Poison Mastery:
SPOILER: HIDE
1). Amori was so very accustomed to the peril-filled creatures that lay in his native land, and as such creatures of poison where a choice favourite among the Gods as their weapon of choice. Many would die from a single bite from a poisonous creatures, their bodies weren't strong enough to handle the venom and so rotten like old fruit. However, Amori decided that due to the effectiveness of such a disastrous thing, he would learn from the alchemists to embrace the poison and use it as a form of weapon against his foes. It's not the most pleasant way to die but death isn't pleasant. (105)
Healing Factor:
SPOILER: HIDE
2). Some are born with the natural capacity to die, and others aren't. Amori, born with a god build and a healthy system, was not one of those people who would die so easily. Injuries and afflictions were not too detrimental to the man given that his unnaturally high-capacity to recover from wounds was a saving grace in times of war, battle and love-making. Only kidding. This ability, a natural passive, has saved Amori on more than one occasion and as such it has made him thankful everyday that he was blessed with such an offering from the gods. Okay, well maybe not the Gods, but probably something a little kinder. (110)
Thick Blood:
SPOILER: HIDE
3). Thick Blood. Essentially the same as the latter. Amori was also gifted with the ability to train hard, to employ his strategic thoughts into battles and to overcome obstacles so fierce. However, those aren't really gifts, are they? They are abilities that this young man trained for, yearned for, so he improved upon himself and made envy of others. Much like this ability, Thick Blood, which after tedious training regiments, commanding squadrons of soldiers, battling the folk from Hidden Villages; Amori's body was able to transfix itself, adjust its pain threshold, and alter the way his body reacted to physical harm. He enabled himself to take a toll via confrontations... (110)
Duelist:
SPOILER: HIDE
4). Due to his expertise training Amori was able to fight against his foes with a masterful skill; swordplay. He was taught the way of the Duelist, a fine form of fighting, that enabled the man to hone his instincts upon a single target and bring down the might strength of his arms. This style had a drawback though, it wasn't very useful in a large group of people, but such was the risk. Amori trained everyday, honed that skill, and eventually went on to master it with such clairvoyance. It also helped with the abs, mmm. But yes, after years of training he was able to become a much defender of the Valley and its citizens. (116)
Nimble Hands + Bull's Strength + Quickdraw:
SPOILER: HIDE
5).At such a young age, his training allowed for his muscles to expand and develop much more quickly than most other children. However that was also partly due to the intensive food'binge that he often sought, all that energy must have helped. One of the first to develop such an inhumane amount of strength, Amori was skilled in using this new found strength with his most loyal companion, his blade. He was able to shift his weight into the attack and amplify the attacking power by almost double.
After returning back from parol, when comfort was near in the form of his bed, trouble arised from the veil of the border. Lord only knows why but something just happened, after all, how does one actually come to awaken their power? Most of the time it happens very willy-nilly. Anyway, after realizing that he had obtained this ability of Ninjutsu, which was taught to him by an old Grandmaster in the city, he decided to train in the arts of wielding both a melee weapon and offensive ninjutsu; given that a specific type of Advanced Element could prove highly effective during combat. Amori would practice on the dummies back at the training encampments, testing out combination attacks with would include: melee strikes, followed up by bone-crushing ninjutsu. Or, perhaps his favorite, would be to release the restraint of paper around his body - enabling him to move with impeccable speed and to combust into confetti upon being hit - and then going in for the kill.
He was able to work extensively with the sword, his fateful companion, and enable herself to unwittingly develop a passive skill that would allow him to quickly draw out his sword in the heat of battle. In his final test before becoming the a member of the patrol squad, a title only meant for the trained children that were to be protectors, Amori had to participate in a live battle with her instructor. He was easily dispatch within a single strike due to his passive ability to quickdraw his sword... But of course, not one to kill, Amori broke tradition and choose his life. (359)
