Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[legend="Don't Be Afraid of the Dark"]There was a story being spread about the abandoned mineshafts, about some creature in the dark. At the moment it was just a bunch of stories, but Chi wasn't convinced. The creature seemed to be causing trouble to anyone getting lost within the mines. No one had been killed by the creature that they knew of, but most stories said it was a four-legged creature that seemed to be on fire. It would jump on them and usually burn their face. The thought of a creature made of fire intrigued Chi, and she made it her mission to find this creature and either capture it or… get rid of it.
She sneaked her way into the abandoned mine and made her way deep into the shadows. She channeled fire through her hands to make light, but it didn't help. The cave was pitch dark, there were no lights to be seen anywhere except for her hands. It was almost as if it were so dark that the shadows were engulfing any light emanating from the flames. Then she saw something through the darkness, another light in the distance. She put out her own light so as to not be seen and moved carefully down the passageway and around a corner where the light was coming from. It was the creature for sure, and it was sleeping.
It was in the shape of some kind of animal, like a wolf or a fox. As she got closer it woke up and quickly got up and began running. Chi's hands flamed up to light her path as she followed the flaming creature through the tunnels. It turned a corner and seemed to disappear. She heard a noise from behind her and a flash of light ran by, so she followed it. She wasn't sure if it was the same creature but if it wasn't she had already lost the first one anyway. The same thing happened with this one, and the next one. It seemed to her like there were numerous creatures in this cave, all of them fire creatures. She noticed after the second or third one that they're all different animals.
"What the potato is going on?" the girl yelled, her cries echoing through the narrow passage ways. Then all of sudden she saw the faint light of a fire behind her, but she turned around too late and was knocked over by one of the creatures. He was covered in fire but it didn't burn Chi, then it did something Chi didn't expect. It started licking her. Tongue out, slobbery, hot licking. Confused, she pushed the creature off of her and got up. This creature wasn't trying to hurt people, it wanted to play. However, the creature quickly turned tail and ran off. Chi followed suit, all the way to the back of a dead end. The creature began digging at the ground. Chi gently pushed the creature out of the way and used her hand to light the area where it was digging, in the hole looked like some kind of book. She pulled it out with her nonflaming hand and opened it. It was written in Bohemian, the whole book. It talked about elementals which used to reside in earth country, driven underground due to developments popping up throughout the country.
"What is this?" She said, looking over at the large flaming creature. "Did you want me to have this?" It would give a nod like it understood what she was saying. "So strange… But look, you can't be playing with people in the caves. I get what you're doing, but they think you're attacking them." She would pet the creature, feeling some kind of connection to this flaming beast. She didn't know what was happening, but she had a feeling that these beasts were trying to get her attention. Knowing she'd be drawn to stories of flaming beasts in the mineshaft. They wanted her to have this book… But what for?[/legend][legend="OOC; 665"][/legend]
