Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

And here he was at it again, out and about in the Red Lights, getting a better image of the district while helping making it a better place, or so he hoped. And that was to say that his currenct contract wasn't even the main reason he was here, he just hoped that one criminal would lead him to a whole group of them. Really this was not the best strategy if one wanted to live safe, but he was looking to get back to those bastards after what he'd seen on his last mission, no playing around and if he were to get into trouble he by now knew the surrounding area pretty good, an eidetic mind helped a lot with that. He clearly had a lot of confidence in his own ability. Much like the last time, the shinobi was dressed in casual attire, leaving his long coat the usual boots at home together with his med-kit, so the only thing that would possibly help him were a few Kunai in case shit really went down south, but he was hoping that he'd need them at best to protect himself, killing was ugly and unnecessary in his eyes, atleast he could let the people who were higher up or keeping watch on prisoners, decide what to do with anyone he'd bring in, the blood on his hands was from people he was hoping to give life to, not of those he'd take it from, or so it had been until now. The young doctor was painfully aware that he'd have to kill with this profession eventually. For now he continued his way through the streets of the Red Lights though. Looking like the avarage habitant and being totally relaxed nobody would notice anything outstanding on him, again probably partly from his hat hiding the snow-like hair on his head. Tatara had gotten information on his target, some of his habits as far as going out went and his looks. Takehaya was the name of the man, he was about 33, they couldn't actually tell his current age, some of the people down here didn't seem to be on the grid due to the ever changing nature of this hole of an living area. Tatara decided to visit a local pub that his target seemed to frequent. He sat down for a good while, ordering beer that he had stading infront of him on the table long enough for it to get warm, making all the less appealing to drink - it was cheap already. It took all day and into the evening until his patience was reawarded. By now he had counted the number of heads in the pub over and over again and his beer was still untouched. He had come to the conclusion that noone here in the bar seemed to be suspicious and had contemplated leaving atleast twice when his target stepped through the door and sat down a few tables across from him. Nobody seemed to want to approach him exept for the staff to take an order, but then again, nobody paid him any mind an everybody kept going on with their business. Tatara watched as his target gave the waitress a smack on her behind and the waiting game would continue as the guy kept chugging down pint after pint until he seemed satisfied when it was already deep into the night. Tatara by then had ordered a second beer that he had not touched. The waitress gave him a weird look but let him sit there as he gave a good tip. Finally the target would get up to leave, in his, probably, drunken state accidentily pushing a chair over as he made his way to the door. Tatara waited for a moment, stretched with a yawn and got up. Sitting there had really gotten his limbs all lame and cramped up. He was luckily right and could see his target slowly walk down the street and into a side alley. It was dark and Tatara wasn't able to see it, it probably was an image he didn't need anyways, but from the smell it was clear that the guy took a piss and Tatara took an extra few steps away as if the smell would stick to him. The doctor was questioning if it was even the right target by now, he seemed just like another drunk, but especially at night he had to remain careful. The guy came walking out of the alleyway again and got back on his way slowly making his way down the road until he went into another side street. Here Tatara saw his chances of capturing the guy, so he crept up to the edge of the wall, looking around the corner. Target still there and still walking, ok, time to test out some of his ninja techniques he'd been earning these last few months. He formed the handseals in his head far before he could react with his hands, which made him feel like he was far too slow. His hands eventualy formed the seals and he did cast his chosen jutsu, but the result wasn't what he had hoped for. He didn't technically mess up, but his target suddenly moved unexpectedly in the way that he fell straight on his face after stumbling over his own feet. Tatara had casted a waterprison to try and stop the man, but also to silence him inside the water well that didn't work out so he released the jutsu. His target didn't seem to have realized anything yet so he quickly approached and turned the guy on his back, holding a kunai to his throat, one foot on his chest to keep him down. What happened next he didn't expect again as the guy honestly started to vomit all over his shoe. 'What a foul smell' was what came first to Tatara's mind as he proceeded to knock his target out cold. It was a real struggle to move this lifeless body, but he managed to get the guy deeper into a few sidealleys, cuffed him and bound his eyes. He splashed water on the guy a few times to wake him up. Took a little while but it worked and so he had him one-on-one for himself with no more shenanigans. "Urrghhh, where'm ay?" He said clearly not on the height of his abilities yet. It's not really important where you are, know that I captured you and am going to send you to prison once you've answered me my question. I'm not playing, so should you not cooperate I'll have you just go to prison, if you're kind enough enough to answer me though, I'll try to put a word in for you, how does that sound? Tatara was lieing, it was one of the rare occasions where he just wanted his information and lieing would probably be fastest, he atleast doubted that anyone would listen to his pleas had he really intended to help this scum out. "Ugh, not so fast, what even is going on." The guy asked and Tatara could only sigh. "Takehaya, that is you name if I am not mistaken, I am here to get back at you for your crimes, but I want to know if you can tell me anything about Morioto and his gang." The tone in his victims voice changed as he answered on Tataras request. "Huh?!? Morioto that bastard got me into trouble again? He can fuck right off. Listen man, put me in prison, but get that bastard, he's making everyone's lives hard by terrorizing everyone whenever he feels like it. I've done some shit to keep myself afloat, but he's the worst." So the guy admitted he was a bad person, huh? HE seemed to have his own reasons, but Tatara didn't feel any pity for him and instead asked again. "But where do I find him?" The older man just stared at him under his hidden eyes and spoke calmly but with a little anger in his tone. "They occupy an old warehouse in the south east of the district it's run down, but there's always someone standing guard." He then proceeded to explain in detail how to get there and how one could enter before ending with an unnecessary, "...hehe, hope you don't get distracted by one of his whores." At which Tatara knocked him out again as he didn't seem to know much more, just the bare minimum of how to get there. Luckily he had his own grievances with Morioto and his gang so he was open to tell Tatara about them, but that didn't gve the ninja any different impression of the guy. He'd fight with himself to drag the guy of and deliver him to fullfill his contract, which didn't really matter to him at this point, the rewards were nice, but he wanted get rid of that gang... but first he'D have to leave for home and take a nice long bath, he hadn't felt so dirty for a long time.
