Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Forging a Blazing Spirit! [Tutor]

Sorry for the late reply, the combination of the new NC patch and studying for my physics exam i've been short for time!

Tatsuo offered him the rice ball and sat back, eating his own with gusto. Skipping his earlier meal definitely starved the boy and one missed meal was one too many. "You've been hitting a wall for the last couple of hours." he said with a cheeky smirk, gesturing to the wooden wall that served as Saito's target practice. "But you're right. It's something that your body just isn't capable of yet and while.." he said before taking a generous bite into his last rice ball. After a few moments of chewing later, "It's not always a great idea to brute force things, sometimes you have to. Something like that is definitely one of them.

Enjoying the silence shared between the two he thought to his own training. He never managed to split his chakra into it's respective elements, it had it's uses. Wood while sharing the strength of earth and the fluidity of water was denied some of their more specific properties. Diversity was important to a shinobi but thus far Tatsuo had only managed to mold his chakra into wood style. He hadn't faced many problems because of it, but it was something that crossed his mind.

The boy sure trained hard, Tatsuo thought. When he was half his age it was nearly impossible to get him to do anything training related for long, with age he grew into it but perhaps his peculiar relationship with Kaji had something to do with that. "Hey kid, it's beginning to get dark, where do you live?" he asked the next time Saito took a short break, not to interrupt his training.

"Down by the library," Saito replies to Tatsuo, telling him the street and address as he leans back on his hands. Inwardly, he reviewed his training progress with curiosity. He'd gotten the flames and the water to the point that he could immediately turn them to shadow after summoning them... but evoking shadow jutsu directly still remained out of his reach. Saito had no clue how to bridge the gap at this point, but firmly believed that he could grasp it with more focused work -- just like Tatsuo said... "It's not always a great idea to brute force things, sometimes you have to. Something like that is definitely one of them."

I'll figure this out, I just need to work on it more...

He brought his hands up in front of his face, watching them lightly tremble involuntarily. He knew what this meant... it was the sort of exhaustion that meant he should probably stop for the night, and sleep.

"Needing to sleep can be so troublesome," Saito sighed, falling back into the grass with a slight hint of frustration in his tone. His love/hate relationship with the need for forced unconsciousness tended to come out during long training sessions, one of the few relatively negative sentiments he would express. Even in that moment, however, he couldn't be happier.

He lies in the grass for a bit longer, before sitting up and looking at Tatsuo. "I'm getting closer, Shinrin-sensei! I guess I should call it for now though."

Again, sorry for taking so long I had a huge bout of exams but it should be better now, btw i'm going to post in the gate thread and leave then i'm going to link the exit country thread to you. Are you still in any threads in the Village?

"Alright, i'll walk you home then." he said standing up and letting out a yawn, once again there was an overgrown patch of grass at the spot he sat. "You're doing good kid and if the Raikage lets you come then you'll be doing more than just firing off instant shadow balls." he said with a grin, as he walked over to him extending a hand to lift him up. Tatsuo let out a yawn and motioned for Saito to lead the way to his home.

After a short bout of travelling they would near to his home. "See-ya tomorrow, show up near my house whenever you get a chance and we'll start again. Maybe something a little different but the shadow thing will definitely be part of it." he said before waving and heading down the street. But he would stop and ensure Saito got into his house before finally heading home.

Saito accepts Tatsuo's assistance in rising and likewise yawns, stretching. "Do you think so? Think I'll get to meet the Raikage? I wish I could see him before I leave!" Walking back to his residence with Tatsuo, he reflected on his time in Kumogakure. It had been so brief! And there were so many more things he wanted to do, like study in the library and make friends! Maybe there would be some time for that... he'd have to find it within the short window of time Tatsuo would need to get permission for the journey and make all of the arrangements. Plus there was this BBQ place he REALLY wanted to try...

"See you tomorrow morning, Shinrin-sensei!" Saito says to Tatsuo as he opens his door and steps inside, waving to the older boy. While home he didn't do much -- ate again, practiced a little more, and then slept until morning. The next morning -- and the start of practically every morning until departure -- would see Saito outside Tatsuo's forest home training, oftentimes before Tatsuo himself even ventured outside for the first time. The kid did seem to like to train.
