Now that he'd settled among the ranks of the ANBU, something a little further was needed with Keiyaku and Morutobu. The both of them, during a lesson with Corvus-sensei, had been introduced to the unique lanaguge codes the ANBU and the rest of the high-ranking Leaf shinobi used for covert communication. With his teacher, and with Kiiromaru, his adoptive father, who had been his biological father's ninken, a retired ANBU captain, he'd been practicing, but it was difficult to keep up this practice without some kind of concrete reference. Now was the time to spend time in the library, both boy and dog surrounded by books, not merely trying to learn it by osmosis, but having a good, firm grasp would the language which would no doubt aid private scheming and strategising on his future missions.
