Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

They had to move with haste and to that end Yukio thought it in his best interest to have them move individually rather than waste time planning moves as a whole standing just outside the city he was on alert that much was clear the slight glow emanating through his mask being the only hint to anyone possibly watching that the Hyuuga was present. Though he had hoped to find his teammates waiting that didn't seem to be the case a slight tsk escaping his lips.

Though he wasn't one to get annoyed or impatient this was a completely unique situation entirely the facts were Maki had gone missing in the space of a few hours and the only trace of his location at the time had been the strange figure bursting into the meeting to give them the information required to track him down. Though he could hope it was a simple matter of a long night out as some did on occasion something in the back of his mind said things wouldn't be so simple, as much as it would have been the better of the two options at this point.

Now it was just a short matter of waiting every second passing being one they couldn't afford pulling his gloves over his fists before snapping them shut a slight crack echoing through the area as the Captain sighed wondering if those he'd requested to join him would make good time arriving.

This was a rush, not only was this the first real mission he had been on, but this mission was of the utmost importance to the village which was clear from the presence of Yukio and the direction from the Hokage himself. It hadn’t taken long for Shinzo to arrive at the specified location, that was in his nature and as such he had chosen to spend some time scouting within the close proximity of the prearranged meeting point. Every few minutes the young shinobi checked in to see if anyone had arrived and the first few times there was nobody, but then the arrival of Yukio caught his attention.

Immediately Shinzo returned, stepping through reality itself to stand next to the masked ANBU. A serious expression sat ever present upon his face as he turned to face the Hyuuga, the greeting that followed was accompanied by a respectful nod of the head. “It is good to see you. I have spent a few minutes scouting our surrounding area, but nothing has caught my attention as of yet.” Shinzo stood with his green flak jacket clearly mission ready, equipment filled the specific slots dedicated to them. Across his back lay two butterfly swords held together in their shared sheath. Below them hung what seemed to be a reverse apron that covered the back of the boy’s legs to the knee joint. It swayed in the breeze for a moment while the two shinobi stood together.

“Apart from my own actions I have yet to find anything worth reporting on. Is there specific etiquette that I need to be aware of when in operations with you? By that I mean code names etcetera, as I would not wish to unknowingly give away your identity.” Shinzo paused for a moment, listening to the wind, passively searching for hints regarding the location of the ANBU sennin though at this stage he expected to find none.

His frame turned towards Yukio once again. “Do we have a plan?”

Eerily silent, the surgeon of Konohagakure maneuvers through the streets of Crater City, the atmosphere about Mikasa serious and the usual aura of warmth nonexistent. If the group assembled unable to perform their duties, then those within the village would be in for difficult time; worse case scenarios plague the mind of the Medical Sennin. The usual attire she adheres replaced with ANBU Gear, dark navy blue, and upon her visage a canine mask revealing only a pair of Sharinigan. Normally the Konoha superiors platinum locks flow freely in her wake, yet today tied into a bun.

Lurching forward the Sennin slips between the crowds and towering structures to reach the designated meeting site. Flickering before the duo, the masked duo settles onto a single knee - crouching, "Jihn, this your operation to helm. Your orders?" she murmurs in a tone unfamiliar to many. The normality of vibrant soothing vocals discarded, a frigid tundra tone escapes from behind the mask. On cue her gloved hands extend outwards to produce a series of syringes, three would be grasped in each hand, the poisons certainly not ones she wished on any human being. "Kunai and senbon don't suit me very well." she comments before glancing up towards Shinzo, at least from her vantage point.

"I advise disguising yourself, to have public figures of Konohagakure appear in broad daylight outside of the village will not result well." she comments to the Head Jounin. Maki and Mikasa had not had the pleasure of knowing each other, tracking his chakra a bit more difficult. Fortunately scent was a better option, a behemoth of a creature appears to her side, Jirfu the canine contract beast. In the maw of monstrous creature a piece of the crimson armor Maki apparently wore, "Reeks of alcohol.." the companion murmurs between the mouthful, "I'll compensate you later for your efforts." Mikasa replies, the crimson optics transfixing into a greater stage, Mangekyou.

