The little girl was once again on her way towards the Embassy for another round. She already had three missions done. Three. Her good-for-nothing teacher promised her a class report if she succeeded in doing three missions, and what does he do? He goes on a vacation and is left with an even more incompetent temporary replacement. Satsuki had enough and decided to concentrate on missions. At this point, experience is a waaay better teacher than the actual one.
She made her way through her normal route and towards the old lady which again, was so delighted to see the young girl. This pissed her off as usual, but at least this lady didn't despise her or treated her like someone who had say, leprosy, no. this lady, as peculiar and somewhat annoying as she is, liked her. And that's all that mattered.
"Baby doll~ The right girl I was looking for~" bellowed (yes, bellowed) the woman. Satsuki's right eye twitched from this as her eyes narrowed in mild annoyance. She tried her best to form a nice smile but her mouth was a bit jerky,
"H-Hi! Is there some request I can do ma'am?" asked the girl politely.
"OF COURSE!~ You can do one for me babydoll-- you see, one of our janitors had one too many drinks last night and he called in sick earlier today. So I was wondering if you wanted something a bit easy this time, and close to home!" explained the extremely jovial woman.
"Uh, s-sure. I guess?"
This was the start of a stressful day for the young nin-to-be. Doing clean-up wasn't that bad. She was used to cleaning when she's at home since her grandma wasn't that strong anymore. But the utter annoyance and fondness (odd as it may sound) that accompanied the work was less than traumatic for the little girl. The important thing is that when five o'clock came, so did the end of her shift.
