Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A few light jogs around the vast room of sand. It was one of the many training rooms within the dojo. This "Throne of Bone" as they called it. A very interesting place. Satou had his time looking around. As he continued his work out. Doing some one arm hand stand into one arm push ups. He contemplated on going to look for anyone after his training.

He chose this room from the others as it was empty and not many people were walking about outside the training rooms in the area of the dojo. It was quiet, relaxing. Almost easy enough to just lay in the warm sand around him and take a nap after pushing his body a little bit. He had to stay in some shape. He can't let himself lose focus or get too soft around the edges. He had to keep not only his village safe, but he had to care for Kaza. The thought of his love made him wish he was in bed with Kaza rather than training. But than once more he knew he needed this right. Kaza snuggles later, It made him laugh as he leaped to his feat and started doing front flips and back flips. Making sure to train his balance and to see he can still leap and bound easily.

He looked around the place for some weight lifting equipment. Luckily he was able to find himself a few. So he grabbed the largest barbells and weights to stack and lift. His demonic body pushed past normal limitations, so had had to struggle with going beyond what should be necessary. Lifting absurd weights over his head, enough so that the metal bar was flexing under the weight. He had to do many repetitions uncounted till he started to feel the burn in his muscles and sweat starting to bead down his face, chest and back. He kept on going till he could not lift the bar above his head.

He dropped the barbell down after he couldn't hold it anymore. It smashed into the sand with a heavy deafening thud in the warm room. Satou sat down breath, wiping the sweat from his face. Having a breather as he sat on the sand and drank some water. Thinking about what he should work on next? He decided chakra control would be next. Simple walking up walls and on the ceiling would be an easy exercise on his body.

So he simply pace across the room, Pressed his feet to the wall and concentrated the flow of Chakra to exceed past his feet and cling him to the wall. He was walking up it with ease and casual stride like a morning walk. As he was walking across the ceiling to of the room. He was contemplating the workout after chakra control.

As Akuma searched for the one he wished to spar with, he knew he would need to do some training while also gathering any information he could. Watching as this man seemed to lift weights like Akuma would normally do, not being able to tell from the distance how heavy they really were. Once they hit the ground however that was when it was clear to him as he smirked, wasn't often he saw ones with supernatural strength; much like his own monstrous power.

"Hello," Akuma said walking towards the man as he scaled the walls continuing with his training. "Those looked kinda heavy, you're no light weight eh?" He asked as he jumped giving half a flip and landing on the roof with his feet securing quickly to the roof with his chakra. Years of performing medical procedures and training the arts of medical ninjutsu had made him quite adept with chakra control, even if he didn't have much of a pool to work with. Leaning side to side as he began to stretch, listening to the cracks and snaps of his bones; breathing a sigh of relief. Using his left hand to grab at his shoulder as he was easing the tension on his muscles, showing his leaf headband on the left arm; while extending the right to shake the mans hand. "Akuma Kira, of the Leaf."

Only about a day in this village and he had already seen so many people that he would love to spar with after this Queen of Battle. He should have came here years ago when he was in his prime.

The air was warm and palpable with the smell of sweat and sand. Satou was about halfway across the large room when someone's voice halted his movement across. This of course didn't bother him. He simply stood there as if casually strolling a street and was approached by a stranger. Satou's warm ember red eyes gave a soft glow, then ebbed to a charcoal red.

He turned when the Stranger leaped upward and stood upside down but a few feet away from him. From his view now, the room was upside down. The sand above their heads like a frozen hourglass. The man had made some comment about the weight lifting. "Yeah, you could say i'm a bit heavy." He smiled and raised his arms, from their sight it looked as if he jumped. But rather he just left go and fell from the ceiling. Landing with poise, on his very hands. The sensation wasn't pleasant. The force jarred his hands a bit but it gave him a bit of an adrenaline kick.

