To be completely honest, Asuka did not know if this was going to work, she had the suspicion that modifying this technique could be problematic but she had to do it anyway. Asuka stood her ground in the middle of the statues. At one point she wondered if they were really great shinobi of old, or if that was just a story to add flavor to the region. In any case, it was a good place to train, she couldn't be interrupted and since there was no one around her she didn't have the risk on hurting someone. This technique was dangerous. She looked up, black clouds filled with hunger were ranging above her.

She called forth the lightning, a streak shot up to the sky and Asuka slowly looked up, making out what seemed to be the body of a dragon. Allright, so far this was working. Her Sharingan activated as the hardest part came, trying to tame the lightning. With that she gestured it to fly towards the water, hopefully hitting it. After a loud crack... it didn't. Instead the beast decided to hit just a few meters away from her dending her flying backwards. Asuka thankfully hit the water and not the ground so there wasn't that much damage taken... unfortunately it was clear she still did not have the strength to pull off this technique. She sighed and started to walk away, maybe after finishing her mission she would have enough.
