Name: Daisuke Ayumu
Age: 11
Physical Description: Ayumu is not extraordinarily tall, or extraordinarily short. He is of average height and weight for his age. There is nothing particularly striking about his facial features. Thin nose and lips, dull brown eyes, and a small jaw. His chin-length curly brown hair is often left unkempt and messy. His body language is that of laziness. He allows his limbs to dangle, a slight hunch in his shoulders, his head level and eyes often slowly scanning his surroundings disinterestedly. His most common garb is a bit more traditional than most ninja these days. A simple black cloth jumpsuit with a sash and foot wraps for efficiency and to eliminate the rustling sounds of clothes. Over all of this he often wears a long black hooded cloak. The hood can obscure his face when up, and the cloak hides the packs strapped to his thighs with his ninja gear in it. His habbit of hanging upside down from trees, causing his cloak to hang around him, have earned him the nickname "The Bat."
Mental Description: Ayumu is not easily excitable, nor is he very easily interested in things. In fact, him most prominent feature is probably the bored expression he often has towards life. When he does find something that catches his interest, however, he throws himself into it wholeheartedly. His posture and mannerisms chance almost immediately. He will become wide eyed, speak enthusiastically, and a large smile might even creep across his face. Ayumu has often been described as having a split personality in this way. He is immensely interested in the scientific study of ninjutsu, and this logical mind lends itself to his combat. He is of the belief that the best attack is that which your enemy cannot see coming. As such he takes to the shadows, taking patience and calculation over strength and will. He is extremely dangerous when he is having fun in a fight, so beware giving him a challenge. That's exactly what he wants.
History: Ayumu was born in the Leaf Village in a time of relative peace. Of course in this world of ours never stays peaceful for long, but Ayumu's childhood happened to be. As such, he got to be trained personally by his Shinobi father, whom was famous for his stealth. Ayumu's dad was fabled to have never been discovered on a scout mission. He was, however, rumored to be extremely weak in terms of combat. As such the other children of shinobi at the academy picked on Ayumu for being small and weak as well. He aspired to have his fathers talent for the shadows, while being pushed by his classmates to toughen up. This created an interesting fighter who could strike from the shadows with precision and power both. His father was very proud.
As we all know, however, peace does not last long. At the age of ten Ayumu's father died in battle. This caused a strange doubt to form in Ayumu's mind. Was his father truly weak, or was it simply war that took his father from him. This, by extension, often causes Ayumu to doubt his own abilities despite them being reasonably impressive. He now trains as hard as any other shinobi in training, however lives his life in doubt of whether or not he will simply fall in the line of duty because he is too weak for the job.
