of the senju. But you see those large trunks"?

She strolled out to run her fingers across one to show direct the classes attention, while the senju boys merely blushed with cherry red cheeks at the display. "Let this not only be a lesson to you senju, but to the rest of the class as well. Chakra control is a precise art. If you concentrate too much of your spiritual energy toward the center of your jutsu, it will deform it and more importantly, make you expend excessive chakra ". The proud boys lowered their heads as a few kids jeered at em for obviously concentrating too much on the center of their trunks. "Now now children, they did a good job for now. Let's put these targets to good use". In that moment Nara had excused himself to the bathroom with the permission of the teacher's aide, while his friend took the center stage with a few other kids. He began to make hand seals as his friend shouted out, "F-F-F-FIRE ST---YLEEEE". The teacher tried to dash toward the girl who seemingly about to sneeze as she inhaled for her jutsu, when the kids around her began to disperse. " Everyone calm down, it's okay"! yelled the aide, as the little kids tried to flee. Kyoko also tried to move, but her legs wouldn't budge. Her arms were not her own and her head wouldn't look away from the girl casting the jutsu. "Ahhhh...ahhhh...ahhh", she stuttered. "FIRE B-B-Buh-BALL JUTSU"!

The girl's flames erupted into the area and into the sky as she sneezed, causing fire to rain down upon the area. Kyoko though could only watch as the fire came closer and closer, her legs wouldn't budge and by the time they would, the attack was already about to hit her. "tch bingo...Oh no watch out kyoko"! He exclaimed as the fire ball neared the petrified girl.

As they entered the small field, Ryuma's demeanor shifted from overbearing to much lighter and loose. As the field meant they would get to show off skills and maybe even get to spar with each other. Following the class he walked over to the far wall as the students were instructed to stay behind a line that was painted in the grass, unless their name was called. This was the start of the skill show off. One by one students were called up to the other side of the line and were allowed to show any skill of their choosing. These varied from martial techniques to ninjutsu techniques, and one student even got to show off a very weak genjutsu. About halfway through the class a few members of the senju clan were allowed to step forward together and show off their skills. Their generate new training dummies for the class, but they were ill formed. Usable, but not proper for a training dummy. This lead the teacher to explain that when you are creating some your chakra has to be as evenly dispersed as possible or you can warp your creation.

After this short lesson the class returned to its roll call skill show off. The next student up was a young girl with bright red hair who performed the hand seals for a fire style jutsu. Just as she was about to complete the jutsu she sneezed throwing off all her chakra control and shot the loosely put together fireball into the sky. The giant ball of flame slowly fell apart and turned into chunks of raining flame. Students ran to the wall and some even used whatever water jutsu they could to put out the falling flames. Ryuma stood in the midst of the chaos with a smile as he watched the fire rain down from above. His focused broken when he heard another student yell for Kyoko to watch out. He remember she was the girl sitting next to him in class and was in front of him in line. The girl who seemed so timid was now just standing there in the middle of the chaos. She appeared terrified.

This was the perfect chance for Ryuma to show off his skills and to gain an extra favor or two. Quickly he unleashed a flurry of kunai without a second thought above Kyoko's head. They tore apart the small bits of fire that would have hit her if she did act. As the kunai cut through the flames he grabbed her by the collar and quickly moved her to the wall with force. Not enough force to hurt her, but enough to wake her from her petrified state. Looking around he spotted the young boy who yelled for her to watch out, and the look on his face was not one of concern. It was one of happiness. The boy clearly had something to do with this or had some hand in wanting to hurt Kyoko, but that wasn't what caught Ryuma's attention. It was the simple fact that the boy was happy about what was happening, this meant Ryuma could have a rival. Someone with whom he could fight to his fullest without them turning into a blabbering mess, at least that is what he thought he was seeing.

Turning back to Kyoko who was now against the wall Ryuma had a all to terrifying look in his eyes. "You owe me." He snarled at her as the thoughts that raced through his head as he got pumped for a potential intense sparring match. The rest of the fire rained down and was put out by the teachers who proceeded to continue on with the day as though nothing had happened. Back to the skills board and the next student up was called. They had another seven students left and then it was time for lunch.

Kyoko grit her teeth and clenched his fists as she told her body to move, but the fear of the fire ball overtook her senses. It was only at the last moment that a couple of kunai flew out as the crowd around her gasped. The teachers who were about to intervened, paused with awe as initial embers were put out by ryuma with an unnatural fluidity. Before she could react she felt something tug at her neck, causing her to reflexively react for her collar as she was tossed into the equipment shed. She hit the wall with a blunt thud, and slid down slowly to a sitting position. She looked up with a panicked expression to see Ryuma's icey gaze, who was just as scary as the jutsu was. She trembled and could only nod her head reflexively when he told her she owed him a debt. The girl simply looked in his direction as he turned away."Y-Y-yyes. th-thanks The world became a blur, to where even the commotion the class was making lost all distinction. The class was too wrapped up in the moment to really care about kyoko and the teachers following the school's policy didn't check up on her. Legally they were supposed to keep her alive, but not necessarily make sure she was mentally okay.

