Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Dive Shop of Iwagakure
[col]Here lies a small room hidden within the Temple. While open for any to come, its services are not widely known; rather, the concept of diving into another's mind is a fable. Only those who have seen Gun really know the truth of it. The room is dimly lit and has a light pastel of colours, giving the room a calming sense. A ornate bed, covered with some artistically-designed fabric provides place for the one being dived into to rest. A chair is all that is provided for the diver. Another chair, faced opposite to the diver, is where the elderly man, always donned in the cloak of the Shamans sits, always waiting for one to take the ordeal of diving into another and finding new strength for both from it.|
Rules and Information
Here is a peaceful place. This is a small room within the Temple, owned and supervised by Gun. You may only dive with the consent of the person being dived into. While inside the other's mind, the landscape and characters are the creations of the subconscious of the person being dived into. Under no circumstance are they able to injure the person diving. At worst, the only thing they can do is remove the person diving, or move them into a different part of the person being dived into's mind. Any questions about the process please ask OOCly. As questions are asked, answered will be added here.

Any kind of dangerous influence occurring during the dive will provide adequate reason for the diver and one diving to wake up.

The one being dived into generally will only allow one they trust (i.e. have close relationship with) into their subconscious mind.[/col]

Enter her mind, how inappropriately appropriate. Should she have felt weird about such a prospect? Or had it simply just been that she had seen all, heard most, and had a good amount of things done to her that she had become beyond the point of care? Not necessarily, but she just needed someone to share the burden that she felt. She needed someone that understood just how lost she felt. She couldn't let Souji know, not her mother, nor her siblings. It was hard sitting up on some kind of pedestal, and even harder that she couldn't absolutely fucking lose her mind at any point. She had to be calm, cool, and collected. The three big C's. So that was that. As they stopped at the door, Haruka's eyes would watch Keita for a moment.

"Then let's get this explanation on the road, no?" She'd state with a small, almost dark smile. The very canines in her mouth seemed the slightest of bits sharper than one would want to see. Her hand would reach down, and she would grab onto the door handle, pushing the door open with her hip. Absolutely nothing shy about Haruka here. She made her way inside of the room, whether Keita liked it or not. And she would take in the sights of the room, her eyes wandering around.

Kono Haruka was far too prepared to enter the room. She was foolhardy to say at the least. She was walking into this procedure without any signs of understanding what she was about to experience. Keita wouldn't tell her what he understood of it, and from his understanding he knew not much. The Jun let a soft sigh as he stepped into the room; two sets of eyes followed the few steps he took.

The man they wished to see, the older man, was sitting in the chair immediately before them. He made no effort to arise; rather, he seemed alert enough and closely watched the two intruders. He was older than old; a relic of the timeless order of Shamans in Iwagakure. How or why he even had this room was a record lost to time; it was an accepted fact of life, one that not many knew about, however. His tunic was standard: a simple grey, well cleaned, and not in the slightest baggy on the small, elderly man. His face had more wrinkles than he might've had hair in his youth.

"Gun, we seek your services," Keita would say, speaking quieter now than he had earlier. Haruka had...a different approach. Much the same as she seemed earlier, she was demanding for what explanation and to begin the Dive. What could possibly be in her head that wanted to have this done so badly?

"My my," the elder spoke, coughing slightly after the vocalization, "it is not often that one wishes to be Dived into. Tell me, girl, are you not afraid? Do you trust our Jun in more than your conscious self? Will your subconscious let him in or will he be purged immediately?"

Keita remained silent. He knew that he would say what he was saying; he was obligated to. If one didn't know what they were getting into, they could hurt themselves badly. And obviously, since Gun was doing this rant, he did not recognize her face. This was her first time.

"These Dives into your mind allow the diver to interact with your subconscious, which can change the very fabric of your being. Do you not fear that you will end a different person than you began?"

"Knowing this and who you trust, tell me, girl, do you wish to Dive?"

