Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kana had been milling about the city when a call came in over her headset. Due to the fact that she was a Genin it was a report to stay out of Commercial District. Residents and low ranking Shinobi were to be evacuated from the area. There had been something amiss at the gates and curiosity began to get the better of her. Having a much better grasp now of her own abilities she wanted to see what real combat looked like. There wasn't much challenge for Kana anymore in practicing with her classmates as she's outdone their capabilities long ago. She wanted to get a glimpse of what the next level was. Her first step would be to head home and change. Wrapping herself in brown robes and a cloak to hide her facial features, Kana would then make her way to the potential scene of things to unfold.

There was still a fear within her though. A fear of being wrapped up in the battle. Would she get too close? No, she could keep a distance. Focusing on her new found strengths she would tap into the incredible distance that she was now capable of viewing. Slinking up onto the roof-tops, Kana would easily sneak past and make her way beyond any guards or patrols the village had began to setup around the area. Spotting the masked man first, she would attempt to follow him with her vision. It took him some time but he eventually found someone bold enough to approach. She couldn't quite make out the figure, but she knew he was fighting for her village today.

A prayer would go out to her fellow Shinobi.

"Please, grant us the strength today to fight off this invader. Let the fury of the sands be with us today."

Then she would go silent, eyes peeled to the battle that was about to unfold before her very eyes.

The fight was starting and Kana would look on with fear and pride. Both in regards to the one standing and fighting for her village. It seemed almost as if the two were testing one another. Playing games like the kids. Hide and seek, mostly checking to see what the other's capabilities are and how best to counter them. The fear truly began to take hold as the fight continued before her, it seemed almost as if the masked man was toying with the Suna Shinobi. Biting her lip she would keep whispering prayers to herself, though eventually caught herself and stopped. This could be her one day, she snapped into paying full attention once again. Wanting to see everything both these men could do, after all, she may need to be in a fight like this one day. Hopefully not too soon.

The fight would continue on, and Kana would keep her eyes peeled for every movement, every sound, and every strike. The man fighting for her village began to make it rain blood, which Kana thought was particularly cool but unsure of what effect it was going to have moving forward. Curiosity struck and she would keep her eyes peeled moving forward.

Kana watched the battle unfold with definitive precision. She could see what others could not due to the wonderful prowess of her eyes. The invader was using trickery. A great tactic in battle, and causing her own Village's shinobi to falter in his steps at times. Though as she continued to keep her eyes peeled she would see the moments where her ally would take advantage. At this point it almost seemed as if he stood a chance. As if he was winning. The enemy shinobi appeared to be injured, and while still attempting to maintain the upper hand it seemed as if it was slowly slipping away piece by piece and second by second.
The blood from the battlefield began to spread, and soon the entire market square was covered in the thick and viscous liquid. She would use the blood as another means of covering her presence. After all, a Genin should be nowhere near a fight like this and if she was found she would be immediately escorted away. She could not allow that to happen, and kept low to the rooftops in which she hung. Watching and learning. Seeing the styles and tactics used. Attempting to find the best way to incorporate such tactics to herself. After all, she could change. She could become better than anyone else, so long as she had the vision to choose the right path. What would be the most optimal path in battle? What would allow her to be a victor and stand at the top of the bloody heap? What path would allow her to best defend and build the world she wished to live in.
This was it, this was the battle of two top tier shinobi she had been waiting to witness. A true scale as to the power a single individual can hold and what she might look to surpass one day soon.
