Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Searchlight
A rather simply device designed for sentries in a lookout in the dark, this technique shines a light within their puppet to track the movements and expose enemies favoring stealth.

Information
Prerequisites: D-Rank, a weapon with the Puppet damage type

Rank 1: Upon activation, the user chooses a single target; halves Terrain Visibility Modifier bonuses from this target.
Rank 2: Upon activation, the user chooses a single target; removes Terrain Visibility Modifier bonuses from this target.

Special Action: By paying +20% CP, this jutsu may be set as a Trap with a special activation trigger; it will activate upon the next successful attempt at entering stealth by any target in battle. This will apply the effects of this jutsu to said target, and instantly reroll their stealth attempt with this jutsu's effects in place.

Rank 1 Cost: 180 Cp, 90 Cp/rnd
Rank 2 Cost: 230 Cp, 115 Cp/Rnd

Note:
- Two called shot attempts that hit the weapon used with this taijutsu will dispel this jutsu. Once dispelled, it cannot be recast for twenty seconds.
- Terrain Visibility Modifiers should be Dim, Dark or Pitch Black.

Puppet Transformation
A handy transformation technique that allows the user to disguise their Puppet in an attempt to fool the target into attacking the wrong target.

Information
Prerequisites: D-Rank, a weapon with the Puppet damage type

Rank 1: The user causes an equipped puppet-type weapon to transform into a replica of themselves, causing it to be a valid target in battle.
Rank 2: The user causes an equipped puppet-type weapon to transform into a replica of themselves or another target in battle, causing it to be a valid target in battle.

Special Action: This may be used with an unequipped puppet weapon; however upon being hit with an attack, the weapon used with this has its called shot level immediately raised and is considered dropped. This does not require a weapon equipped to perform.

Rank 1 Cost: 180 Cp, 90 Cp/rnd
Rank 2 Cost: 230 Cp, 115 Cp/Rnd

Notes:
- An Awareness check is made upon initiation of this technique between the user and all in battle. All those who fail the check will be unable to differentiate transformed puppet from what it transformed into.
- This transformation is dispelled when the puppet is hit by an attack or unequipped.
- Cannot be used with a puppet that is at Broken called shot penalties.
- The user suffers a -1 stackable -1 penalty each time this technique is used. This penalty lowers by 1 at the start of each round.