He laughed and walked over to his stuff, grabbing his towel and drink. Taking a sip as he looked back, seeing the man had a leaf headband, pronounced himself of the leaf village and gave his name. Satou scratched his chin, looking up while taking a swig from his water bottle. Another Shinobi, go figure. "Ketsueki Satou, Kumogakure. I guess you came here to train a bit as well? I'm on vacation myself. Thought i'd get a bit of exercise." He wondered what this stranger wanted to chat about.

"If you needed to use this area by all means. Enough equipment and space to go around." He went back to the weights. Grabbing the barbell that had a substantial amount of weight that was absurd for human standards to lift. It was well more than a thousand pounds. Yet Satou, even for his lean muscle size, was curling the weight as if it was natural to him.

In a blur he flashed the hand signs required to make a blood copy of himself, summoning the mastered blood clone he remained standing there. "Well, not fully. I am here to get a little work out done but I am here looking for someone." He said as the clone leaped over to some of the heavy weights and tossed one up to Akuma as he stood of the roof. Using the weight of gravity above his head as well to gain that little extra he wished. As the clone walked up along the walls to the ceiling to join the real Akuma, Akuma spoke again to the man with demonic strength named Satou, "Ketsueki, I knew a man once with that name. The name of blood. I won't waste your time for to long or bother you, do you happen to know someone called the 'Queen of Battle'?" He asked as his clone joined him and they both entered the fighting stance and using their monstrous strength began to spar one and other.
The clone naturally couldn't keep up but this way at least Akuma was able to hold a conversation with this man while training, using the heavy weights as weapons to swing around at one and other while on the roof. This was how Akuma normally trained which was the reason he sought after this opponent to fight with because his clone or clones where not enough to push him further to get stronger. He felt as though he was at the roof of his abilities and couldn't go any higher on his own strength alone, monstrous as it was.
As he trained with his clone, if the Ketsueki looked closely enough he would be able to see that Akuma's training method seemed easy but his muscles where tearing as he swung the weights around his monstrous power came with its own payments.

Satou couldn't help but smile. Making idle conversation while training. Why not? As the demonic man in simple T-shirt and workout pants watched the shinobi on the ceiling perform a clone jutsu, had his clone retrieve two barbells. Satou watched with sheer amusement in seeing two beings spare with barbells as their weapons. The sheer force and burn on the muscles while swinging big weights under the force of gravity would be jarring for any creature. "Damn, haven't seen that before. Nice." He nodded in acknowledgement at how impressive the display was.

As such he thought of putting a bit more effort as well, he doubled the weight on the Barbell he was using. The sheer weight would bend the bar if pulled squarely from the middle. So, Satou had to do a squatting dead lift. And have it rest on his shoulders to support the bar. He did this, with a bit of exerting Chakra all along his body to support the immense weight on his arms and shoulder.

It was strenuous. But this wasn't the workout. Satou, out of sheer surprise. Began leaping and bounding across the room with the barbell slung over his shoulders. He would leap to and fro across the room like a lunging frog through the air. Even making it as high as the two combatants training on the ceiling. "Eh, I just got the name for what I am." He would jump about a bit and come flying back while answering.

"Nope, never heard of this Queen of Battle. Sounds like a real scary chick to run into." He laughed as he bounced about at lower levels of height. And Eventually stopped to breath and gasp for air as he was sweating. "Whoo!" He laughed as he threw the Barbell with enough force that it sputtered and bounced a few feet over the sand before thudding. "So does this chick have a name? Or you just trying to find the person holding the title?" He spoke as he dried his face off and drank his water. She do some wrong to you friend? Or she a long lost love you're chasing for." His smile was warm. Wondering what the story could be. His curiosity peaked.

Barley giving his clone the attention it would deserve as he looked over to Satou, "For what you are?" he asked as even in his stance he was nimbling dodging the swings of his clone and he wasn't one for dodging to much, deflecting others not to take unnecessary damage because he never knew when he'd find whom he sought. But 'for what I am' did make him curious to what that meant, was he possessed like that kid or was he born being something different; or was he like Akuma made a product of his nurture?

