Neko decided to take the opportunity to head to the HQ and help set up shop. She was told that she could once she had felt better, and now she figured the time was appropriate. She was feeling back up to par and actually feeling pretty decent all things considered, even wearing a smile under her mask. As she approached headquarters she made sure to keep a low profile, she wasn't trying to make a scene or stand out just simply blend in and get some work done.
She knew the location was in rough shape, but it really hit her when she got close. Shaking her head as she approached in disbelief, how had something like this fallen so far. It didn't actually matter how, in fact it was more important now to fix the problems this place had than complain it had them. So that's what she would do, she'd start cleaning and organizing what she could without direction. She was a little more meticulous than some and it was definitely noticable as she went about her cleaning, taking her time with each step and making sure that it was in tip top shape before moving forward to the next. It was almost a cathartic release to be doing something as mundane as chores here.
After a little while of this, she'd make her way outside, popping her fingers to loosen them up after spending so long with her hands wrapped around a broom. She rubbed her hands and watched folks as they were walking some ways away from the headquarters. She began to count the people, just to pass a little time while rubbing the aches out of her hands.
