Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Michino stood in a room no larger than a small kitchen with no appliances. It was made entirely of the same metal used to defend Sunagakure from invaders or the things that lurked underground, and had the same smell as a sterile hospital room. Two bars, one on each wall perpendicular from each other, where placed for people to hold onto. A fitting design as the world around them shook violently, but one a practiced shinobi like the Toraono lord didn’t need as he stood stock still in the center. The metal box around Chiyo and himself rattled like it was going to collapse in on itself at any moment, but somehow held true until the very end.

Being underground had its challenges, but the biggest one by far was moving out of the village and onto the surface. It had been a sheer stroke of luck that the couple had planned to go adventuring around the same time as the village had plans to resurface for a brief moment. At one end of the room a door materialized out of the solid wall and slid open to fill it with a gust of sand and heat. For Chiyo, he doubted she appreciated the sudden reminder that they lived underneath a desert but for himself; why it was quite literally a breath of fresh air.

Stepping out of the box and onto sand with his bare feet, Michino sighed a happily breath of relief. The afternoon sun blazed against his dark skin and the heat felt like the gentle kiss of a lover. The small metal box protruding out of the desert looked like an alien device and he held a hand out so that Chiyoko could take it and help her out back on to their natural plane. It had been nearly an entire year since either of them had exited the village to do anything with the world above, and now seemed like the perfect time.

All that was left was for the third elevator rider to mark off their passports they had left the village, the date, and time. Once that person went back down to give the okay, the entire village would soon come barreling up to offer the rest of Suna a chance at the sun for a solid week; and hopefully, the couple would be back home before it dove back underground.

Otherwise it might be a bit awkward trying to get home.

The volume inside the metal box didn’t make for easy conversation, so Chiyo leaned casually against the rail on one wall, eyes closed as she went over the mental checklist of things they needed for the upcoming journey for the thousandth time. Not that they really had time to go back for anything at this point; they’d have to wait for the village to rise and they only had a week before it sank back into the caves once again. Having considered nearly every contingency, even with perfect timing they would likely be cutting it quite close to missing their return window altogether. Naturally she had already considered the logistics if they returned late, but it certainly wasn’t an ideal scenario. Just considering the ribbing her father would give her upon their return was enough to make her even more impatient to be on their way.

Of course, as soon as the doors slid open and she was greeted with sweltering wind and sand, Chiyo briefly wanted to scrap the whole trip. Eyes blinking open to adjust to the bright sun, she moved forward to take the large, warm hand offered to her and stepped out into the sand. Curling her toes in the soft slippers she wore, a small sigh of pleasure finally escaped her lips. While she wasn’t looking forward to having to rid herself of the desert grit yet again, the warmth of the sun on her skin felt nice. The burn that would come afterward would not, however, and she pulled the linen hood she wore over her head to shield her face.

Waiting for Michino to handle the logistics with their third companion, she walked a few steps away and looked out toward where she knew Soon sat, basking in the same sunlight. For a brief moment, she let memories of her mother in the seaside town wash through her mind. Knowing the holes in her story would soon be filled, even with decades between them, she felt closer to Ame now than she had since her death.

It was a strange and quiet ride to the suface, especially after the near fatal altercation the last Kazekages shared with one another. Shin leaned quietly against the wall waiting for the elevator to stop. It wasn't every day that Shin was acting as guard duty, but today was one of the days he felt obligated to return serviec back to the village.

Donning his Oracle attire, concealing his identity to the woman in the mobile room with the two men, Shin's face would be hidden behind a long beaked white mask. His body cloaked and strapped with leather straps and tarnished buckles. Resting on his head was a wide brim hat and his boots had a noticeale heel. The Plague, which was his code name while working as an Oracle, would step out and look around to enjoy the views of the surface again.

Linking telepathically with the couple to avoid his voice from being detected, Shin would reach out expecting the passports which belonged to the assassin and beast.

`As the attending Jounin, Allow me to mark your departure. If there's difficulties within the first hour of this location please notify Sunagakure. If there are no immediate threats, standby to return until the vessel has fully reached the surface.`

He would mark the requied forms and sign the required documentation, lacing it with his unique chakra signature that could not be replicated to allow the two to be dismissed.

Stepping back into the elevator to descend he let out a sigh. He still had more atonement to do.
