Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sun was setting over the desert when a hawk became visible from the horizon, flying in from the northeast. There weren't a lot of places to land or rest in Wind Country, so it had been flying continuously for some time, even on top of its long flight time from Moon. It wheeled above the entrance to the grand city below, uncertain where to touch down and not yet sensing its target. It had nearly settled for landing on one of the standards before its target seemed to appear on its senses, coming in from the south. The hawk ontinued to wheel, not being one of the rare breed capable of hovering, until its target entered range, and then dropped down sharply.

Makoto only pulled up on his return trip back into the village from his usual haunt when he saw the bird drop out of the sky.

His first reflex was to wonder if it was from the Bird Clan, but then he spotted the stylized blue band on its left leg. Almost automatically, he held his arm out and the hawk landed on it, perching with an obvious sense of relief. He untied the message with his other hand and the bird hopped to his shoulder; he'd expected that. Much easier to carry it in.

Blue means 'not so urgent, but do respond,' he thought--largely for the phoenix's benefit. What's odd is that this communique is from my family. And--yes, here it is, labeled specifically for me. That can't be good, but it's a blue and not a red, so at least it's not too important.

Still, caution was the better part of...most things, so he resolved to take the message into his hotel room before reading it. Hopefully, it wouldn't be anything bad or something that would add complications. He was aware things were already taking...time. It wasn't a good sign.

He tucked the message into his longcoat's inner pocket and headed into the city, towards his hotel.