"OKAY STUDENTS, THOSE WHO CAN CONTINUE LINE UP"! The teacher barked with her hands cupped around her mouth to project her commands to all those who were present.""I'm starving you little bastards". Kyoko stumbled to her feet and tried to rub the snot and tears from her face with her sleeve, but forgot about the sand. The particles stuck to her nose and irritated her eyes. As she stumbled forward the kids around her looked upon her with contempt, while a few actually jeered at her. " Eyy stupid! Too 'fraid to even run away"? A girl's voice barked at her side, long nails dug into her bicep and lifted her up to her feet. " The line's up here stupid. I want to eat already!", the little girl said as she growled at her. Kyoko stumbled again and felt more sand hit her face. " HEY, one more time and I'll have you sent home mister! Let the loser fail on her own". The little boy looked aside as the nara and his friends giggled in the background. Kyoko lined up before the targets as everyone else did.

She arrived with a hunched postured and quivering lips. "I...i want papa", she said under her breath. "Okay Kyoko, just do whatever you want so we can move on to ryuma, okay", she said with an air of contempt. Kyoko looked outward and gulp as she trembled and forgot what her jutsu sequence was. "b-bird eagl..no ox?". A few kids continued to jeer at her with disgusted tones. " Oi stupid if you forgot the sequence just get away from there"! She gulped and looked ahead to see something in the distance, dancing in the shadows. It looked back at her with its empty eye sockets and hissed at her as it peered from behind the dummies. She grit her teeth and suddenly had a moment of what she assumed to be clarity. " So it was you". Her voice lost its timidity and for a moment she seemed like a new person. Her sharingan flared as her mind became fixated on the creature.

"Oh so you can use the sharingan? That's a feat...". The woman paused Kyoko began to create a calm sequence of hand seals." horse, bird, ox", she said out as she inhaled deeply, " FIRE STYLE, INFERNAL EMBERS"! Fire erupted into her palms and danced about, nearly catching nearby students on fire. With but a moment's pause she began to pelt the training field with a flurry of fireballs. The dummies instantly caught on fire and the monster in her mind's eye bobbed its head unaffected while melding back into the shadows. Kyoko panted and kept her fists clenched as she seemingly ignored everyone around her. Those who were jeering at her with the exception of the nara and his gang backed away from her with a sneer. Kyoko felt her teacher tapped her shoulder and as quickly as the fire ignited, it had dissipated. "I was going to continue, but maybe it's time for a break. Everyone can go eat their lunch, we'll finish up with demonstrations and then move to sparring"!

Kyoko nodded and made her way to the girl's restroom, passing by ryuma and averting her gaze just in case.

The teachers had decided it was time for the students to have a break and released them to lunch. Though they were to move about on their own free will they were instructed to not leave the campus and that they had to return in an hour to continue the days training. With that announcement Ryuma headed out of the large arena in search of some entertainment. He wasn't ready for break, in fact he was raring and ready to go now more than he had been all day. The recent events had brought the beast within, and now it needed quelled. This desire for something to satiate his need for entertainment lead him out of the small training arena and into the corridors that connected them with the other larger ones.

A few feet into the corridor Ryuma was forcefully grabbed and yanked backward into a wall by an own hand. His body felt heavy and he felt it was very hard if not impossible to move as he slammed against the wall. Two boys appeared from around the corner as he struggled to move. "Hahahahaha. He's still trying to move. Hahaha" One of the boys laughed as he pointed at Ryuma mockingly. The other boys face however was not one of mocking joy, but one of anger maybe even disgust as he looked toward Ryuma. Suddenly and without a word the boy with the look of disgust on his face slammed his fist into Ryuma's gut. A gasp escaping from Ryuma's mouth as his breath was taken away.

"I don't think he understands." The mocking boy calmly stated as he looked over at the boy who just punched Ryuma.

"A Nataya, coming in here, messing up our plan. A NATAYA!!" The disgusted boys voice rose as did his anger. The Nataya clan while not well known, was at least known for producing scum, or the lowest of the low. This boy that Ryuma didn't know clearly had issues with some actions that he took, still though Ryuma struggled unable to figure out why he couldn't move. Struggling just seemed to anger the disgusted boy more and more. Eventually, climaxing in a flurry of punches to Ryuma's face and torso. Black eye, bloody nose, and many bruises on the torso would be the end result of the beating, the worst part is Ryuma still couldn't figure out why it was so hard to move.

