Misson Prompt as delivered to Chuunin Santaru Miyuki: As part of the Academy's ongoing Career Day initiative, Senju Gaki has been assigned to shadow you to give them an understanding of the field of interest they have expressed an desire in joining, your task is to guide them and make them familiar with the duties and obligations of the unit. Please take caution in doing so as ANBU units have classified a person of interest in several murders working in and around Konohagakure. It is possible you may have to take action and should you encounter any problems, remember your duty is to the village and the student placed under your care.

Career Day was in full swing and everyone was off to to their respective assignment and locations. Some more eagerly than others, various senior Academy teachers escorted genin and students alike to their prospective senior shinobi who would have already read the prompt delivered to them and had been hand-delivered the file of the person to be shadowing them. The task was simple yet even on a crowded day like this, things were bound to go wrong.

The unit office housed within the ANBU headquarters was a simple sight, most wouldn't even have the chance of looking upon it but in reality, it housed the various members of the misson group tasked with figuring just who exactly was the prime suspect behind the murders flooding the news.

"Lady Fifth must be losing her marbles, really, him?"

"As if that wasn't enough, now we have to babysit." Another grumbled shaking his head at the sheer fact. No one liked a new face, you didn't know their intentions, what they wree cpable of and unless that was figured out, all of them would recieve the same dismissive treatment. There were no favorites in joining one of the village's specialized units and the younger ones would do well to remember that.

Heads turned at the sound of footsteps coming, a senior shinobi leading the prospective academy student or genin. "Come on then." He would snap at the kid gruffly as if the man had more important things to do than escorting these rookies when they could have found their ways themselves as he knocked politely on the door to the office that housed the unit members and the supervising officer before entering.

"Miyuki-san, here is the candidate that the Academy sent and one other thing, our intelligence unit suggest the person of interest in these high-profile murders could soon very well be a threat to the village and we have been given authorization to dispose of the target as quietly as possible which is why the ANBU have been called in." With that, the assistant gave a nod and a curt look towards the prospective candidate before slipping out.

OOC Mission Outline for Reference: The candidate is brought to ANBU Headquarters blindfolded where the Assassination Squad is working on an assignment regarding a paid killer responsible for the murder of several high-profile local goverment officials in the area getting closer to Konoha with every murder. Having been deemed a threat and given a file with his information, the senior shinobi and candidate set out to track him arranging to apprehend him in a casino in Crater City acting under disguises. Their cover is blown and the two must act fast to extermine the threat in a crowded casino by any means necessary or risk there being massive loss of life.

 

[Senju Gaki]

The black cloth around Gakis head did little to hide his disgruntled expression when he was being led into the room. Ever since he had been "picked up" from school by the man that was now standing behind him he had received nothing but harsh commands and short comments in the bext of cases. After having been taken a certain distance away he had received his blindfold and since then hadnt seen a single thing. What a ridiculous thing to do for career day... its not like i havent already seen everything in Konoha there is. Whats this going to be now, huh? Ramen stand? Flower shop? The backside of Hokage Mountain? He snorted quietly and tried getting a feel for the ground they were standing on.
The only thing obvious was a distinct lack of loud sounds around them, a sign that they were probably not in one of the main districts anymore. Aside from that however, Gaki could not make out anything helpful. "Really, murders? If this is going to be a case of 'look, weve playpretend abducted the young one' please stop. My class had to do that two years ago already..."
The young senjus head swiveled from left to right, trying to make out a direction in which to aim his aggression. He had been promised a look into the inner workings of any Shinobi Unit within Konoha and this sure was not it.
"If this is about the whole Anbu thing, i a-po-lo-gize." Not. "I was told to put in whatever i felt like, so i did just that. Doesnt mean ill believe it just cause you had someone put this sad excuse for a blindfold over my head! Im not 6 anymore, you know?"
Again he moved his head, trying to make it seem like he could actually see through the cloth. "So, Miyuki-'san', i think we could both profit from this if we get this done fast enough, dont you think? I just need a good grade from you, you get me to clean up some... i dont know... the library or whatnot, and were both settled."
With his arms crossed in front of his chest Gaki waited for an answer.

