[Run Time - 1 Hour]
It was astonishing. Truly astonishing!
Even his own parents were normalizing and accepting the sennin’s actions in Tea as not only sane, but completely called for! Calling their own son, a liar! Of course, he had omitted a couple things, but he hadn’t lied! And those omissions did not make bullying children okay.
The boy stared at the gate. He wasn’t sure what he was waiting for. A sign maybe? Some divine intervention? Maybe God Himself would part the skies and give him a message of what he should do.
And then exactly just that happened as a broadcast came onto headset [happening the same time as A Change of Will]. Junpei stood frozen. Listening intently to the announcer’s words. It wasn’t just the Leaf ninja who showed up in Tea, it was the whole leadership of the village. The boy shivered as he heard the words “slain children”.
For the most part, it seemed that so far life mostly just happened to Junpei; he was a victim (or benefactor) of circumstance.
Junpei was tired of that.
Clay mice, with bright-blue sequined eyes, began to flow quickly from the boy’s palms; they couldn’t be made fast enough. Junpei began to walk quickly, practically charging through the gate as several explosions began to set off.
Junpei was about to happen to Life.