"Kov, man that's eno....." The mocking boy spoke as he reached out to grab boy wailing on Ryuma.

Kov shrugged off his grab as he glared at the mocking boy with a stare so scary it made the mocking boy step back. "He needs to learn his place!." Kov's tone still rife with anger as he spit towards Ryuma. The hold on Ryuma had begun to weaken as the two got into an arguement over whether Kov was taking it to far or not. That's when a third boy appeared from the corner covered in sweat, and Ryuma recognized him as the Nara boy from earlier the one who had been hoping to hurt Kyoko. Everything hit Ryuma rather quickly after he appeared the Nara clan specialized in shadow jutsu, and were very adapt capturing due to this nature. It explained why he wasn't able to move earlier.

The two boys that had been beating on Ryuma rushed to their friends aid upon seeing him come around the corner. "ARE YOU OKAY!?" The boy that had been mocking Ryuma yelled. Each one grabbed him under a shoulder and began to walking him down the hallway. As they approached Ryuma they heard a small sound escaping him. At first they assumed he was crying and began to chuckle among themselves, but they were wrong. As the sound grew it became apparent that Ryuma was not crying, rather he was laughing and hysterically from the sounds of it. This laughter caught them off guard and stopped them in their tracks as they watched the young beaten and bloody boy in confusion. His head slowly raised to meet the stares of his onlookers, and what his face showed was not one of fear or anger, but it was a face of excited hunger. One glance and the boys quickly moved on know this was far from over.

With the shadow control now gone Ryuma stood himself up and made haste for a bathroom to clean up. He knew the teachers would only freak out if he returned all bloody. So he did the best he could to clean up and return to the field as it was time to start the rest of the days training.

Kyoko had quickly dusted the sand off her clothing and had been flushing her crimson eyes in the empty bathroom. Her eyes still teared up as she saw the reflection in the water looming over her, but she flushed her eyes anyways. Other girls filtered in and out and would stand as far away as they could as they moved around her. Kyoko didn't mind though, since their pupils were pure darkness. "Quit staring at yourself and get out of the way you ugly dunce", one said as they headed for the stalls.

Kyoko ignored their jeer and continued to flush her eyes out because the tingling feeling would not go away. A figure stared back at her everytime she looked in the mirror, but it didn't do anything. It merely bobbed its head as she threw face back down trying to wash out the demon from her visage. She clenched the sides of the sink and as chest started to palpitate. "What the...hey listen..that's enough. Get out of here idiot", one said as she approached to grab kyoko's arm."Yea seriously it's annoying, you tell her misaka"! Meanwhile an idea struck struck Kyoko firmly in that moment as she looked back at the mirror, to see her sharingan flared and straining the viens in her eyes. Her fingers slowly approached it eyes, making the creature and the girls react. She grinned and pulled back slowly, causing the creature to almost reach out for her hands. She stood tall to the dismay of the other girls who were still trying to pass her. Kyoko tilted her head and took a deep breath, before blinking her eye for the first time in an hour. Upon opening her eyes again reverted back to their normal chestnut brown hue, causing the shadow beast to shriek at her.

Just as Kyoko felt victorious she felt the girl's fingers wrap around her forearm with a tug. Kyoko shot her a deathly glare, sharingan flared."What....th--", is all she could say as her body started to spin, "heck"? The girl dropped to the floor with a light thud, making the other shriek. "Don't interrupt me next time", kyoko said with a deathly tone. She immediately backed off, slamming hard against the wall. "W-wah--what did cha'do freak"? Kyoko shrugged and turned her sharingan off. As she walked off, she could hear the few girls in the bathroom rush out to help the dizzy misaka who still was face first with the bathroom floor. Kyoko however, was met with the bloodied and battered visage of the boy who helped her at the demonstration. He moved with purpose, but there wasn't an ounce of concern in his face. In that situation she was sort of dumbfounded and blurted out the only response that came to mind at that moment. "You alright"?

The boy in his seemingly one track mind did not respond to kyoko, leaving her hanging for a moment before returning back to the congregating class. Although it was normal for her to stay toward the back, today it seemed as if that was going to change slightly. News traveled quickly of her bathroom incident and the demonstration already put some on edge already. Most avoided eye contact as she stood alone in what seemed like two aisles of students that formed around her. The teacher pushed up her glasses and nodded with a nervous gulp. " Okay students, time for the next lesson".

Students rumbled in from four different entrances of the small training zone that the class was supposed to be returning after the break. From the oncoming students ranged from large groups to single students walking alone, but one thing that was constant was the noise. The class was outrageously rowdy and loud, as most kids at this are when they return from a break and some freedom. As the students made their way to the middle of the arena the noise level only rose as the voices and laughter echo'd throughout the arena.