As his companions arrived there was a short pause as he looked in detail at both seeing what preparations would be required before moving out Shinzo being the first thing to take care of on that list his exposed features not being the best thing as Mikasa had stated making a short series of handseals before a mask formed in his hand, mask summon, spinning it in his hand to face Shinzo. "Take it before we move, It's the one i used to wear when i was around your age so it shouldn't be too uncomfortable." There was a moment of pause to allow him to prepare himself before Yukio finally addressed the two.

"The first point to cover is finding the man, considering little time has passed since he was classed as missing we can assume he hasn't gone far as per what our visitor decided to inform us. Now it's a matter of using the skills with have in unison to pinpoint his location for that we will be counting on your sense of smell Jirfu, as we narrow down the area I can make use of the Hakumei to pick up his chakra simple but effective."

Tilting his head to Shinzo there was a moment of pause making quick calculations in his mind as the captain pondered most outcomes they could be faced with at that moment in time. "While i scan the area it takes much of my focus from other tasks away, As such i'm going to require you to keep a close eye on all who seem to be following us or seem to have ill intent hopefully that shouldn't be the case though from what i have heard of this place many undesirables reside in the area." Titling back to Mikasa there was a moment of thought, Being his first time leading a mission he couldn't help but wish it had been a bit more of a simpler matter such as leading a group of gennin on an escort mission however life was not always so kind.

"We don't know what condition we'll find the man in, so if possible try and save your strength though i don't doubt what you are capable of i think you see my trail of thought considering who we are dealing with assistance with Keeping an eye on things while me and your companion track however will be needed. One last thing I don't think i need to state names are not to be given at any point during this mission and should things get rough don't be afraid to take the man and go were not here to kill and cleanup only to retrieve " Giving them a moment to take in the roles given the Captain cracked his neck to the side, today would be a long day. "Let's take point Jirfu, time is not our ally right now. Trust me when i say we can't miss him even with the stench in the air."

The arrival of Mikasa something that Shinzo welcomed, though he did so quietly with a small bow of the head while remaining quiet and allowing the two more experienced shinobi to converse. Their apparel for this mission appeared to be matching, unlike Shinzo’s which – upon a second look – stood out of place in the trio. A light breath escaped his lips as the thought of his mistake lingered in his mind for a few seconds. The image and equipment that the medical sennin supplied was impressive to say the least, much more impressive than his own in Shinzo’s mind. Though in reality that didn’t matter, the issue at hand was more pressing than outfits. But Mikasa did make an important point, should this mission be one of anonymity then Shinzo was not best dressed to avoid identification. Thankfully, within moments Yukio produced a mask that looked to be a reasonable fit for the young shinobi. “Thank you, I shall ready myself in a moment once we have gone over the plan.”

Shinzo took a moment to look down to the mask and then to the canine summon that had been brought forth by the medical sennin. It seemed as though this would indeed be an extremely high stakes mission and as such the teen readied himself mentally. As he did so his ears listened in to the instructions being brought forward, the speed with which the group had been dispatched hopefully gave them a small grace period with which to locate the ANBU sennin, though such a thing could never be a certainty in missions such as this. As Yukio tilted his head in address Shinzo nodded once more, his role in the mission becoming ever clearer by the moment. “Understood. I will take up the rear-most position in our formation staying back to make sure that the main body of the group is not being followed. Should things turn south I can easily catch up in an instant and if it turns out that we are being followed I shall signal you before engaging. I am not the best out of us to provide medical aid should it be required upon retrieval so I will keep my focus on safety of the group.” He paused for a moment to allow all those present to take in his suggestion before his mouth opened to speak once more. “I hope that is an acceptable application of my abilities?”

Upon hearing their responses, Shinzo disappeared for a few seconds before reappearing a few moments later. The mask was on now, his flak jacket no longer present, instead the shinobi simply wore a deep blue bodysuit that stretched up and over his chin. The waves of his brown hair were now barely noticeable except from behind, a pouch of tools sat on each of his hips while the sheathed butterfly swords rested on the small of his back in their sheath. “I’m ready.”

