Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Today was a quiet day, Akumi had the rest of the afternoon off, but unfortunately, her big brother was still working. So she was home alone. Almost sounds like a movie title.
Akumi was idling in her room at her desk, she had been looking at an old art book, well more like a picture book of her sculptures mixed in with explosions and her father. He was hard on her, but since she had been away from him, she couldn't help miss him, it almost made her forget about the bad times. She, of course, missed her mother, without her mother she wouldn't be in Konoha now, with her older brother. It's like a dream, practicing her art, how she wants, where she wants. She even got to blow up an old building, and show off to a cute guy. But that moment, it was more than just a cute guy standing next to her, and a tower crumbling due to her explosion. It was more than the heat, the fire, and the power, she had never had live victims before. It made it better for her, and she wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not. Yoruko Enjoyed it too, she remembered he had a smile too, sadistic one. He must have heard the screams, and smelt the burning flesh as well. There were a lot of people in that building, she doubted a single one survived. Well, one did, the old man who left before she set the explosives. Riku Sanchesu, She would not forget his name, he was just a regular old guy, who was able to sniff a Shinobi out. Not only that, he escaped using some sort of gun.

Akumi shook her head, she did not want to think about that old man, he was too strange for her. But she could daydream about that mission all day. Unfortunately, her butt was growing sore. So it was time to walk around the house.
Since arriving here, akumi had barely explored this house, she just wasn't home very often. So walking around their big empty house would be no problem. Their house was very nice and had plenty of room to grow a family. Maybe one day she'd see her Nephews run around the courtyard, and her brother's wife just sitting there laughing. She knew it'd be a while before she settled down, she still had a fire in her heart to become stronger. But her brother, he was talking about his girlfriend as if he was ready to settle down. He was getting old anyways, his prime years almost over.

As Akumi walked, she was daydreaming about what ifs, mostly about a big family here in Konoha. She didn't think her father and brother would get along, but she would love it if her mother came to stay here. As she walked she came across a part of the house she never went too. What caught her attention was a door she'd never been to before Tamashii's room. She wiggled the doorknob, but it was locked. Thanks to her explosive chakra she could turn any regular Jutsu into an explosion, well rock or fire that was. She summoned a flame, a small fireball, and aimed it at the door knob. Using her explosive chakra, she made it explode on impact of the door. Like that, the door knob was blasted off. Tama might notice it if he was ever home.

The door creaked open as if it had been a while since it had been opened. Maybe not that long ago, just the last time Tama was actually home. The room had a desk, some shelves, and a bed. why would he keep his room locked up? She wasn't sure. She walked in and felt a shiver down her spine. It felt like something was in here with her, she couldn't put her finger on it, maybe a ghost? Or maybe just the feeling of her not supposed to be in here. Her eye caught a glint, something shiny. Despite the lack of sun shining in, the glint came from a necklace laying on the desk. She walked over and picked it up. It felt old, and it was some kind of symbol. A triangle within a circle? She had seen this before, but she was not sure where.

Close to the desk was a box, small, but it had two books sitting on top. She picked both of them up and set them on top of the desk. One was small, almost pocket-sized. She sensed something about it, a darkness that loomed over it. The second book was a bit bigger.
Akumi opened the second book the bigger one and looked at it. It was a list of name, some were crossed out. She wasn't stupid, she knew this was a hit book. Did that mean Tama used to be an Anbu? Or still is? She knew anbu were the ninja that carried out hits and hunted people down. She knew their lives were secret as well, Tama wouldn't be to tell her even if he wanted to. But it still made her a little upset that she did not know.

Her Attention went to the next book, Akumi Opened it up and saw the symbol that was on the necklace. Was this a book of scriptures? Akumi glanced over it, she was intrigued by it, it felt like it was calling to her. As she read on more into it, she became more curious. This book talked about sacrifices, a great God, and eternal life. She wasn't very interested in eternal life, but she did find one scripture that interested her the most.

The eyes of God. Akumi looked at the picture, ripples in the eyes. They were beautiful. This was art, the entirety of this was. She just did not know something like this even existed. Sacrifices were frowned upon, it probably was illegal. But the hit book, Tama could have been using the hits as sacrifices, it wouldn't be breaking any laws, course it would still be taboo. Akumi thought her brother was sweet and happy, she had no clue about this darkness.

Akumi didn't care if her brother practiced this, she knew this is what she needed to do to achieve her goals. THough she wasn't sure if he would approve. He seemed like a goodie two shoes now, maybe he left this life behind? Would make sense as to why he was not wearing his necklace.

Akumi took the Necklace and the Scriptures. It'd probably be a week before Tama noticed this gone and his room broken into. Akumi didn't mind leaving evidence behind for this, He was hardly home anyway. By the time he noticed, she probably would be done reading the book. Akumi placed the scripture in her pouch, along side another book she carried around. As for the necklace, she placed it beside the book in her pouch. She would put it on, but she knew this was a religion she would have to wait to show off. She still looked like a child after all, and most of this village was goodie two shoes. They probably would try to talk her out of it, or think she needed help. But no, she knew exactly what she wanted now.

Upon learning about the Jashin religion, Akumi learned of curse sealing. Once she found out about curse sealing akumi learned the jutsu from the book. She of course practiced and experimented before trying it on herself. After she was confident enough, she decided to place one on herself. She didn't want it to be noticeable, so she picked her lower back to place it. Finding a mirror, and making sure she could actually reach her lower back, she began the process. She charged fire chakra into her hand and placed it to where she wanted it. Akumi resighting the phrase "Sigillum ignis" She said clearly. She felt a burn, and then a rush of heat. The cursed seal had been placed.