Standing before Senju Gaki was Santaru Miyuki, a very attractive-looking woman with short darkened blue hair and even brighter blue eyes seemingly able to capture the attention of all that surround her. The woman can be seen donning her uniform which consists of the Levin Corp's standard issue garb which consists of brown uniform trousers and a black flak jacket emblazoned with the logo of the Levin Corps, a purple lightning bolt split running vertically. Miyuki carries a blue and white bow slung across her back with a quiver full of thirty chakra arrows all glowing blue and a faint humming of chakra can be heard coming from them if anyone gets close.

In her hands was a clipboard that was filled with different reports that the quiet woman was reading over. She didn't address the child as he was rambling on as she was too busy taking in all of the information that was provided to them. Handing the clipboard back to the shinobi who brought Gaki in she placed her left hand to her face and conjured a mask that resembled the legendary Thunderbird but in purplish hues.

Stepping up to the young Senju she would reach out and snatch the blindfold from his eyes without saying a word. Her piercing eyes could be seen through the mask as her left hand quickly approached that of the Senju's face. Solidifying her chakra she would summon a mask that would resemble a boar bearing it's tusks. "Stop talking. Are you ready to risk your life for the betterment of the village? No names. No idle conversation. One mistake out here and you will die." She would stand back up, with perfect posture before heading to the door. She did not wait for an answer, and she did not care what the answer would be. She had a mission and it was up to Gaki if he was going to join her or not. The needed to make haste. She touched the side of her mask which connecter to her headset. "Get the horses ready. I will need two fully mounted and prepared to leave Konohagakure to travel to Crater City post haste." She hesitate slightly at the door before continuing on down the hallway.

She wasn't much for words. She let her actions speak for her and she did not believe that in her line of work conversation was necessary. Being the Captain of the Levin Corp and a member of the Assassination Squad meant her actions were heard loud and clear.

It would only be a matter of time before Senju Gaki would here those actions just as clearly.

 

[Senju Gaki]

Suddenly freed from the darkness Gaki blinked a few times in surprise. What he had expected was a bunch of older Shinobi, maybe standing in a semi-circle around him, pointing and laughing at this rough entry. What he got instead was a dark and seemingly small room that seemed entirely filled out by the presence of the woman in front of him. Everything around her was glowing in a near azure light and under the chilling gaze of her icy eyes Gaki felt a shiver run down his spine. Her face however was hidden beneath a mask that had been fashioned to resemble a great bird, making her aura look even more threatening.
"I... this... what?" Gaki flinched when she reached out, ignoring his feeble attempts at a witty remark and instead moving her hands quickly over his face. A sudden cloud of summoning smoke obscured his sight for a second before he felt something appear in front of his face. "What?" The woman, Miyuki-san, interrupted him, and something about her voice made Gaki step back half a step. This cant really be the main branch? Is this some punishment i have not been told about? The young boy stared at his supposed mentor for a moment briefer than a second before a sudden realization crept up on him. They... did not actually put me into the Anbu squad for mentoring... Did they? They couldnt have, ive been told only the best Students get that chance?! Maybe my brothers but me?.... His tongue wiped his lips that had suddenly dried up and lost their color. In that moment he was happy that he had been given the mask and carefully he raised his hands to inspect the object."Give.. give my life? I, uh, thought this was just mentoring? I am not really going to loose my life, right?" Noticing his begging tone he tried straightening up.
"I mean, uh yes! Of... of course! Every shinobi is ready, right?" Right? He attempted his best guess at a salute.
Meanwhile he felt a dazing stupor rise in his mind as the senior kunoichi turned around, apparently speaking to a third party through a headset. Did i hear Crater City? Ive been told there was some sort of conflict there? He gulped down and followed her quickly, a mixture of excitement and dread coiling in his stomach. This felt differently than the classes in the academy and even the fights with the other genins and students.
"I, uh... Sen...sei? Should i, like, maybe prepare something? And i, er... have never actually ridden a horse?"
