Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Eye of the Tiger

0. Physician - Medical Branch
Zethui was always the type who felt he needed to be prepared for anything. That is one of the many reasons he trained so hard in unarmed combat. He knew that blades dull and objects break but one always as their own two hands. As he learned the ways of a healer, he realized that his hands were limited to what herbology and many other medical aids lack. He knew he had to be prepared for anything. He custom tailored his pants to have extra pockets, his metallic arms to have a few secret slots, and even learned how to make more potent potions and elixirs.
0. Shinobi 101 - Shadow -> Melee acc
Zethui felt a strong affinity for the darkness. While being in Konohagakure’s ANBU unit, he would train in the darkness until he became one with it. His eyes adapted to it, his senses heightened from lack of sight. In the end, his natural fear of the dark transformed into a new ability where he became immersed in it. As he started to live outside of the shadows, his ability to harness the shadows became more difficult to maintain. It became a new challenge for him to take the darkness and bring it into the light. As a person has an internal beacon, Zethui was able to harness his inner darkness and make it tangible.
1. Human Anatomy
The most exciting thing that Zethui was staring to learn was how the body worked. As a med-nin in training, he was starting to learn about how the body is a complex design. There are more than just muscles and bones under one’s skins. It is a maze of nerves and electrodes that work in ways that a human can barely comprehend. The best part of his new found knowledge is how he is able to interject his knowledge of how to kill became much more lethal. Instead of looking to hit an opponent with a massive amount of power, he practiced on how to hit in a precise location but inflicting permanent damage.
2. Called Shot
As he learned the way of the body, he also learned that trying to blow off someone’s arm was difficult but making it immobile was just as efficient. He would take a nail and place it into a block of wood. Then he would use nothing but two fingers to drive the nail in. His fingers bled the first 6 months he tried this. After a while though, he slowly built up the ability to make his fingers harder than the nail it hit. With more determination, he was able to start driving the nail in only a hit or two. He could focus his force to a single point of impact, shattering the wood block in its wake.
3. Elemental Armor
A trick that he learned while living in the shadows was the ability to bend shadows around him. He was able to wear a cloak of darkness, allowing him to sneak almost anywhere. It wasn’t something that came natural. It was a talent that he had to master through small doses of performance. His body had to learn how to become one with the shadows. His pores had to soak up the darkness while the shadows had to reflect off his soul. It became an extension of his being and soon he didn’t know where he ended and the darkness began.
4. Duelist
As an assassin, he was trained to kill a lone subject. He would track, observe, plot, and eventually kill a victim. This training gave him a zen-like focus on an assailant. When he was just a kid, he was made to follow a cat around time. He had to meticulously detail the cat’s movements with times, places, actions of its day. This went on for months and months. He would watch from afar. Once he had grown within the corps, he was given the new assignment of finding a rhythm to the cat’s movements. Over the course of two years, he learned the cat’s methods and devised a plan to kill it by laying a simple trap in its path.
