Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The tall standing man, broad shoulders and chiseled expression stared at the bottom of an empty glass. He wasn't very accustomed to drinking, hell, he didn't even like it that much but it was that liberty of being able to get drunk in the morning, lunch-time or in the dead of night. A noble man, yet a low-born, someone of great respect and a very honorable individual. Yet, here he was, enjoying the specifics of his failure; lapping up the chance to get wasted to forget the names, faces and memories of his adopted son and the Royal Family. Amori was an experienced man yet completely bewildered by the normality of those around him - hence this unnatural fixation to try and get drunk, although he often found this difficult and even after a few liters of whatever syrupy delight he wanted.

A hand reached out, curling around his broad shoulder, which that layer of silver plated armour protected. Amori, stopping his glass chalice from reaching his lips, arched around and raised a brow with a smile. "Yes?" Amori's baby brown's would set upon a Godly figure, a fiercely handsome man, which made his heart skip a beat or two. It made his manhood swell ever-so-slightly. "I-I, ugh-" He would try to address the man, who wore a fine suit, and prided a shadowy beard. The moment would only last for a few seconds but that was enough for this chiseled man to want to fall in love with such handsome, such seductive features. But the handsome stranger would walk away, smirking oddly, as he seemed satisfied with something. It was quite weird, but of course, Amori was slightly oblivious and just wanted to ravage the man right there.

A few minutes then past and the former bodyguard found himself staring back at the bottom of an empty glass. He sighed somewhat as his mind drifted back off to his son, to his charges; all of the people he failed so miserably. By this point, the pub was becoming pretty quiet and those who had to rush off to their demanding wives, spouses and mistresses' did so without much hesitation. However, it didn't take very long for Amori to be left himself, sitting at the bar on his tall stool with a lonely heart and not a companion in sight.

The norm for Hiku was much different now. Without the need to eat, or sleep he was able to focus on the tasks that made a shinobi. Being a puppet was probably the best thing that had happened to Hiku in a long time. The "monstrosity" as some would call it, was now a blessing. Since he realized he had a great range of coverage within his circle of peers, and being a puppet helped expand his uses. Hiku now turned his attention on becoming Suna's best guard. He wanted to join the ANBU but figured if he would join them he'd make a very convincing resume documented with his record.

Hiku was garbed in the usual black bodysuit which covered the lower half of his face. A tan cloak hung tightly around his neck falling all the way down to his knees. He intensely looked at the bar before entering. It seemed as though the many rumors of a handsome genjutsu user who seemingly faded away led him here. With the type of person the gen user was described as in his file, Hiku had taken the precautions necessary to take the wind out of the Genjutsu user. It would only take about two seconds for Hiku to perform his trap. If it worked he'd be able to take down the Genjutsu user without a hassle, if anything at least he'd be able to slow him down.

With a relaxed demeanor, Hiku entered the bar turning his mechanical head side to side, observing the near empty bar. There place was near vacant if not for a few occupants and a lone soul by the bar counter drinking their life away. Hiku began to move towards the lone soul observing him before he got too close. The man was extremely toned, and massive. Hiku approached with caution trying to keep trouble at bay. He took an empty seat next to the man, waving off the bartender who would surely look his way. There was no need for a drink, especially not for the puppet man, Hiku. He turned his head and looked directly at the muscular man. His eyes were blank void of emotion, and if the man turned he might have been weirded out by the extended stare of Hiku.

"Hello, sorry to interrupt your drink but I have a question. It won't take much of your time." Hiku laid out the flyer he had been clutching, on the counter and turned his attention back on the muscular man. "I'm looking for this man. Have you seen him around?" Hiku's voice was cracking slightly, the 4th frame still wasn't complete and trying to emulate normal human mannerisms were tough when you didn't always feel them. Hiku would then slowly divert his gaze from the man, not wanting to stare at him further, as it would probably be annoying or unsettling. It was obviously getting weird, but Hiku still had some adjusting to do.

