Medical Branch Specialties:

I'll be using this thread alone (no spamming) to learn all the following specialties over time as well as make path or kinjutsu requests, and any personal one off posts for my Daisuke character:
Medical Branch Specialties said:Any medic can specialize in any attribute of medical knowledge. To gain this, a shinobi must first post a roleplay of at least 600 words or more detailing a duration of time where they trained and received the knowledge. This can be done through several methods. 1.) It can be done in a single post, 2.) over multiple posts, 3.) with another medic who is also training in the same field as you, or 4.) with a shinobi already trained in the field you want. In the case of two shinobi training in the same field AND the same thread, both shinobi must have 600 wc posts. In the case of a shinobi training under a medic already trained in the field they want, the tutor’s word count adds to the training shinobi's WC.
All of these specialties can be trained to one of three levels: Novice, Experienced, and Mastered. Write a roleplay attempting to learn something and pm the Mednin Sennin who will give you your level.
The following are simply suggestions:
For experienced level: role play your medic doing a detailed study of a field over the course of three months and testing their knowledge along the way.
For mastered level: role play your medic doing a detailed study of a field over the course of six months and practicing what they learned along the way.
Note: The only IC requisites to learning a field is to portray learning a field accurately. While you don't have to wait several months Out of Character, please keep in mind that it does take months to learn a new field at experienced and mastered levels. So don't forget to show your character progressing in their knowledge of a subject over the course of the post. It is encouraged to edit your character history to reflect your tutelage. So continuity wise, please act as if you had been learning it for large period of time. For higher grades, Rp testing and practicing your knowledge. Its okay to Rp making mistakes and failing once or twice while learning in the post.
Quick vocab:
[*] Specialist: A physician whose practice is limited to a few particular branch of medicine or surgery. A medic is given this IC title when they have mastered three or more fields. This is the highest rank a med-nin can receive and while still under a chief in terms of authority, this title holds power over all other regular med-nins and MiTs.
[*]Tutor: a shinobi already trained, at experienced / mastered level, in one or more of the fields below and is teaching a trainee. (Note: tutor must have experienced / mastered level in a field they teach, to be able to roleplay teaching that specialty to another shinobi. Also, a tutor can only attempt to teach a trainee up to their current level. Ex: a biology tutor (experienced level) can only try to teach a trainee to experienced level, not mastered level. Either the tutor becomes mastered first, then continues to teach the trainee OR the trainee tries to teach themselves to mastered.)
[*]Trainee: a shinobi training in a field and is being taught by a mentor.