The behemoth cared not for the situation unfolding within the realm of Konoha, reluctantly the canine flicks his bushy tail across the porcelain mask of the Hyuuga, "Hai, Taichou.." Jirfu's tone clearly vindictive yet stern on his ways of protecting his pact partner. Bearing his weight upon all fours, with a massive push forward the beast lurches forward at an alarming speed; although Shinzo more than likely the only one capable of outpacing. Flapping against the zephyrs, the cloth in the maw of Mikasa's trusty steed threatening to escape. "Not to worry, I'll handle all applications concerning medical, I will be counting on your cover if the occasion deems itself necessary." a mere pause, "Though, let us pray it is not."

Gesturing for the ANBU Captain to rush after the bustling pooch, Mikasa sheathes her shinobi tools. Raising the canine guise ever so slightly, her lips can be viewed against the thin fabric, inhaling a deep breath before lowering the mask. She wasn't lacking in proper oxygen level intake, merely a method to soothe any potential lingering nerves. Gazing forward against the various structures and landscape, the crimson optics flicker about ensuring their approach had not been seen from the close proximity range her Mangekyou Sharingan would allow. Content with the little information gained, the medical kunoichi streaks off after the canine, who leapt from rooftop to rooftop, often whizzing through ally ways and gaining the audible gasp of children. Jirfu not as stealthy as he would hope to be, but he lacked transformation technique and in the extremity of the situation beggars could not be choosers.

Following close behind, to tail between Yukio and the pooch and without a pun being warranted, she silences herself and readies every fiber in her body to be alert for the worst case scenarios. From the front a baratone voice reports, "Two similar scents in the distance, one of heavier alcohol." pausing in similar fashion to Mikasa, "Either that or the whole Crater City is full of drunks." he grumbles between the mouthful.

With all their parts to play handed out they could begin to make a move and a swift one at that something all present seemed to understand Yukio following to join the Canine forming a series of hand seals as the veins formed by his eyes, Scan, extending his visual range though that did not mean all was clear the man would still be depending on his team to point the Hakumei in the right direction to lock onto the target. "Two scents? Either he's found himself company for the evening or we best be ready for what is to come."

His worst fears may have been realized in those moments Yukio knew the man he called Sennin was no pushover who whoever they could be facing would be something far worse as the went through the twists and turns of the city the Hyuuga pushed himself to Jirfu's side speaking in hushed tones. "Once you think we're close point me in the direction unless they are hidden away I should be able to find their Chakra." From time to time his vision would redirect it's focus behind them considering the route taken there was certain to be those too curious in what was going on tilting his head to Shinzo before flicking it slightly in the direction they had come from.

"Should any still be trying to keep up then cover out tracks, I'd rather not have civvies getting too curious they'll only get in the way." With that very few words left the Captains lips not was not the time to give out too much information focus returning directly in front of them extending it out to as far is the man could force it to reach a slight twitch in his movements as he did so attempting to lock onto their query.

The remaining shinobi lifted the base of his mask with his left hand while reaching into one of his pouches with his right, now having revealing his mouth, the partially masked teen brought up a single sunflower seed and began to chew while he waited. Shinzo watched on as the others immediately dashed off far into the distance. A single deep breath escaped his lips in the moment that the young shinobi stood alone, this was it now, everything was really starting to grow in intensity. His deep brown locks swayed in the residual wind brought on by the sudden departure of his peers. From behind Yukio’s old mask, the Head Jounin’s emerald eyes scanned Crater City. What to expect was beyond his experience but Shinzo was going to do everything in his power to ensure the security of his squad for this mission. A few seconds or so had passed since the departure of Mikasa, Yukio and Jirfu, as such Shinzo decided that the distance that had been created was ample. After one final chew, the Seikon spit the seed out and pulled the mask back over the lower half of his face. Before the sunflower seed hit the floor, Shinzo was gone.

