Today was simply not Reicheru's day. After getting back from a more or less uneventful monster hunting expedition, she'd come to the Bibliotheca Conscientiae because she'd heard about Kumogakure's Kinjutsu registry. She'd assumed she would find more information on the topic somewhere on the shelves of this bastion of knowledge. She was wrong. All she could find was a 'Book of Kinjutsu' that was sorely lacking in any sort of breadth or detail of anything beyond Jashinism. Perhaps they others had been checked out, or perhaps the knowledge hadn't yet been made public by the medical research branch. Regardless, Rei was intent not to waste this evening. Though she'd hoped to learn more about what on earth had happened to her out on the Spine of the World, it looked like she'd have to settle for something a little more familiar.
If she could find it, of course. She started in Aisle F, then E, then D, and finally C. Surely, somewhere there was a record of the Nanjirou of Lightning? Defeated, the kunoichi reentered the main aisleway and doubtfully eyed Aisle G. 'Surely not…' Rei thought to herself. In Konoha she'd been spoiled for information, what with the village having been defeated and captured by the samurai and all. Ironically, it was when she had easy access to information on her clan of swordsmen that she wanted nothing to do with it. Warily eyeing the word "Folklore" in small letters beneath the large, bolded "G", she sighed. What did she have to lose at this point?