A sharp loud bang rang out from the epicenter of all the noisy students. The sound was so loud and harsh that it caused most of the class to cover their ears and stop talking as they looked around for the cause of the sharp bang sound. In the center of the students stood a teacher whom most wouldn't have seen before. No one remembers when he arrived or where he came from, but it was obvious the noise came from him, and now he had the attention of the entire class. Though he had their attention he remained silent and still as three more teachers walked up to the class. The first to speak was the classes normal teacher.

"For the second half of the day. Darlings, we are going to do something fun. Today will be a jutsu teaching class, followed by some sparing." As she mentioned jutsu teaching she moved her hands in a jutsu casting fashion. At the end of it a large flower sprouted from the earth next to her. The large plant was taller than her and bright red matching the color of her own hair. Placing her hand on the plant she began once again to explain what would be happening. "The jutsu teaching class will not be taught by us. My beautiful students, you will be the teachers." As she mentioned the students her hand waved upward as her voices tone skyrocketed. It was clear she loved her students. "Each student will teach the student they are paired with a jutsu. Now my beauties, onward to pairing you. Everyone grab a petal."

"Always with the damn petals. Arghhhh." The male teacher whom had silenced the class mumbled under his breath as he still remained in the center of the students.

With her last sentence she hit the flower one more time and the petals burst from the crown of the flower littering the students. As students began to catch or pick up petals they would notice that the petal would change from its red hue to a different upon them picking it up. Ryuma's petal remained the same red color without a change. The two students next to him changed to a teal, and the boy behind him had a purple petal. "Now, courageous children you must find your partner. If your colors match it was meant to be. Go." As she was finishing up a very rough, and unkempt man walk up beside. With a few coughs he interrupted the searching that begun among the students.

"The four of us will be watching you. I want no funny business. The first set to learn each other jutsu's will be treated to a reward. Now you may begin." His voice was harsh as was his complexion, and it was clear he meant it when he said no funny business.

Ryuma began his search for the student whom also had a bright red flower petal, and it didn't take before he noticed whom his partner was. It was the girl from earlier the one he had saved, Kyoko. With no pep in his step he managed his way over to her. His black eye and swollen nose gleaming in the daylight from his recent beating. As he neared the young girl he held out his flower petal. "We match. So, lets get a move on." His voice was rough and slightly annoyed, but what choice did he have. The petals matched, and he kinda wanted to win this reward.

Kyoko covered her ears when the course bang rang throughout the stadium, bouncing off the walls to assail the students more than once. What was an excited bunch of students coming back from break was a stunned crowd of lambs. She saw the grin on the man's face as he introduced their instructor for the lesson. A brash looking woman with fiery red hair shouted down to her audience with a boisterous energy that brought them back from the shock. He hand seals were quick, faster than she had ever seen before. It was more akin to a blur than anything else, but for some reason the other teachers were put off a bit. The ground trembled slightly, with the sound of cracking earth filling the air. Kyoko was ready to run at any time, but she was calmed down by the sight of her other instructions who were staring daggers at the red head.

From the ground burst a flower which took form almost instantly. It towered over her and cast its shadow on the class. With the snap of her fingers, the petals burst forth and danced around everyone in a cascade of rainbow colored petals. Kyoko looked about with a sense of wonderment as she inhaled deeply, indulging herself in the aroma. That is till a single petal stood out to her and floated down to her in a much more controlled manner. She held her palms out and felt its soft touch as it landed dead center of her hands. It became blood red. She looked about her, seeing what her neighbors had gotten. "blue...green...pink aww...uhh ohhh uh...", she said as the boy who approached her held out his petal.

"Well uh he---", she said as he scoffed at her. She looked upon him as if he were a beast, holding her arms close to herself as if to protect herself. Her breathing became light and her head became blank for a moment. "Uhh... ahh I think think...hmm", she said to herself as she looked at the environment around her. As she became slightly lost in thought, the fear subsided slightly. "Right...Then let's try this".

She turned back to ryuma with furrowed brows as she steeled herself. " Okay so listen-- Listen up! The way you use this jutsu is to gather your chakra in your chest"! Kyoko hit her chest once to emphasize where to gather his chakra. "Then...you make the boar and ox hand sign as you breathe in...before blowing it out...Fire style: infernal maw"! The girl felt waited for a response, but received none. Her eyes watered a bit as this was how her father taught her,but somehow the words just weren't coming out.

She shook her head once or twice a few moments later and stepped away from him. She inhaled deeply as she made the hand seals, causing her clothing to ruffle ever so slightly. With the second hand seal, she exhaled deeply to release a steam of fire about 6 feet long and 3 feet tall, in front of her. "A--and that's how you...do it"...