He followed as subtly as possible. His form faded in and out of existence, reappearing in random locations in the given proximity between himself and the main body of the squad. As the rear-most shinobi he had to make sure that he could not be predictably followed so that his attention would be solely on guarding his fellow ninja.

The teen gave a sharp nod in response to Yukio’s order and continued his surveillance. Shinzo watched as the occasional curious child climbed up toward the occasional rooftop. Not only was this a threat to the security of the squad, but this was also a threat to the safety of the civilians in the area. He pushed on, appearing near a pair of girls that had been following behind, at this moment they were watching on from one of the rooftops behind the group. Immediately he scooped them up in his arms before leaping down gently from the building, Shinzo shook his head silently before bringing forth two boiled sweets from what would now seem to be his snack pouch and offering one to each girl. In a flash the Seikon was gone again. Once more his figure followed the main group ahead, though he never moved to catch up and instead remained at his preassigned distance.

The behemoth of a creature trots along the cobblestone pathways, no longer finding the use in concealing his appearance; far to offset to pose as a mere pooch. Mikasa follows closely at the rear of her companion, "Are you able to locate the general direction?" she inquires, a bit muffled from behind the porcelain mask. Scoffing the beast spats out the cloth belonging to the ANBU Sennin, "You should've made the pup come with his pack if you are so concerned with my capabilities." pivoting about to settle his moist noise against the guise, "Focus, you very well I place my utmost trust within you." she murmurs.

Content with the response the canine swivels to face forward and leap upwards onto the nearest structure. "To the left, the scent we seek is near. I pray your eyes work behind that mask." Jirfu laughs before shifting his massive burly tail to and fro. Another silent indication for Mikasa to mount the contract summon, leaning forward to grasp a hold of the earthern hue fur. Patting the side of the beast, she gestures forward for the ANBU Captain to take the helm. "Jirfu, thank you. For now I wish for you to rest." this particular statement causing the creature to become perplexed, ears lowering slightly, "What do you mean?" he inquires in a low baritone, "We can't risk anymore exposure, your size gives you off from a great distance." she offers as a means of explanation.

Grumbling the creature shifts his gaze towards Yukio, only due to Shinzo fading in and out about them - silent communication of ensuring her safety as a priority. With a poof of smoke he departs to the opposing realm and the Medical Sennin left kneeling on the rooftop. "Let us commence, we have kept him waiting long enough."

The woman laughed at the pathetic attempts that Maki had managed to take up, it seemed that he was still trying to fight even in his current condition. Though that was fine with her, she had other plans for the man named Maki. The ANBU Sennin that was such a waste of a title on a man that could not hold there own against someone like her, it seemed that he still had a lot to understand, and she would teach him. It would be a lesson learnt in blood and pain as a huge dark entity manifested beside its owner. It seemed that Maki was not the only one playing by the rules of a persona as this thing came to life.

Img-Teddy.png

“You call yourself a ANBU Sennin, pathetic, you are nothing but scum and your village and even you will bow down before mistress soon. But unfortunately, once my play thing has had its fun with you, there may be simply something left for you to bow down to me with. That is just a hazard of the job, though let me tell you ANBU Sennin to ANBU Sennin, you are the weakest I have met so far Maki of the Isaki clan”

The bear like thing was already behind Maki in those few seconds, grabbing him it threw him clean into the wooden wall, the force of the throw broke him clean threw the wood and into the street, his arm and eye still missing as the woman stepped clean past the gap, glancing up the street it seemed that more Shinobi had turend up, maybe they were looking for Maki, at least now they had found him. Though the wicked smile and the eyes showed that she was going to enjoy this counter.

“Ah more of you have turned up finally, it seems that I will managed to actually play, I was given orders to just interrogate but you, the boy with the white hair, now you look like something I could actually enjoy playing with”

She turned to face them, her black cloak waving slightly as he gave no thought to the downed Maki as he lay in the middle of the street in his current state, soon after her a huge form of a bear slowly climbed threw the hole and followed its mistress as it looked to face the three that had come to this location. Though the smile allowed the rows of razor sharpened teeth to appear the claws came out in those few seconds as it stood dormant waiting for the outcome to be decided between them.