It was as though whether Keita wished to or not didn't matter. It was, at the very least, less of a concern for him than it was her. While Keita had never dived into another either, he was, at least, familiar with how it was done. He would be interacting with Haruka's mindscape. Her mind guardian and her subconscious. He needed to meet this other infiltrator, one who had done so so long ago that Haruka accepted the being as a part of her, even if she might clash with it. It was integral to who she was; Keita couldn't remove it or injure it while within Haruka's mindscape -- there was also the possibility that her subconscious mind might protect it because she believed deep down there that it had to stay for Haruka's sake one way or another or that Keita shouldn't be the one to interact with it and the other possibility that Haruka's mind might reject him all together, a fate that the Jun was actually expecting. The two hadn't known each other for more than a half hour, after all.

"I consent to it if Kono Haruka understands and still wishes to."

The foolish ones were the ones who typically suffered enough to the point of rash behavior. The woman's pedestal was not to high to experience such issues, though. The young woman would stop, pausing in her stance as she listened to the two converse between one another before the conversation turned to her. Blinking a few times, she would narrow her eyes just the slightest of bits. "My conscious self will allow the Jun in." She stated quite bluntly, "It is me, after all." Well, it was kind of her. Somewhat. It was the her that she didn't make known. The her that was accepting, unlike the woman that stood here now. Swallowing just the slightest of bits, the motion of her throat would be the only thing moving about her now. Change? As a person? Why did that not bother her? She would still have everything that she had before. The people within her life, her family and friends, and she would still be cursed even though the situation at hand: This she knew for a very distinct fact.

This isn't just your mindscape, you know.

But it was hers and hers alone, and this was something that she wanted. Something that she saw no fear in herself in. In all actuality, she expected Keita to be more hurt than herself. This was just the nature of the beast; the harsh reality of the inner workings of Kono Haruka.

"I accept, and I wish to Dive to depths hardly known."

And that was that.

"Fine, fine, if you wish to try it, lay on that bed," the Shaman returned to the woman as assertive as she had acted. "I hope you trust your judgement well enough," he'd add on grumbling, "fine, lay on that bed and relax to the best of your abilities. I will sing the hymn which will open your subconscious mind allowing for the Dive. General understanding of Dives is that the diver will not mention what occurs in your subconscious with anyone, not even you."

He'd wait a bit for Kono Haruka to comply, but now paid her no mind. He seemed more than confident for his years. It wasn't the rashness of youth about this man, but rather assurance of experience that led to this seeming arrogance.

"Now you, Jun, this is your first time, too. You will be interacting with, as you called her, Kono Haruka in the most intimate way. She won't consciously know what you've done to her in her head, so this is meant to be for those she trusts, like she claims she does you. Seek what the issue in the first level of her mindscape is and set yourself to remedy it, much like the medic you are."

Keita was silent, but nodded his understanding. He couldn't tell Gun that his purpose was to communicate with this demon within Haruka. If it was, as Keita feared himself, a part of her, it would be something that would exist on more than her first level -- even if that was all he was to see of her. Should he seek to correct what was on this first level of her mindscape, if he wasn't purged immediately by her subconscious? Perhaps...Keita would wait and see how bad him limitations were within her mind first. The actions would henge on that.

"Are you prepared, the two of you? Jun, sit in that chair," he pointed with his boney hand to the chair facing him. It was empty and, as far as Keita could tell, resembled the one he sat upon.

"Very well," Keita complied without any difficulties, "I'm ready."

The Mind Diving Shaman waited for Haruka's compliance before he would begin.

His hymn didn't have any kind of real musical value to it, but it was a hymn nevertheless. Gun didn't wait to see if Haruka had fell for the effect or not, but Keita was still conscious for the moment. "See what you can do about her damned attitude on the first level." There was one more line to the hymn, the line to transfer Keita into the mindscape.

"Remember, don't be stupid in there. What is your family name, Jun?"

It was a subject he didn't want to talk about and one that many didn't know, if any in Iwagakure, without searching files upon files. "Danda."