The young girl 'Kyoko' seemed rather flustered at first when Ryuma confronted her with the fact that their petals matched. Going from shy, stuttering, and stammering to extremely bossy and then back to shy and stammering. Even with this behavior Ryuma watched her intently. Taking in everything he could all in one go, his eyes were set on winning this prize the teacher spoke of. As the young ninja preformed her lesson and demonstration he make a check list in his head. Inhale, boar, ox, exhale. Was the premise of the justsu making it sound rather simple, but the hard was the molding of the chakra within the body to make the fire.

As the stream of flame left her body Ryuma stepped back with his eyes wide. For such a small school she had some power behind her. He could feel the heat of the flame from a good distance away, and the stream itself was larger and longer than most of the other students were capable of at this age. Impressed and shocked would be words to describe his current state. He didn't expect this girl to contain so much power. With her display done Ryuma smirked as he got himself mentally ready. Though he was still annoyed by the idea of learning from another student his mentality had ever so slightly shifted toward Kyoko into a more indifferent rather than annoyed attitude.

Taking a deep breath he prepared himself. Letting his mind go blank as he inhaled he envisioned the chakra within his chest. This processes was repeated a few times before he attempt the jutsu. As with all jutsu the hand seals and technique were not as important as the molding of the chakra. This part is something you can feel regardless of whether you are using a jutsu or not as chakra is a part of you and is something you have control over. As such this is how Ryuma taught himself it was always the molding part first which he did with as clear a head he could manage. While in this state of meditation as most would call it his mind was clear and everything around him and himself appeared calm. It was at peace for a few seconds before he had a grasp on the molding and was ready to begin.

Another large breath taken as he shifted his hands making the Boar, then ox sign. Closing his eyes he concentrated for mere seconds before exhaling a stream of fire from his mouth. Though it was nowhere near as impressive as Kyoko coming it at around three feet long and two feet tall. It was still a success. With further training he could potentially match the strength of Kyoko's fire jutsu, but this lesson wasn't about being as strong as the other student it was about learning the jutsu, and that he felt he had accomplished. Now it was his turn to try and teacher her something.

"Come." Ryuma spoke to Kyoko as he walked over to a training dummy and stopped about six or so feet away. As they stopped he handed Kyoko four shuriken. "In one move you will hit the target with all four of those." Taking out six of his own he got ready. He showed her how each shurkien has to be placed in between the so you can hold them in place with the middle knuckle of the fingers. "Just keep taking them out and replacing them. Get used to it." Then his hand would glow ever so slightly as a small amount of neutral chakra was placed on the shurikens in his hands. "Small amount of chakra, will help you make them all go where you want." Ryuma repeated these steps with Kyoko many times over before he even preformed the whole technique. He had self taught himself everything he knew so far by constantly repeating the steps until he could everything fluently.

After a good few minutes and quite a few repeats Ryuma was ready to move on. "Watch." Quickly and with ease he pulled the six shurikens from his bag in the exact places he needed them to be as a small amount of chakra was released onto them. "Shuriken Volley." He spoke as he released all six shuriken from his hands. They zipped through the air with a slight curve and slammed into the target. Not a single one missing, though each had a different flight path, and not all of them were straight. The chakra helped make them all land and hit the same target.

"Your turn." Patting her on the shoulder as he stepped behind her to let her try.

Kyoko flinched reflexively, expecting ryuma to bark at her as she turned to meet his gaze. The boy however, made her raise an eyebrow. Still maintaining her distance from him ready to act at any moment. "What is he up--to"? The boy moved with a sense of purpose and began to mimic what she had previously done. She gulped and saw him practice his hand seals with a great sense of concentration. The girl's shoulders slumped as she watched the display of power before her eyes. Her head was suddenly rushed with memories of long days and nights, failing to even evoke her chakra, let alone molding it successfully. She glanced down at her hands and began to tear up a bit.

Her attention was called back to reality as the boy began to make it way toward a group of test dummies. She held out her hands and felt the cold steel grace her palms, even the slightest prick made her bleed slightly. Ryuma on the other hand pulled out even more as if it were natural as breathing. Her gaze was stuck on his weapons which had a faint aura bout them. She blinked her eyes to reveal her sharingan and examined his stance and weapons with great concentration. Each one radiating a slight bit of chakra. She bit her fingernail as she contemplated how he actually pulled this off. However before she knew it, Ryuma flung them seemingly off course. She gasped as students who weren't paying attention walked in their path. It was nara and his thugs, who fell to the floor and let out a startled yelp, right before the stars curved and dug into the dummies with a series of blunt thuds. Kyoko exhaled deeply and slumped her shoulders as she stared out at the target.

After this ryuma showed kyoko the steps several times.
Your turn.

