Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Steward was tasked with what the layman's term was baby-sitting. It solved his sickness of ennui but it was not something Sousuke considered to be pleasant. The ViP was an individual named Hiota Shizu. From his father's briefing Sousuke learned that she was one extraordinarily bossy, and that secondly she was independent. It was annoying in the extreme, however, it was Judori's hope that Sousuke may come to have a friendly or romantic relationship with the girl. Sousuke on the other hand was not interested in having a relationship whatsoever.

DAY 01.

The Steward kept his distance from Shizu. He stuck mainly to roof tops and kept a silent vigil. Across the roof he stalked, and deployed his Mark I armour. Nothing too abnormal was occurring. No signs of bandits. Nothing strange. The Steward's eyes focused and narrow as Shizu entered a crowd. Here was the time when something was bound to happen. The Steward knelt down upon a ledge, and lowered his form grasping unto various foreign stone structures called gargoyles. The Steward did not blink. His dark eyes tracked her down soon enough. He noticed three unsavoury individuals beginning to follow her. She was making her way towards a market. The Steward continued his stalking keeping an eye on her, and making his way across more rooftops. The three unsavoury individuals were still on her 'tail'. Why the word tail was used to describe a person's back was strange. Yes, very special humans did have tails, and there was a such thing as a tail bone, and yes a human fetus did have a tail but ... why such a saying existed was beyond Sousuke.

The three were beginning to close the distance. The Steward squinted his eyes and saw one of them draw a blade. The Steward could not strike the other two as they could be coincidence be simply taking the same path. Sousuke dug his metal fist into the side of a gargoyle as he swung his metallic frame downward so he could aim a plasma blast properly. The time window frame was within six seconds. Five, four, three, two, one... the Steward opened fire with a very fine beam at the man with a knife. The beam fired was a stun beam, and the Steward watched as it struck him in the calf. The man fell over as he found his leg inoperable due to the plasma blast.

The other two of course were still on the tail of Shizu. The next closest one drew a fine string. The Steward barely even saw it but he had to take action. He traced his way across more rooftops and got into position. His timing was even more difficult now. Four seconds. Not enough time to charge a plasma shot, thus the Steward swapped to a very simple but effect lightning jutsu. The handseals were completed and a small bolt was emitted striking this man in the back. Nothing too fancy, but the Steward watched as the man was stunned. He was looking around for whoever shot the bolt. The Steward again made more hand seals and fired one more bolt for good measure now in a full attempt to stun the man again. Sousuke hit the mark and perhaps did so with a little too much success as the man was knocked out cold.

By this time the third person was growing fearful seeing as how his companions were out of operation. He decided to take a more forceful approach and actually go after Shizu. It was a full on sprint, but the Steward merely phase shifted in with a shadow dance in front of the man. Sousuke was walked into, but he emitted a very forceful shock to the man's chest and electrocuted him. Thankfully the crowd was still very thick, and Sousuke wasn't easily noticed.

DAY 02.

Today Shizu wanted to go see movies. Thus the Steward too by proxy had to go see movies. It was a very dreadful experience, as Sousuke did not frequent movies. Shizu sat in the back row, which made things even more difficult for Sousuke. He decided to attend to the theatre in disguise using the transform jutsu stating that it was an emergency evaluation of the theatre. Thus the Steward stalked from a distance in the film room keeping an eye on Shizu.

The movie in question was horrible. A very terrible romance story. At times the Steward wanted to burn the film canister but decided not to as his cover would be blown. Thus the Steward had completed his emergency evaluation of the facility... and thankfully no harm would come to Shizu. Things did not get better as Shizu attended a very shady restaurant for dinner. This restaurant was a frequent home to some minor clans associated with organized crime. Thus the Steward took back to range with his stalking. The Steward dined at a cafe that he had attended to before with Kitanai. The Steward had to spend extra money, which he loathed as he was on a very tight personal budget. Thus the Steward merely drank coffee ... but it was perhaps one of the best coffees he ever drank. He watched from outside as Shizu was giving a waiter attitude. It was a very embarrassing scene. The Steward reached into his pocket and pulled out an earpiece receiver. He called in a hack from communications and began listening to the details in the kitchen.

