Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Three figures made their way through the archaic dojo. The brown and purple clad pair seemed calm as they made their way through the halls, where as the blue haired one zigzagged all over distracted by any new sight, sound and occasionally smell.

"Is this place awesome, or what? Jin what are we doing here? Is that a forbidden scroll, oooooh!"

The brown haired ninja rolled his eyes and sighed opening the next door and entering the room. He was followed by the other two, in to a training room filled with racks of weapons. Satto jumped from one to the next testing swords and kunai before discarding them, and moving on to another rack. As he followed Jinshin replaced the various lethal implements properly whilst talking in his slow steady way, which was both reassuring and seemed slightly unnerving to those unused to it.

"I believe its time we found your weapon Kasure. And began perfecting your fighting style."
"I don't really use weapons. Last time I tried throwing a kunai, it ended with it embedded into my thigh. After that I thought it best to stick with my fists."
"I think perhaps I can help with that, but before anything else I suggest you work out what you lack in terms of ninjutsu, and then we can see what you need to build upon."
"What I lack? I don't really know what I lack," Kaz played with his hands, as different elemental chakra flowed through them, in his palms appeared a burst of fire, which was quenched by water, that then dried up into dirt which was eviscerated by a spark into dust, and finally turned into a spiral of air. Jinshin raised an eyebrow as Kaz kept talking, seemingly unaware that his previous training had become so rote that he didn't notice its strain.
"I guess that I usually attack areas rather than people when I use ninjutsu. I'm not really sure."
Kaz sat down in the centre of the room to think as he was circled by his doppelgangers. A few seconds of silence passed over the group.

Akuma Kuro arrived in a resolute pace of order and hunger. Once upon a time Kuro was as calm as the breeze but the Cabal's efforts had changed all that and things could make him angry for very few reasons now. Akuma Kuro stood at six feet, three inches, weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds. Kuro’s silver gray mane of hair had a reasonable amount of muscle mass to conceal. With a twenty one inch neck Kuro’s hair couldn’t conceal very much even as it cascaded to the center of his upper back. Violet eyes with gold slits peered from a chocolate brow with large ebony horns growing from where a normal man’s temples would be. He wore a sand tone obi around his thirty six inch waist. The obi allowed Kuro to carry his honor blade in a specialized bone sheath. Kuro wore his battle pouch on a second sash just above his right hip. Adjacent his sacred blade Kuro wore a pair of collapsed fuuma shuriken, and last but not least Kuro wore his leg sheath on the interior of his hakama just atop his fighting gi shorts with his ANBU serum and summon scrolls. A convenient cut in the silk cloth of his left hakama pants leg allowed Kuro full access to his ANBU gear without showing exactly where it was till he motioned to grab it. Securing his anbu arm guards and leggings Kuro covered the runic terran markings of his hand and leg wraps. Kuro’s tail swished back and forth its tiger stripes faintly surging with chakra. His black gi top opened to show his overly muscular upper body. With distinct memory and but an offset gesture Kuro telekinetically replaced every weapon not being used back in its place among the racks before feeling something familiar about the man/men before him. It seemed Nanashi was and Kurokawa were not the only ones with an expanded consciousness and soul like his own.

"Greetings to you all, I am Toraono Kuro, how may I assist you?"<i></i>

Upon seeing the new arrival the three in the room had different reactions. Satto, taken completely aback immediately began forming handseals, Jinshin bowed deeply, and Kaz remained sat on the floor, eyes closed. Satto stopped after a second and sheepishly bowed in a clumsy manner, though their bodies were identical, clearly some were more used to formality than others.

"Master Kuro, Apologies for the intrusion, we sought a place to meditate and train. My associate, Needs to perfect a form of Taijutsu or he will be left behind by his rivals I fear." Jin nodded towards Kaz who stirred and smiled.

