Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Reito Ko. An eight year old boy from the lands of snow. He had only livd in Suna for a few years now, and he still wasn't quite used to it yet. He was always getting lost, and the ida of living underground scared. It reminded him of when he was a child and was stuck in a cave for weeks by himself. The boy, because of the trama in his childhood, was scared of everything, but recently he had developed a new fear. The fear of his own body. Something had happened to the boy, and he doesn't know what.

His foster mom, Akira, Had told him to go to the Caduceus Tower to try and find a Med-Nin that could give him a check up before he started school. The orientation for the boy's class was in a few days, and he wanted to make sure that he was healthy enough to attend the school. He didn't want to fll behind as soon as he started. That would make it impossible for the boy to grow up to become strong.

Ko rubbed his eyes as he entered the building. He was afraid of his left arm. For some reason, all of the vein in his arm turned black, and as his adreneline pulsed through his veins they thickened and turned his entire left arm red. he pain was awful, and he didn't know why it was hapening. He even had an incident where his arm turned into a metallic like claw to fend off Shira during their fight. He was afraid of what was happening.

As he entered he saw a taller lady sitting at the front desk. he had a nurse's assistant's uniform on and her blonde hair was pulled up into a bun on the back of her head. He glasses were thin and pink, and she wore a silver necklace loosly around her neck. Ko thought she was pretty. She looked over at him and smiled, and motioned him to come closer. As Ko walked over his face turned red. "I-I-I n-need a che-check up." He stuttered und looked up at her. She smiled, and wrote something down. He grabbed the phone and dialed a few numbers. Looking over at Ko she smiled, "Go take a seat, someone will be with you soon." she looked away and spoke to someone on the phone.

Ko walked away and took a seat on a near by couch. He rested his hands in his lap as he looked up at the ceiling. Twidling his thumbs, he began to think of all of the horrible things they may have to do to him to fix his arm, surgery, vaccinations, amputation? His eyes began to water, hopefully he was safe. He didn't want to lose his arm, how would he be a ninja with one arm?

Work. It wasn't the same anymore after finding the secret corridors that were hidden and the awful things that lurked behind walls. It wasn't the same when the massive wedding ring you wore was from the medical chief. It wasn't the same when you didn't look like a monster, and you could see. In fact, when Itami proved that she was capable of seeing and doing proper medical procedures, she got the majority of her job back. In fact, today she was in the General Health facility, and fully working with her hands full. Kuro had given her a wonderful gift. Kasa had given her even better. The giving was never ending! Even now, her fingers pressing the speaker button on the telephone, she was excited to hear she had another appointment. Itami loved work.

Walking out into the waiting room, the boy may or may not of recognized her. She was bandaged fully from the chin down, but this time wore a lab coat over the bandages (which had been replaced with cleaner, and more decent roll, or rather, rolls.) and, the main difference, her face was somewhat exposed. She had an iron mask on the left side of her face, which covered severe burns, while the right side was exposed. Her skin was whiter than the hottest stars, smooth, and her eyes were piercing and multiple colors--blue, green, and brown. The Hashigaki had prized eyes, but they were blind. Her eyes were unfocused, which would be a sign of this blindness--if not that, the crystal eye that hovered above her, made completely out of sand, would be another sign of her blindness. It was her handicap, and gave her eagle-eye vision.

Twirling a bandaged finger around her thick raven-black hair, the woman peered into the room and pointed to the boy, 'K-K-Ko?' Her voice was just barely a whisper, and it was painfully raw and hoarse. An ugly voice--horribly hard to listen to. 'I...k-know....you...' She said quietly, taking deep, audible, and long breaths between phrases--which sounded just as painful. 'Fo--foll...follow.' She motioned with her hand as she moved (in nothing but bandaged feet) down the corridors into a little white checkup room.

'You..g-go to...school?' She inquired, asking about his new ideals as she grabbed a stethoscope and paused before putting it down on his arm, turning his arm over (her face still staring straight forward. Mind you, she's blind, and is seeing strictly from the sand above her head. She'll never look directly at him, or what she's working with.) as she scowled a bit, 'Wh...what...ha-happen?'

As Ko sat in the chair and waited, he began woring about what he might to go through to see if his arm was ok. He was worried that they would have to get long needles and draw blood, or even use acupuncture. He began to panic. The thought of thousands of needles being pushed into his body made him want to scream, but before he could he heard his name. He turned to see a rather tall mummy. His eyes shrank, was this his doctor. He stood up and slowly walked towards her. She knew who he was? How was that possible? His knees began to shake. "I-I-I'm coming..." He stuttered and tried to not show his fears. His eyes watered as he followed the tall scary looking woman. Was she going to kill him?

He followed the doctor to her white checkup room. He headed over to the examination table and sat down on it. He looked down, pulling his body in tight, trying to disappear. He looked at her for a second when he heard her voice and then looked away. "Ye-yes, w-well not-t-t ye-yet-t. I, I-I s-st-start soon..." He forced himself to speak. His stutter was worse now than usual. Normally he could have spoke more clearly, but his fear of this woman was insane. He looked away as she placed the stethoscope on his arm. It was cold, it made Ko feel a little better. he looked up at her and realized she wasn't looking at him, did she hate him already? what did he do to her? he was afraid she would kill him because he stuttered. He closed his eyes and dropped his head, but he heard her question none the less.

"I-I don't kn-know..."

