Akagi had at one point lived in Soon's have, which had made him accustomed to the sea. When around water, Akagi felt at home, and being back in the city's grounds was like running through a playground for him. The Harbour brought many memories back to Akagi of how and where he met Miu and how he would soon see her again.
Walking at the edge of the docks, watching fisherman sling their lines and ships docking or leaving port, Akagi had arrvied in Soon's Haven primarily to pick up a special package his father had ordered that would arrive by boat. However, Akagi had a secondary motivation for coming and that was to see if his childhood friend Miu, still resided in the area. Standing at the waters edge, he placed his right hand on his hip and slouched foward touching his tows with his left hand, stretching after a long journey. Keeping an eye out for the person who would deliver the package to him from the merchant vessel, Akagi took in his surroundings and inhaled the fresh salt water smell, with a strong odor of fish permeating the atmosphere. Raising his back and reaching to the sky to hopefully relieve pressure on his spine, Akagi heard a faint whistle in the distance that had caught his attention. Lowering his arms as his leather cloak that reached no lower than his shoulders flapped against the sea breeze, Akagi began looking around for the whistle. Directly in front of Akagi a man appeared behind a mass of boxes, carrying a long sword shaped object that was wrapped in some form of cloth material. Tied at the top of the object that was closest to the mans head was a rope braided around it. Approaching him directly, Akagi began to pull out the money his father had given him to obtain the object. The man was scruffy and looked like a veteran sea monger, scars drip down his cheeks and burly arms. He was wearing dark blue seafairing overalls overtop of a black shirt, along with black boots. His face was ordinary and consisted of short black hair and a slight scruff, which constantly moved as he grunted carrying the object.
Lifting up the money the man began to shake his head as he came to a stop in front of Akagi. "You don't have to pay for this kid, just tell your pops I said hello and we are even," shocked by the offer, Akagi nodded his head in confusion as the object was handed to him. While gripping the cloth on the object he could tell it was a sword, no doubt about it. Running his hand down the elongated object Akagi rusteld over the rope and a cross guard. Smiling as he felt it and a bit confused as to why his dad would want a sword, he began to question the man. "Why for free, and why for my dad?" Akagi had always known his father to be a ordinary general merchant, but had recently been noticing how at the mention of his name people offered things for free. The man had a understanding look on his face and asserted with a nod before turning away, ""Don't worry about it kid, just get that to him alright?" Conforming to his answer Akagi nodded and waved goodbye to the stranger. Unbraiding the rope Akagi slung the sword onto his back which was nearly as tall as he was, tieing the rope to his shoulder over the cloak. Turning toward the dock, and looking down to his feet, he decided that it would be better to wait for the time to see Miu again.
Trekking his way through the harbor to reach the front gates to exit Soon's Haven, Akagi spotted a girl with red hair that looked to be his age with a woman and a cart, smiling he tilted his head down and began his journey back to the village with the newly obtained weapon.