His wonder caused his attention to slip as he was hit in the shoulder by his clone, rolling with the hit slight battle rage took over as he slid across the roof tripping up his clone and following him to the ground with the barbell. Crashing into the ground with tremendous force leaving a bloody mess from his blood clone. "Sorry." he said for the display "I'm sure she has a name but I don't really know it well, mostly just assumptions on titles and rumors. She did nothing wrong, nor is she a lover. Just someone I would like to spar with due to the title... I hope she is worthy of it and I really hope that I am not to rusty."

Satou stood grinning while watching the odd sparring, his statements surely befuddled the man a bit. Satou shrugged when the statement was turned into a question. He wasn't sure if asked, but if the man had pried further on the statement, Satou wasn't afraid to tell the truth about himself. It was better to warn people what he was, encase the demon desired to take control and make it's own introduction. The thought conjured an insidious laugh in his mind. Shut up, stay in whatever dark, decrepit hole you crawled out from. Silence, Satou sighed while bringing his attention back to the battle above. But instead something had happened that he missed and the two had plummeted to the ground.

A loud thunderous thud and splatter hit the ground. Seemed Kira's clone had broken the mans fall. The smell of blood permeated the air, it filled his nostrils. Satou looked frozen as he stared at the blood staining the sands, feeling his throat dry at the sight and smell. He chugged a bit of his water while averting his attention back to Kira. Listening to his words then coming up with his own reply. " She sounds like a nice lass to take on a date." He laughed a bit as he wiped his face with his towel, reaching into his bag he tossed a spare towel to Kira to clean himself up.

"If I was looking for someone specific to challenge to battle. I would probably do something bold like put out flyers issuing a challenge across each village for the Queen Of Battle . Of course, you'd have a number of female warriors probably coming to claim the title as falsely proclaimed. That's a given, but it would get the word around. Akuma Kira is looking to fight the Queen Of Battle. She would probably end up finding you and not you searching for her, if she is as wanting to fight as you are friend." He put his water back in his gym bag he brought with him.

Pulling out a small silver flask he unscrewed the top and drank it's contents. A concoction of heavy alcohol. The burning was good, Satou shot a glance to Kira and handed him the flask while wiping some booze from his lips. "Yeah, I kinda know how that feels. I try to keep myself in shape, but I haven't done anything drastic in years. I've been sorta scared at what would happen if I pushed to my limits." He seemed to look off in the distance, as if looking back through time for a moment where he remembered letting go of his power and unleashing his full potential on someone. Never. He never let the demon out to fight alongside himself to crush his enemies. It was always small spurts of lost control, then a tangling of his mind and soul to keep control.

But what if he let go. What would happen if he unleashed the demon inside of him to fight someone. He looked up to the structure surrounding them. "I don't think the Torauno would appreciate a Jinchuuriki smashing about their Dojo." He threw his stuff in his bag and gave a stretch. From his outward appearance, he looked like a normal twenty to thirty year old man. All be it, his eyes sometimes gave a burning glow, like embers in a fire crackling to life.

"Though if you need someone to test yourself on, I don't mind getting roughened up a bit." His smirk was simple and on the outside he looked calm and confident. Inside though, he was a bit worried about how far a simple sparring match could go.

Akuma still stood there over the spray to red sand the barbell in deep in the ground. He laughed at the idea of a date, "I've not had time to go on a date with a woman ever." He said as his life was always about training and learning to better his flaws. Not to mention having responsibilities thrown upon him or the fact that he never trusted himself or even knew how to date. Catching the towel as he gave a small bow cleaning off the blood and sweat from he and his clone; the wound his clone gave already long healed up as well as his torn muscles. "Not many people in leaf liked being around a monster."