"I don't believe this is one who will believe our pretext of family Jin, his soul is as stretched as mine." Kaz stood and looked up at Kuro deeply, the violet eyes locking for a moment. He too then bowed, though not as deep as the others before continuing. "It is as Jin said, though not for the need of impressing rivals, I am relatively new to Suna and have made none of those. Though he will not look me in the eye and say it, he fears that in obtaining my next body I will cause myself irreparable damage. Though i'm not sure if this is the solution, he also brings up a point that I am not the most proficient taijutsu user either. Unlike yourself I see." Whether he was alluding to the fact Kuro was carrying a small arsenal, or that he had more muscle mass than anyone he had seen was left to the hearer.

"But where are my manners? I Kioku Kasure. These are my brothers Satto and Jinshin." Kaz turned and began looking at the lines of weapons, swords, axes, maces, none he could see himself using in a fight. Sighing he turned to the Sennin. "And I think we could really use some help if you're willing."

Akuma Kuro smiled genuinely as he sat down and set his notes aside. "It is good that you can maintain separation of identity in your forms despite your proximity, you will find that keeping a good distance away from each form allows you to concentrate better. You will also find training scrolls for taijutsu on the third row of scrolls to your brother Satto's right. Feel free to keep any scrolls you take from these chambers as these are copies for trainees but do ask if you decide to take an original from the family library. Those are originals and we take pride to preserve them. As for your current status and training situation, just how physically adept were you intending on training your associate to be?"

Kuro could play along, the gods knew he played quite a few roles himself while he worked about Suna.

Hansame was happily skipping down the halls of the Torano Dojo, without a care in the world. He was going to a different room then he had before to find a weapon of his choice. He had tried the other day but after a few hours he decided to call it a day and get back to work. Standing about 3'6, with bright purple eyes, and wearing a nice shirt with a purple jacket and shorts, the tiny blond made his way down the halls and turned a corner with a smile filled with optimism and determination. He paused for a moment, hearing voices coming from a nearby room. Making his way curiously towards the entrance, Hansame peeked his head in.

What he saw made the smile on his face temporarily disappear for a moment. A giant figure was sitting down, but even then Hansame could only imagine how tall he was standing up. The optimistic blond also noticed three other people in the room, but his focus was right on the giant figure. Noticing the large amount of weapons and scrolls in the room, Hansame's curiosity got the best of him and he decided to speak up. "Er, hello! May i come in if that's ok?" he asked, slightly nervous, but the smile on his face remained bright and optimistic.

Akuma Kuro stood at six feet, three inches, weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds. When he was seated on the floor he was only four feet, two inches in height. Kuro’s silver gray mane of hair had a reasonable amount of muscle mass to conceal. His black gi top opened to show his overly muscular upper body.

Kuro listened as the young violet eyed child asked to come in and smiled. It was always nice to meet a child with great manners.
Turning so the child could see his smile but remaining seated Kuro waved his right hand in a come on in motion as he addressed him.
"Why certainly you may enter young man, I am Toraono Kuro, who might you be?"

Satto's eyes hadn't left the giant of a man His neck is like a small tree. Well maybe a medium tree, or a cactus. Kaz pushed the errant thoughts out of his mind. Jin maintained a neutral posture, calmly he watched the entrance of the new player in the scene, before going to retrieve a scroll. Kaz stood up and nodded at the newcomer in acknowledgement before redirecting his gaze towards the sennin. He cracked his knuckles, not menacingly but with purpose. Satto backed up to the side of the room next to Jin, to leave space for a combat. He began edging over to the newcomer.

"I think he wants me to good enough that I don't have to resort to ninjutsu. I might not be able to get quite that competent with one training, but I think I can given some time." He turned to his brothers his eyes filled with a mix of determination and anticipation, enthusiasm practically radiating off him. It was time for him to see exactly how far he had to go to be the best of ninja. The young man bowed deeply to his elder.

"If you would train me I would be honoured. My brother can heal me so please don't pull your punches too much."

After which he would place himself lightly on the balls of his feet, arms raised in front of him, an at ready stance from the scroll Jin was reading. He waited then for the response to come tension building within him.

Satto sidled up next to the tiny blond figure, smiling cheerily. "Please come in, though you're about to see my brothers ass get handed to him in a spectacular fashion." He winked, and continued. "So if your not a fan of blood and gore you might want to skip this one, though I think its going to be very educational, even for a spectator."