So thus, it was time. A rushed point in time, clearly, but why would Haruka truly be pursuaded to care? Or assed, even? It was going to happen, and she was going to have it one way or another. She was plagued, such was the truth. No one could deny her of such, and no one wanted to stop it. So, perhaps someone would understand: After all, that was what she wanted out of this situation. Someone to know what she went through each and every waking moment, and how she had to fight for the rights to her own body. It was a toll. So, as her body lay there on the area that she had been directed to do so, she would wait. An odd patience fell over her and she closed her eyes, listening to the man in her eerie silence. Her breathing would even out and she interpreted the words spoken there. Interaction in an intimate fashion? This seemed more and more like date rape in every sense of that word, but she would not dare say that out loud. After all, everyone here was taking this very, very seriously. So she naturally had to be included amongst those rankings of seriousness. Though, she could hear Haru chattering away and the odd sounds of her collective insanity. 'Ooooh~ He's going to be inside Daimyo-chan. How exciting! Your very first, and probably your last. I mean, really. I'm going to mess this kid up. Do you hear me? Stop ignoring me! Say something! Oh fine, be that way. I don't want you to talk anyways.' Senseless chatter, all the time, and half of the time, it was unintelligible. 'Oh, it sounds like Bones is saying something.' It was strange how Haru transcended from scared child, to confident matriarch of the mind. Actually, it was an incredible matrix to behold, seriously. Though Haruka was trying to keep her mind off of it, she could feel the amusement attempting to creep up along her mind, but she stiffled it, or rather the man stifled it completely as Haruka became unimaginably still, prone to whatever mental probing Keita was going to preform upon her.

This whole new world was certainly a world. Or rather, someone's little world built upon a secluded island. Though, it was strange. The area had an almost Western feeling, rather than there being any kind of Japanese connection to it. . . It felt more like it was settled somewhere in the Bible Belt. How odd, right? All senses were present: Sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing. Some days, Haruka remembered that the blaring colors within her mindscape. . . something she often saw within her dreams. . . It was bright, cheerful, and certainly not the downtrodden place that one would come to expect if they really, really knew the young woman to her fullest extents. It was down right cheery. Though, even the most haughty of rulers had to go on to hide anything that could make them vulnerable to those who could be considered rather bad karma to them. When one would look around, they'd find no one running around, but they would feast their eyes upon a house that looked to have a feeling of an old time home, circa the Colonial ages of America. A home that was strong looking, sturdy enough for whatever abuse it had to endure. The basic home was a yellowish tan with white fixtures and trimmings. A long stair case leading up to a porch that circled around the entire home, in all of it's expanse. The home itself was well maintained. The grass had an odd yellowish, dead look to it though. This much signified the bitten cold of winter. Enough to make a man wish he had brought along his jacket. Around the home, there were various barren trees, dormant for the winter. No wildlife snuck around in the area, not even insects. Actually, the place almost seemed void of anyone that probably should have been there. Disappointing, right? Right. One could safely assume that the activity went on within the home, or the strange structure that loomed in the distance.

The strangest thing about the setting was past the house. A gray, towering structure that resembled a penitentiary or a mental hospital. Which ever one tickled the reader's fancy, of course. It was very obviously built to keep something contained, something stuck within the walls. However, such a place needed to be a separate story, right? Everyone needed a place to lock away any memories that could be considered wrong, broken, or any sense of the phrase 'fucked up'. Haruka had a lot of things about her that could've been considered fucked up. After all, these traits gained from one person or another. . . They were learned and they could be taken care of: All of these clearly things that needed to be locked away in the dark. If his attention were to have been focused on that. . . Well, let's just say there was a little form of persuasion that would be plopped right down in front of him. Wuh. . . Wait a minute. . . It was there. Or at least, it's head was there. Right in Keita's vision, it was a creature that could very well be described as, well, bubble gum! Oh please, not really bubble gum here. It was pink, though. It gave a tilt of it's head, and it was soon to be realized that the little creature had actually been upside down, watching Keita with care with big, ocean blue orbs that almost seemed to be prying into whatever was going on in Keita's mind there and now. And with a sudden motion, with no warning or go ahead, the little creature would nuzzle noses with the male. So weird, right? Ksh ksh ksh~. The fuzzy little nose would squish against Keita's now, and a delighted sound would be echoed throughout the area. Actually, it would've been the first thing that he would've heard here in this little slice of. . . uh. . . Haruka's brain mindscape thing. Nice, right? Right!

ofvRX0E.png

Cuteeee.