Accepting the flask and taking a swig it had been a while since he had a drink too. After taking the drink Akuma would hand it back with a sigh of relief and a quick thank you as he bowed once more. Hearing that he was a Jinchuuriki, Akuma knew all to well what that was. "A Jinchuuriki just like my boy, he managed to get a demonic phoenix's soul stuck in his body and I understand how you like to keep it in control, and maybe after I spar with this 'nice lass' we should let you have a stretch too. Once we also where away from people, I don't want to burn a lot of chakra healing a village full of people. But if you don't mind, tell me about your demon." Akuma asked as he remember fighting the phoenix, he almost cut it's damn head off. Not that it would have died, just would have re-birthed itself somewhere but that was really the last good fight he had, with a demon of all things. Now that the demon was inside his adoptive son he had to talk and deal with it every so often which proved to be sorta interesting. The demon did not like how he almost killed it with a simple sword, and that usually kept it quiet as it was now in the boys body which would not be able to live in a fight with AKuma and despite what it says, Akuma knew that if his son died before it's soul was removed it too would die.

"The flyers are a decent enough idea by the way, but I've already talked to a few ladies who tried to say they where the Queen of Battle and then chickened out or just laughed as they thought I was joking. And that's just from me blabbing my mouth, I could only imagine how many would come if I was handing out invitations like it was an event for spectators." Chuckling as he really deep down hoped that one of the women he scared away was not she he was looking for after all. That title would be useless for a coward after all.

Satou stood around, watching the wounds heal and Akuma speak of being a monster, Satou could only smirk. Taking the flask back, he finished it off. emptying it, wiping his lips with his wrist holding the canteen, corking it and throwing it at his bag he stood around with his hands in his pockets. Relaxed and yet not drunk yet, just well buzzed. His limbs felt soft and flexible. It felt good to have a nice warm up, he should get out more. Maybe even take on missions again.

He clued into Akuma's words even with his mind elsewhere. A nifty trick when having demon in your mind playing tricks yet still having to be aware of what's going on around him. "A Phoenix?" He breathed in as his mind pulled from years passed images of a giant flaming bird. Remembering he yelled at it in drunken stupor, calling it a stupid #@!$ing burning chicken. Then being roasted to near death by said burning chicken. Satou's face had a paled grim annoyed look from remembering his first encounter with the burning entity. "Yeah, It's a bit rough having another entity in your brain. It's as if someone's in your body, wearing your skin. Pushing you out of the way and trying to move your body for you. You see everything, taste everything. But you're not the one walking and moving. You don't feel it. You're just stuck watching a show staring you, but you're on the couch watching it." He looked about the stadium, pulling back the times the demon took his body and did horrific things in ages long forgotten by man.

He shook off the thoughts, he had to remain in the present, here, standing next to someone. He breathing easy, wishing he had more alcohol. "The creature inside of me. It is a demon, as to what kind of demon? I could never understand. It has kept me alive, hiding among humans for centuries. I am hundreds, maybe well over a thousand years old. I've lost track of time and how old I really am. It get's kinda annoying after you get past two hundred and eighty nine years old." He sighed with a laugh and scratched his chin, talking casually. His warm eyes seem distant for a bit, as if trying to remember something.

"I've held onto this horror for countless time. Trying to find a way for peace to be in my life. To be rid of it. But I haven't found a way that didn't resolve in me dying, and the creature scrambling in the dark to find another host. And it will find another. It's had enough time to. But in that time i've survived and hid. Only a couple years back I came out of hiding in Kumogakure. Became a shinobi of that village, they probably wanted me because i'm a big scary demon man. I'd become a good guard dog. In exchange i'd get to live quietly alone in the village." He could hear the demons laugh in his mind, and it's soft whispers. Why not allow him inside for a bit, let's all have a chat.

Satou could feel the rise of chakra in his body, while he continued talking to Akkuma about his predicament with the Queen of Battle. "Well, you could hire each shinobi village you travel to, hiring them to find this Queen of Battle for you? Mind you they'd request yen for the mission, but the very least you'd have professional eyes and ears collecting information for you." He breathed as he felt again the surge and the demon's voice once more. Ask Akuma if he'd like to meet in person.