A memory swirled around inside of Amori's head as he heard the approaching footsteps of another, he smiled and drifted off slightly as the flashes of his child rolled around in his sorrowful heart. He choked back on the tears, being a Knight he wasn't aloud to display his emotions, but he was a member of the highest order; the Kings Guard, these rules didn't apply to him. The class shook slightly as the flashes built into a single image, a frozen screenshot, of Hatteken sword fighting with his adoptive father; Amori. Every day, every second the knight was constantly reminded of his short-comings - what else was there to do now that he was useless? Oh, that's right, get drunk. Or try to. Quite gingerly, a new face with an odd garment upon his face, arrived beside Amori - taking a seat and ordering a refreshment. He spoke politely, much more politely than anyone he had spoken to in this village thus far, well maybe not the only person.

"Sir, good evening." The former bodyguard would bow his head respectfully as the strange man entered into a question. The man who wore metal wanted to know about something, and that's when the flyer was handed over to Amori's firm grasp. Letting go of his cup momentarily, he took hold of the flyer with both hands, holding the parchment together and stretching it at opposite ends. It took the hulk a few moments to register the face, despite swooning over it just momentarily, but the man would birth a single noise: hpmh. "It's always the good looking ones, don't you think?" Amori comment as his head shook from left to right, feeling somewhat silly for feeling so spoonful over a criminal. Well, how was he suppose to know? "I have seen him, he came in about twenty minutes ago."

"Slavery, hmm?" Amori scoffed, disgusted by such a vile act of poison. Who would sell another person for personal wealth? They had to be some kind of special monster to do such a thing so freely. Amori wasn't a stupid man, far from it, he was quite intuitive; he had to be. It could be plausible to assume that this criminal had only came into contact with the former bodyguard to 'check out the goods', so to speak. One may go as far as to say he wanted to sell of Amori to the highest bidder. "Do you need any help, my Lord?"

The muscle man, responded so formal, so polite. Hiku simply observed listening to the man's response to the questions. His body language wasn't much to go off of since he was sitting down. The man observed the flyer for a moment before saying that he recognized the man saying that it was always the good looking ones. Hiku looked at the man and then the flyer before responding. "Yes I suppose so, he is a handsome character." With a nod Hiku would listen longer as the man would then claim that he had seen the target. The racketeering sleeze ball had apparently been here twenty minutes ago. A fist clenched tightly as he thought about what his next move would be. This man was cold and smart. He knew how to twist the situation to suit his needs and purpose. It was even more ridiculous that he had been here and Hiku had just missed him. "Hmm... maybe if I set up a perimeter I could find him. I can't use that technique though too much coverage maybe I can summon a tenth of them and use those to search the area. Maybe even less a sixth could work very well. I just can't draw too much attention to myself at least not here. He thought aloud, going over his plan to track down the deceptive genjutsu criminal.

The lone soul in the bar, spoke up once more calling Hiku "My Lord" and asking him if he need any help. Hiku cocked his head to the side and repeated a portion of the statement. "My lord? Nice ring to it, but you can just call me Hiku, short for Hikuidori. Who are you? This guy was getting a bit weirder with every passing moment. It seemed as though Hiku had found an ally in him though since he was offering help. "Help would be greatly appreciated. I'm an avid practitioner of jutsu that require a form of creation. What skills do you have? I don't mean to sound basic or to call out the obvious, but I'm assuming you're a massive physical tank? Probably extremely proficient in Taijutsu? You're frame looks geared towards that area. Before he could enter any kind of partnership with anyone Hiku had to make sure that this person could compliment him. Then again Hiku could compliment just about anybody combat wise. It was all about what he chose to use in battle.

Honestly, Amori didn't really have a clue as to what this character was saying about setting up a perimeter, using this technique and the something or other; it all really just escaped the friendly giant. Taking a few more moments, he would sully over the flyer and wear a raised brow expression, the expression down to the sheer confusion from how the newcomer spoke. It was just out of context and that's probably why it didn't flow very well, maybe. "You don't want me to address you as your superior?" Amori looked at the man, now named Hiku, with a surprised expression. Well, it was how Amori was trained - to respect those around him with the level of respect that he would want to be treated with, thus creating equality. "I shall call you whatever you wish, Hiku."

