Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, shadows began to lengthened as the sky slowly grew dark. After having been hired by a mysterious benefactor, Reina found herself tasked with a new challenge; the elimination of a medical researcher who happened to be developing a super cure for a broad range of poisons. Being provided with some details, she already knew where the researcher was located and the number of guards he supposedly had. This, along with a loose time frame, allowed her to survey the area and devise several plans of action. As she approached the would be research facility, a moderately sized building in a poor village, she laid upon the straw covered rooftops of a neighboring building. In comparison, the facility seemed more modern and extremely out of place; odd, but interesting to say the least.

Surely someone, somewhere, had invested a lot of time and money into this research. Taking note of this, she spied upon it and studied the guard rotation meticulously. One patrolled the perimeter, another stood guard at what appeared the front entrance, and the last was assumed to be within the building closely guarding the researcher. There, upon that neighboring rooftop, she laid for a couple of hours just waiting to make her move. As the shadows of the night took hold upon this village, Reina made her move by descended from the rooftop with the grace and landing soundlessly behind the patrolling guard. With swift and precise movements of her hands, she cast a Genjutsu upon him meant to distort his perception. In the guards mind, the night would remain silent and calm as she slipped behind him and shoved a Kunai directly into his jugular, piercing through his wind pipe.

Swiftly pulling the Kunai out, while simultaneously lowering the guards body to the ground, she quickly turned her attention to the guard at the front entrance. Positioning herself against the side of the building, she walked to the corner and peeked around towards him. Reaching down into her pouch, she pulled out a small makeshift bag of blue dust with a small string attached to it and tied to a small stone. Preparing herself for what happened next, she tossed the directly at him. In mid air, the bag slipped open as the blue dust dispersed into the air right in front of the guard. Still peaking around the corner, she watched as the guard grew drowsy while he frantically looked about. The lullaby powder had done it's job and was taking it's toll. As he took a few steps forward, the guard collapsed and fell into a deep slumber.

Once again drawing her kunai, she raced over to him and slashed his throat as he laid on the cold ground. Now turning her attention to the door, she slowly approached it and tried to enter, only to find it locked. Glancing back at the body of the guard the laid before her, she began to pat down his pockets in search of any keys. There was nothing on her person, of course, though Reina didn't mind. Of course, things weren't gonna be that easy. Walking back over to the door, she pulled out a pins and went to work on the lock. Sliding them into the openings, she took her time before finally unlocking it and cracking the door open just wide enough for her to slip inside.

The inside of the facility seemed barren, or more so sterile; it was basically one giant hallway leading directly to the other side of the building, fill with nothing but walls with glass windows, swinging doors, and lab equipment. Though, sounds of footsteps, broken glass, and general ruckus could be heard from a distance. Sticking close to a wall, she cautiously traveled down the hallway before going to a corridor. Peeking around it, she noticed the third guard standing outside of open door. More sounds of glass breaking could be heard, as she watched the guard turn and look into the room out of curiosity. In this moment, Reina instantly reacted as she drew several Kunai and tossed them at the guard, while quickly drawing her short sword and closing the gap between him and herself.

As two of the kunai pierced the guards back, and the third one of his legs, she aimed for her neck and swiftly sliced his head clean off. Immediately, she turned her focus to room he was guarding and looked upon a man in a white coat. Slowly, she crept into the room; Without a word, or single sound, shared between them Reina went in for a swift thrust of her sword. As her blade pierced the researchers stomach, she shifted her weight to get leverage, and slung the blade up to his chest slashing him open from his navel to his neck. As the researcher fell back, she pulled her blade back and quickly sliced his throat as well.

Although she had only been hired to kill the researcher, the guards were destined to fall victim to her ruthless nature. If she hadn't taken their lives, then she would've risked a form of retaliation for assassinating the researcher. Though, as she glanced upon the room, she noticed several broken beakers, an open flame, and several note books. Figuring this was the researchers notes, she took hold of them and lite fire to the room before taking her leave. On the way out, she placed several explosive tags upon the walls of the facility. She had no intention on letting this place survive and be used by another willing to resume the researchers work. As she slipped out of the very door she used to enter the facility, she once again looked upon a corpse of her on making.

She felt no sense of satisfaction in what she had done here tonight. Reina was a mercenary who was hired to do a job; this was just business to her. As she walked further away from the building, she formed a single hand sign and set off her tags. One by one, they began to explode destroying the facility and setting it's rubble ablaze. The job was done.