The next sound was actually rather shrill, almost unholy. It was the sound of a young woman screeching. And then laughter, and then. . . A crash out of the front door with two girls tumbling down the stairs, fists full of one another's hair. As the two careened into the ground below, what could only be described as one of Haruka's inner-selves seemed to be the victor and the one atop of the wriggling demonness below. "I've got you now!" She would announce, boisterously. Her glove clad arms now lifted above her head and she would keep her eyes locked on the demon below- - - at least for a moment before her vision would then catch sight of Keita, "Duh-ey- - - e. . .?" Obviously die, but that didn't work out very well as she distractedly stabbed the sword down right in between Ha- Wait, she vanished. Fuck.

dASBImW.png

"Oh come on, are you kidding me?" She'd gasp out in exasperation, leaning her upper body against the sword now protruding from the ground. Her muscles would quake a bit, and she would continue dragging in breaths here and there. It seemed as though the girl was winded, but she still brought her gaze up and jabbed her finger out towards Keita. "You ruined everything! You messed up all of my concentration, and look! Now Nee-san is gone to break more stuff in the house and mess everything up again!" Her cheeks glowed a flustered red as she tightened her fists, eyes nearly welling up with tears.

". . . And I just tidied up, too. . ." She'd squeeze one of her eyes shut as if to keep the tears at bay, but to no avail: Those big fat tears still fell down her cheeks. And her gloved hands reached up and her body no longer quaked with exhaustion, but rather sobs now.

OH KEITA. LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE NOW. Making girls cry. Shame on you!

It was finally time for this ordeal to begin. Haruka had fallen unconscious on the bed, it seemed. It was just a moment afterwards that Gun ended his lyrics for but a moment, saying something that Keita could not understand in his sluggish state. His eyes shut as though they were controlled by the will of another and everything went to silence...

Keita opened his eyes only to be blinded by some amazingly bright light. It was a sky he was unaccustomed to. A vivid blue sky like one might find in some show or story; none like he had known in the real wo--wait...Keita hadn't been rejected by Haruka's mind. This was her mindscape; the Jun was permitted access by her for the moment. That would explain this strange sky. Keita was laying on whatever this artificial world's ground was for whatever reason. Is this where Haruka's subconscious thought would be best for him to help her? He'd finally recover from the ground; even the soil seemed so vastly different. Rather than the hard, dry clayed earth of Stone country, the soil here seemed much darker and richer. It was a foreign thing that the Jun had not experienced. Everything about this world was so vastly different than what Keita had known. There was a slight chill in the world; the grass was tipped in hues of brown and yellow and those unfamiliar trees were stripped of any leaf that might have been there before.

More obviously close was some house which's floor seemed to extend beyond its walls. Whether that was lazy craftsmanship or just the fancy of Haruka, Keita might never know. Not that the appearance of the house had too much immediate importance. In the distance, almost as an illusion, towered some massive building. It was something akin to how large an industrial building or a major hospital might be; its purpose, Keita could only wonder now.

Naturally, the events of Haruka's mind couldn't be left to solely observing the scenery. Right before him, a massive pink mass resembling something of a cat, but different in so many ways, appeared. It was just a head, or rather, that's all that was immediately visible -- it was just too close to him! It stared at him curiously, Keita did likewise. Was this her mind guardian? What was it doing here? Keita was thrown into complete confusion with this; he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with this...thing. It came in closer before Keita could react: it booped its nose against his own. What the hell kind of creature does that?! Keita was paralyzed in confusion. It made some kind of happy -- or contented or whatever one could call it -- noise, only to be immediately be echoed by a person's shrill...and another's laughter? What in the Fives' names was going on?!

Keita was watching the house, but didn't make any effort to move towards there. The right flags hadn't gone off for him to just yet. From the top of the staircase of the building more immediately towards them, two girls, both appearing something like as Keita had seen Kono Haruka appear as before entering this place of her's, were fighting. Not like shinobi fighting with kunais and swords and crossbows, but rather a full-on fist fight. One had grabbed onto the other's hair and seemed to be pulling hard at it, and at some point one must've lost their balance, as they quickly came tumbling down the stairs, but even that didn't stop the fighting for a moment.

One exclaimed that she had the other, but was distracted for just a hair of a second apparently that was all the other needed to escape. Was it him? Did Keita distract Haruka from finishing off the...other Haruka? Freakin' flip. She noticed him. After realizing for herself that the one she was fighting had disappeared, she turned her aggression towards Keita.