Hansame smiled back and the giant and walked into the room, staring at all of the weapons with eyes of awe before turning back to the giant. "My name is Ehime Hansame, a-and I'm here to find out what kind of weapon I would like to wield" he replied cheerfully, nodding his head. He turned his head to one of the three other people, the one who addressed him, and tilted his head, a little confused, but eventually gave way at the mention of an educational opportunity. Grinning, he looked at the stranger with peaked curiosity as he looked at the stranger enter his fighting stance, but taking peeks at the array of different weapons just waiting to be tried out.

Turning his head back to the giant, he turned once again to the stranger next to him. "er, mister, nice to meet you!" he smiled, before continuing. "but, who is the giant?" he said quietly, not wanting to appear rude to anyone in case they heard.

Kuro used the shadow handseal even though he needed none and summoned Mouko Kuro ((Kuro's Hyuuga form). Which was also an exact replica of Akuma Kuro except his eyes had a slight violet glow. He took a south paw stance and began to explain, "First off Satto-san, you underestimate yourself and that discredits your opponent and teacher. No teacher would harm his student irreparably just to teach a lesson, painful it may be, excessive blood and gore however, is unnecessary. Take a fighting stance that complements your individual essence and then explore your capacity for battle." With his stance set and his eyes open Mouko Kuro beckoned Satto to attack so that he could learn shi shi no ken basic style. One of the many ways that Tora no Ken is taught, with his legs in classic relaxed but perfect horse stance Mouko Kuro maintained his left hand leading stance to present the added advantage of position that forced weakness to become strength.

Hansame and Kasure would be able to hear and feel the chakra lacing Mouko Kuro's body, it was like a dull yet vividly dense as if the air around his body had weight all it's own.

The two have no true knowledge or understanding of where to turn with the gravity of the event that had just occurred. They only knew that authority needed to know. But the guardian of the young girl fears many things. The future of the Masuda name was among the greatest concerns of the swordsman, with the Young Master's well being having the highest priority.

The pair enter what seems to be a dojo, one of the many areas in this compound. Their attires not different from that horrible night before, a red sweater and black skirt for Ava, and a black ninja out with red guards decorated with burns and blood. Upon seeing a known face in the area, Shoma approaches slowly with the girl not far behind. There is need for Kuro, but how else should one begin other than,"I am terribly sorry for our intrusion Guardian of the Sand, but I am in need of direction... I would like to make a statement."His tune is a low one has to not command but request, for there was hesitation in his words.

Akkuma Kuro turned to regard Shoma while Mouko Kuro continued the lesson for Kasure. "Master Shoma, whatever you need, I am at your service. Please tell me what you need and feel free to make a statement at any time as our guest you do not need permission to speak your mind on anything that concerns you."<i></i>

Existing as a multi functional being allowed Kuro a very efficient way to take on multiple points of view and situations just like this. While one facet explained personal combat, another listened for problems encountered by the Toraono clan's guests.

Hansame excitedly watched the two as the giant man made a clone of himself, only slightly different, like the eyes, which the optimistic little blond admired the glow they had. Taking out his trusty notepad and scribbling down notes about what the giant was saying. Trying to mimic the stance of the figure, he managed to come to a close imitation, though it looked a little sloppy coming from him. As the optimistic blonde watched, he heard a strange, new noise in his head. Going out of the stance he tried to imitate to listen to the sound some more, Hansame was surprised to see that it seemed to be emitted from the Giant figure Kuro, and the boy became even more enthralled with the figure.

Next thing Hansame knew, he saw two other people enter the dojo room, a girl and another man. He watched curiously as the man spoke words with Kuro, and watched with excitement at all of the activity around the room. Moving to a rack with weapons all over them, the optimistic blonde stared at the wide assortment, wondering what different more complex ones were about and how they worked.

Kioku cocked his head like a rabbit as he listened an odd habit that he had for as long as he could remember, a mixture of paying attention and a thoughtful gaze into the distance. He phased out for a moment, his brothers keeping up with what transpired as he thought about his own temperament and what he would consider a natural way to beat someone into unconsciousness. As he snapped back he saw new people on the scene and was caught up by his internal link within a heartbeat. His pose shifted into a much more, unorthodox one, as he slackened his joints and relaxed. The Master opposing him would note this as a 'traditional' street fighting stance, one which would allow you roll with strikes rather than dodge them. Kioku smiled as began bouncing from one leg to the other, it felt much more natural. Without any hesitation he darted forward covering the ground quickly and lashing out at the sennin with a one two combo, just to get things started.