“Well I will have to kill the others, though that is against orders, but you the one with the eyes, I think I will allow you to live as a pet, after all if this was what Konaha calls a Sennin these days, the reports that we had where coming in inaccurate, I will just have to learn first hand how strong you really are”

[OOC: Maki is now regrouped]

Looking down the their Sennin flew through the wall the Hyuuga came to a stop looking in detail at the mans condition before his gaze was locked on the women, not making any sudden moves bar stepping closer to the Sennin. Her words made the man raise an eyebrow below the mask rather upfront and uncaring considering what she was faced with though given what she'd managed here it was understandable why safe to say Maki was a mess. "Doubtful this is going to be a simple pickup then, Don't think i quite fancy becoming a pet of yours think you'll find I'm a taken man"

His words carried a smug confidence though that was a simple cover up at this point not moving his vision away from the women though addressing Mikasa in that moment. "Not a great state that much is obvious, there won't be much time and the longer we waste the more chance things will get serious so take him and try to get out or at least get the man on his feet." his head tilted in that moment addressing the head Jounin nodding slowly before closing his hands into fists. "Hate to ask old friend but you know that means we get this dance."

There was a slight smile under the mask happy he'd chosen his allies well given the situation they all found themselves in taking steps towards their foe. "Your reports were inaccurate? well perhaps we can shed a little more life on what we can really do." His orders were clear as day in the mind of the captain, so long as both Maki and Mikasa made it home the mission was a success, getting shinzo home was a priority for the man however that would have to change as the situation developed.

Wind whipped through Shinzo’s exposed brown hair, while normally this would frame his face it instead just gave way to the mask he had borrowed from Yukio. On occasion the teen spun around mid-flight in order to survey the surrounding area as best he could, it didn’t take too long to observe that there were no pursuers making themselves known. With this decided, the figure of the Head Jounin pushed onwards while consistently flickering in and out of existence only to reappear in a random location behind the main body of the search group. His emerald eyes were soon brought to focus on the cloud of dust and debris that rose from the appearance of Maki as well as the pair of figures that were soon to follow. For a second Shinzo paused to take a breath, re-centring himself in an effort to suppress the mixture of excitement and nervous adrenaline that swiftly flooded his body. Whatever was going on did not seem particularly peaceful. That was for sure.

He touched down in a nearby alley, out of sight of the group for he had not yet met with them. A volley of handseals later, and having pressed both hands to the bare earth, a single metallic figure rose from the floor. “Metal style: Steel clone Jutsu!” It’s steely shape soon bore the colours matching Shinzo. With his doppelganger created, the boy opted to allow the clone to make its way over to the main body of the group while he attempted to remain hidden for the time being. It didn’t take long for Shinzo’s clone to catch up with the group after once more checking that there were no shinobi in pursuit. Though instead of simply stepping through reality, it instead opted to run in order to make up the distance. With the added threat of the two unknown figures, Shinzo could not afford to give away any of his abilities too soon for that would remove any surprise advantage he had, and besides, his clones hadn’t mastered his Seikon abilities (if it were even possible to do so).

The clone touched down by the side of Yukio with an emphasis on remaining as convincing as possible while the real Shinzo warped to a position behind the two unknown, yet seemingly hostile presences. He watched from the shadows, aiming to analyse each foe in as much detail as possible before any fighting broke out. Looking through a mask was unfamiliar to him, though this did not draw away from his ability to scan each of the hostile entities. The teen readied himself for what was yet to come, unpredictability was clearly going to be working against the squad sent to find Maki.

Shinzo’s clone soon spoke up in reply to Yukio. “Well, I guess I do enjoy dancing every now and then.” Its eyes remained fixed on the two hostiles stood in the street. Making sure Mikasa and Maki were able to get away was of top priority. Both Shinzo and his clone were ready to engage, though the former aimed to remain stealthed as long as possible. Things were about to get interesting.