After the lessons she felt a slight slap to her back that made her stumble forward a step or two. She saw none of the maddening rage in his eyes, but rather that of a person who was too cold to feel said rage. She averted her gaze but kept on gaurd as she prepared to try the jutsu. She placed three shuriken in between her fingers and started to guess what he had done previously. She felt her chakra meld with the objects in a way she didn't think was possible, but it was erratic, ebbing and flowing before suddenly sputtering out. Her fingers clenched the ninja stars tighter as her right arm extended backwards across her chest until it could no more. "Shuriken volley ". She stepped forward as if to gain some leverage and unleashed the flurry of stars into toward the dummy.

One hit the floor at the base of the dummy, another its groin, but the last one veered off toward another group. "Watch out"! Kyoko looked at her remaining shuriken and back at the group of kids who might get hit by it, but her body froze up at that point."I...can't..hi--".

The shiny metallic object soar threw the air as it approached a separate group of students, threatening to injure one them. Inches from landing in one of the students arm it was suddenly stopped by a large hand and loud growl. The larger stern teacher stood before Ryuma and Kyoko holding the shiny piece of metal in front of them.

"Now what did I sa.........." The teacher spoke as he shook his hand with the tool in before them, but before he could finish his sentence Ryuma snatched the tool from him.

" No funny business." Ryuma snarked back as he snatched the tool before handing it back to Kyoko. "I did it. She'll show me how to make it better." He stated before turning around and walking over to a more distance training dummy. The whole way there thinking of something he could do to help Kyoko master this technique and win this mini competition from the class. If anything at least out here she wouldn't get them disqualified.

Turning back he looked at the young girl whom had shyly followed him over to the other training dummy. Not much had escaped from her as she had her head down. Coming to a complete stop he turned to the young girl, giving her a rather intense stare. Though not malicious most certainly was very powerful.

"Two times you owe me." As he spoke he reached into his pocket and pulled out more shuriken and reached over to hand them to her but stopped right before handing them over. "Your a Uchiha? Don't you have them magic eyes?" Stopping to give her a chance to answer he looked at the tools before bringing them to his side.

Moments later he spoke again. "Focus, Breathe, Chakra. Focus, Breathe, Chakra. Focus, Breathe, Chakra." He kept repeating the words as he held his arms out with shurikens in each arm. The shurikens were infused with a slight amount of chakra and were just resting in his hands. "Practice your chakra on the one you have. I'll watch. Focus, Breathe, Chakra." Ryuma stepped back and nodded for Kyoko to begin. His intense stare not once shifting from her.

Kyoko's gaze was trained on the kids in the path of her rouge shuriken, trembling with her mouth agape. She felt a tingle in the side of her face and averted her gaze, refusing to look at the outcome or ryuma. "uhh..uhh pl-- ", was all she could blurt out before a sharp wind cut through the field. The girls about to get hit fell to the ground, amid the dust thrown up from the teacher's entrance. Between his fingers the ninja star rested, still spinning slightly as he glared at kyoko. She instinctively knew he was angry and as such and struggled to lift her head. "Sensei, I want her outt'ah here! She's a menace, those damned evil uchiha"! Another jumped in saying, " Yea she beat up my friend! Sensei do something"! Kyoko shook her head and tried to speak up, but before even the teacher could respond Ryuma practically stomped to the teacher.
"I did it. She'll show me how to make it better."

He snatched the weapon and gestured to kyoko, who accidentally made eye contact. The sensei and students about him froze for a moment in the wake of a little dictator who had the gaul to scold the school's fiercest teacher. The girl withdrawn, looked up to the teacher who with a shit eating grin and arms crossed shook his head, before pointing toward her partner. "Now now kiddos it was an accident I'm sure. C'mon I'll teach ya a thing or two about shuriken training". Many of those same angry kids smiled and clammored around him as the troublesome pair were left to their own thing. Hesitantly she met his gaze as he waited, seeing his scary expression. For someone like kyoko who only knew her father's protective gaze or her teachers and classmates pitying her, this was alien to her. Still holding her arms close to her chest, she gulped and grabbed the shuriken from him.
Your a Uchiha? Don't you have them magic eyes?"

Kyoko was puzzled at what he said though. She tilted her head and squinted her eyes at him for a second. " I--i don- know what that means. I'll try my best", she said while bowing to him. To kyoko who has never at her reflection with the sharingan on, she never noticed that it was even a thing. And her father kept it hidden, going so far as to make sure they didn't have mirrors in the house. Reluctantly she grabbed the shuriken and listened to his instructions. She nodded to his initial set of instructions and began to place the shuriken between her fingers. She closed her eyes and began to drown out the world. The sounds of her classmates became muffled and the stare of her classmate seemed to dissolve. Her heartbeat synchronized with her breathing as she began to pour her own chakra into the shuriken, forcing his own at the same time. Although niether said anything, she knew it was looming in the distance, staring daggers into the little girl.