"You were fighting because she was breaking stuff in the house? Isn't there an easier way?" Keita was more or less unphased by her tears; he had just seen enough weirdness in this world, but obviously he was going to need to get her to stop crying before this story could be progressed. If he could convince her to try again to stop this "nee-san" -- that other Haruka -- to stop breaking things, perhaps that would prove sufficient to meet with this demon within her or to continue on with this level.

"Haruka, what is happening in this world?"

A frustrated flush would come over the young woman's features as he mentioned that she was simply just breaking stuff in the house. That girl wrecked everything no matter where she went. She could've gone to whatever distant lands there were and she STILL would have fucked everything up. Though, she didn't expect an outsider to know. Besides, he probably escaped from the asylum or something like that. She'd have to put him right back now, wouldn't she? Pushing herself up to a stand, she'd stare him down through bleary eyes. Her tear stained face was the only thing that inhibited her serious nature. "I don't expect a fool like you to understand that she has her own place to stay, yet she ends up fucking my stuff up." She'd point a finger off in the direction in which 'inner-Haru' had disappeared off to. "Death is the easiest way." Her head would nod along with the statement now. This much she knew to be true. Why? Because she was born in it, raised with it. . . So what did this man know anyways? Oh, not even her name apparently. Tch. . . Such a scrubby little outsider he was, no? Crossing her arms over her chest, she'd narrow her eyes in his direction.

"Another intruder? I guess that you're here to help her. So, for this. . ." She'd stick her hand out to the side now, a long blade's hilt now materializing there in the palm of her hand, ". . . I'll have to kill you too." Her footsteps wouldn't be sudden as she began walking towards the man now. "Take out your weapon."

The little puffy pink creature would sit atop of Keita's head, "Nyaaa~?" It'd speak, now curling up to watch. It wasn't sure what to do, after all! This was a first for everyone!

Keita wasn't exactly the person one should come to when emotional support was needed. Sure, he could make someone feel something through song or speeches where he could act charismatic, but when it came to one-on-one communications with people where he was trying to console them, it was as good as a log -- unless a person liked logs, then not even that. He wasn't surprised to see that this version of Haruka was still upset by his weak words; he wasn't expecting them to work, just to convince her to actually act rather than staying distracted by him. Her mind had some kind of equilibrium where it was this Haruka versus the other; by bringing Keita into that equation, the odds were unbalanced and thus brought upon these changes. A shame, really.

Now, the angered Haruka was at least revealing some things that might prove helpful. This other Haruka had her own place yet chose to interfere in this one's, that almost sounded like the spirit...so then that was it?! Keita had to stop her, then; that was already a priority, but now it was of the highest level.

The Jun was about to make mention that they should go to see her, right then but the Haruka in front of him summoned some blade and seemed to be ready to use it. Take out his own weapon? He had none, he wasn't here to fight. He'd let her know as much. "I refuse to arm myself; I'm not helping her, I want to help you bring her back into her own place and make her stay there," Keita answered reactionarily.

Above him, that pink blob mewled in some kind of interest. How lucky of it, to just be the one observing -- that's what Keita was supposed to be doing for the most part, right? But now here he was close to dying if he took one wrong step.

He would glance at the blade she held before returning his attention back to her. "Are you planning to use that thing on me or do you want to limit the damage that's been done?" He wouldn't comment on the death part, too many flags were out as it was. Any more and this dive might end up a failure sooner rather than later.

Who. The. Hell. Was. This. Person?! The woman was completely over this. Why was he here in the first place? It was absolutely infuriating to the female as she stood there, strands of hair falling into her features. How dare he stand here before her. . . and defy her, in her own home. So, he just waltzes up in here and ruins the one chance that she finally has to get rid of the bitch. . . then he expects her to actually trust him?! Yeah, right. A hard huff of air would pass her pink painted lips. "I do not trust you. . . Not even in the slightest." And why did she have to trust him? It was probably more wise for her to not trust him. There were constant intruders that she had to go and take care of in here. . . They all ended up slammed into the prison and locked away for far longer than they would ever be remembered. Perhaps that would be the fate of this man? He was, after all, an intruder in a place that he almost certainly did not belong.

Her grip was a white knuckled one as she watched him with her dazzling emerald eyes now. Her jaw would lock in what could only be described as displeasure. Stalking closer to the man now, she'd stop only a mere foot in front of him. "If I let you stay, there will only be more damage dealt to this place!" She'd state, lifting the blade above her head now. One could hear the hilt straining under her grasp and her skin making that tightened sound as she shifted. "You're in absolutely no position to tell me no." She'd whisper, the blade shaking just lightly above her head.

