Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Learning Abilities:
  • Jutsu Expansion - Role-Play
    • Starting with petty tricks like smoke and confetti, Mori strive to learn more to improve his talent with Genjutsu but most shinobi whose expertise are the same are away in missions or nearly impossible to find or contact. He could only perform what he know or created but he wasn't going to stop there. Mori trained each day with his illusions on passerby. From simple confetti blasts out of nowhere would soon turn into a surprise as the confetti blast illusion would now be accompanied with party streamers, while pathetic in the eyes of a master illusionist, to Mori, it was a definite improvement.
  • Duelist - Role-Play
    • Mori can be somewhat called as a combatant but not a fighter who uses brute force or flashy techniques. He's discreet and quiet like his forte, Genjutsu. Finding things much simple when faced against a single opponent, especially during his Chuunin Exams were he showed such aspect of his fighting capability. His eyes were locked on his target, concentrating to the point where noises such as cheers and boos were no longer being registered in his head. His illusions were much more effective and accurate, easily infiltrating the minds of his target than the usual difficulty he had to go through.
  • Defensive Technique - Role-Play
    • Mori's physical capability are below average when compared to others, attacking with a blade or throwing out shurikens weren't exactly his thing as such he only focused on avoiding incoming attacks with the best of his abilities. Swiftly and fluidly moving around the battlefield was never a problem especially since he only needed to focus was maintaining his illusion once it sets in place. Such was an advantage of a Genjutsu Practitioner like himself who only relies on his mind and those of his target, sacrificing all means of attacking physically and resorting into using solely illusions as he dance around the battlefield.
  • Stalker - Role-Play
    • Mori being scrawny and defenseless as a child, he did developed a weird habit of silently following his older brother. Although he wasn't sure if his brother was pretending not to notice him or he was just good. He actually find it nice to be hidden in plain sight and once he found his expertise in Genjutsu, it only improved his tactical usage of his talent. Silently tracking down his target during his missions before layering their mind with a nasty illusion to divert and persuade his target to his ideal destination all while not being found and successfully completing his mission without his presence being known throughout the time.

For now I can approve everything except for Extra Sensory Perception, but as soon as you pop in a rp for sixth sense and I or someone else approves it, we can get that out of the way as well. (o◞ิ‿◟ิo)

Learning Abilities:
  • Shattered Reality, Concentrated Focus and Illusionist - Role-Play
    • Mori hid behind a tree, his target out in the open, wildly swinging his swords in rage, exclaiming and growling like a wild beast like he is. Mori watched from the shadow of the foliage around him, waiting for the exact time to strike. Even though his prey couldn't see him, Mori didn't acted like the others who would strike the blindside of his enemy, his style wasn't just that. He was discreet and quiet. The man continued to move around, swinging his sword in the air and he was doing his best to look for Mori. That was the time their eyes met, even though the man couldn't distinguish Mori from the shrubs, their eyes definitely met and that was the time. Forming a set of handseals, he released his attack. A Genjutsu that stopped the man's movement and thinking, practically pulling his consciousness from reality. He was in a state of daze, standing still like a withering vegetable, complete with a drool.

It was safe now, more than ever. The man held unto his swords like a baby as Mori walked out from his hiding as he approached the man. Taking out a kunai from his pouch, he started to fiddle with the blade. He wasn't sadistic as one would see but the fact the he was given a mission, he aims to complete it with grace and poise. He stabbed the man in his very hand and with a snap of his finger, the man started to shout in agony. Releasing his illusion while he was in the midst of pain and confusion, a human brain cannot register such information all at once, not to mention with the likes of him. His target collapsed on the floor with his swords beside him, his mouth now foaming from the shock.
  • Enchanter Style and Insight - Role-Play
    • Fancy illusions and such were definitely his forte but for someone who fights with their odd and eccentric style, he knew he had to come up with something to match up despite the fact he was capable of seeing through things, their attacks and movements no matter how hard they try to hide it. He fought with shinobi who held their blades in unorthodox ways, using their mouth or their feet to swing it in different angle which proved to be quite effective seeing how one would not usually see or even face it every day. Seeing how flashy most techniques are, his illusions were of different in terms of visual cue, forming handseals and seeing nothing flashy as opposed to Taijutsu or Ninjutsu. He may be talented with Genjutsu but that doesn't stop knowledgeable opponents from knowing his skill as such he developed a simple way to help his fighting style, distracting his targets with gestures that doesn't fit the situation. Pointing away to pull their concentration toward his finger as such or clapping once to distort their concentration. It was a simple yet very effective method of fighting using his illusions.

Learning Abilities:
  • Sixth Sense, Willpower and Elemental Illusion - Role-Play
    • Mori had always been a keen observant but in a fight, time is always necessary to concentrate, and time doesn't always fall on your side when needed. As such, he honed his senses to the point that his natural instinct would tell him if something was going down. Such particular was when Mori was sent to a subdue a suspected target who might have gained important information from the village itself. Roaming the busy streets, people were passing by as normal every day life would dictate them to do, but for Mori himself - he was on the clock and his superiors won't be accepting failure as a result. He slowed his breathing and concentrated, the noise coming from the passerby drowning in his mind. He recalled the appearance of the target, burning it to his memory. That's when he felt the hairs behind his neck stand, a cold almost chilling feeling but bearable compared to his experience. Something was happening and it did. The scenery before him changed, the people melting away from reality as do the buildings disappeared within his sight. An illusion, a high-leveled for that matter but the execution was terrible and lacking in terms of being discreet as a Genjutsu-user should have.

The scenery changed from the village itself to a quiet and serene forest, relaxing and peaceful were his first thought if ever it was real but he knew it was an illusion. A pathetic attempt. Shrugging off, he let out a sigh as the forest faded from his eyes, returning back to where he was, the noisy streets. As the sound returned to his ears, he spotted a cloaked man on the far edge of an alley. His facial features were enough to distinguish him for Mori. The moment Mori turned his head and made eye contact, the bustling noise from the streets was briefly interrupted when the man started to scream in pain, exclaiming he was burning when the naked eye can see none. Such case was ignored and people treated him as crazy, the perks of using illusions. Mori made his way down the alley to retrieve his target and finish his mission.
