Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was unusual for Med-nin of the main village in Wind country to be called out to other villages to complete menial tasks. An autopsy should have been well within the means of the skilled shinobi and base nursing staff of Akimoto but a request had been made for a Med-nin and Sousuke had assigned Yume for the job. Was it due to her ability to look at things from a non-biased research perspective? There were certainly others who had performed multiple postmortems and were more adept than she however none of them were as comfortable travelling above ground. The caravan had taken two days to reach the port city and Yume spent most of the third simply enjoying what the upper world had to offer. There was imported produce from other countries as well as fresh seafood, cooked up right on the docks that could be bought for a reasonable amount of yen. Belly full and body rested, she and her fox reported to the morgue early the next day.

The wounds were unlike any other she had seen. Deep lash burns that had split the flesh right open seemed to be oozing a black sticky liquid. Picking up a swab, she would collect samples of just the substance before slicing tiny layers of flesh to see how it affected the rest of the underlying tissue. The pungent odour as her scalpel pierced the skin prompts hers and CuRua’s stomach to turn, ending with their faces buried in the same refuse bin emptying that morning’s breakfast.

It would appear that the tar-like fluid increases the rate of decomposition and leads to advanced necrosis with-in a few days. Normally this level of decay would require at least 2 weeks under the right conditions. It is well to note that the scent was contained within the Dermis and no evidence of the putrefaction was apparent on the Epidermis.

Jotting down on a note pad her sensory findings, she would open a window and turn on a fan to clear the air, assisting by pushed the fumes with her own wind jutsus. Donning a mask and similarly protecting her reynard's sensitive nose, she would once again take up her scalpel and begin with a Y incision. The majority of the internal organs appeared unaffected by the poison except for the liver and heart which had both been covered in yellow fatty deposits and had taken on a greenish tinge caused by sepsis. Concluding that the venom was the cause of death, she took a few quick photographs for further analysis. She had never seen these sorts of wounds before but she felt that part of the investigation fell to the ANBU. What ever had attacked the village was highly dangerous and could cause sever harm to whomever and whatever crossed its path. Carefully sewing up the cadavers, she would take a seat at the chief examiner’s desk and write up her formal report. CuRua had jumped up on her lap and was basking in the attention her left had was giving him between the ears as her right was occupied with paper work. He knew after a day like this, it was requisite to take in the sights and try to forget everything. That only meant one thing: More seafood and possibly bacon.
