Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

This was worrisome.

According to the Med-nin reports, a weaponized virus was spreading fast. Whoever was behind the virus knew what they were doing: targeting the area with the densest population and least hygiene - the slums at the reaches of the Grand Palais. It wasn't meant for the common or the infirm, however. It was clearly meant for the shinobi of Sunagakure. The 'undesirables' and the slum residents were just the jump start to the spread, pushing the virus outward at a quick rate to infect the chakra-reliant ninja. The virus effectively devours chakra and closes a person's chakra coils until they lose them completely and fall into a coma. Death is the final result.

It only took a few deadly cases before Onamuji was deployed to use his Rinnegan to try to track down the source of the viral plague. Another reason he was sent in was because his naturally pure and overwhelming chakra (Chakra Attuned/Normalize/Rikudo Sennin) was theoretically able to resist the virus much better than a standard source of chakra. The Med-nin were hoping that Muji would be the best suited to track the virus, as well as the most resistant to its effects. He hoped they were right. If they weren't his greatest strength would prove to be his downfall.

Step by careful step, he moved through the slums, scanning and watching the chakra signatures around him. For some time, he didn't see too much out of place. Weak signatures where they were to be expected, stronger signatures from village shinobi. After a while, he caught something that matched the descriptions...

One man was taking heavy breaths, but looked relatively fine. His chakra, however, held a purple tint at its core. Upon closer examination, this discoloration was moving along in fine paths that resembles strings along his body toward his chakra coils. Though very slowly, it was dimming his chakra. Muji knew it was what he was looking for. Moving quickly, he carried on in the direction the man was coming from.

The more he moved, the more and more infected he found, and the worse their conditions were. Some people were nothing but a slight hum of chakra. Eventually, he found something that caught his eye. A large warehouse stood, with immensely diseased people moving in and around it. Merging with the shadows using his Dark Displacement jutsu, the Jounin moved his way up the wall and held fast near a window. Inside, there were machines pumping out an indigo mist into canisters, which some men in hazard suits were moving along an assembly line. This was the place.

With one swift movement, Muji shattered through the window and landed inside, much to the surprise of those within. A few of the hired thugs, or so they seemed, pulled weapons but were quickly put down by a quick flurry of the Lightning Torrent jutsu. Spears of condensed lightning shot toward the would-be attackers, piercing their chests and dropping them to the ground. Some of the non-threats began to flee, but Muji let them run. They were guilty, but they were merely the workers doing the legwork. They were not responsible for the scheme itself.

Grabbing one of the apparent ringleaders, Muji used the Vision of Hell jutsu to briefly terrorize and intimidate the man. The subsequent interrogation was brief. In fear for his life, the ringleader gave up the location of the vaccine and a good amount of vital information. Whoever he was, he was at the top of the operation's food chain. Apparently, this was the only existing lab that could create the virus, and the group wasn't prepared for any other locations. They were a small group, led by a fanatic who hated shinobi, and they lacked funding.

With the vaccine in-hand and the knowledge that once the lab was destroyed the virus would be stopped, the young sage threw the ringleader into one of the machines, the gears of which caught him by the coat and held him firm. Though he panicked and pleaded, Muji used the Dragon Flame Bomb jutsu to ignite a large portion of the machinery and the chemicals inside. By the time the building combusted and collapsed, Muji was on his way back to the Med-nin to deliver the vaccine and give his report.

Now that a vaccine was procured, more could be manufactured and distributed, and the virus could be wiped out soon enough. Whoever was behind the plot had been stopped in his tracks, and Muji would survive the day. Even if he had contracted the virus, it was no longer a threat to the shinobi of Sunagakure.