The medical kunoichi would be lying to herself if she were expecting the ANBU Sennin to crash through the nearest wall, ricocheting off the pavement in a rag doll fashion. Swiftly the crimson transfixed crimson hues lock against the more prominent injuries of Maki, For a brief instance the opportunity to retrieve the shinobi presented itself, Shinzo taking the liberty to separate the pair; however Mikasa was not foolish enough to believe a hasty retreat possible. The monstrous creature another unexpected circumstance, revealing itself through the exposed interior Maki hurtled moments prior from. To disregard the bear as a contract companion would be foolish, yet far too early to tell.

Flickering forward the veiled Medical Sennin crouches beside the injured samurai, weaving a set of hand seals, the maidens palms press firmly against the cobblestone, "Doton: Doryūheki..." her vocals a stern whisper in the night sky, but the stoic optics eye the ANBU Captain and Head Jounin - a potential brief farewell. Mikasa's two allies were to be separated from herself and the injured swordsman, the wall of terrain consisting of hardened minerals and mud. Without any hesitation she hoists the clunky oaf over her shoulder through chakra enhancing her strength to perform the near impossible - an odd sight for certain.

Leaping through the air, Mikasa only contacts a structure to rebounce into the sky - her opposing hand grasping a hold of the broad back of Maki, slithering through the gaps between the armor to caress against his bare flesh. Through the combined efforts of Coagulation, Tranquilize, and Regeneration the shinobi would at least cease bleeding out all over the streets below from the open wound. Truthfully, the tranquilize technique was a shot in the dark, more than likely unable to provide any comfort, but the Regeneration a bit different than the run off the mill. Her own chakra would infuse in the coils of his own, a symphonic harmony to restore damaged tissue on the budding where his arm once were - closing the wound.

"If you awake, do not stir, your Captain and our head Jounin are covering our potential escape." she murmurs, perspiration clinging to the rear of her neck, focusing on not loosing her footing. The thought of turning about to aid the duo was prominent, yet the mission was clear; hopefully she would be able to place down the warrior to return to the battlefield - except she knew the combination of techniques and earth style barricade draining at least a quarter of her own chakra, if not more.

Takeshi allowed his robes to flash in front of Mikasa as he walked the pavements the hat firm on his head as he looked to his medical Sennin. He allowed himself a few moments to gaze at her for a second after all it would be wrong of him to just disregard the beauty that was before him as he tilted his hat he allowed his eyes to flash down to the broken form of Maki. He knew full well that they had already had a small part of them broken, it seemed that he was down a Sennin and a friend, he looked at the state of the man.

“Mikasa, get Maki out of here, I am going to go and help Yukio and Shinzo. Prepare the branch to receive the injured and lock the gates down”

Takeshi continued to move swiftly as he vaulted up onto the roof tops deciding to take the approach from higher ground, as he allowed himself to slink down and land gently onto the ground. Landing in front of Yukio he allowed himself to stand up at fully height the robes fluttering in the wind as he turned his head slightly towards his Son and allowed a smile to come and reach his mouth.

“I figured I would take a stroll, looked like I ended up here, interesting situation it seems that you found yourselves in would you not agree Yukio. Though I must question if there was an intent in the message that they sent towards us it does make me ponder what the future holds. I couldn’t let you two come alone, I believe I sent for someone else as well, if they got my message or not is a different matter but let’s see what have we got here?”

Takeshi allowed himself to turn his head around to face the Woman, he took in a few seconds to study the whole in the wall and the situation that came with it. This was the scene of what could be depicted as from a horror movie though he stood his ground as he frowned slightly.

“It seems that you know enough about us, however I find that rude that I do not know your name. May I have it please or would that be to much of a stretch? I meant manners are supposed to exist in the Shinobi world. So shall we keep to them?

Kenshin's entrance was less subtle and more of a mini earthquake as he came rocketing past Mikasa and Maki and landing besides Takeshi. The Hokage had been quick to move but Kenshin was ready. His black training gear was his norm but he was wearing the Leaf village vest and over it his Sennin robes.