"If you want to know more about the demon inside of me. I can show you a lot more then just saying it." He went and grabbed a bench and dragged it over. Sitting down, he got his body relaxed enough that dark chakra began to slowly imitated around him. Coming off of him like black mist falling off his shoulder and back. "If you want to sit or lay down for this. Gotta take a nap and let your consciousness drift a bit. You can take a walk into my mind, meet the ugly thing and jump back out. It's rather easy, can't hurt you. Probably freak you out a bit. It likes to play visual tricks on people. You can pull yourself out by willing it alone. If you don't want to. I wouldn't blame you. Though I can't help describe what it is without showing either through combat, or a walk through my brain." He chuckled and leaned back a bit.

"After this I really wanna go get #@!$ faced drunk." He let the chakra flow outward. and the chakra began to take the shape of a giant being standing beside Satou. It's mass was of writhing tendrils of chakra. It's elongated arm with three giant mandibles reaching out to take Akuma's hand. "Yeah, I know it looks freaky as hell but just close your eyes, It can't hurt you." Satou laughed as he closed his eye's and demons other arm reached out and held Satou's shoulder.

If Akuma accepted the creatures hand touching him and followed instruction. The moment he'd close his eyes and eased himself to nod off into the flow of chakra, he was no longer in that training area.
Inside Satou's mind it was of a different place, the floor was immediately smooth, a nice wooden lacquered floor. Something aged of fine dark colored oak that glimmered in the light of the fireplace. The warmth hitting Akuma's skin felt alarmingly real. The sudden smell of old furnish aged from the floor beneath his feet and the scent of wood burning in the fire. The sound of the old wooden shelves upon shelves surrounding him in the dark library of infinite shelves. The very sky itself was littered with them that seemed to go on forever into the dark above.

Before Akuma the fireplace roared softly with the crackling of wood, and the sound of pages turning. From there sat three chairs facing the fire. Two filled around from Akuma could see siting in one, Satou with his well mannered hair, a nice fine old fashioned suit. But on closer look, the suit was in many pieces sewn back together, or rather pieces plucked from other suits that had fallen apart over unknown time. The middle chair was empty, and sitting across from Satou was the demon.

The Old One, a very grotesque thing as it's limbs were elongated resting with three pale sausage like fingers grabbing the arms of the chair. It's large body covered the width of the winged chair. It's large squid like head was the most noticeable thing upon first glanced, it's beady glowing eyes played brightly while watching the burning fire. It's body also was humanoid enough that it had fashioned a suit to cover itself with. It looked large and well fitted around the horror. It's tendril legs fitted through pants and it's arms well snug in the arms. a business man's suit. A book hovering in front of the creature, opened and pages slowly turning on their own.

Outside Satou's mind, Satou sat perched on the bench slumped forward in a sleep like state. Within the mind of the demon, it's personal library. Where all it's secrets are kept.

(Elder One's Dreams CRPJ
CRPJ's Effect: When the mass of chakra is moving about it sometimes wishes to venture into the minds of other mortals. But sadly it is not powerful enough to leap from one mind to the other while the subject is conscious. The person under the jutsu must be under heavy sleep, as even light sleep can break the jutsu if the person so much as tosses or turns they can break from the "nightmares". Some of the dreams include visions from the demon, sometimes the individual may experience hidden memories or events of their life or even that of Satou's Memories. The Jutsu lasts as long as the subject is asleep.

"So you're quite old I'd say. That must have some with benefits, wisdom does come with age." He replied thinking to himself and his brief time on this planet, how he was far more reckless and savage in his youth. But in his years, he has grown wiser or at least he'd hope so and not let the beast out in some time. Not since those unfortunate bandits that killed Kata, Akuma lost it and showed no mercy for their like.

Everything he was saying, Akuma has heard countless times before from his adoptive son and the demon bird that lives within him. But nothing was certain, which was why every demon host he has met, all the demons are more bark than bite. Because, Akuma assumed that they would actually die and needed the host more than they ever truly let on. "Well their benefit right? As well as your own, being alone for that long would not be good. But if that demon has made you immortal, you will need to learn how to deal with it and make some peace with it. Otherwise you, and it will die in the long run." Life always will end, nothing truly lives forever. At least nothing he has ever seen, rebirth maybe, but still dies.

