For years many shinobi have been leaving the comforts of their village gates for the exclusive prize of becoming a contract holder. Pass or fail, slow mod or fast mod, bad mod or good mod, the experiences varied with the various users. Going from one set of hands to another, the contract team head mods that I worked with, Nakata Daichi, Minamoto Taro to Emirii, back to Minamoto Taro and then back to Emirii, they were doing a waltz you see. Leaving their own marks, Daichi spurred the team to complete mods faster than they previously were being done, Taro (now the Head Admin Setsumon Rozan) and Emirii then gave us new contracts and up to date builds and skills.
Recently, even before her departure, Emirii gave the site increased search results for a short while. I aim to continue the tradition of growth by not only pushing for more diverse contracts still, but also towards contract events where contracts hold a bit more continuity between one searcher and the next and where signing a contract means more than ending a topic with a new toy for battle. To do this, the contract team might very well need to expand, we'll certainly have to be open to new ideas and most importantly we'll have to ask for your trust as a player base to pardon our dust as we build something new. In the meantime, your contract mods might be a little distracted to which a nudge would be helpful. Please bear with us during this phase and know that we're always striving to do our best for you, the RPer.

Below you'll find some less formal stuff . . .
1) There's to be a set of contract event contest in order to allow all a measure of input as to the direction of the contract team. Please remember to be creative and to dig deep and give us some good ideas! The best ideas will be used in the upcoming event(s).
2) Having found all forms of logs from the old site, all users who held a contract on the old NC with their last living PC, or who started this new NC off with a contract is eligible for a free contract. Before it was stated that all contracts were to be revoked for the new site after being allowed. That was based off of a lack of logs, which we currently now have. Free contracts must remain on tier, so unless you had the Demon Contract on the old site, then you may not exchange your contract for either Kami or Youkai. Going from Canine to Shark, etc is perfectly fine however. To apply or re-apply for a contract, post either in a current OCR or in the C-Mod Request area with the title, [Contract Reclamation] with the original name of the character that had the contract, the contract had and the contract that you're requesting. Please keep in mind that once a contract is given to a character that it is locked to them as this has been a long standing rule save for in the instance of a version/site transition, meaning that once a contract is placed on your current character that it is binding and may not be given to another character that you may one day RB into.
3) On a sad note, to better focus our energies on current projects, contract searches will not be allowed for the next two months while the contract team fixes, updates and creates new contract "material". This starts on 8/9/2013. All current contract searches will be RP'd out until their conclusion. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