He had followed with little words.

Now he was here and ready. This foe had made herself know and played her hand.

"A name, if you please." Kenshin would say cracking his knuckles and popping his neck to one side.

It seemed that the woman was watching the entire situation unfold as. It had to be said that the village still had a lot to learn, she has already considered that as she listened to all the talk. A laugh escaped her lips in those few seconds as it was clear that there was a plan to her madness, her eyes narrowed and became cold in as she reached into her pocket and pulled something out, a single flare, allowing the string to come out it shot up into the sky and illuminated the entire street in the red glow from it being signalled.

“Now the real party can begin, after all I would hate to be the only one to turn up to this little meeting of all the important people. Its only fitting that I call the other Sennin into this conversation would you not agree? Better that they understand the entire situation than just watch from the side lines, and this way we can all meet each other face to face. After all the preparation, all of the hard work we have been doing it shouldn’t go unnoticed should it Lord Hokage?”

Manic laughter came from one of the side streets as a female walked out, sword resting on her shoulders as her purple eyes wide in a lust for blood as she stepped towards the group that had come there, it seemed the flare had done the goal as this lady stepped forward and licked her lips as she glanced towards the group, gauging each one of them in a split second it was clear that she had a taste for the arts, though considering her eyes where looking at each of them as if unpeeling the very skin from there body it seemed that she had come for the fun of killing.

“I saw the flare and came as soon as I could, I hope I haven’t missed anything? But you know me, I always try to at least make an entrance”

“I hope I made it on time as well? I have to say that this is not perfection, you were supposed to gather information not cause a conflict.”

The voice of another man came past as in the opposite direction walked, he wore a suite and looked more respectable than the others. His blue hair styled in perfection and in his other hand he carried a violin, it seemed that he was also with the others as he approached them for a moment in time he stood beside the original woman that had turned up. He stood silent for a few minutes before he lowered his head slightly as if predicting the final arrival of the last group member.

It seemed that the three stood there prepared and ready, each one of them had a task as the man stepped forward towards the group his eyes looking at each of them for a few moments before he smiled to himself.

“As predicted so impure and unworthy. You have forgotten about us in time, but we have not forgotten about you, as such we come towards with a warning, you need to be eradicated from this world. As such we are here to do this for you. We are here to show you the error of your ways. We will eradicate the entirety of Konaha.”

Though at first it seemed the balance would be in their favor with the arrival of Kenshin and Takeshi, Yukio was not foolish enough to let his guard down tilting his head back to his Kage his tone serious and focused. "We know nothing here, though considering the state we found our Sennin in safe to say she's no pushover to say the least i advise caution." Should it come to conflict there was confidence the four of them could push past her however that would not remain the case for long three more arriving at the scene.

"Seems you had friends of yours waiting in the wings and have no intention of telling us much though your threats are rather straight forward so there's at least that yet you seem to know quite a bit about us watching us for some time?" There was hope from the Hyuuga he could at least get something out of them though this was a stretch from what he could tell they would gain everything they could in their favor and leave leaf in the dark. "But what of the here and now, doubt you've gathered the rest of your kin for a chat and tea."

Though his voice carried confidence with the arrival of his allies the Hyuuga was more than aware that proceeding with careless acts would more than likely lead to a grizzly outcome, keeping his distance from the group his eyes refocused on sweeping the rest of the area. "Though you seem rather confident coming out in the open like this, I assume you see us as less a threat and more an obstacle?"

Shinzo continued his watch from the distance, far to the rear of the now apparent enemies that had made themselves known. His emerald like eyes pierced through the air of Crater City, continually scanning his surroundings as well as that of his comrades. His breathing remained slow and calm, heartbeat slowed in order to conceal his position as much as possible. The corner of his mouth cracked into a slight smile as the wall of earth erupted from the ground upon Mikasa’s command. It was good to see such skill put to use so early, yet it did not compromise the mission in any way. Such a shift in terrain would be something to keep aware of if the situation was to escalate any further.

