A few days after being allowed into the village of Konoha, the half-breed from Tomoe Country decided to take a little trip to an area just off the Fire Country coast. This area that she visited was significantly more well-off than her own village back home, but it had a reputation for being known as the "City of Thieves". It gave off the general vibe that something was astray and the citizens in it were on-edge at all times for likely a multitude of reasons; it did not help Tomomi that she bared two horns on the top of her head which was apparently not normal elsewhere in the world throughout her travels. However, it was not completely off considering the individual that stopped her at the gates to Leaf seemed to resemble a dog-like creature in numerous ways from their ears to their tail to their mannerisms.
Regardless, she would go through the streets of Crater City simply taking in the sights and sounds of the location to the best of her ability while keeping herself on guard since she was in a foreign country and her welcoming at the gates of Konoha was less than ideal or expected. Things unfortunately would not go much better here as she would be stared at by numerous people that walked by her and some would make comments that were quite colorful to put it mildly. But, this journey into this city would prove some benefit to her as she would encounter an individual that resembled the stereotypical oni with their red skin, pointy fangs and horns, and bore a club over their shoulder.
Unfortunately, the language that was being spoken by the oni was not one that Tomomi recognized, but the constant banging on the merchant's table and the demeanor of the merchant easily showed that he was getting irritated with this demonic being in front of him. Initially, the Murakami woman would stand a little distant away from it and allowed the situation to unfold in front of her which included the oni getting more violent with its thrashing and the merchant being to add some beautiful art into his sentences which were not making the situation any easier for himself. This would go on for ten or so minutes until the merchant got sick of it all and shoved the oni away from his table which simply enraged the creature and caused everyone to scramble away from the area to avoid becoming a casualty.
It was only when everyone left the area that Tomomi walked behind the red-skinned creature and stabbed the creature with her blessed sword causing it to scream out in pain and swing its club wildly to try to get her away from it. Unfortunately for the creature, this thrashing would only cause the sword to go deeper and deeper into its body causing its blood to spill as the wound got bigger and bigger. As she had done before, Tomomi would not take long before allowing some tendrils to come from her mouth which pierced the creature's heart and yanked its life source from its body; this heart like the previous one would go straight into her body through her mouth and be situated in her chest cavity beside another heart that had been taken from a previous oni. Her "gift" from her surgery would then simply connect this new heart to the others and allow it to radiate blood-flow through the body.
While it was being connected properly, she would set the oni corpse on fire with a simple fire jutsu from her fingertips before walking away to allow the corpse to become ash and for the citizens and visitors of this unique city to grasp what had happened in the span of only a few minutes.