Satto, meanwhile headed over to the newcomers and bowed, as respectfully as he could. Upon noting the newcomers hesitation in speaking he would back off a distance to show respect. He hoped he wasn't making things awkward, last thing he wanted to do was cause an incident. Jin moved up to Hansame, and would gesture at the rack he was looking at.
"Suddenly it got crowded in here, but you continue looking at the weapons, your wish to learn must be pretty great to ignore the goings on.around you. Is there any one in particular which takes your interest? Or do you just want to expand your horizons in general?" As he waited he would pick up a set of tonfa and swing them idly through a drill.

Mouko Kuro steadied himself with the flow of movement from Kioku as he bound forward, Mouko slipped inside the left strike and ducked under the right to come up nearly behind Kioku where he simply pushed him forward with a distinctive slap that caused a reasonable palm shaped welp on Kasure's shoulder. He then danced back three steps before beginning to slowly wind his left arm about in preparation to jolt strike Kioku in the shoulder again.

Akuma Kuro kept his eyes on Hansame and Shoma before giving his full attention to Shoma as Jin stepped forth to talk with the young Hansame.

It would be just after Shoma spoke that he notices... a, s.e.c.o.n.d Kuro. The two reason that perhaps the sand guardian has a brother, seemingly a twin. Still, it would seem that the samurai would get a little more attention than he had hoped for. But what needs to be done, would be done. He sets himself on both knees and disarms himself of the sword at his side, placing it to his right. "Guardian of the Sand... I have made a grave error, failure in judgement and ability... When it was last dusk, the night before this day,... <i></i>
{Uses Snapshot to recount the events of this thread, The Banditos. }
"... My actions did not save any one. I place myself at the mercy of your laws. Yet, it is my plea that the Masuda Name, nor the honor of the Village Hidden in the Stone, nor the name of the samurai of the Fire Country, nor the great name of Sarutahiko Daimyojin, and yet still... Masuda Ava, let these things not suffer wrath nor penalty if there be. Please allow I alone, Otandai Shoma, to take any negative consequence that may come." <i></i>

This would be the first time the rest of this story is shared with Masuda Ava. She stands in silence with a hand over her mouth, not sure how to feel. Her bodyguard remains on the ground, and would further bow to the demon kin, placing both palms and a his forehead on the ground in submission. There are others in view, yes, but their roles are unknown to the swordsman and swords woman to be. There isn't intention to be rude to them, however it seems to the pair that typical pleasantries were ill-fitting at the time.

Kuro placed a calming hand upon Shoma's shoulder," The fault is not yours Otandai Shoma. It belongs to myself and the other guardians of Sunagakure for not having restored the Anbu to full strength and for not building proper defensive perimeters around the village. You have done all you could, by our standards and laws you have committed no crimes. Feel free to bring the bodies of those whom harmed our people to the dojo so they may be stripped of their water and their corpses left outside the village for the sandwyrms and carnasaurs. I will have the Sunans that fell to the criminals properly placed at rest in accordance with their family wishes or family records."<i></i>

The purple haired genin felt the blow before he could even react, his body still rolled with it though, flipping head over heel before landing some what unsteadily on his feet. It's only a bruise Yet the impact felt like he had been hit by a sandwyrm. That was a tap? He knew entering the spar he was out matched, but this was a little overwhelming. His eyes measured the room, and his opponent carefully. He'll go for the same spot again Kaz was good at reading people, and this lesson felt somewhat familiar in design. Either way he would have to use that information somehow. he bounded forward with the same vigor again, he would seem to be pulling back his injured arm to strike, hopefully luring the giant into attempting to counter before at the last second flipping his body round a strike quickly with his uninjured fist. It wasn't much, but he had no advanced techniques or special moves to work with.