Her cheek pulsated, revealing an array of ancient runic symbols as her chakra blackened for a moment. She grunted as her face scrunched up. Kyoko rose and opened her eyes to unleash the flurry of ninja weapons which flew perfectly toward the training dummy, " SHURIKEN VOLLEY"! Each star ever hit every rung of the target with a subtle thud. Kyoko wasn't smiling though. She froze up as the color was washed from her face. She stammered once or twice before falling backwards. Her eyes trained on the dummy with tears welling up in her eyes. "Pl-ppleas..e no".

Ryuma watched as Kyoko's shuriken flew into the target, but something was off about her strength. It didn't feel the same as when the young girl used her powerful fire jutsu. Something was off with the shuriken, but they did hit the target and therefore meant she could preform the jutsu. Meaning, both of them could win the mini-competition that was initiated before the class. Turning back from the dummy to speak to Kyoko, Ryuma noticed she had fallen to the ground and seemed terrified to the point of bringing tears to her eyes. On top of this she seemed to be pleading with something as she looked at the dummy she had just hit.

Confused by what it was that was scaring the girl. Ryuma stepped toward her in order to reach down and help her stand up. Before he could touch her a horrible screeching sound echo'd throughout the arena they were in. Reverberating off the walls of the arena and coming back in, causing enough pain to make all the students try and cover their ears. This lasted for a few seconds before the sound suddenly came to a stop and all four teachers stood in the middle of the arena. Ryuma then reached down shaking Kyoko to make sure she was okay. The sound should have been enough to shock her out of fear but if it hadn't hopefully Ryuma could with a few shakes.

"Kiddo's, we have winners. My darlings, we have a three way tie for the reward." The teacher with bright red hair spoke loudly as he voice echo'd throughout the area. Clearing her throat she began to speak again, but interrupted immediately by the large menacing teacher whom had caught Kyoko's shuriken earlier.

"There are no ties, Mia. Natayah, Ryuma. Misaki, Kyoko. Kaguya, Kai. Senju, Misaka. Nara, Yunnan. Xiulan, Tsuka. Follow me, this shall be settled." The large stern teacher walked to the further side of the arena far away from all the other students as the students he called and the blonde female teacher followed. As the large man came to a stop he and the blonde began to speak quietly among themselves as the students waited stood before them. After a few minutes of discussion thee female teacher began to speak.

"To choose a winner, and to complete your last lesson of the day we have you spar with opposing teams. You will work solo, and will get the chance to spar against one member from each team." She coughed as she threw three kunai into the ground forming a triangle around a good size area of land. "Each team will stand behind a kunai, and who fights will be picked at random. If you win you will have the right to decide to take your second spar now, or to pass the buck to another fighter. Winning is decided by knock-out, forfeit, or if we feel you could seriously hurt your opponent." As the teacher continued to explain what would be happening Ryuma looked back at the class to notice that some of them were sparing. The main class had moved on to once you complete your jutsu training you get to spar your partner, the only ones not sparing their partner were the three teams pulled aside.

"Alright, Here are the teams. Nataya, Ryuma & Misaki, Kyoko. Report to your station." The large stern teacher spoke as he point to a kunai closest to the main class. "Next time is Kaguya, Kai & Nara, Yunnan. Report to your station." Again he directed them to a kunai. "Last team, Senju, Misaka & Xiulan, Tsuka. Report to your station." With the last team walking to their kunai both teachers walked out of the triangle they had formed on the ground with kunai.

"Teams, make a choice who will report for battle first." The blonde teacher spoke as she sat on the ground awaiting the decision of the students before them.

The decision for Ryuma was simple. He was going first. The sound of the other students sparring in the background had got him stoked for a fight. He had been waiting all day for a chance to spar against someone, even though his body ached from his earlier beating. "I'm going first." Ryuma demanded this from Kyoko, there was no option in it for her, but as he turned to walk into the arena the large stern teacher from before approached them.

"We have decided you will not go first, Nataya. Misaki, report to the field. You shall participate in the first bout." As he spoke students from the other team walked into the make shift arena. The first round of fighters was: Misaki, Kyoko & Senju, Misaka & Nara, Yunnan. "Now that we have our first set of opponents we have decided that Misaki will fight in the first round. Nara, and Senju decide who will face her." the large man shot both Ryuma and Kyoko a sly grin. This was clearly his way of getting back at them for the shuriken mistake of earlier, and Ryuma very brash attitude toward the teacher.