Apparently Shizu had put up such a fuss that it was deemed fit to have her food poisoned. How abhorrent. Thus the Steward had to take another form. He took the form of a healthy and safety inspector and to his much aborrent nature made a giant fuss himself. "Agent. Ko Hitakai. I'm with Health and Safety. I've heard you've been serving rat and dog. Subsection Sixty-two has those outlawwed." Sousuke spoke in an obnoxious voice with much self-loathing. Eventually the dish Shizu had ordered went to Sousuke in disguise who then had the waiter serving her ate it. Within the time span of four minutes said waiter fell over twitching and quite possibly dead.

Shizu made her exit, and Sousuke found himself boxed in by four brutish men. Sousuke took the necessary means to defend himself which resulted in four brutish men being burnt, shocked, and sliced up. Yes. Healthy and Safety was not to be trifled with.

DAY 03.

Shopping. Shopping in not so pleasant areas. Why would such a woman wish to shop there was beyond the Steward. The Steward came prepared today in the Mark I, just like the two other days. Again he stalked from the rooftops. He was becoming more and more frequent with the gargoyles. What a splendid invention they were. Such ugly features, with great wings. The Steward would need to invent his own someday.

Like the day before Shizu had annoyed many an individual. In fact very store she went to had annoyed someone. Thus it came as no surprise that as he was making her exit from the out-door mall she was being stalked by a mob. Yes. A mob. The Steward held his face in his metallic hands. How could someone 'piss off' that many people? How was it possible?

So far he had heard distant reports that she was annoyed that every place she went someone was hurt and or injured by some sort of guardian angel. She said on occasion that she wished to give people a piece of herself rather than have said guardian angel do it. Really? Really? Yes. Sousuke was by law Guardian Protectorate of Sungakure, which really was a side title the Sunahoshi had. Sousuke did not really wish to be here, but his father knew Shizu's father and thus ... he had to be here.

The mob encircled Shizu. Sousuke watched and was very much tempted to let them have a piece of her. She was a very foul individual but ... his father's orders were absolute. Not to mention there was a matter of possible trade. The Steward had to think. Taking down this many people from a distant would take too much time. Thus the Steward like on Day One phase shifted down into the fray. He entered melee combat and proceeded to move at exceptional speeds. Some of the mob were virtually on top of her and the Steward worked quickly in to take several blows. The Steward was beaten with a pipe, a bat wrapped in barbed wire, and various other bludgeoning objects. Shizu cried out as to her something ethereal was moving at unseen speeds. Sousuke could not allow himself to be seen, so he merely had to keep moving at speeds that an untrained eye could not follow.

The Mark I protected Sousuke, but the armour was not nearly as thick as the Mark II. Thus several parts were dented and Sousuke was fairly confident he had broken a few ribs, and perhaps had his shoulder broken. He fought the mob, and battled back with the ebon blade, plasma jutsus, and electric jutsus. He could not resort to fire unless he wanted to start a very large fire which would force the fire department to appear. The more and more he fought, he began to hear Shizu cheering about how she had super powers and that she was using her mind to hurt people.

By the end of it, several bodies were lying about in a circle, and Shizu was doing a victory dance about how she beat up a crowd. She was not humbled in the slightest.

ENDGANE

A battered and beat up Sousuke was lying down in a bed in the hospital. His cousin would be attending to him soon enough. Perhaps usage of the Mark II would not have led to him lying her in the hospital, but of course the problem with the Mark II was that it was simply too flashy, and thus part of his mission of allowing Shizu to have her independence would have been compromised.

The Steward winced. Yes. He did not look forward having to tell Shiori the cause of his injuries. No doubt he would be subjected to slang insults. To the Steward's left there was a newspaper. The Steward picked it up, and saw an interesting title. Luck runs out for House Hiota. The Steward read the article. Apparently Shizu after her visit thought it would be an excellent idea to take on the bandits troubling her father. Apparently she met a most unfortunate end which came most promptly due to a cocky attitude asserting that three days living in Suna allowed her to have super powers. She wasn't dead, but she was hurt quite badly... and held up for ransom. The ransom was paid, but the Steward didn't need to concern himself with the financials of House Hiota.

It didn't matter. He had to merely protect her for three days while in Suna, and those three days were complete. Modesty was something the Steward knew well of, and practiced. Hiota Shizu did not. At least Sousuke didn't need to burden himself with such a vile subject for a romantic relationship.