The last time he was in the medical center was with Kasa; he scraped his hands and Kasa helped him out. Ko honestly didn't know what happened with his arm. He was unaware that Kasa had followed him home, caught him in a genjutsu and injected the black serum into his neck. All he knew was that for two weeks after his visit to Kasa's he was nearly unconscious. It had been three weeks since his last visit, and he could walk around now. The arm however, still throbbed with pain. He was afraid she was going to cut it off. All he could do was think of this scary woman inserting a blade into his arm to remove it.

The two appeared to stutter the same as he tried to talk to her about school. Itami's miraculous eyes shimmering in the artificial light. Those eyes that had both blue, green, and brown sections in them that looked like a three-colored-wheel. They never focused on anything though, and always stared staring straight from where her head was aimed. But the crystal eye stayed floating above the room made completely out of sand as the woman analyzed the pulsating arm. The skin was hot, swollen, and appeared to have something under it. The woman took a moment took look at it before standing and moving away from the clueless boy. Grabbing a syringe and putting on laytex gloves as she turned to him, and gave a gentle smile (her eyes staring at the wall above his head), 'G-Going to...t-t-t-take some blood.' She said in her hoarse and painful voice as she moved to him and sat on her little stool in front of him. 'No-No...worries. Clo-cl-cl-close your eyes...one...t-t-two....thre-e-e-eee....' She'd move the needle in swiftly and quickly putting in the small vile to collect the sample as the most sickening thing appeared.

Black sludge-like material poured into the glass vile, the crystal eye moved down to stare into the vile closely as the color swirled and filled. Removing the needle, she quickly held a cotton swab on the wound, taping it down, 'P-Put...pressure.' She muttered, trying to stay calm as she put the vile into another container and grabbed the phone as she placed the entire syringe into the biohazard box, "H-Hello? Kasa?...Com...come to room....tw-tw-tw-o thir--thirteen now'

What the hell?

Ko tried to smile, the scary lady's eyes were pretty, and he had been taught that the eyes were the gate to the soul. She had to be a very beautiful person inside. She had to be nice, her eyes were amazingly beautiful. He had a smile on his face as she came to him and felt his arm. She would help him. He knew that the doctor lady was a good person. He let out a sigh of relief and took a deep breath. one. two. three. He closed his eyes, the needle entered his skin, and took some of the black blood. He tightened his eyes as she removed the needle and placed a cotton swab on it. His arm began to burn. The pain was intense. He looked over at his arm as the doctor lady walked away. the veins were fading, and his arm was turning red. It was trying to protect itself. The black blood boiled in his veins. The heat burned the boy as he let out a scream. The red arm, with black nails and thick visible veins, hurt the boy. He want to get rid of this curse, how did it happen to him.

It had happened before. When Shira had attacked him while he was still healing from the attack, not only did it turn red, but became metalic. It hurt more than anything else he had ever known.

Kasa had spent most of the day in his office, he really needed to catch up on some work. However, it wasn't as if he really enjoyed doing this work - he dreaded it with a passion. It was probably the awkward part of his medical career; trying to articulate the little, or no care, for some of these patients that were only really paper-based to him. Whatever that meant. Gladly, the phone rang and within a few spare moments of it 'bringing', the med-chief reached over and answered to the familiar voice, whom requested his presence, "Okay, I'll be down in about 15 minutes." He placed the phone down against the hub, loving the sound of it making contact, it always reminded him of being young and playing 'office'.

Kasa quickly ran through the remaining items of his files, not really taking too much caution before accumulating all the files into one bundle. Before even approaching room thirteen, he went to the reception of that specific ward and retrieved the information about Itami's patient: his name. "Reito Ko?" He bit his lip, staring distantly away from the staff nurse who felt a little awkward sitting there in silence. But after a few moments of contemplation, his memory clocked on and he had remembered why he knew that name.

Reito Ko was his experiment.

And it seemed like he survived, although the interest for this lab rat had really worn off.

"Good afternoon," He said as his hands were the first things to slip through the threshold with a wave, "You called, Itami? oh, hello there, Ko-san"

The screams of a child rang through the small office. The sensitive ears of the mummified doctor rang out in the same pain as her body turned to him and her hand smacked over his mouth. Had he not been a patient, she would have striked him across the cheek. Screaming like that while her Hashigaki ears rang out in pain. "Q-Q-Quiet!" She stuttered before grabbing his arm and watching the way it reacted to the needle. The woman could almost hear it hiss at her, like some sort of demon possessing this poor child's body. Observing the nails that blackened, and the veins that pumped more black blood to close the small puncture and flow more violently. The blood was alive.

Her fiancée was quick, as always, and made his way into the room as she held the small vile in her hand, Ko crying to myself in pain. To be honest, Itami couldn't blame him. Whatever it was, it wasn't normal, and it wasn't going to feel very good. Itami took her husband's shoulder, and guided him to face away from the boy as she handed him the vile, "Y-Your...the gen--genius...what is...it?" She whispered in the Hashigaki tone so no one, even those with the best of hearing, could hear but the person she intended to hear it: Kasa. "It...it's...alive in-inside of...him." She mumbled to him again before giving him the vile and turning back to the boy, sitting down in the stool and brushing her hand over his tear-stained cheeks.

So soft. So youthful. This boy was full of young flesh, fresh blood, and beautiful and brand new organs. How she craved to be as beautiful as this little boy. Her vanity and envy raging up inside of her as she slowly leaned back to look at him carefully. "How...o-o-old are you...Ko?" She asked, trying to recall the name that Kasa had just called him. What age was this skin at it's perfect? Ripened and ready to be harvested--the peasants of the land would say.