Kyoko's eyes widened as her fingernails bled from scraping against the arena's earthen floor. Everything disappeared as it had months before, leaving her mind in a void of endless darkness. She looked down to find darkness dripping from his arms, as if it was cement before it hardened. The figure drew closer, without a word. Its eyes drew hers like a magnet. Kyoko tried to scream, but her lungs felt like they had vicegrips on them and her body was as heavy and inflexible as stone. Even the screech from her instructors didn't phase her. Her eyes turned into the direction she believed they came from, but she could not move. The being hands just about to grasp her, when she felt Ryuma's hand push her shoulder. She clung to that arm and found herself sitting in front of the skewered dummy, with her sharingan flourishing. She took two deep breaths, letting her chest expand as much as possible, before following Ryuma. As she stood back up, she looked toward the dummy but felt nothing but emptiness. Her eyes had bags under them and the color from her face was gone.
"Kiddo's, we have winners. My darlings, we have a three way tie for the reward."
The shy girl stood at the edge of the class who exploded in cheers when the winners were announced. A few even attempted to congratulate Kyoko, but were deterred by her zombie like appearance. She grinned though and felt a wave of relief wash over her and began to walk toward the exit. The prize mattered not so much as her being able to leave already. Her eyes were still strained from before and she just wanted to rest. Just then the man who had tried to scold her earlier, stepped forth with another teacher as well. They both explained the rules of what would be the tie breaker. Kyoko froze in place and turned back with weary eyes to find the other competitors already lined up. She sighed reluctantly as she made her way back, in order to forfeit.
"I'm going first."
She looked toward the boy and nodded. She sighed with a bit of relief, when the teacher's harsh voice boomed again. She glared at the man who was twirling the same shuriken in hand with a bit of a grin. He gestured with a hand over to her opponents, who were arguing over who would go first. "I'm going first. I'll put 'er in place for the both of us, girl", Nara said with a barking tone. Misaka stomped her foot, to reveal the strength her small frame already possessed. Pointing to herself she barked back, " No she's mine. I have to repay her for earlier". Other girls in the crowd were pumped up and began to cheer her on as well. Kyoko simply glared at them with content and waved off the affair with a weary wave. " I don't care about this. I'm going home to see daddy", she said before turning back to the door. The other two were about to roar in protest when the teacher who initiated this event, disappeared in a burst of wind. Kyoko noticed just a moment too late when her feet stopped touching the ground.

The world spun before she could even process what was going on. With a small thud, she hit the floor on her back with the towering behemoth of a man loomed over her. She grimaced from the pain and coughed as she heard the sound of the metal peircing the earth. " You're in my yard girl. Daddy can't do anything to help you". Kyoko looked to the window to find her father shaking his head and gesturing toward the others. The other instructors looked in shock for a moment, before looking coughing. " Is this really necessary sensei? We can move on with---", was all she could utter when he shot her a deathly glare. " There's a coming storm. We should execute this girl for insubordination like they did in our legends. But I'm giving this ingrate a chance, to prove herself to her betters".

Kyoko's gaze didn't leave his face. Her eyes fixed upon him, examining every muscle on his face."Sensei, if I take care of those cretins...can I see my daddy"? He looked down on her with a grin and placed his hands in his pockets. "If you can beat both, I'll let you go home". Kyoko grabbed the knife and let her torso dangle just a moment as Nara and Senju looked at eachother, then at Kyoko. "I like the idea girl! Yes, you two pick up a kunai! It will be good practice".

Nara was a thug, so he grinned at the thought. The senju hesistated, but managed to steel herself when the crowd cheered her on. There was a deathly silence between both sides, before Kyoko whose eyes were trained on thiers. She dashed forward with reckless abandon. "Just watch yerself senju, she's gonna use a fire style jutsu", he said brimming with confidence. The senju scoffed and said, " Are you blind, she's clearly jumping over us like an ameteur". The two froze with a sense of shock as they realized what was going on. Nara used the cancel jutsu just a moment too late. Kyoko's knee was already boring itself into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. She promptly slashed his shoulder blade and drew blood that flew behind him. Nara yelped in pain and threw himself backward, falling face first. This made the Senju quake in terror. " Was off just a bit", kyoko said as she pivoted in order to thrust her grisly kunai into the other girl's neck.

At the last moment the stunned blonde and red headed teachers separated all three students, with Kyoko being tossed like a rag doll into the otherside of the arena. She stopped 20-30 feet away from the group, struggling to cope with the blow that sent her flying. "IS THAT ENOUGH SENSEI? LOOK AT THIS MESS", the red head said with a roar that even made him flinch. He shook his head and shrugged. "That surprised me as well sensei", he said. From the door Kyoko's father burst through running toward his daughter whose eyes were starting to bleed from over use. He screamed her name, prompting the girl to snap out of her rampage. She turned away from the group and grasped her father's abdomen, with bloodied tears coursing down her face. " Daddy? Is it really you"?

He didn't say a word, but rather he merely stroked her head while glaring at the teacher who goaded her.