However, she was bluffing. She couldn't take him on if he had no weapon. That much would grow clearer and clearer as she hesitated before him. . . until finally the weapon would just fade off into the air. Shit. ". . . Get out of here." She'd state, dropping her hands by her sides angrily. "I mean it! You don't belong here!"

Haruka was pissed in every sense of the emotion. She wanted him dead, but she wasn't striking him dead yet. She didn't trust him? That much was obvious. Her conscious mind was forcing her subconscious to let him in; he was purely a stranger to this girl who he agreed to help. She didn't have to trust him -- well she did in a sense, if she didn't trust him to an extent, Keita would not even be permitted entrance into her inner-most sanctum: her mind -- he was still here to help nevertheless. His eyes were drawn to the building before him while this Haruka continued her tantrum. If she wasn't going to fight, then she should just let him pass, shouldn't she? Whether she liked it or not, he had made a swear to do as he was attempting to do, even if the one he swore to was his obstacle. Rather contradictory, wasn't it? This Haruka was a complex person.

Keita turned his attention back to the fuming blonde as she stepped towards him. She was no more a threat than that pink blob was, he knew it. She brought her blade up. Keita didn't even take a moment to glance at it. "The longer you focus on me, the more damage this place will take," Keita would retort. He was ready to stop this pointless banter; they weren't lovers, they shouldn't be doing pointless arguments. She was showing obvious hesitations, she couldn't even hold the blade. So this was the mind of our country's leader? Not the sharp-witted woman who served alongside her citizens, but a girl, a true girl. Fair enough. She was furious, but she couldn't bring herself to act on her emotions. Why?

"Fine," he would state simply. It was strange, her mind: some part of her didn't want him within her, but she didn't outright reject him. He was needed here for something. Something. Whatever that was, he wasn't sure yet, but she wasn't getting rid of him just yet. He'd have to stay out of sight of this Haruka, somewhere she wouldn't know where he was, and he still had to find the other Haruka -- that spirit manifested to appear akin to the woman -- and see what was her deal. What was he supposed to with that spirit, anyways? He could try to get it to go to its own area where Haruka's conscious will didn't fight against it, allowing for the two to have some kind of symbiosis; destroying or attempting to destroy the spirit would be impossible, and if it even was, would probably cause Haruka's death or the ruining of her mind. Oh what a fun event this was turning out to be...

He'd walk past her. "If you're going to come, you should come on," he'd call back, not taking a moment to look at the likely distressed Haruka. He had to see this other Haruka. He had to see what he could do. He had to do what he could do.

Astounded. That was the only way that she could think to describe how exactly she was feeling in this exact moment as she watched the man decide he was. . . just. . . Going to parade around in her home in such a manner. Her jaw would lock and she'd squint her eyes in such a manner that described that she was attempting to force away any tears that would come. She couldn't help it. She tried. . . so damn hard to rid this place of any unwanted visitors, and yet here he was, just trouncing through this place like he owned it. Like he owned her. That much infuriated her. Bringing a hand up, she'd clutch at her own chest now, her nails digging in deeply against her flesh. Son of a bitch. This was her home, and she could do nothing, say nothing, and react nothing more than, well, less. If she could bring herself to it. . . She'd be stabbing daggers directly into his back. The problem here was that she just was not capable of such hatred, such malice. It wasn't how she was written. As he spoke at her, she'd drop her gaze down towards the ground now and let out a small breath, attempting to stabilize herself in such a situation. It wasn't working. However, she was. . . Frozen. Frozen to her spot now as she looked up to where the man had wandered off to, and her eyes widened in shock. It was there. She was there. Her hand would reach forward, but she'd find herself even further in the realm of stuck. Even her voice had been frozen inside of her throat now, though she was not encased in any ice.

