Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

This place was a ruin. Not far from here a great underground sea spread with just one landmass in it. The isle of man it was called. Said to hose people so content with there status that they made the most peaceful place in all of stone. Shikai would like to go there but first he had to check out something here. A report of lone child that had wandered these ruins long ago had reached him. Apparently last year something strange happened here and people had been pushing it aside but when Shikai heard it he had to come look for evidence that it was true. The child had apparently seen a man made of light be swallowed by shadows. Sounded like any other nightmare a kid might have, and it didn't have much detail regarding the event, but something about it made Shikai think that it was not just a dream. The child had said that out from the shadow stepped a scary teenager with yellow eyes, pale skin and black hair. Sounding just like a description of someone have had an eerie feeling about ever since they met a little over half a year ago made him want to come check out the place.

This may be a wild goose chase but it is worth checking out. Though I may need to enlist the help of someone well trained in sensing chakras if I an to undercover something from a year ago.

Shikai went through the ruins an came upon a burial ground with 51 graves with crystal tombstones. A sight to behold indeed but that was not what Shikai was after. He kept searching and found signs of a struggle. Someone was fighting off something to such an extent that it had left permanent marks on the ground. Shikai followed the marks to the water where the struggle seemed to have ended. At least there were no longer any clear tracks leading away. The strange thing was that even though there were marks from distress they all seemed to come from the same person. How could it be a fight with just one participant?

"This is strange indeed"

Shikai found more tracks. Some he did not understand. Dancing perhaps? Others were clear marks of running in an evasive manner. It must have been someone really fast running here cause the steps were as far apart as a giants but small as a normal human. Deep too. They suddenly stopped about 10 meters from the side of the cave and disappeared. The last two were more pronounced than the others even though they were very clear but he could not find any more steps.

Can he fly this sucker? It's as if the one who made these tracks just jumped straight into the air and did not come down. Jump? Running jump!

Shikai went back a bit an then did a running jump towards the wall. He molded chakra into his feet to grab on to the wall. It was solid stone so unless there were breaks anywhere he would not be able to find any more tracks up here. He knew that whoever ran towards the wall before jumping was considerably faster so he went up the wall a bit and started to look for any dents in the wall but found nothing.

Shikai knew that whoever was up here had to jump down at some point but he did not know how far up the wall the one he was tracking had gone before deciding to jump down. His only chance of knowing anything was to commune with the spiders but he had yet to master that skill and if this happened a year ago the spiders present at the time would either be dead or long gone. He had to give up here. He returned to the ground ready to call it a day. Before going he would write down what he had found out and take a sample of the strange tombstone. Not everyday you see a crystal like that and here he had stumbled upon not just 1 but 51 of them. And all of them somehow linked to whatever happened here in the first place. After bagging a sample and writing down notes at the same time, he quickly packed up his gear, put on his long coat used to keep him warm and hide his extra arms in public, and started heading back towards home.