All he did was smile to the idea of hiring shinobi to find her, but if she was a missing ninja that would be problematic to her and to Akuma if he wanted to just have a spar, and maybe more fights in the future if they have fun. But the idea was brought up about going inside of his head to see this demon and talk with it. Fearless, that was something Satou would realize about Akuma soon enough as he sad down beside him and listened to his instructions, willing himself awake, simple enough. He wondered if all demon hosts could do this and if so, that would make talking to the bird easier than ever.

"Maybe after I fight this Queen we shall get drunk." It was quite hard for the man to get drunk but he didn't mind the idea, he actually quite liked it. Taking the, "hand" of Satou or the demon manifesting itself, Akuma was brought into this other world.

Looking around it looked like a nice place to stay, either Satou had too taste... or... it did not matter. After all this time together their taste would have merged together by now in some, if not most degrees. The fireplace was warm and welcoming. Satou looked here as if he was stitching together his clothing, maybe it was his brains metaphorical sense to make sense of putting himself back together whenever the demon came out to play. Turning to look at this demon, this squid creature was something to behold. Giving a nod to Satou he then turned back the attention to the demon. "Evening, what do I call you?" Akuma asked, showing literally no sign of fear. Because if it was real in here enough to hurt him, he was real enough to hurt it.

Within Satou's mind

While the room felt warm and welcoming, the shadows played behind the monster sitting in the lavished chair. It's slimy skin had a glisten in the burning light. It's eyes reflecting the flames as it's feelers upon it's face writhed and moved. It's bellowing deep, somber voice filled the room rather then coming from the creature's mouth. "Please, have a seat. You must be exhausted from the work out." What sounded like a laugh filled the room. Before Akuma,in between the two chairs, a third chair formed before Akuma. Identical to the two. And before him, in front of the fireplace a small table but arms distance. On it sat a crystal glass, filled with what looked like water. If Akuma took it and drank it, it was simple water. And he could feel it, as though he was enjoying an ice cold glass.

The demon's voice was ever present as it leaned back into the large chair and moved it's hand over the floating book in front of it. "A name you ask? Hmm, and we have not yet formerly met Sir. You have not given me your name first." Another somber laugh. In the chair adjacent Satou groaned as if annoyed by the creature. "Pay it no mind friend, it know's your name from you saying it to me. It's just being obnoxious. It doesn't have a name. I never heard it tell me one nor has any human named it other than The Old One, The Elder One. Stuff like that." The demon's laugh was calm as was it's voice in retort. "Indeed, I nary had a day pass that I dare not call myself anything other than old." The laugh as the demon patted it's chest, a deep sigh filling the room as it wave the book away and it flew slowly across the room back onto one of the many shelves.

"You may refer to me as, Kodai. Ancient. Yes?" Satou looked a bit dazed at the monster, it never chose a name before. Why was it now, after centuries giving itself a name of some sort. It's laugh was as though moving around the room as it leaned closer over. it's pale slimy skin gave no odor. It just gave the looming feeling of it's presence pushing onto Akuma's side to the creature. "Tell me more of this predicament you have with your son." Turning in the chair slightly to face Akuma, it's malformed grotesque hands both wresting on the arm.

While on Satou's side of the room, Akkuma can feel an empty void feeling. Satou's voice cut through like a sharp knife as to what Akuma mentioned before they jumped into this mental world.
"With age, your wisdom comes at the cost of mistakes."

He knew the tricks demons could play, whether this one was or not meant little to him. Akuma looked to the seat and the drink of water, giving a small bow before apologizing, "I'd rather stand as I can't stay to long. I should rest my real body in a bed before I have my spar. Let's face it, a light sleep on a bench shouldn't be a good place to rest." He was honest but he was curious about this little world. "I'll have to explore this place one day, if that is okay with the two of you." Despite the water unknown to him being simple drinking water, this was in a metal realm so it was not real in the long run.

