Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been two long years, but finally Yanjirou was home at last. Initially, he had met his father outside of their home to do the proper protocol to allow someone back into the village and had been offered the chance to head into the village or go inside and reunite with his mother and sister. He had chosen the latter option and Byakko guards had headed in ahead of him to inform Lady Yanshi and Kyushiko of his arrival so they could properly be prepared since it was so unexpected. Of course, the house wasn't clean up to the caliber that a mother wanted when guests arrived but thankfully it was her son who didn't truly care about the cleanliness of the house. Besides, his mother and sister would be more excited and relieved to see that he had successfully to Cloud and had only received minor "injuries" while he was there.

Eventually, Yanjirou would be led to a door where his mother and sister were waiting for him on the other side by a guard. He would be given a simple pat on his back as the guard who escorted him left and the one in front of the door would step to the side to allow the young Byakko entry into the room. If and when he entered, he would be met with his mother tearing up after him being away for so long and a curious look on his sister's face. The door would close behind him due to one of the guards when he entered and he would be allowed to speak with them like a family should. He had a lot of catching up to do.

It was certainly strange having to be escorted by guards to his own home, but it was to be expected after being away for so long. The Toraono Dojo had not changed much since he'd last seen it, which was comforting for the moment, and it did not take long for the group to arrive at his clan's residence. From here, the guards led him deeper inside the home, where they saw the occasional cat - members of the feline contract - and the same, white decor that had always been there. Even now, the simplistic appearance of his home was irksome, but there were more important matters to deal with as they arrived where the meeting was to take place. Entering as the door opened, the boy's eyes fell upon his family.

"Hmph." Unsurprisingly, he was not the only one who'd grown since the last time they'd all seen each other. Upon a simple glance, he was able to see a new determination in his sister's eyes, far different from when she was younger and unmotivated. What caused this change was unclear, but he felt he would soon learn the reason. After a moment of silence, and several tears dripping down his mother's eyes, Yanjirou smiled, "Mother, Sister, it's been a long time." He hoped this would at least stop his mother's crying, even if they were tears of joy. Despite his efforts however, his appearance hadn't changed, and his clothes were still in tatters. Likely not the best choice to avoid changing before coming here, but it would have to work. The young Byakko remained where he was, remembering - at least - that it was only proper to wait for an invitation to sit.

This was sure to be an interesting reunion, and the boy was already waiting for his mother to calm down enough to scold him...

As soon as the son and eventually head of the Toraono Clan entered the room, the door would be sealed behind him by the Byakko guards that had escorted him to the room allowing him to be alone with his immediate family. Fortunately for him, both of his parents were not in the room and thus he would not need to hear the bitterness from his mother about how his father had turned into a less-than desirable man to look up to even though he already had a shaky relationship with his dad. The real random variable in the room however would be Kyushiko, his sister, considering he had left at a young age and they had grown up quite differently; neither of them appeared to look physically or mentally the same anymore which could be a good or bad thing.

Anywho, the boy would wait for a few moments before he cracked a smile to his sister and mother and spoke. This would only cause his mother to tear up more as she got up from her seat and wrapped her arms tightly around him. His growth clearly visible as she only had to bend slightly to be eye level with him unlike when he was younger. Her powerful upbringing with members of the head clan would be visible as she would bring her son's head to her chest and continue to cry. It appeared that she was filled so with much joy and happiness that her son returned and wasn't dead that she wasn't going to scorn him right away. At least she was giving him the parental attention and love that he rightfully deserved unlike his father who headed off to work and left him to do what he wanted to do with his life. Maybe, someday the relationship between father and son would be correct, but nobody should hold their breath.

While one of the females of the Byakko Clan was relieved to see the boy returned, Kyushiko's demeanor didn't show that she was relatively impressed or relieved at all. No, she looked like she definitely had grown up and developed her own personality as she walked over to her brother and flicked on the head before cracking a smile finally. Her tone and words however weren't as nice as she began to speak to him the following: "It's been a long time, Brother. You have had mother and father worried sick about you since you left and you couldn't even find time to write a letter to them to assure them that you are still alive. Most of the clan assumed you had died after you hadn't been in contact with us in months. Don't do that again, Baka..."

After she decided to be a hardass, she would finish with something more teasing. She would chuckle as she spoke the following: "Also, I thought you would've grown up more but you are still short. This will be a disappointment when you begin to look for a mate." It was true that he had grown since they last saw each other, but he was still shorter than her and he would be teased about this moving forward possibly. However, they were still both young so there was a high probability that he might eventually be as tall as his sister, his mother or even could possibly pass his father who towered over much of the village. Only time would tell.