Hiku then went on to talk about his strengths, referring to battle, and what Amori could be most useful for. "I am battle proficient with swordplay and some mystical arts, you may refer to them as 'Ninjutsu', which are derived from the nature of paper." Amori would turn to his drink, chugging back the brown liquid and then playing it down against the face of the oak counter with a slam. His face read excitement, he was ready to do his duty and accept the call to arms; especially if it was to cut down a minister of darkness, those menacing and useless bags of humanity. However, Amori didn't believe in killing those unjust so easily - he was a man of law after all.

"I'm Enomoto Amori, Sir Hiku."

The hulkish man confused Hiku even further with his next statement. "You don't want me to address you as your superior?" were the words spoken to him. The puppet man, simply nodded while chuckling ever so lightly. "That's right I don't need all the extra haha" He'd immediately stop the chuckling, transitioning back to a more blank personality. The bulky man then went on to say that he would call Hiku whatever he wanted. "Wait does that mean you'd call me Big Daddy?" Hiku would chuckle again this time, not snapping back so suddenly to being blank.

The man said he was proficient with Swordplay and Mystical Arts that derived from Paper. He then said that "You may refer to them as Ninjutsu". Hmmm his word usage is weird. It's almost as if he's from not around here. However I thought Shinobis were on a global scale more or so. He talks as if these things are foreign to him. Hiku took note of the word use "Mystical Arts" and the fact he made it sound like there was a difference in the two beyond presentation. However Hiku simply processed this as another way of individuality or culture. The large giant of a man was simply fascinating, then again most things were when you had no worries about death for the most part.

Hiku would stand up now preparing himself to leave. He was going to hunt this bastard down and he'd make this as quick and painless as possible, well the search part. Before leaving his new giant of a friend would introduce himself as Enomoto Amori. Hiku would nod and close his eyes trying to display a happy expression since he wasn't showing his "mouth". Awesome, It's a pleasure to meet you Amori. Well let's get going don't want to let this trail get too cold! With an excited tone Hiku would walk out of the bar completely contradicting how he sounded. When he reached outside he'd reveal a large scroll snuggly strapped to his back.

While removing it Hiku would mutter about nonsense no one would understand. "Hmm this is a tough call but it's definitely worth it. I don't want to expose.. but at the same token I can cover so much ground and maybe even find some more scum... Alright Amori, I'm gonna use a large scale summoning technique, stand back please. Hiku would roll open the scroll revealing the symbol of a hand with an eye in the palm of it. Hiku would place his hand on the scroll charging chakra into pushing out a great deal. However the expression on the visible part of his face never changed. To anyone who could feel or see chakra this was an odd site at the unbalanced amount that was being placed into the scroll, however it flowed through Hiku like a well oiled machine. The new engine core is working phenomenally!" The chakra would suddenly cease and smoke would begin to seep out the seal. In a large puff of steam a swarm of wooden creations would begin to pour out of the seal visciously wielding an assortment of wooden weapons coated in a deep lime liquid.

They were basic in design but they made up for that in sheer size. Thirty three wooden creations floated in the sky, all being held up by a mass of thin light blue chakra strings. Each string had tiny thorns on them and they were connected to the back of Hiku. To anyone who could see through his apparel would clearly see that the lines were connected to a body that was barely human anymore. Hiku marveled at his creations that hung into the sky. "I summoned about 33-35% of them. I painstakingly stayed awake for over 144 hours still in counting. I've been doing nothing between that time, but creating enhanced blocks of wood from my wooden ninjutsu element. Then I turned them into my own personal army of puppets forever making a personal army of my chakra element. Pretty genius if you ask me... I'm about to send them out in a large radius to search for our target and I have a direct line through them.... Something like eyes between us.." Hiku would chuckle at his statement knowing the truth. He had mechanically linked his and his puppet's eyes together as soon as he made them. It wasn't hard since his new puppet body that he handmade, was created out of the same wood. Hiku had taken great lengths to fully customize his new puppet body and this summoning of mokuton puppets was his ultimate technique. It was a tribute to his old style of fighting with summoning creations at least in this manner he was somewhat... at home.