Shinzo’s steel clone stood quietly, its arms folded while it stared down the monstrous form of a bear. In truth it was waiting to leap into action, gathering as much information as it could before combat began, if that were to be what the future had in store for the group. It stood, with shoulders pulled confidently back. There was no reason to speak right now, instead its focus was on intercepting any pre-emptive strikes made by the frost shinobi.

The swift arrival of both Takeshi and Kenshin was a comforting factor in this most tense of situations, in truth Shinzo hadn’t quite placed the threat of this woman and her creature at Kage level but evidently things were not as they seemed. Such a thought was quickly reaffirmed by the appearance of yet more unknown shinobi. Their threats were anything but empty, that was apparent enough. Shinzo continued his watch from stealth, it would take less than a second for the Seikon to cover the ground to the now revealed enemies, but hopefully doing so would remain as a surprise for them. It was possible that these enemies knew of his location, if so that would eliminate any chance of a sneak attack but that wasn’t quite a lethal sacrifice. Once again, the Head Jounin looked around to observe his surroundings once more, he couldn’t rule out the possibility of even more enemies appearing.

Traditional robes flutter against the zephyrs, in the brief instance in their passing the world stands still, "Takeshi-sama, it is not my place to comment, but you shouldn't be here." she responds from beneath the porcelain ANBU guise, "All I ask is do your utmost to ensure the medical unit and I can piece together our comrades from injury." Mikasa whispers, the private conversation coming to an abrupt ending as time resumes and they continue on their separate paths. Lurching forward the Sennin's pace hastens, time of the essence and Maki's condition only a brief stabilization in the grand scheme of things.

Zig zagging through the intertwining alley ways the Sennin is confident in an escape, assuming the trusted colleagues able to cover the remaining temporary retreat. The true battle for Maki and Mikasa would begin, would her chakra and stamina hold out until reaching the gates? To to apply medical chakra to the samurai while simultaneously outputting chakra to hoist the lug was equivalent to gassing out an engine. "Could you find a way to let me down slowly? A little a sympathy I hope you can show me, Kami-sama." she prays towards the ambience of the endless vast sea of sky above.

Deactivating her stolen Uchiha heritage, the crimson optics revert to tundra. "This night is cold in the kingdom, I can feel you fading away, Maki-san." muffled words reach an unconscious warrior, "Hang on a bit more." she continues to murmur tenderly, exerting herself further to race against her own body. In the end she would either falter at the finish line or stagger across into the open arms of the village. His wounds were severe, significant blood loss left the body in shock - fortunately the crimson liquid ceasing to flow long ago; an immediate transfusion required.

Kenshin's eyes darted around. The situation quickly became even more dangerous and even. It was a dangerous situation to be in for everyone. Mikasa was doing her duty and running away with Maki. Good. That was the objective. He was not gong to engage with these shinobi if he could avoid it. If they forced his hand, he would have to act.

"I think we got off on the wrong foot here." Kenshin would say his hands raised in mock surrender. "Granted you were the ones that attacked us, attempted to kill our Sennin, and then declared you were going to destroy the village but hey we all make mistake time and again. So why don't we just sit around and talk about what the issue is. I make a fine tea. I hand pick the leaves myself and are poison free I promise. We sit, we talk, and we can come to an agreement. I think that is the best course of action don't you?" Kenshin would smile but not for an instant would his guard be down.

"Come now a name would be nice! I am Kenshin as you may or may not know. See, a sign of good faith! Now if you could return in kind it would be appreciated. Knowing the name of the person you are talking to starts the beginning of hopefully a good relationship. From there we could form a nice friendship. Really, it would benefit everyone here to jut sit and talk. We are all stressed with such a grandiose entrance and announcement and I can teach you some really helpful meditation techniques to help that stress." Kenshin would still smile and look around.

It was a ruse. He needed to buy as much time as he could for Mikasa. Maki was barely alive and if they were attacked now, it would be dangerous. Too dangerous. He had his own plans if things went south. He hoped that Takeshi was getting at what he was talking about whe h e was going on and on about relaxing and sitting.
