Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sun was just beginning to set with a few hours left in the day. The sky was clear and the weather was fair. A rush of students burst from the academy. Some to go training, others run along home. A few run and play while others went to do their assigned missions.
One of these such students happened to be Hayato. It was an easy and simple life to be a ninja student and to be able to earn a little extra yen on the side. Though some of the work may be tedious, it did well to teach young shinobi better life skills.
Today it seemed the Hayato wod be tasked in helping with the clean up of "The Temple of the Five". Him and 4 other students were to pick up garbage, sweep, mop and dust the entire temple.
Hayato was the first to arrive so he got first choice of which room he wanted to clean. Which elemental room would he choose to clean?

He walked out of the embassy and looked around, getting his bearings, and started walking toward the temple of the five. Upon arriving, he headed toward the supplies closet and grabbed a broom and a cleaning rag, and went to the center, turning to look at each area devoted to an element, deciding where to start. He considered for a moment before a slight smile danced around his mouth and looked at the area in which he stood - the center, the meeting point of all the elements, the most sacred place within the temple - the Void.

Surveying the area, he noted that it was large and almost entirely empty and devoid of decoration. He decided to wait for a while, to see if any of the others would show, Hayato didn't relish the notion of cleaning the entire temple by himself. He didn't wait long, if the others didn't show he would just have that much less time in which to finish. Surveying the area, he noted that it was large and almost entirely empty and devoid of decoration. Hayato began to sweep, moving in a spiral pattern closing in on the center. He was planning to sweep, mop, and towel dry the entire area. He debated which element he would move to after he finished with the Void, deciding on Wind, and, depending on how soon any helpers arrived, he would then move on to Fire, to Water, to Earth, and finally to Lightning. He decided to wait for a while, to see if any of the others would show, Hayato didn't relish the notion of cleaning the entire temple by himself. He didn't wait long, if the others didn't show he would just have that much less time in which to finish.

Still sweeping, he began to look around to see if any of the priests were in attendance. He figured that they might have some input as to what he should do.

The cleaning was easy enough for the young boy, it also served to provide decent training for any student who needed to work on discipline. Solitude, and working through the silent night made it a test of ones will and determination. It seemed though the child Hayato was ready for it. As he dusted, swept and finally mopped the room...it seemed some older kids came waltzing through the temple. Non Ninja kids by the looks of it. There was 3 of them walking together, the looked to be about 15-16 years of age. Tracking mud a dirt everywhere they walked. One even went so far as to empty some trash from his pocket onto the floor. It seemed that these older kids were undoing the work Hayato had done. What would he do?

Hayato turned as he heard the new arrivals, some older boys had entered the temple. He watched them as they walked into the temple, hoping that they were the other students sent to clean, but immediately discounted the idea, his eyes growing colder and colder as the new boys not only tracked mud and dirt through the temple, but also tossed trash on the floor. 'Those assholes! Somebody needs to show them to the door!' He started popping his knuckles and had taken a step in their direction before sanity reasserted itself. He turned away from them before they could see the anger on his face, continuing to mop the same spot without noticing. His mind playing through a number of nasty scenarios where he beat them bloody through strength of body and power of jutsu. The older boys looked like civilians rather than he fellow ninja, so he was absolutely confident that he could beat them with only a mild effort, 'Civilians...' he thought with contempt, 'it would be so easy...' He would get into trouble though, and he wanted to get paid for his work. He had to think of a plan that would deal with the problem quickly but without violence. He considered for a long moment, and a smile began to spread slowly across his mouth, he'd had an idea. Allowing calm to return to his mind and features, he turned so that they would be in his peripheral vision, and then he began to gather his chakra and mold it into the jutsus he thought would deal with the boys in the most entertaining fashion that would be least likely to get him into trouble. 'Alright, how about five beams of light, maybe a foot across, colored to match the element of the room they come from, have them meet in the Void. That's where I'll be, when the beams hit me, I'll start screaming, and change the sound into a howl as I transform myself to look like a giant wolf! As soon as the beams die down, I'll look right at them, growl - OH! And i can give the wolf my sha- er... glowing red eyes! And then I can chase them from the temple! That will teach them some respect!'. Hayato smiled and formed the proper hand seals to cast his genjutsu, removing himself from their visual perceptions, dropping into a crouch, and using all his skill in stealth, moved to the center of the room before adding in the beams. He couldn't wait to see their terrified faces.

The group of boys came to a halt as the they saw several beams of light flood into the void chamber. The beams of lights swirled around young Hayato. In almost an instant the group of boys would hear him screaming in pain. His clothes begun to rip and his body started to contort as he slowly transformed in a giant wolf. Letting on a massive howl the boys fled falling and scrambling as they tried to flee the scene. But not before one wet his pants and nearly passed out before one of his friends pulled him with him. Bursting out of the temple screaming the other students cleaning would come to see what the ruckus was all about. And to their dismay they came upon the transformed Hayato. Which in turn sent them fleeing and abandoning their mission all together...though one stayed. It was a girl, Long white hair and soft pale skin. She was giggling as though she knew what he had done and the whole thing was an illusion. She walked to the door to watch the others flee. Once they were all out of sight she would walk back to her room that she was cleaning. Passing by Hayato she would giggle again and say "Good one..."

It seems that Hayato may have met a new friend, though for now he had a mess to clean up again...

It was hard, REALLY hard, harder than using the jutsu, all his extra effort went into suppressing the wild laughter that was threatening to overtake the growl ripping through his transformed body, while the boys stopped in their tracks, went pale, and ran for their lives, screaming the whole way as they ran out of the temple. One even wet himself as he frantically put as much distance between himself and the giant monster looming over him. 'Great,' he thought, rolling his eyes, 'another mess.' The growl slipped a little, and a coughing chuckle broke up the growl. 'Though,' he thought, amusement flavoring all of his thoughts, 'I'm not sure that they'd be able to tell the difference while I'm in this form.' After the boys had left, he turned his head and froze. The other students that had arrived some time while he had been working had all stopped working and were all wearing identical looks of horror and sprinted after after the other boys. His amusement went out like a snuffed candle, 'Great, now I've got the whole temple to finish.' Just before he canceled his transformation jutsu, he noticed a girl calmly walking toward the door, giving him an amused, yet appreciative look. She had long white hair and pale skin. She watched the others running away, before returning to her task. As she passed him on her return, she giggled and said, "Good one." Hayato shook his head and took his original form, turning toward the broom and mop, thinking also about the rooms left unfinished by the fleeing student. 'Well,' he thought glumly, 'I guess I've got a long night ahead of me.'

The rest of the night seemed to go smoothly without anymore interruptions from screaming boys making messes everywhere. Hayato had to clean up some extra rooms but thankful they were already partially done before the previous cleaners had fled from the monster pus form of Hayato. The mysterious young girl had even been so nice as to help him by cleaning a few of the other rooms along with her own room she had been cleaning. As the two left and parted ways the girl would wing while waving a peace sign cocking her head to the side and saying "tonight was fun, I hope I see you again my scary wolf boy." The. She giggled again and walked on home. It seems that Hayato had concluded his evening with a bang and made a friend. For now it was time to go home and rest for the following day of school that awaited him.