Satto Meanwhile, saw and heard the foreigners testimony, and felt sympathy. It had been years since the night he had failed to save the villagers, but those moments still lay heavily upon him. It wasn't an easy thing to forgive yourself for, so often he treated his current actions as some kind of penance, but in truth it was never going to be enough, not for him. But perhaps for this man he could give him some piece of mind.

"My knowledge of Sunan law is incomplete, and I will bow to Master Kuro's senority in this regard. But I know the feeling to see loss you could have prevented had you acted differently or sooner. I know you won't feel quite, whole, until you have made some penance for your inaction. Suna is a dangerous lands filled with, threats that the common people cannot deal with. Perhaps if you deal with one of these you will feel like you have earnt some peace. Master when last I, met you asked for help dealing with one of the great wyrms. I had no time due to other duties, to aid you then, but perhaps now I have more time I can."

Satto was careful with his speech for once. He pledged no one and merely drew together strands for others to weave into a plan. His voice remained neutral throughout, hiding his true feelings of sympathy for the foreigner.

Hansame turned his head as he saw one of the brothers standing next to him, complementing him on his resolve in finding a weapon. Blocking out all of the noise and fighting going on behind him as one of the giants sparred while the other talked with the newcomer, He looked at the rack again before taking hold of a knife and holding it, examining it's weight to see, but then put it back on the shelf, looking a little confused. "yes sir, but i don't really have an idea of what weapon, or even an idea of how i want to fight. Er, would it be too much if you helped me? Y-You don't have to though!" He said, smiling

The Demon kin speaks unto Shoma. Kuro speaks of the law, of penalty, of.... pardon. Shoma had not foreseen this, therefore he struggles to believe this initially. Still, he would sit upwards but remain on his knees. Ava would not waste time to walk to her bodyguard swiftly and hug him from his right shoulder. "Shoma, you are free of responsibility. You no longer need to carry this weight."<i></i> Yet the swordsman would not return Ava's gesture, nor move from that matter. Another man offers his perception of the matter. Although Shoma does not speak, inwardly he acknowledges the fair accuracy of his thoughts. It would serve more to bring understanding to the Young Master of Shoma's plight. The stranger spoke seemingly as a familiar to Kuro, probably as someone who councils with him.

Yes, peace would not be so easily and so early acquired. The youth releases samurai who then bows once more to the Sand Guardian stating "Thank you. You honor me with mercy. Forgive me still for I must be excused, I am in need of rest."<i></i> With these words, Shoma stands to his feet and give a nod to the other stranger who spoke to them, before heading toward the exit. Ava takes the time to explain his actions in saying "The night had been long for him for he has been without rest, as well as I. I bid you well in training and hope it produces much fruit. We will retire for a while, however do send for us if there is need.<i></i> A curtsy is given to all else in the room before she turns to follow her teacher. And as the teacher leaves, he notes a youth curious about weapons. Normally, Shoma would offer advice to the young man but as for now, he feels under qualified to do so.

Satto watched the foreigner go. Inwardly he sighed, perhaps it was another thing that he had screwed up, perhaps one of his brothers would have handled it better, Perhaps you should remember that only through failure do when learn the meaning of success. He looked at the sennin anyway for a response to his inquiry.

Meanwhile Jin smirked at the student before him. This was one of the reasons he enjoyed teaching so much.
"Remember that I could teach you any of a dozen styles, from blades to bows. Flails to fists. But when you ask someone how they fight, it is a very personal thing. Even within my brothers, each favours a different element of ninjutsu and a different weapon set. I like staves myself, but the question you need to ask is how you wish to fight. Defensively? Letting the blows of the enemy fall down upon you, and flow off like rain upon a mountain? Or to be a leaf within a storm with each twirl spinning away from near destruction? Or do you want to be the tsunami ripping through a city, tearing apart your enemies walls? Perhaps I speak a little too poetically, how do you feel about fights? Thats what matters."

As he spoke Jins eyes lit with enthusiasm, it was clear that he was very much a tutor in nature, and that here he was in his element. As he spoke Satto had to repress his natural instinct to loudly and rudely make fun of his every word. It was a trying test, to be sure. But what was life without such hardship?