"You know, the wandering dead don't get very many visitors. Especially in a place like this." Now, the girl would smile as she looked up towards Keita. The 'Demon' seemed a teenager no less than the Inner-Haruka's age. "I think I like that! What's your name?" She'd ask the male now, swinging her arms back and forth in quite the aloof manner now. "My name is Sachiriku. I'm stuck in this place with. . . her. It's funny that she'd try to kill someone she's been around for like, forever, right? It's like she doesn't understand that we're like. . . Two halves to the whole idiot." Now, with some crazy hand type waving motions. . . "I'm like the dark, and she has to be the light. We're Yin and Yang." Laughter now. "Do you want to see the house~? Or do you want to see the Asylum? That place is my favorite. That's where all the bad stuff goes because she juuuust can't seem to kill stuff. Funny girl, right? She should just leave it to me, after all. I am the best worst part of her."

Oh brother.

It was a shame that Haruka wasn't going to be coming with him, but what other reason could there to be other than it simply wasn't the scene for her? That entire bit showed quite a bit about this Kono Haruka: that she forces herself to put on a face to intimidate others, but beyond that, her will faltered. Was this the woman who was supposed to lead the country of Earth? Weak, almost. She was a girl. Keita refused to look behind himself, whatever pit of despair that the Daimyo had fallen into, the Jun refused to see. There were some things that a stranger just shouldn't of another. That would be one of them.

The house had a strange design, as Keita had noted to himself before, but seeing it closer only exemplified the wonder the queer design caused. The building stood, guarded by some patio, it and the walls hidden in its shade some dirty yellow colour, bright enough to seem cheery in this likewise environment -- so strange that was when juxtaposed to she who ruled the realm, both here and outside's.

Each step Keita took followed with the crisp crunch of the dead grass. The blades rubbed against his foot and sandal, making a light, almost inaudible sound, and giving the sense of feeling each blade through the rubber sole. Concentration on that is likely what brought him to not focus on the image of Haruka behind him. What was she doing? He could not look. Keita refused to look.

Meeting him almost immediately at reaching the steps the two girls had just fought upon was the second girl, the one that Haruka had just had some strange mental breakdown over. She breaks things and messes everything up. She was an intruder, and, apparently Haruka had attempted to kill her, or some other intruder before. With all of that in mind, Keita had prepared for the absolute worst this girl -- a childish appearing girl, close to the same, if not the same age as Haruka was, short violet hair curled just above her shoulders -- but she was just some girl. Between the shock of an incorrect anticipation and what she had actually said, Keita was completely taken aback.

"The dead rarely wander," was all the Jun, left with far too many questions, could muster upon first comment, "even in a place like this, I would hope." Better to end it like that, Keita, much better.

"Keita. I came here to talk with you, I believe," he'd add on the second part. What Haruka had said before pointed towards it, was it possible that she, this kiddish Sachiriku, was actually the one plaguing her so greatly from within her mind? Was it because of her apparent destructive nature or because Haruka, despite having dealt with her for so long, continued to reject her? Only Keita was aware of what had occurred on the outside directly, so he couldn't just ask this one such questions. Only odd looks and odder comments could be given. It would be like one of the NC writers talking to another's character, but not through the medium of a character. Strange, right?

Keita remained focused on the girl's erradic movements: first swinging her arms excitedly, then to her hands. Perhaps her destructive nature stemmed from how energetic she seemed. It was but a passing thought as he attentively listened to what this girl had to say. Unlike Haruka, this "nee-san" was much more willing to divulge information and seemed overall more friendly. Just how hostile would the Daimyo be on the outside if not for Sachiriku? Well...an observation like that was far too early in the making. This girl just got her first cameo here, a judgement call like that couldn't be made for a while.

Even Sachiriku seemed to suggest herself to be Kono Haruka's demon. She was the dark to Haruka's light? This Dive almost seemed to suggest it the other way -- now that was a truly terrifying thought, that Sachiriku was actually the host and Haruka the demon. No way that was possible, right? -- given the personalities attributed to him. Gun had mentioned something about that hadn't he? Keita could hardly remember it, something like the personalities on each level of the mindscape weren't necessarily the entire personality, but an aspect of it. Keita felt like it was something like that. Maybe a bit different, but close.

"I'd be willing to, if you're the one showing me around. Perhaps the Asylum," Keita would offer. He told the Haruka of this level he could get this demon out of the house, so this would kill quite a few birds with a single stone. The house would be emptied, more ground would be covered, and Keita could continue to learn and do as he needed to do with Sachiriku.

"After you, I suppose?"
