Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was hard to believe that there was an incursion in progress, they were such insidious things - books and songs often tell tales of war full of sound and bluster but neither of those things told of the start. It was this creeping sense of discontent and malice, an indifference and laze that pervaded the government and its people. Even in the wake of destruction, a people can become utterly complacent. No walls made with fear or fervor, a civilian carpet awaited even bandits without the protection of the shinobi who allegedly service this village. They were selfish and incompetent, unable to see themselves as anything but heroes. It was pathetic, their need for aggrandizement by their peers and those they fail to protect.

They would not need these comforts much longer because they would all be dead.

A rather tall man sauntered towards the gates, a pair of great-swords were strapped to his back, the tip of the blades dulled as they scraped against the earthen floor only slightly but upon hitting stone left sparks in his wake. The man stood approximately eight feet tall, making him a behemoth more than a man. His shock of red hair, reminiscent of his surrogate father despite their approximate ages they shared no common blood but physically they could have been considered brothers with only a handful of years separating the teens. He was looking for two people in particular, one being his former mentor who was none other than the infamous Shouki and the other being a woman who was rumored to be his mother. He knew little of her, only that she existed and that she was part of the group that infiltrated Sunagakure a year ago but that she was now a traitor to the cause. He was not here to save her or to get an explanation, Six was already under orders to procure her and he had no interest in intervening. She was going to be reprogrammed or she was die in the process; the result would only be to her benefit - life was suffering, something he learned from a young age.

He arrived at the gates of the Toraono Dojo, the portal to the depths of the subterranean hidden village and knocked. He did not bother battering down the simple door although he possessed sufficient strength to do so, rather he waited until someone answered. They did not even use decent guardians as doormen, likely they felt they were above the prospect as what met him was a little slip of a thing garbed like an ANBU with a kitten mask. Like a snake, his hand shot out and wrapped around the the little girl's throat. He lifted her from the ground, three feet separated her dangling toes from the dusty floor. His second hand had a vial, with a basic display of manual dexterity he popped the soil-colored cork and forced the contents of the glass vial into the girl's mouth as she attempted to make a silent scream. He clasped his hand over her maw that was agape and pushed her back against a wall. His grasp around her neck loosened, as she tried to gasp for air she choked on the liquid trapped in her mouth. Her hands pounded on Eights forearm as she refused to swallow the likely poisonous mixture he forced into her mouth. Little did she know, the route of administration was sub-lingual and her stomach acid would have broken down the dangerous compound. It would not take long, only a few seconds before her protests weakened, her knees buckled and her body slumped onto the ground. A foam was coming from her mouth when he relinquished his hold on the ANBU, she was dead but it would take a few moments for anyone to recognize this. Her heart still had an agonal beat every now and then, desperate to survive and the rhythm of breath from diaphragmatic expansion and contraction gave another pair of gasping breaths as he calmly walked away.
