Being a young boy his skin is not quite beaten. An active boy that seems athletic for his age, it is very well known that he is one for the hand to hand combat type. His knuckles are normally seen wrapped and but his skin. Behind his copper toned skin and amber eyes is ash that clings to Ryuni from his constant use of his flaming techniques. He stands at a meager four feet tall maybe slightly taller than that but he's quite small for his age standing noticeably shorter than others at or around his age. His skin is singed from his passionate flames being uncontrolled at this point.
A young Yamashiro clansmen in Ryuni is bathed in the passion of fire, his ambitions, while based within his lineage as a Yamashiro keep him grounded he is a dreamer. Daydreaming often the boy wishes to become someone respected, revered in his village and even beyond. Not feared, but someone to be seen and understood to be valued not just for his power but for honesty, integrity, and discipline. He attempts to be a smart soul, but he tends to be quite average with his academics and in combat mechanics he only excelled at damaging himself and his opponents with his immense fire chakra being quite reckless with his close combat tactics and fluidity in mid ranged combat. Ryuni acts within the confines of rules and etiquette in his village. He may often be seen correcting other students and those of his own age to the laws.
Character History:
This is the beginning... the Tale of the Passionate Sunan... through the flames of ambition... the burning fire within ones self to ascend and be reborn in the embers of the phoenix, bursting bright anew with the aspirations and calling to be one of the greatest that his clan had ever seen... and maybe even beyond. This is the tale we shall regale you with... of a boy... named... Ryuni.
Born of in silent prophecy, Ryuni came into the world on the night of a new moon cycle, how was this relevant? It was not. We just wish to give you all the details. Anyways, there was nothing prophetic about the birth of this noddling child, actually he was very normal in the sense that he had a typical birth, his parents were both loving, and he was brought up joining in normal rituals of his clan that would be used for many ceremonies. It was the normalcy that made Ryuni want more of himself... and that drove his personal ambitions beyond what his body was able to commit to. By day, he would have his face in scrolls and texts helping him with his studies in school, and his afternoons and nights would be training in ceremonial subjugation of his clan.
This would go on for the first nine years of his life. It was simple, that he found his chakra nature would lean to the flames of the Yamashiro. Spending a great deal of time with his mother in learning how to channel his flames and the harness that power within himself. It came easy enough being attuned to it from such an early age, but it was in his personal training that he would sneak out to do that he would find his powers were... different. He could push his flames so harshly that he'd be able to sap the very moisture from the air if he were not careful. And it was in his endless ambitions to push himself that he'd create the first misstep on his journey... like many protagonists... antagonists... or even main characters there would be a time where they met a wall. An obstacle that they would not be able to push through unless they were willing to propel themselves through the proverbial barricade before them.
This barrier that placed itself before Ryuni would be his own body's ability. To push, he would hurt himself. To hurt himself he would ultimately thrust himself too far and he would parish. Anyone with no ambition would chose to turn back and live within the confines of that reality, to not send themselves absolutely and absurdly into that realm that there would be no turning back and yet...
Ryuni wanted to seek power and press against the veil just to peer through it enough to see if what went beyond was something worth striving for. To become something no one could expect of him, to soar past normalcy and dive through the barriers that were laid out before him but not even expected of him. It would come to past, that on his tenth birthday that he planned to do it. To push the flames of his heart and to be reborn as someone ready to protect his people. To protect the flames of his generation and beyond.
That night, the boy had a plot to go to the edge of the village and channel his chakra into the skies in a dazzling display of power, to light the sky with the power that equaled the shining might of the sunan sun. In this act, the details were sketchy, but from what sources state from multiple accounts is that the edge of the rocky edges of the village were burned a crisp and a hole had been seemingly punched through the side of a cliff... but also the entire right side of the boy had nearly been charred. Leaving the limb nearly unusable. . . which turned out not to be the case, as Ryuni is often seen being sleeveless with no real scarring on the limb.
In actuality, he'd only hurt his chakra core that day... his ability to push beyond was hampered by his ability to string together chakra infused techniques because his chakra core had suffered greatly limiting his maximum output. So, he had to think about his tactics from that day on. Which could've saved his life? Or could have made him a better warrior in some eyes having to think about his offense and making himself a bit more defensive. At any pace... he eventually graduated. . . .
And this is where his story turns out. . . the scrolls still have many pages to be written, many stories yet untold. Ryuni was just getting started, pushing himself to stand out would be hard, but he was determined and his passion would not be denied.