The brute did laugh at the idea of introducing himself a second time, he did know that the demons inside of their hosts could hear. Unless they really tried not to, but what would be the benefit of that? Looking to Satou smirking as the conversation with the demon went on. Once he did get a name, Akuma would respond "If that is the name you wish; Kodai. But I hope not to insult but 'Ika' seems also appropriate." Ika meaning squid, thinking it was a good name because if the demon himself was going for his age for a name why not his appearance?

"As for my son, just a phoenix that he accidentally sealed into his body and now lives with it. For a while it tried to play it off as he would live after the death of my boy. But I think we all know that isn't true." He said looking right into the eyes of Kodai smirking figuring they would both understand the meaning behind it all. "But that's also why I would like to finish this sparring match and then get home. He is a little reckless and hot tempered like me when I was his age."

He said as he got ready to will himself out of this metal sanctum, or elegant prison maybe more like it but not wishing to leave to soon and be rude.

(Sorry, been dealing with rather difficult situation)

The world seem to twist a little as te demon tilted it's squid like face, his chest jiggled as the room filled with it's laughter. "Oh Satou, I like this one We should definitely invite him back here sometime." The demon slowly raised itself from the chair and advanced closer to Akuma. It's freakish height dwarfed all men. Including Satou while he stayed sitting in the chair, his eyes still upon the fire held within the fireplace.

"Yes, Ika would have been a clever one as well." A low rumble of laughter, it wave it's hand in the air and behind Akuma, door to this room swung open, a blinding white light signifying an exit for the man. "No, I would say a good nights rest in bed is much needed. But as you leave, let me give you this my new friend. No creature, no matter it's malevolence or innocence, accidentally seals a phoenix to a child's body. Either you lie, or wish to hide something of the event from me. Or you simply have not seen the truth yet." It's arm outstretched hand open towards the exit.

"As you are good sir, I hope you survive so we may meet again and discuss the events of your child. As I will tell you now, even if Satou were to die-"

Satou piped in as he forced Akuma out of his mind. Now the two sat alone in the training area of the dojo. Satou tat rather hunched forward with his elbows propped on his knee's and his hands rubbing his face as he finished speaking allowed. "It won't die, at least I know the thing inside of me won't die If I kick the bucket. It'll only take time for it to be summoned by someone trying to obtain demonic power." He slowly got up and gathered his things, his words and look on his face showed distance. As if he was still trapped elsewhere. "I wish you good luck on your duel. I'm sorry about your son. Maybe If I meet him someday. I'll see if I can't help him." With that he would leave without much word.

He was thinking heavily on what would happened if he died, and the monster would be allowed to choose a new victim. He wouldn't even wish this fate on his worst enemies. The thought made the demon laugh inside Satou's mind as Satou left the dojo to go find Kaza.

[OOC: S'all good, I'm a patient guy.]

"I would be happy to, if Satou would wish it too." Akuma said giving a small bow to the re-invitation to Satou's mind. The demon giving him the piece of advice that it was no accident, Akuma did not believe in fate or things out of his control. However, he did know that it was not the phoenix nor his son who wanted the demon inside of them. Even though now he knew his son would never want to be rid of the power, or the burning demon within him. They seemed to have to many things in common to part now.

"Ika, I don't lie. But withhold facts..." He said with a smile, "but neither planned it to happen." Akuma not being at the scene couldn't give it one hundred percent of his truth but he knew his son although a fool, was a honest fool. Being cut off from the end of the discussion, Akuma now sitting on the bench. Giving his back a stretch, "Well that was interesting. Him dying or not doesn't change that over the years his power has kept you alive, no?" Akuma asked, but almost not like a question he sought an answer for, "there is a reason people or things do what they do." Akuma never heard of a demon giving one immortality but if this things did so, either by its power or not there had to be a reason. Coming back to life or waiting to be re-summoned may take eons, and that maybe something it hated the most.

"Don't go dying to find out, that demon will take pleasure in your torment. As I am aware you know. Good luck and remember, we need a drink one day. If you come to the Leaf, let me know." He said letting him leave as Akuma sat there on a bench for a little while before getting up. Smirking, because if offered help he didn't know if his son would take it. Stubborn pride, just like his old man.
